Afghanistan
Taliban militants, civilians suffer heavy casualties in a premature car bomb explosion
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least nineteen, people including Talibs and ordinary civilians, were killed or maimed in a premature boom-mobile kaboom in northern Faryab province of Afghanistan.

The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North in a statement said the incident has taken place in the vicinity of Khwaja Namosi Bazar, leaving at least ten murderous Moslems and five civilians dead.

The statement further added that the Talibs were looking to detonate the boom-mobile in Maimana city to target security forces or the electoral campaigns.

However,
facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable...
the 209th Shaheen Corps said the boom-mobile went prematurely as the murderous Moslems were transporting it to the city, leaving ten murderous Moslems dead and four others maimed.

According to the 209th Shaheen Corps, at least five civilians also bit the dust in the kaboom.

Africa Subsaharan
Central African Republic - Rebels Executing Civilians
[All Africa] Seleka
...a 'mainly' Moslem rebel force in the Central African Republic that overthrew the govt, imposed a regime of rapine and looting on the country's non-Moslem population, and was then tossed by France. They still exist, getting funding and weapons from somewhere or other, licking their wounds, complaining about the oppression of Moslems, and occasionally raping and looting someone...
rebels in the Central African Republic captured and executed at least nine civilians, including seven women, on September 6, 2018, Human Rights Watch said today. The executions around the town of Bria in the Haute-Kotto province came almost two weeks after the same group killed 11 civilians after a clash with a rival militia.

"These executions and killings are brazen war crimes by fighters who feel free to kill at will, despite the presence of United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
peacekeepers," said Lewis Mudge, a senior Africa researcher at Human Rights Watch. "The peacekeepers are allowed to use force to protect civilians, and should seek to anticipate these attacks and to intervene early."

Rebels from the Popular Front for the Renaissance in the Central African Republic (Front Populaire pour la Renaissance de la Centrafrique, FPRC), captured and executed the nine civilians, who had been working or going to their fields outside a displaced people's camp. The same group killed at least 11 civilians fleeing the town's Borno neighborhood, three kilometers from the camp, on August 25 after fighting between the FPRC and anti-balaka militia. Human Rights Watch found evidence that the group killed at least four more civilians around Bria on September 16.

Human Rights Watch also found evidence that anti-balaka groups killed at least eight civilians in the area since June. Tensions have increased between the two groups since 2017, with unlawful killings by both. Both groups deny attacking civilians.

The FPRC, drawn from the predominately Moslem Seleka group that briefly took power in the country in 2013, control most of Bria. Though previously aligned with anti-balaka against another group, it has fought anti-balaka in the region since mid-2017. The anti-balaka emerged in 2013, largely from existing self-defense groups to resist Seleka abuses, and have committed serious abuses against civilians, particularly Moslems, across the country. They attack civilians in the forests and fields outside Bria, on the Irabanda road, but some fighters also stay in the "PK3" displacement camp in Bria.

Fighting since May 2017 has forced tens of thousands of civilians to flee their homes. More than 50,000 now live at the "PK3" camp. Camp leaders confirmed that anti-balaka base themselves at "PK3" for short periods.

Yemen’s army advances in Saada, launches coordinated attacks on Houthis
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Yemeni army backed by the Arab coalition, continues advancing in several districts of the governorate of Saada, taking control of new posts which were under the control of the pro-Iranian Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
militia, particularly in the districts of Zaher, Baqim and Kataf.

Military sources confirmed to Al Arabiya news channel that the Yemeni army launched a successful attack on a post controlled by the Houthis in the directorate of Zaher, killing more than nine members of the militia, while others managed to escape.

In Baqim district, the Yemeni army launched coordinated attacks, allowing its forces to advance to the center of the district, following support from coalition aircraft that destroyed reinforcements of the Houthis in the area.

The Yemeni national army continues its combing operations in Kataf district searching for mines planted by Houthis. The army dismantled in the last two days more than 300 mines.

Donald Trump Celebrates Release of Pastor Andrew Brunson
[BREITBART] President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
announced that Ottoman Turkish officials freed Pastor Andrew Brunson on Friday, another diplomatic win for the administration.

"PASTOR BRUNSON JUST RELEASED," Trump wrote on Twitter. "WILL BE HOME SOON!"

The president also offered "thoughts and prayers" for the pastor as he prepares to return home after two years in a Ottoman Turkish prison.

Trump took a special interest in Brunson’s case after Ottoman Turkish officials imprisoned him for what the president described as "phony charges" of spying.

"Pastor Andrew Brunson, a fine gentleman and Christian leader in the United States, is on trial and being persecuted in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire....
for no reason," Trump wrote in April. "They call him a Spy, but I am more a Spy than he is."

India-Pakistan
Indian troops kill key Kashmiri fighter in Handwara siege
[DAWN] A Kashmiri scholar-turned fighter and his colleague were killed on Thursday in a gunbattle with Indian troops, police and residents said, sparking violent anti-India protests by residents in the disputed region.

The incident could spark more unrest in a region that in recent years has witnessed renewed attacks and public resistance against Indian rule.

Indian troops laid siege to a village in northwestern Handwara area on a tip that armed Kashmiris were hiding there, police said. As counterinsurgency police and soldiers launched a search operation, a shootout erupted in which two Kashmiris were killed.

Authorities shut down internet service on mobile phones and ordered the closure of schools in several places in the region fearing student protests.

Anti-India protests and festivities erupted as the fighting raged, with hundreds of residents trying to march to the site in solidarity with the Kashmiris. Government forces fired warning shots, shotgun pellets and tear gas at the stone-throwing protesters, injuring at least four people.

The gunbattle ended later on Thursday morning and soldiers immediately recovered the bodies of the two Kashmiris, but authorities withheld their identities for several hours, a common practice to give police and soldiers time to deploy at key positions to counter possible anti-India protests and festivities.

Muneer Khan, a police brass hat, said one of the slain was identified by his parents as top krazed killer leader Manan Wani, the newspaper Greater Kashmire reported.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Israel Captures Palestinian Knife Attack Suspect
[An Nahar] Israeli forces detained a Paleostinian suspected of stabbing and wounding a soldier but a manhunt continued for a second Paleostinian who rubbed out two Israeli civilians, the army said Friday.

The army front man's office released video it said had been taken late on Thursday showing a cuffed and blindfolded man being led by soldiers in what appears to be a military facility.

"A short while ago, the terrorist who committed the terror attack... this afternoon was caught," regional commander Colonel Sagiv Dahan said in the Hebrew-language clip.

An army front man told AFP that details of the suspect and his arrest were being withheld for the time being as his interrogation was still in progress.

He is suspected of stabbing and wounding an army reservist on guard at a junction near the northern West Bank city of Nablus on Thursday afternoon.

A civilian was moderately maimed from shrapnel when soldiers fired in the direction of the fleeing assailant, the army said.

The runaway who remains on the run is suspected of killing two Israelis and wounding a third in a shooting on Sunday in the Israeli-owned industrial zone where they all worked near the northern West Bank Jewish settlement of Barkan.

"Activity continues to catch the terrorist who carried out the shooting attack at Barkan," an army statement said in Hebrew.

The army has named the wanted man as Ashraf Naalwa, 23, from the northern West Bank village of Shuweika.

The two attack sites and Shuweika village all lie within a 32 kilometre (20 mile) radius but so far there has been no indication of any connection.

Six Palestinians Killed in Clashes on Israel Border
[An Nahar] Six Paleostinians were killed in new festivities along the Gazoo-Israel border on Friday, the health ministry in the Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",-run enclave said.

The Israeli army said five were rubbed out after breaking through the border fence and attacking an army post.

A front man for the Paleostinian health ministry said six Paleostinian men were killed as thousands of protesters approached the heavily-guarded Israeli border.

Four died along the frontier east of al-Bureij in central Gazoo, one east of Gazoo City and one near Rafah in southern Gazoo, the front man said, adding that all the victims were men aged between 17 and 29.

Israeli army front man Jonathan Conricus said on Twitter an "organized attack" had involved around 20 Paleostinians crossing the border after an bomb destroyed a portion of the fence.

Five then tried to attack an army base and were shot, he said.

The army said approximately 14,000 "rioters and demonstrators" took part in Friday's protests.

Israel Orders Immediate Halt to Gaza Fuel Deliveries
[An Nahar] Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Friday ordered an "immediate" halt to deliveries of fuel to the Gaza Strip after violent clashes with Palestinians on the Gaza-Israel border.

"Following the serious incidents in the Gaza Strip, the defense ministry orders the immediate halt to the delivery of fuel" to the area, he said in a statement, only days after a U.N.-brokered deal to supply the territory with Qatari-bought fuel came into effect.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Thirty-two Syrians rescued at sea off Lebanon, attempting to reach Cyprus
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Lebanese navy and a UN force have rescued 32 Syrian refugees whose boat broke down as they attempted to reach Cyprus, the navy said Friday.

The United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
peacekeeping force in Leb, UNIFIL, said it found the craft on Thursday morning after receiving reports of a missing boat.

The "small white boat", carrying 19 men, six women and seven children, was stranded at sea northwest of Beirut, it said.

"The boat was out of fuel and the passengers had been without food and water for four days," it said in a statement.

It said Lebanese navy vessels arrived and transported the passengers to Beirut on Thursday night.

The Lebanese military said 32 Syrians and a Lebanese citizen were aboard the craft, and were attempting to reach the eastern Mediterranean island "illegally".

The United Nations’ refugee agency (UNHCR) has registered nearly one million Syrian refugees in Leb.

Humanitarian representatives and government officials say the number is likely much higher, since many Syrians who have fled to Leb are not officially registered with the United Nations.

In September, EU member Cyprus announced it was looking to broker a repatriation agreement with Beirut because of an increased influx of migrants colonists from Leb.

Cyprus Interior Minister Constantinos Petrides said his country faces one of the largest migratory flows per capita, with 4,022 asylum requests in the first eight months of 2018 -- 55 percent more than in the same period last year.

No withdrawal for jihadists in northern Latakia as they fortify front-lines
[ALMASDARNEWS] It doesn’t look like the jihadist rebels in northern Latakia are planning on adhering to the new buffer zone agreement, as they were spotted raising new trenches near the Syrian Arab Army’s front-lines.

Based on new footage obtained by the Sputnik News Agency, the jihadist rebels of the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) raised new trenches around the key town of Kabbani, which is supposed to be a part of the new buffer zone agreement that was established in Sochi on September 17th.

This move by the Turkestan Islamic Party indicates that they have no intent on withdrawing from the area, despite repeated threats from both the Ottoman Turkish and Russian forces.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) carried out two new attacks against the Ottoman Turkish-backed rebels in the Afrin region this week.

Syrian Army uncovers mass grave filled with bodies of women and children in rural Hama
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered a mass grave in rural Hama this evening while combing through areas that were previously occupied by the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS).

According to a military source in Hama, the Syrian Arab Army uncovered a mass grave containing tens of corpses.

The source said the grave contained the bodies of women and kiddies who were executed by the Islamic State (ISIS) during their 2015 offensive in the Salamiyah countryside.

He added that the grave was filled with beheaded bodies near the Aqareb Dam, which was a stronghold for ISIS during the Syrian Arab Army’s offensive against them in 2017.
