-Lurid Crime Tales-
The 302 makes it more certain ‐ Hillary Clinton isn't fit to be president
[Wash Times] Last Friday was getaway day for a three-day holiday weekend as a Gulf hurricane was making landfall in Florida. So we had every right to expect a significant dump of controversial documents by the federal government while we were so distracted.

We were not disappointed. On Friday afternoon the FBI released a detailed report of its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state, including a summary of her interview with FBI agents (the so-called "302").

I have previously said that the real "sin" in the email/private server debacle was the "original sin." Once you set it up this way, it would inevitably break bad. No one needed to be stupid, weak or corrupt (to use a few of Donald Trump’s favorite words) for this to end up in a bad place.

The press of business, the pace of events, the demands of travel would lead to hasty decisions, sloppy composition and bad judgments. Things would show up in the emails that just shouldn't be there.

I know of no government official who would welcome an army of inspectors general combing through four years of emails on their unclassified accounts. That’s why they use government accounts, where the government remains responsible for security, and they don’t mingle personal correspondence with official. That’s also why anyone with experience in these matters would label the Clinton setup as downright inconceivable. And that was it as far as I was concerned. Really bad decision, predictable results the end.

#1  Her incessant lying about everything should be enough to disqualify her. She is criminal or incompetent and stupid--or both. The truth is the American people just can't trust her or anything she says. How can she be working for the American people and be qualified to be POTUS when her sole motivation is money? After Benghazi, does anyone think she has the nation's and the people's backs? She even claims that no one died in Libya--she can't even tell the truth about Benghazi.

#1  The person or persons who sent the emails is likely the one who had SIPR/JWICS access and removed the classification markings. If not, they probably have knowledge of who did remove the markings. I ask you, how fok'n much investigatory prowess is actually necessary for
discovery ?

Sadly this investigation has long since past the point of credibility. It is now little more than a sophomoric cover up.

#2  None-the-less, Comey says there is nothing to see here--no prosecutable case. However, many other attorneys say otherwise. The nexis of the corruption and the blockage at the DOJ is with Obama and Lynch. Everyone knows now that direction comes from the Clintons. A disconnect occurs for me because Comey says not a prosecutable case and yet there are many other documents that are yet to be released by the FBI and others such as Assange--He doesn't know what documents exist outside of the FBI. I guess he is between a rock and a hard place--it is hard to tell where he's at; honest cop in a tight spot or part of the larger problem.

#5  #3 Skidmark: or part of the larger problem. It's possible--he may be tainted by D.C. If there is a movie that comes out "Escape from Washington," let's see if he shows up in that movie or makes it out.

Comey most likely knew any recommendation for prosecution of Hillary to Lynch would go no where; he knew the fix was in. Otherwise, what Rambler said.

#7  Comey says not a prosecutable case
His boss said it's not a prosecutable case, so it isn't. He could have proceeded with it anyway and forced them to fire him, but the case would still not be prosecuted. Of course he COULD abuse the power of his position and gather lots of devastating data on Her Majesty, and blackmail her.... But then he might be overcome with remorse on a walk in Fort Marcy Park.

A Very Bad Poll for Hillary Clinton
h/t Instapundit

The frontrunner has outspent Trump almost 5-to-1 but still watched her lead evaporate.
Big bucks against the people's will? Or just "we can't vote for this mad old hag."?
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton ended last week in a downward spiral--and based on a new CNN/ORC poll, that isn’t likely to change soon.

The latest poll--and again, it’s the CNN poll, so it cannot be easily dismissed by Clinton backers as a right-wing outlier--finds that Clinton’s lead over GOP nominee Donald Trump has evaporated. Now Trump leads Clinton by 2 points (with a margin-of-error of 3.5 percentage points). Just a couple weeks ago, Clinton led Trump by 8 points and appeared to be pulling away--making November look like it might be a landslide for a woman whose actions have been investigated by the FBI.

#2  I believe there are still some good people in key places of the government. If Jeh Johnson is planning to have people throw the election to Hillary, it is important that at the least these people have a way to report what they see from inside to the outside world before the election.
Posted by: Crating Clunk2894 || 09/08/2016 7:47 Comments || Top||

#3  I've been pondering the mechanics of a preference cascade.

This may be the sign that voting for Trump is not the waste that it's been portrayed. People that hate Hillary may be starting to see that they're not alone.

It's still early and a lot of folk may not tell the truth to pollsters that they know are Demo shills.
Posted by: AlanC || 09/08/2016 8:24 Comments || Top||

#4  At this point, I want Trump to win if only so I can watch all the liberal Democrats heads explode. They are so convinced that he is unelectable and she is going to win in convincing fashion that the cognitive dissonance would reach historic proportions. If that's not fun to watch, I don't know what is.
Posted by: Eltoroverde || 09/08/2016 8:43 Comments || Top||

#5  The polls are rigged too. I'm thinking the vote is swinging more towards Trump than anyone wants to admit. Just look at the pre-election Brexit polls if anyone thinks polls can't be bought. Hang in there no matter what the polls say. Personally, I refuse to take part in polls. I think there are many others like me in that regard. Trump is doing the heavy lifting and showing up everywhere to talk to groups--he is a serious candidate and willing to work to be POTUS--seems to have the energy to do the job. In his travels he sees the rot that has been going on. He seems to have the honesty to do the job--something we haven't seen in a long, long time.

#6  To add to John's #5, take a look at who Trump has surrounded himself with, and the notables who support him. Pence, Giuliani, Sessions, Christie, Conway, Carson, Huckabee, General Mike Flynn, Bobby Knight, Pete Rose, Jon Voight, Ted Nugent, Sara Palin..... the list goes on.

I don't think he's a doctor. He's got USSS written all over him. The way he reacted at the speech when he told Wildebeest to keep talking by focusing on the crowd convinced me he's on her detail. I've seen doctors on details before and they are usually way in the back and don't jump up on stage.

Really ?? Did you at least compare the photos?? Not even close.

"He watches the Beest, not the crowd."

Not in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlHLYR6kX0k

He does EXACTLY what an agent would do. The way he places his hands on her is textbook. He continues to look at the crowd/threat area while preparing to cover/evacuate her. Doctors don't do that and the detail wouldn't let them.

Doctors don't give instructions to detail agents. I've been doing this for 20 years. He's a USSS agent. He might be trained EMT/paramedic which would not surprise me but he's an agent.

#16  The lapel pin, the badging, and the physical appearance of the black individual makes it clear to me he is a medical professional, not USSS, although clearly integrated into her detail. The YouTube video yesterday convinced me on the Parkinson's and his role and her increasing symptoms. Equally interesting was this morning's note of the earbud during the Commander-in-Chief
interview that provided her with answers and coaching. Masking the symptoms of her illness is increasingly difficult for them to do, but its too late to stop, for so many reasons, so they are trying to brazen it out. Watch the video:

Barbara, With or without the earbud, all she's done for 30 or more years is feed the crowds with bullshit.
Posted by: JohnQC || 09/08/2016 19:09 Comments || Top||

#23  Lapel pin - I wear one on every detail as does every USSS agent.
Badging - I assume you mean the neck chain ID badge. I have about 50 of them from different events.
Size - you because he's big and black? I personally know of 3 USSS agents that played or were drafted in the NFL. A bunch played D1 football.

Agents routinely carry medical devices/gear. I carry a tourniquet and a trauma bandage. Does that make me an ER doc?

Hillary bought her Blackberries off eBay
"While serving as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton bought her BlackBerrys off eBay -- since she preferred older models that the smartphone company had long retired -- a top Republican on Capitol Hill revealed.

"I don't want to get into this too much, but part of what was happening with the secretary of state was, she was acquiring technology that wasn't even supported by BlackBerry," House Oversight Chairman Rep. Jason Chaffetz told a forum in DC on Wednesday, according to the Washington Examiner.

"You couldn't buy it. She was actually buying this stuff off of eBay because somebody was selling their old machine. That's what she liked, so she did. It creates this huge vulnerability. And it’s unnecessary," Chaffetz added in an appearance at the American Enterprise Institute.

Chaffetz's remarks come a week after the FBI released notes from its interview of Clinton, part of its investigation into her private email server.

The FBI notes revealed Clinton had 13 BlackBerry devices over the course of her four years as America's top diplomat. Clinton frequently lost or misplaced her smartphone, the notes said. And Bill Clinton aide Justin Cooper destroyed two old devices with a hammer."

#1  So she acquired sensitive hardware from parties unknown.

What are the odds that any of these devices were subtly modified for spying at the hardware level and intentionally sold to the US Secretary of State?

Did the NSA check these devices? Did they verify that all custom chips were authentic, transistor for transistor?

Nuts!

And Bill Clinton aide Justin Cooper destroyed two old devices with a hammer.

Flash memory is very robust. He should have tossed the stuff into a furnace.

Nuts, too!

In Laos, Obama Repeatedly Calls Americans ‘Lazy’
[THEFEDERALIST] During a townhall meeting in Laos, President Barack Obama
If you like your coverage you can keep it...
called Americans "lazy" multiple times.

For one, Obama said Americans’ reluctance to embrace his favored environmental policies is a sign of laziness.

"Usually when you see the environment destroyed, it’s not because it’s necessary for development," Obama said. "It’s usually because we’re being lazy and we’re not being as creative as we could be about how to do it in a smarter, more sustainable way."

He also accused Americans of being isolated and ignorant because the United States is such a big country.

"The United States is and can be a great force for good in the world. But because we’re such a big country, we haven’t always had to know about other parts of the world," he said. "If you’re in the United States, sometimes you can feel lazy and think we’re so big we don’t have to really know anything about other people."

Agreed, 1000%.

In my opinion, much of the blame falls squarely on that portion of our population too lazy and gullible to realize-- or accept-- that the crap they watch every night on CNN/NBC/CBS/ABC/MSNBC is anything but crude Leftist propaganda concocted to con them into vote Democrat.

But a far larger share of the blame belongs to those doing the conning. They must go.
