Bombshell: Clinton Foundation Donor's Flight From Justice Aided by Hillary Allies
[Observer] Clinton donor smeared a decorated DEA agent and helped crooked Venezuelan friends escape justice.

Recent news reports indicate that the FBI is investigating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for granting favors to her family’s foundation donors and for its systematic accounting fraud. In January, the Sunday Times of London cited former Judge Andrew Napolitano, a conservative libertarian and frequent Fox News guest, as saying that the FBI was taking evidence "seriously" and that Hillary "could hear about that soon from the Department of Justice."

It’s hard to believe that the Obama administration and its hideously politicized Justice Department would ever indict Ms. Clinton, given that President Barack Obama picked her for secretary of state and its clear favoritism toward her in the presidential race. But there is massive evidence that shows financial abuses--including money laundering--at the Clinton Foundation and overwhelming evidence that donors were helped by Ms. Clinton.

To take one of so many examples, there’s the case of Clinton Foundation donor Claudio Osorio--who is now housed at a federal prison serving 12 years for fraud--who in 2010, with Ms. Clinton’s (and Bill Clinton’s) help, won a $10 million loan from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.

The loan was granted to an Osorio firm called InnoVida, which was supposed to build houses in earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Instead, Osorio pocketed the money and used it to underwrite his lavish lifestyle and to pay off politicians. For political muscle, Osorio--who also had close ties to Jeb Bush, who sat on the board of a bank he owned--paid a lobbyist and major Hillary fundraiser named Jonathan Mantz.

And that leads me to another Clinton Foundation donor Ms. Clinton helped out who happened to use Mr. Mantz (who now runs Ms. Clinton’s presidential campaign Super PAC) and apparently with the same great effect: Gonzalo Tirado, a crooked Venezuelan financier.

Champ regime 'hiding' new regs from Congress
[Examiner] The Obama administration imposed over 1,000 new rules, one-third of all proposed in 2015, without first following the law and giving Congress a look and chance to kill them, according to a new report.

The American Action Forum, which studies federal rules, regulations and other actions, said that the number of violations in 2015 was even bigger than in 2014, when a top Obama aide apologized for breaking the law and promised to make sure new rules were first passed by Congress and the General Accountability Office.

The center-right group said that despite the pledge, it found "955 rules weren't sent to GAO in 2014 and roughly 1,069 weren't reported in 2015." The report said that there were 3,408 rules issued by the administration's agencies last year.

The Congressional Review Act requires that agencies pass new rules by Congress before they are imposed, explaining the impact of each and whether they will have a major or minor economic impact.

Ed Klein: Justice Sources Say Huma May Be Forced to Testify on Hillary Emails
[Tea Party] Asked during a recent Democratic debate if she would step aside if indicted for mishandling classified information on her private email server, Hillary Clinton replied:

"Oh for goodness ... that's not going to happen. I'm not even answering that question."

Well, she better get ready to answer that question, because the investigation of Hillary's email scandal is reaching a climax.

My sources tell me that the Justice Department is close to empaneling a grand jury and deciding whether to grant statutory immunity to Huma Abedin, Hillary's closest adviser.

That would force Huma to testify under oath and face perjury charges and jail time if she lies. I’m also told that Hillary herself will most likely be forced to testify.

That things have gotten this far in the investigation indicates that FBI director James Comey is moving inexorably toward recommending to Attorney General Loretta Lynch that Hillary be indicted.

My sources say the likelihood is that Lynch will not make that decision herself. Instead, she'll probably appoint a special counsel to make the decision. That will get the Obama administration off the hook and avoid charges of a conflict of interest or, even worse, obstruction of justice.

#3  This source has track record for spilling the beans on a lot of folks who "should have known better". From what I read, the "old hands" at interpreting NE tabloid exposes say that the inclusion of photos that can be identified with minor effort suggest that NE is prepared to defend itself aggressively against defamation charges - which means that it probably has fairly strong hard evidence. I guess that time will tell.

I wonder if this is effectively Donald Trump "firing a shot across the bow" of the SS Rafael Cruz, to let him (and all subsequent opponents) know that taking shots at Melania will earn them withering counter-battery fire.

Cruz campaign adviser Jason Johnson tweeted links to a report that Trump and Enquirer CEO David Pecker had been friends for years.

Trump denied having anything to do with the story.

"Ted Cruz's problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz."

Secondly the Enquire recently came out with the story that Scalia was assassinated by a "$2,000 dollar a night hooker recruited by the CIA from Mexico". No, you aren't misreading that.

This is baseless so far. I'll wait until some actual evidence turns up, like with John Edwards.

Hillary's pre March 2009 email contradicts her sworn statements
Conservative legal watchdogs have discovered new emails from Hillary Clinton's private email server....

The previously undisclosed February 2009 emails between Clinton from her then-chief of staff, Cheryl Mills. Clinton's presidential campaign has previously claimed that the former top diplomat did not use her personal "clintonemail.com" account before March 2009, weeks after she was sworn in as secretary of State.

But on Thursday, the watchdog group Judicial Watch released one message from Feb. 13, 2009, in which Mills communicated with Clinton on the account to discuss the National Security Agency's (NSA) efforts to produce a secure BlackBerry device for her to use as secretary of State.

The discovery is likely to renew questions about Clinton's narrative about her use of the private email server, which has come under scrutiny.Fitton, the Judicial Watch head, described Thursday's email as a repudiation of Clinton's timeline.

"So now we know that, contrary to her statement under oath suggesting otherwise, Hillary Clinton did not turn over all her government emails," he said in a statement. "We also know why Hillary Clinton falsely suggests she didn't use clintonemail.com account prior to March, 18, 2009 ‐ because she didn't want Americans to know about her February 13, 2009, email that shows that she knew her Blackberry and email use was not secure."
Hillary got away with false testimony under oath before in the matter of the Rose Law Firm billing files which she swore she didn't know about but obviously she did since they just appeared one day in the White House. Probably thinks she can get away again.

"Donald Trump has had several foreign wives. It turns out that there really are jobs Americans won’t do," Romney reportedly joked at the Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) GOP dinner on Tuesday night.

Two of Trump's three wives were from other countries. Ivana, Trump's first wife, was born in Czechoslovakia and Trump's current wife Melania is from Slovenia.

Trump's interest in traditional Eastern European gals (they tend to be traditional, but keep an eye on them) is a sign of intellect and good taste.

Romney on the other hand can probably count a half dozen "Elizabeth Smarts" in his brood, and probably knows a thousand others.

Yes, and he has proven over the past several months that he is very good at it. Rosie O'Donnell, Megan Kelly, Hillary Clinton all ended up wishing they hadn't picked fights with him. The latest is Ted Cruz who lost his temper yesterday in a most undignified manner after Trump compared his wife to Ted's in side by side photos. Ted and his wife both suffered badly from that comparison.
