[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least six bully boyz were killed or maimed in an kaboom triggered by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in southeastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) says the incident has taken place in the vicinity of Andar district of Ghazni.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said the key Taliban leaders were killed late on Sunday night in the vicinity of Dawlat Shah district.
The statement further added that the murderous Moslems killed during the ambush have been identified as Mawlavi Janat Gul, Qari Zabiullah, Qari Matiullah, and Mullah Mohammad Nabi.
According to MoI, another Taliban group leader identified as Mullah Mahmood sustained injuries during the operation.
The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces did not suffer any casualty during the operation, MoI added in its statement.

[Libya Observer] Afriqiyah Airways canceled a flight on Sunday night scheduled to fly from Benina Airport in Benghazi to Tunisia after the pilot in command was attacked by a militiaman.
Local sources said that an argument broke out between the pilot and one of the security forces of the airport after the latter attempted to board people with forged bookings to the plane, which then turned into a violent clash.
The incident caused resentment and rage among the passengers who decided not to leave the plane and stayed there for several hours without proper ventilation until some of them suffered shortness of breath, especially the ill and elderly.
The passengers then returned to the airport lounge and waited for their plane to take off, but to no avail.
Benina International Airport is experiencing a state of chaos, where even passengers with confirmed travel bookings could not get a seat because of the tampering going on with the boarding passes by airport holy warriors who are selling them to people with no reservations.

[Libya Observer] Derna in eastern Libya has been the scene for fierce festivities since Sunday between Derna Protection Force and the self-styled army forces led by Khalifa Haftar ...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all... .
Eyewitnesses said festivities renewed in Wasit al-Blad neighborhood, where Derna Protection Force fighters are still in control as Haftar's forces continue to encircle them.
They also said artillery shells were heard all over the city.
Meanwhile, ...back at the pound, the little lost dog backed into the corner and showed its teeth. And what big teeth they were!... Brigade 303 of Haftar's forces said it was targeting "terrorists" in the neighborhood, saying fighting grew intense since Monday morning as it advanced to end the presence of Derna Protection Force.
Pro-Haftar social media pages posted footage showing tanks shelling Wasit al-Blad neighborhood (Old Town) while some said that houses of displaced families were robbed by Haftar-Loyal forces.
Videos posted in the past days showed the destruction in Derna due to artillery shelling by Haftar's forces.
Haftar's forces announced last May a military operation to "Liberate Derna" from Derna Protection Force, which drove ISIS out three years ago, and then they declared victory in July, despite recurrent fighting and continued displacement ever since.

[AlArabiya] The Yemeni army announced the death of the Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ... leader, Hussein Yahya Ksheima, with more than 40 militias.
The army said that the coalition’s strike was able to target them in the West Coast Front in Hodeidah district.
Military sources said that Ksheima is considered one of Iran’s major frontline leaders, and that he was an expert in planting mines and bombs.
The Houthi leader also received military training in Leb and Iran in the years 2011 and 2012.
[DAWN] A German court said Monday it gave the green light for a Iranian diplomat linked to an alleged bomb plot against an Iranian opposition rally to be handed over to Belgium.
The superior regional court in Bamberg said in a statement that it had on September 27 approved the extradition of the Iranian diplomat based in Vienna who has been named as Assadollah Assadi.
"The wanted man cannot cite diplomatic immunity because he was on a several day holiday trip outside his host state Austria and not travelling between his host country and the state that dispatched him," the court said.

A court in the Aegean city of Izmir sentenced Kutbettin Gulen, who was first detained in October 2016, to 10 years and six months in jail, the state-run Anadolu news agency said.
He had been charged with "membership of an armed terror group".
Kutbettin Gulen, who is held in jail in the nearby region of Denizli, did not take part in the hearing in person but his lawyer was present, Anadolu said.
Fethullah Gulen, a former Erdogan ally who has lived in self-imposed exile in the United States since 1999, has denied orchestrating the July 15, 2016 coup plot that saw 250 killed, not including the plotters.
Gulen's supporters ridicule the description of his group by the Ottoman Turkish authorities as the Fethullah Terror Organisation (FETO), saying he merely runs a peaceful organization called Hizmet (Service).
But Ankara wants Gulen extradited from the United States and has expressed impatience over Washington's failure to hand him over, with the issue a major bone of contention in Turkey-US ties.
According to previous Ottoman Turkish media reports, Gulen has three living brothers, Mesih, Salih and Kutbettin, as well as two who are dead, Seyfullah and Hasbi. He also has two sisters, Nurhayat and Fazilet. Their current whereabouts are not known.

Dozens of Paleostinians were reportedly injured on Monday evening in fresh festivities with IDF troops along the Gazoo Strip’s northern border with Israel.
The Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gazoo said 51 people were maimed by Israeli troops during the protests, including 10 from live fire, according to reports in Paleostinian media.
Israel’s Channel 10 said 4,000 Gazooks demonstrated along the northern border with Israel, with protesters burning tires and hurling rocks, Molotov cocktails, and firecrackers at soldiers.
The protests also saw a several-boat flotilla attempt to break Israel’s naval blockade off Gazoo’s coast, in what has become a common occurrence in recent weeks. Paleostinian media reported the IDF fired warning shots at the boats, prompting them to return to shore.
Earlier on Monday, firefighters worked to extinguish four blazes adjacent to Israeli communities, which were sparked by airborne incendiary devices launched by protesters inside the Gazoo Strip.
The latest violence comes in the wake of heavy festivities on Friday in which seven Paleostinians, including two teenagers, were reported killed.
The riots have increased in recent weeks, going from a weekly event to near nightly protests since Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, halted indirect talks with Israel aimed at a ceasefire. The humanitarian crisis in Gazoo has also worsened and reconciliation talks with the Paleostinian Authority have broken down.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Ottoman Turkish-backed rebels and jihadists clashed inside the Idlib buffer zone last night, local activists reported via social media.
According to the reports, the Ottoman Turkish-backed National Liberation Front (NLF) and jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham clashed in southern Idlib, with both sides trading attacks on one another’s checkpoints.
The festivities reportedly died down this morning and clam has been restored to the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.
The reason for these festivities is unknown; however, in the past, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel groups that make up the NLF, primarily Harakat Nouriddeen al-Zinki and Harakat Ahrar al-Sham ...a Syria jihadi group made up of Islamists and salafists, not that there's that much difference, formed into a brigade. They make up the main element of the Islamic Front but they don't profess adoration of al-Qaeda and they've been fighting (mainly for survival) against the Islamic State. Their leadership was wiped out at a single blow by a suicide kaboom at a crowded basement meeting in September, 2014... , clashed with one another on several occasions last year.
The two groups ultimately halted their hostilities once the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) East Ghouta operations began earlier this Summer.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their field operations inside the al-Safa region of southern Syria this morning, a military source in Sweida told al-Masdar News.
Led by their 3rd Corps and 10th Division, the Syrian Arab Army began their assault by storming the al-Safa region from three different axes.
According to the military source, the Syrian Arab Army’s first major advance took place at the Qabr Sheikh Hussein area, where the latter managed to liberate a number of Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) trenches.
The Syrian Arab Army would then advance at the southwestern axis of the al-Safa region after cracking the Islamic State’s lines and liberating a number of water swamps and caves.
The military source added that during today’s attack, the Syrian Arab Army killed more than ten Islamic State terrorists, including three snipers that previously wrecked havoc on the government forces.
The Syrian Arab Army was able to make this big advance without any air support from the Russian Aerospace Forces.
Much of the missiles strikes that were carried out against the Islamic State came from the Syrian Arab Army’s special forces in rural Sweida.
The Syrian Army is now working to seize all of the Qabr Sheikh Hussein and al-Habariyah areas, which are believed to be the Islamic State’s last strongholds in Sweida.

[PRESSTV] Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) strikes the gatherings of the ringleaders of the recent terror attack in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz with several surface-to-surface ballistic missiles in an area east of the Euphrates in Syria.
The IRGC’s Sepah News outlet announced the development, citing a statement by the Corps’ Public Relations Directorate-General.

At least 25 people are killed and at least 60 others injured after button men attack a military parade in Iran’s southern city of Ahvaz.

The Monday retaliatory attack came four days after IRGC Deputy Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami warned Riyadh and Abu Dhabi against interfering in Tehran's domestic affairs or face retaliation.
