N.Y. attorney general opens investigation of Trump Foundation
[Wash Times] The Democratic attorney general of New York who has opened investigations of climate fraud against oil companies picked a new target Tuesday -- Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said during an appearance on CNN on Tuesday afternoon that he was concerned that the Donald J. Trump Foundation was breaking laws and regulations related to charitable groups.

According to multiple news outlets shortly afterward, Mr. Schneiderman formally opened an investigation despite having declined to investigate the Clinton Foundation and having endorsed Mrs. Clinton for president.

"My interest in this issue really is in my capacity as regulator of nonprofits in New York state. And we have been concerned that the Trump Foundation may have engaged in some impropriety from that point of view," Mr. Schneiderman told CNN’s "The Lead" program Tuesday afternoon.
Did he hire the investigators and lawyers from Travis County, Texas, who indicted Rick Perry?
Mr. Schneiderman said that while his office "didn’t make a big deal out of it or hold a press conference," it already had looked into some of the claims against the Trump Foundation and had addressed concerns to the foundation. Correspondence posted by reporters indicate exchanges going back to June.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Carr: Some Quick, easy steps to tell if you’re a deplorable
[BOSTONHERALD] In case you’ve been wondering which side you’re on, you may be a deplorable if you stand for the National Anthem.

Or if you know all the words to the Pledge of Allegiance, especially, "under God."

Or if when you go to Market Basket, you tend to buy generic products, because you’re using your own money, not an EBT card.

You may be a deplorable if you just got your car inspected.

If you’re deployable, you’re definitely deplorable.

If you wake before noon, if you call Islamic forces of Evil Islamic terrorists, if you don’t have an Obamaphone and you don’t believe that global warming is "settled science" -- can you say deplorable?

You may be deplorable if your passport, driver’s license and credit cards are all in the same name.

Saying Merry Christmas -- Deplorable with a capital D!

You may be a deplorable if you wouldn’t mind showing some ID at the local precinct before you vote.

You are most assuredly a deplorable if you have more than one job.

You may be a deplorable if you’ve never used Western Union to wire welfare cash south of the border.

You may be a deplorable if all of your children have the same last name -- and it’s your last name.

Or if while watching the second Monday night NFL game you were less irritated by the streaker than you were by all the fawning coverage of Colin Kaepernick on the pre-game show.

You may be a deplorable if you resent training your H1-B replacement.

Or the fact that the Earned Income Tax Credit is NOT earned.

Nothing says deplorable like the National Rifle Association.

If you liked your doctor and wanted to keep your doctor, if you wear pants rather than pajamas when you leave the house, if you were passed over for the job even though you got a 95 on the civil-service test -- you know what you are.

You may be a deplorable if you don’t think you should have to press one for English.

If you lost your security clearance and your job for mishandling classified information, you are deplorable.

You may be a deplorable if you identify as a member of the gender in which you were born.

Or if you drained your 401(k) or took out a second mortgage on your house to pay for your kid’s tuition at UMass while the illegal alien down the hall goes on the arm.

Or if you believe that good fences make good neighbors.

You’re most definitely a deplorable if you have an American flag flying in your front yard.

Or if you’ve never windsurfed with John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry
Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State...
on Nantucket, or stood in line with Sen. Warren at your local "cheese shop."

You are a deplorable if you believe All Lives Matter.

If you’ve never needed a "safe space," or heeded a "trigger warning" -- deplorable.

#1  A message (copied from an email) for you readers who are 65 years of age, or older.

"I used to think I was just a regular guy, but…

I was born white, which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a racist.

I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today’s standards, makes me a fascist.

I am heterosexual, which according to gay folks, now makes me a homophobe.

I am non-union, which makes me a traitor to the working class and an all of big business.

I am a Christian, which now labels me as an infidel.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which now makes me a member of the vast gun lobby.

I am older than 70 and retired, which makes me a useless old man.

I think and I reason, therefore I doubt much that the main stream media tells me, which must make me a reactionary.

I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, which makes a xenophobe.

I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist.

I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I (and most of the folks I know), acquired a fair education without student loans (it's called work) and no debt at graduation, which makes me some kind of an odd underachiever.

I believe in the defense and protection of the homeland for and by all citizens, which now makes me a militant.

Please help me come to terms with the new me… because I am just not sure who I am any more!

I would like to thank all my friends for sticking with me through these abrupt, new found changes in my life and my thinking! I just can’t imagine or understand what’s happen to me so quickly! Funny…it’s all just taken place over the last 7 or 8 years! if all this crap wasn’t enough to deal with…I’m now afraid to go into either restroom,"

Pelosi reins in Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee and BDS movement
[Free Beacon] A congressionally sponsored event to promote boycotts of Israel was cancelled late Tuesday evening after House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) was informed about the forum and made an impromptu phone call to the lawmaker sponsoring the event, ordering that it be shut down, according to sources familiar with the matter who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon.

The Free Beacon disclosed earlier this week that a member of Congress had lent their backing to an event aimed at promoting the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement, or BDS, which has been widely cited as an anti-Semitic effort.

The group hosting the forum, the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, is known for employing anti-Israel and anti-Semitic language, according to human rights organizations.

The U.S. Campaign was reported to have convinced a low-level staffer in Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee's (D., Texas) office to reserve an official congressional room for the event.

Last Chance for the ‘Deplorables’
by Patrick J. Buchanan
Former Reform Party candidate for president. He lost. Before that I think he was a paleo-Republican.
[TAKIMAG] Speaking to 1,000 of the overprivileged at an LGBT fundraiser, where the chairs ponied up $250,000 each and Barbra Streisand sang, Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as the Smartest Woman in the World and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Edward Stettinius, Jr. ...
gave New York’s social liberals what they came to hear.

"You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?" smirked Clinton to cheers and laughter. "The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it." They are "irredeemable," but they are "not America."

This was no verbal slip. Clinton had invited the press in to cover the LGBT gala at Cipriani Wall Street where the cheap seats went for $1,200. And she had tried out her new lines earlier on Israeli TV:

"You can take Trump supporters and put them in two baskets." First there are "the deplorables, the racists, and the haters, and the people who ... think somehow he’s going to restore an America that no longer exists. So, just eliminate them from your thinking..."

And who might be in the other basket backing Donald Trump?

They are people, said Clinton, "who feel that the government has let them down, the economy has let them down, nobody cares about them. ... These are people we have to understand and empathize with."

In short, Trump’s support consists of one-half xenophobes, bigots and racists, and one-half losers we should pity.

And she is running on the slogan "Stronger Together."

Her remarks echo those of Barack Obama
If you have a small business, you didn't build that...
in 2008 to the Socialist paradise of San Francisco
...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964...
fat cats puzzled about those strange Pennsylvanians.

They are "bitter," said Obama, they "cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustration."

In short, Pennsylvania is a backwater of alienated Bible-banging gun nuts and bigots suspicious of outsiders and foreigners.

But who really are these folks our new class detests, sneers at and pities? As African-Americans are 90 percent behind Clinton, it is not black folks. Nor is it Hispanics, who are solidly in the Clinton camp.

Nor would Clinton tolerate such slurs directed at Third World immigrants colonists who are making America better by making us more diverse than that old "America that no longer exists."

No, the folks Obama and Clinton detest, disparage, and pity are the white working- and middle-class folks Richard Nixon celebrated as Middle Americans and the Silent Majority.

They are the folks who brought America through the Depression, won World War II, and carried us through the Cold War from Truman in 1945 to victory with Ronald Reagan in 1989.

These are the Trump supporters. They reside mostly in red states like West Virginia, Kentucky and Middle Pennsylvania, and Southern, Plains and Mountain states that have provided a disproportionate share of the soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who fought and died to guarantee the freedom of plutocratic LGBT lovers to laugh at and mock them at $2,400-a-plate dinners.

Nobody wants Hillary Clinton's new book
[THEWEEK] Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as For a good time at 3 a.m. call Hillary and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Charles Evans Hughes ...
's newest book is a certifiable flop by the publishing industry's standards, The New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...
reports. Stronger Together sold only 2,912 copies in its first week of sales according to Nielsen BookScan, which charts about 80 percent of nationwide physical book sales. By comparison, Clinton's 2014 memoir Hard Choices, which also didn't meet expectations, sold over 85,000 copies in its first week, and Clinton's 2003 memoir, Living History, sold six times as many copies as Hard Choices.

Stronger Together is co-authored by Clinton's running mate, Tim Kaine, and "presents [their] agenda in full, relating stories from the American people and outlining the Clinton/Kaine campaign's plans on everything from apprenticeships to the Zika virus," the Amazon description says. One Amazon reviewer remarked that Stronger Together was "far more interesting than I'd thought this book would be," giving it five stars. Most negative reviews were about the candidate, and not the book itself.

To promote the book, Clinton will "do a series of Stronger Together speeches over the course of the next several weeks," said campaign front man Jennifer Palmieri.

Colin Powell Bombs Bill, Hillary, and Trump
[THEDAILYBEAST] You’ve never heard Colin Powell talk like this.

The former secretary of state and four-star Army general who has been in the national spotlight since he was Ronald Reagan’s national security advisor let loose on Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as The Heroine of Tuzla and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another William H. Seward ...
("greedy, not transformational"), her husband Bill (still "dicking bimbos"), and Donald Trump (a "national disgrace").

The frank, biting version of Powell made public is thanks to private emails that appeared on dcleaks.com, a mysterious repository for hacked information suspected to be of Russian origin. Powell’s office confirmed to The New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...
that the emails were genuine.

His criticism of Hillary Clinton, for example, reflects a skepticism that you would respect from a man who served in a Republican administration.

"Everything HRC touches she kind of screws up with hubris," he wrote in one email.

Powell’s negative appraisal was also tempered by his personal relationship with the Democratic presidential nominee, whom he got to know when he served as Bill Clinton
...former Democratic president of the U.S. Bill was the second U.S. president to be impeached, the first to deny that oral sex was sex, the first to have difficulty with the definition of is...
’s chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and later when she served as his successor at the State Department.

"I would rather not have to vote for her," Powell wrote in 2014, "although she is a friend I respect."
Both friend and respect appear to have unique personal definitions for the good general (ret'd).
Powell’s assessment was that Clinton had a track record of "unbridled ambition."
Possibly he wrote that with admiration...
The leaked emails also reveal Powell’s attempts to avoid being blamed for Hillary Clinton’s controversial email server setup. In recent days Democrats have been trying to take the heat off Clinton’s arrangement by releasing an email showing Powell giving her advice on how to use email.

"Sad thing... HRC could have killed this two years ago by merely telling everyone honestly what she had done and not tie me into it," Powell wrote in one email last month. "I told her staff three times not to try that gambit. I had to throw a mini tantrum at a Hamptons party to get their attention."

Powell also had a harsh judgment of Bill Clinton, who he served under, as someone "still dicking bimbos at home." Powell had served as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under the George H.W. Bush administration, and continued in that position for less than a year under Clinton’s administration.

It’s no surprise Powell doesn’t like Trump, but he’s kept that opinion to himself. In emails though, he was absolutely blistering about the Republican presidential nominee.

"He is at 1% black voters and will drop," Powell wrote, citing the birther campaign Trump ran as a major reason. "He takes us for idiots."

Of the birther movement, which Trump promoted, he expressed consternation that President Barack Obama
I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money...
was born a "secret Moslem."

"As I have said before, ’What if he was?’ Moslems are born as Americans everyday," Powell said, adding that he thought "the whole birther movement was racist."

#4  MY Military Commanders keep their Loyality to the cause and that has NEVER been the piece of shit democrat party which always gets US IN a war, will neither let US win a war or fund it to fruition. And the global costs are staggering.

He is a playfool in the circuit. Caring about troops is ensuring they are not needed again.

The Democrat party is EVIL, EVIL, EVIL. And he has no idea what he is doing. He is as dumb as a private with stars in his eyes when he votes for people like Obama.

So FUCK HIM.

No Loyalty there.

#5  "As I have said before, ’What if he was?’ Moslems are born as Americans everyday," Powell said

Because, like Hillary's health, it would change a lot of votes.

What he is saying is people don't have the right to choose which individuals represents them. Only the party has that right. Which is unfortunately the case in most of the world.

#6  Actually, this does have useful info. A careerist like Powell would never attack Hillary if he felt there was a chance she'll be next POTUS.

#7  Not surprising, the media jackels completely glossed over Powell's comments about Bubba. Can you imagine if Ivanka (whatever her name is) was suspected of sleeping around? But for Clinton Inc it's just a snicker and move on.

#8  "He is at 1% black voters and will drop," Powell wrote, citing the birther campaign Trump ran as a major reason. "He takes us for idiots."

Should read: "He is at 12% and rising... He takes me for an idiot."

#9  And yet, Powell said he respects Hillary. Go figure--there's a mixed message of an acceptance of immorality.

#11  I think Powell was close to running in 2000 and his wife counseling him not to for fear of being assassinated (being the first black President and all). He listened and Obama got that title. The US was ready for a black President after all.

Too bad as Powell despite all his faults would have been far better than Obama.

When the General decided not to run for President he should have faded into the Sunset.

Arpaio may have new foe: George Soros
[AZFAMILY] Joe Arpaio, the self-proclaimed toughest sheriff in America who could face criminal charges for ignoring a judge's order to stop targeting Latinos in anti-immigration roundups, may now have a new foe as he seeks re-election - George Soros, the billionaire liberal hedge fund tycoon.

The Republican sheriff already was battered politically and support for him had been slipping when a group linked to Soros mounted an anti-Arpaio attack in an attempt to weaken his bid for a seventh straight term.

The group started sending fliers to Phoenix-area voters two weeks ago, and a mailing last week accuses Arpaio of separating a mother from her child because of an unpaid traffic ticket, botching hundreds of sex crimes investigations and scaring immigrants colonists so much that that they don't report crime.

Arpaio denies the claims and is easily capable of striking back with a formidable $2.9 million still available for campaign spending ahead of the Nov. 8 vote, dwarfing the total $326,000 raised by his challenger, Democrat Paul Penzone, a former Phoenix police sergeant who lost to Arpaio by 6 percentage points in 2012.

But the entry of a Soros-linked group is a gift for Penzone, who acknowledges he'll never come close to matching Arpaio's campaign spending.

Over the last year, Soros contributed $3.9 million to Democrats in law enforcement political races in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,...
, St. Louis, Orlando, Houston, Albuquerque, Lowndes County in Mississippi and Caddo Gay Pareeh in Louisiana, according to campaign finance records.

Of the seven district attorney candidates Soros-linked groups have backed, two have already been elected and four won primaries. Only one lost.

David Brock paid former partner $850G 'blackmail' settlement
Media Matters chief David Brock paid a former domestic partner $850,000 after being threatened with damaging information involving the organization’s donors and the IRS – a deal that Brock later characterized as a blackmail payment, according to legal documents obtained by FoxNews.com.

In an acrimonious lawsuit settled at the end of last year, Brock accused William Grey of making repeated threats to expose him to the "scorn or ridicule of his employees, donors and the press in demanding money and property." Brock claimed in legal papers that he sold a Rehoboth Beach, Del., home he once shared with Grey in order to meet Grey’s demands, which he called "blackmail" in the lawsuit.

Brock, 49, heads the non-profit Media Matters for America, which bills itself as a watchdog of the conservative media but has recently come under fire for allegedly coordinating with Democrats in what could be a violation of its tax-exempt status.

Brock’s bitter legal battle with Grey, who is described in a Sept. 14, 2010, police report obtained by FoxNews.com as his domestic partner of more than 10 years, began after Brock began dating Washington, D.C., restaurant impresario James Alefantis about five years ago. For the next three years, Brock and Grey traded angry accusations, which were documented in the police report and were the foundation of a pitched legal battle replete with charges of blackmail, theft and financial malfeasance.

Alefantis was also named as a defendant in Grey's lawsuit.

In his response to Brock's lawsuit, Grey "denies that he committed any "acts of blackmail.""

Grey threatened to go public about Brock and Media Matters' finances after he accused Brock in a civil suit filed in Washington of taking $170,000 in possessions, including an $8,000 Louis Vuitton suit bag, paintings, a rug, a chandelier, a painted bust of a Roman soldier and a pair of carved wooden chairs upholstered with purple fabric. Those possessions were displayed in the Washington townhouse where the couple entertained liberal movers and shakers in happier times.

Brock took Grey’s threats seriously and called police in 2010. In the police report, filed by Metropolitan Police as a stalking incident, Brock accused Grey, also 49, of attempting to blackmail him with a series of emails threatening to "release specific derogatory information about [Brock] and his organization to the press and donors that would be embarrassing to him and cause harm to the organization …"

Some of those emails came out as the lawsuit, filed by Grey on Jan. 28, 2011, wound its way through Superior Court of the District of Columbia last year.

14 Medal of Honor Recipients Endorse Donald Trump
Not because Medal of Honor recipients are in any way seedy, but that's where we're putting everything election unless is specifically relates to the War on Terror.
[Fox] 14 Medal of Honor recipients publicly backed Donald Trump’s presidential bid this week, just days after Trump received the endorsement of 88 retired military figures.

U.S. Army Major General Patrick Henry Brady (Ret.), who received the Medal of Honor for his heroic service during the Vietnam War, appeared on "Fox and Friends" this morning to explain why he's backing Trump

"This man has throughout his entire life exhibited extraordinary leadership abilities," Brady said.

He added that he's also been impressed by the Republican nominee's focus on the U.S. military and taking care of veterans.

"Our security is tied to our military readiness, which is in shambles," Brady said. "And this man has vowed to renew, invigorate our readiness and help secure America as it should be secured."

He said that military people understand leadership, and that's why he was proud to put his name alongside 13 of his fellow Medal of Honor recipients.

Government
Feds to make a ruling over politicking on the Web
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] A political action committee is looking to figure out whether it can safely use the Internet to support national political candidates, or whether the Federal Election Commission might seize the opportunity to impose the kind of regulations Democrats have been striving to attain.

The request for an advisory opinion, filed on behalf of Citizen Super PAC, asks the FEC whether it would be permissible to email supporters of a candidate's campaign, or whether that would cross a line prohibiting coordination with candidates.

"If a PAC mails out 1,000 letters soliciting funds for a candidate to its mailing list, then the cost of those mailers constitute either an independent expenditure or an in-kind contribution to the candidate if the letter was sent in coordination between the PAC and the candidate," explained Chris Gober, a co-founder of the PAC.

Stay abreast of the latest developments from nation's capital and beyond with curated News Alerts from the Washington Examiner news desk and delivered to your inbox.

"In contrast, if the same PAC sends 100,000 emails to their own email list soliciting funds for the same candidate, then neither the cost of that email nor the utilization of the email list is treated as an independent expenditure or an in-kind contribution to the candidate."

Super PACs, named for their ability to accept unlimited funds and make unlimited expenditures to influence federal races, have a limited ability to work with candidates in the real world, Gober pointed out. Candidates can speak at fundraisers for the organizations, and they can solicit contributions for the PACs up to $5,000.

Citizen Super PAC is charting new territory in the digital frontier. The organization allows users to set up pages on its website to raise funds for candidates that users support, in what it calls an effort to "democratize" political spending and "increase participation in the political marketplace."

Gober is seeking to take that initiative to the next level by asking candidates for their email lists, beginning with Nevada Republican Rep. Joe Heck, for whom a user recently established a page. If a fundraising target for Heck of $10,000 is met as a result of that collaboration, Gober will try to figure out whether the organization can safely spend that money on Facebook ads in support of his re-election campaign.

"The ad supporting Rep. Heck happens to be the first one around the time the advisory opinion request was ready to be submitted," Gober said, adding the PAC "hopes to launch additional projects in the near future that will be implicated" by the FEC's response.

FEC commissioners have battled with each other for the past several years over whether campaign finance regulations should extend to content on the Internet. Democrats have advocated for expanding the agency's power, arguing that social networking websites such as Twitter and new media outlets like the Drudge Report are wielding undue influence.
