In an interview with RFE’s Pakistain service, Atmar said if the terror group finds sanctuaries and financial resources in Pakistain the issue will be prolonged and expanded in the region.
Atmar further added that the leader of the terror group Hafeez Saeed Khan who was a former Pak Taliban leader was killed in Afghanstan and so far at least 12 leaders of the terror group have been killed.
The ISIS loyalists in Afghanistan started operations from the eastern Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province although the footprings of the terror group have been seen in other parts of the country, including the northern Balkh province.
Recent reports emerged from the southern Zabul province of Afghanistan where the local officials have said the terror group have started attracting fighters in southern Afghanistan.
The Afghan fores launched a major operation in eastern Nangarhar province nearly three weeks ago to suppress the insurgency activities of the terror group in this province.

[Libya Observer] Social media activists have reacted angrily to some stickers that were sealed at a number of Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... areas to defame Libya's Grand Mufti Sheikh Sadiq Al-Gharyani.
The stickers showed a picture of Sheikh Sadiq with "no to Moslem Brüderbund" and "Enough Bloodshed" written on them.
Social media activists accused Dignity Operation supporters, who have find some freedom of expression after the arrival of UN-proposed government in Tripoli, of being behind the incident, which took place under cover of darkness.
Posts to defend the Mufti flooded social media on Monday with the hashtag "Sheikh Sadiq Al-Gharyani represents me" went viral on Facebook.
Dignity Operation supporters accuse Sheikh Sadiq Al-Gharyani of being a member of Moslem Brüderbund, which he has denied several times.
Actually, accusations of being a terrorist, an ISIS affiliate, Qaeda affiliate or Moslem Brüderbund affiliate have become fashionable in the Dignity Operation camp to defame opponents.
The Dignity Operation camp has also went further on this matter. Last year, notorious TV anchor Mohammed Imtallal accused US President Barack Obama I am not a dictator!... of being a member of the international network of Moslem Brüderbund for not providing weapons to Dignity Operation as the Egyptians and the Emiratis did.
Dignity Operation's Air Force Commander Saqir Jaroushi has also said that head of UN-proposed Presidency Council Fayaz Sirraj would be branded terrorist if he refuses to stand by Khalifa Haftar ... served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all... 's self-proclaimed army.
"In fact, Sheikh Sadiq is at odds with Moslem Brüderbund, he is against the UN-backed government, and Moslem Brüderbund members are strong supporters of this government and have influential members in the Presidency Council," comments one social media activist.
"Accusing Sheikh Sadiq of being a Moslem Brüderbund member is very strange and means the accuser does not differentiate between Sheikh Sadiq's Maliki doctrine and Moslem Brüderbund's party," journalist Essam Zubair reacted to the stickers.
Dignity Operation also accuses Sheikh Sadiq of inciting bloodshed for his frequent Fatwas to fight Khalifa Haftar's militias in Benghazi. Sheikh Sadiq's famous Fatwa to fight Wirshiffana kidnap gangs, who usually rob and kill passers-by, has also sparked fury within Dignity Operation and former Qadaffy regime supporters.
Meanwhile, ...back at the wrecked scow, a single surviver held tightly to the smashed prow... Tripoli Elders' Council has deplored the smearing campaign on the Mufti, who is seen as a stumbling block to Dignity Operation's Khalifa Haftar's ambitions to rule Libya.
"It's a desperate attempt to defame one of the prominent icons of Libya's Fatwa House," the council said.

Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... have been denounced by the president of the former General National Congress Nuri Abu Sahmain. He has accused supporters of the Qadaffy regime of putting them up, saying that anyone who agreed with them was a fool and a traitor to the deaders who died for the revolution.
The posters, showing a No Entry sign pasted over a photo of Ghariani and saying "No to the Moslem Brüderbund" and "Enough Bloodshed" effectively accuse him of promoting violence in Libya. They are, however, believed to have been put up by Tripoli militia leader Haithem Tajouri ...Commander of the pro-(Islamist) government First Support Brigade... who, it is rumoured, intends to arrest him.
Support for Ghariani has meanwhile also come from the Derna, where the controlling mujahideen, supposedly supported by local elders, tribal leaders and civil society activists, have issued as statement stating that Ghariani’s Dar Al-Ifta (Fatwa House) is the source of legitimacy in Libya.
The statement also said that any law at variance with Islamic law was null and void, that the Sharia was the sole basis for legislation, and the Dar Al-Ifta the only competent authority to appoint judges and to arbitrate on laws.
Were Tajouri to arrest Ghariani, it would probably raise his popularity across the country despite the fact that he too is condemned by many Libyans, in his case as corrupt. Ghariani, however, has become far more unpopular and is widely ridiculed, particularly in Tripoli where he is nicknamed Sharshabil, after the malevolent wizard in the Arabic version of the Smufs cartoon series.
Appointed grand mufti by the leader of the national Transitional Council, Mustafa Abdul Jalil, in 2011, Ghariani was sacked by the House of Representatives in November 2014 for his interference in political affairs. Even Abdul Jalil decided he had made a mistake and that Ghariani should go because he had lost the confidence of the Libyan people.
Ghariani has raged in particular against Khalifa Hafter and the Libyan National Army, calling on Libyans to go and fight them and claiming they are a greater danger to the country than the so-called Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (IS). Anyone who supports Hafter, he said, would go to Hell while those who died fighting him would be deaders and go to Heaven.
The allegation, however, that Ghariani is the face of the Moslem Brüderbund, does not tally with the facts. When not demonising Hafter, he is usually busy condemning the Presidency Council which the Brotherhood supports. The Brotherhood has been condemned by Ghariani suuporters for doing so.
He is now at the centre of a nationalist, Islamist movement which includes the Derna mujahideen, the Benghazi Defence Brigades and other radicalised militias. While separate to IS, and rejecting its caliphate, it shares much of its ideology.
Despite the contempt and ridicule for him, he is also seen as Libya’s version of Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeni ‐ the country’s supreme guide.

After being stripped of public money Public Interest Lawyers will close at the end of this month.
Hundreds of service personnel will now escape being dragged into a taxpayer-funded witch-hunt.
Nearly 200 compensation claims made by suspected Iraqi bully boyz will be thrown out and more than 1,000 potential claims scrapped. Phil Shiner, who ran PIL, may now face charges because the National Crime Agency is investigating the law firm.
The development is a victory for the Daily Mail, which has exposed the tactics of the ambulance-chasing solicitors. These include using touts to drum up business in Iraq in breach of legal rules.
The collapse of PIL emerged in a document it submitted to the High Court at the start of this month. It asked judges to make an order that it had ceased to act for 187 Iraqi claimants due to its ’permanent closure’.
In a subsequent letter seen by the Mail, PIL told its clients it was closing on August 31 and would no longer act on their behalf. The 187 cases will not now come before the courts ‐ and neither will another 1,100 compensation claims the legal firm planned to lodge.

"In order to prevent illegal actions on the territory of Azerbaijan by the supporters of the terrorist organization of Fethullah Gulen, the prosecutor general has launched a criminal case," front man Eldar Sultanov told AFP.
He said Sherlocks have begun "actions" on the case, without elaborating. It is unclear how many people might be prosecuted in the case.
Azerbaijan last month shut down a private television channel over plans to broadcast an interview with Gulen, "in order to avoid provocations aimed at damaging the strategic partnership between Turkey and Azerbaijan."
Gulen's Hizmet movement has affiliated schools around the world, including in ex-Soviet Kazakhstan, normally funded by wealthy Turkish businessmen.
They insist it is an informal grouping promoting moderate islam and development, but their critics see them as a shadowy organization with an unaccountable influence in Turkey.

[IsraelTimes] A key Turkish religious organization in Germany said on Sunday it would further distance itself from Ankara after politicians and media raised concerns of foreign influence.
Mosque federation Ditib "is and will remain politically neutral," front man Zekeriya Altug told the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung (FAS) newspaper.
"Apart from the imams supplied by the Diyanet (The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... ’s religious affairs agency), there is no financial support from the Turkish state or the Diyanet," he said.
Some media and politicians have raised fears of divided loyalties among Germany’s roughly three-million-strong Turkish population -- and suggested Ditib’s imams could be relaying political messages from the Turkish government.
Ditib hosts imams trained in Turkey and paid by Diyanet -- most of whom are unfamiliar with German culture and may not even speak the language -- at its 900 mosques and Islamic associations.
Altug’s comments were more conciliatory than a statement released by Ditib on August 8 in which the group rejected all criticism based on fears of foreign control of its imams.

The front man said Ditib would look for alternative sources of funding to train and pay preachers.
"In 10 years, at least half our imams will be socialized in Germany" thanks to a Ditib-funded program to send German-born imams for training in Turkey, he said.

[DAWN] KARACHI: A young man was killed and nine others were maimed in celebratory firing on the eve of Independence Day in different parts of the city, police and rescuers said on Sunday.
A stray bullet killed 20-year-old Rohail Iqbal in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The Sharea Faisal police said that the victim, a first-year student, was standing outside his home in Al-Sham Complex on Rashid Minhas Road when a stray bullet hit him.
He was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead. He's dead, Jim! on arrival, said Dr Seemin Jamali, head of the JPMC’s emergency department.
He sustained a bullet wound in the head.

The JUI-F chief said, "It would not be appropriate to send the refugees back to the land of war, blood and fire after hosting them for around 35 years."
"Force repatriation of Afghan refugees will not benefit our cause, except making the Afghans an enemy of Pakistain," Fazl maintained.
He advised the government to make new friends in the World instead of turning everyone into an enemy of the country.
"We cannot afford to lose the sympathies of Afghan refugees by sending them back forcefully," Fazl added.
He was of the view that it was not the right time for repatriation of Afghan refugees as, according to him, "the security situation in Afghanistan was not suitable".
"We can take care of Afghan refugees for a year or more but cannot push them back to the valley of death," he asserted.

The Syrian regime and its mercenaries used the citadel as a deployment site following outbreak of the revolution benefiting from the high place of the citadel overlooking large areas of al-Badiya to install cannons and launchers to bomb rebelling areas.
When ISIS captured the city in the summer of 2015, it fortified in the citadel, too. Later, the regime recaptured Palmyra from ISIS latest March 2016 with Russian land and air support and other sectarian militias mostly from Iraq and Afghanistan.
The citadel is the highest point in Palmyra and situated on a very steep hill with 150m of height. The building of the citadel is attributed to Fakhr al-Din al-Mani al-Thani (d.1635 A.D), one of the emirs of Leb from Druze sect. However, Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried... the origin and history of the citadel go back to the Mamluks in the 13th century.

[PJ] A former brigadier general revealed on Fox News Monday some new information about the White House's role in U.S. Central Command's skewing of intelligence to downplay the threats of ISIS and Al Qaeda.
Last week, a House Republican task force concluded in a 15-page report that U.S. military leaders altered intelligence reports "to paint a rosier picture" of the U.S.-led fight against ISIS than intelligence analysts believed was warranted.
The report blamed "structural and management changes" at the intelligence directorate for the distortions, but stopped short of explaining WHY the changes were made. According to Defense News, "the problems followed the change in Central Command’s leadership from Marine Gen. James Mattis, as CENTCOM commander, to Army Gen. Lloyd Austin."
U.S. Army Brigadier Gen. Anthony Tata (Ret.) filled in some blanks on Fox News Monday afternoon, and if his allegations are true, the scandal reaches all the way to the president's inner circle.
