Muslim College Student Who Lied About Trump Supporters Attacking Her On NY Subway Pleads Guilty
[DailyWire] On Friday, Yasmin Seweid, 19, the Muslim college student at Baruch College who lied to police, telling them she had been harassed on the New York subway by white men who attempted to seize her hijab, pleaded guilty to falsely reporting an incident and disorderly conduct.

Seweid had claimed the incident occurred on the No. 6 train on Dec. 1, 2016. She told The New York Daily News that three drunk white men screamed “Donald Trump!” and hurled anti-Islam slurs at her, then tried to rip her hijab off of her head. She stated, “I heard them say something very loudly, something about Donald Trump ... I also heard them say the word terrorist and I sort of got a little scared.” She added that they said, “Oh look, a (expletive) terrorist … Get the hell out of the country! You don’t belong here!” She said when she tried to ignore them, they pulled on her bag to get her attention and the strap broke. “That’s when I turned around and said ‘can you please leave me alone,’ and they started laughing,” she said.

Days later, Seweid went missing, prompting a search for her.

Seweid was arrested on December 14 on charges of filing a false report and obstructing governmental administration. Police sources stated Seweid lied because she didn’t want to get in trouble for breaking her curfew after being out late drinking with friends.

In court, Seweid wrote an apology that was read by the prosecutor that read, "I was stupid. I plan to continue to find ways to better myself." She had already stated that she wasted police resources when she made the claim, which she made because she had missed her family’s curfew.

Seweid must take six months of counseling and complete three days of community service.

Islamic State's Footprint Spreading in Northern Somalia: U.N.
[USNEWS] A krazed killer faction loyal to Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(IS) has increased its following in northern Somalia from a few dozen last year to up to 200 this year, a U.N. report said, days after the group came under U.S. air attack for the first time.

The increase in strength of the IS spin-off group has attracted attention because some security officials fear it could offer a safe haven for Islamic State murderous Moslems fleeing military defeat in Syria or Iraq.

"The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant
... the current version of al-Qaeda in Iraq, just as blood-thirsty and well-beloved as the original...
(ISIS) faction loyal to Sheikh Abdulqader Mumin - estimated...in 2016 to number not more than a few dozen..., has growing significantly in strength, and (now) consists of as many as 200 fighters," said the report by a panel of U.N. experts obtained by Rooters.

"Even a few hundred armed fighters could destabilize the whole region," said a regional diplomatic security source. "It(air strikes) is a recognition from the U.S. that the situation in terms of the (Islamic State) faction in Puntland
...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion...
is becoming increasingly critical."

Somalia has been riven by civil war and Islamist militancy, though more in the south than in the north where the Puntland region is located, since 1991 when clan warlords overthrew a dictator before turning on each other.

Friday's air strikes failed to kill Mumin, the security source said. But Abdirizak Ise Hussein, director of semi-autonomous Puntland's spy service, said the strikes killed about 20 krazed killers, including a Sudanese fighter and two Arabs.

Almost all Mumin's fighters are Somali, the U.N. report said, though the group is believed to include a Sudanese man sanctioned by the United States. The group also has contacts in Yemen. It was unclear if the Sudanese man under U.S. sanctions was the same one reported killed in the air strike.

Egypt's Sisi backs Saudi purge; urges de-escalation with Iran in the region
[REUTERS] Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi said on Wednesday he was against military strikes on Iran or the Tehran-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah, saying there was enough turmoil in the Middle East.

In a meeting with a group of journalists, Sisi also pledged support for Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
in its stand-off with Iran.

Asked about the prospect of attacks on Iran and Hezbollah - two days after Saudi Arabia had accused Leb of declaring war because of Hezbollah’s "aggressive actions", Sisi stressed the importance of de-escalation.

"I am always against war," Sisi said, without spelling out who might be involved in military action.

Sunni powerhouse Saudi Arabia called for sanctions against Hezbollah this week and accused Iran of supplying Yemen’s Houthis with missiles used to target it.

"I have said it once and I will say it again, Gulf national security is Egyptian national security. I have faith in the wise and firm leadership of Saudi Arabia," Sisi said.

Al-Qaeda affiliate in Mali claims string of attacks
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] An al-Qaeda affiliate in Mali on Wednesday grabbed credit for four attacks on Malian and United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
troops that it said killed six soldiers.

The Nusrat al-Islam wal Moslemeen (NIM) said in statements that it had attacked a police post in Segou on Sunday, capturing weapons and a cycle of violence.

On Monday, "fighters ambushed Malian and MINUSMA (UN mission in Mali) forces near the city of Konna in Mopti, killing six soldiers," according to a report carried by the US monitoring group SITE.

"Other fighters bombed a Malian convoy tasked with securing an area near Niafunke in Timbuktu in preparation for a visit by a local leader," it said.

Prime Minister Abdoulaye Idrissa Maiga cancelled a planned visit on Monday to the central town after a vehicle sent to protect his team hit a landmine.

Also on Monday, police and administrative officials said 10 people, including nine civilians, had died in attacks in northern and central Mali.

They included five civilian passengers aboard a bus blown up by a mine near Ansongo -- an incident that was not claimed in the NIM statements.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Mahamat Saleh Annadif, the head of MINUSMA, lashed the jihadist assailants as "drugged fanatics" and "outlaws".

He called on Malians to become "collectively aware" of "cowards (who) mix with the peaceful population, discretely melt into the background before carrying out their plans."

Arabia
Arab League stands in solidarity with Saudi Arabia against any threats
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The League of Arab States declared its solidarity with the Kingdom of Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
against any foreign threats targeting its security.

Ahmed Abul-Gheit, the Secretary-General of the Arab League
...an organization of Arabic-speaking states with 22 member countries and four observers. The League tries to achieve Arab consensus on issues, which usually leaves them doing nothing but a bit of grimacing and mustache cursing...
, condemned the unprecedented escalation of violence against Saudi Arabia.

He stated that the Iranian interventions in the Arab countries are intolerable and unacceptable all over the Arab States, as they reflect Iran’s desire to create tension and unrest in order to exercise hegemony over the region.

Abul-Gheit said that the Arab duty requires solidarity with Saudi Arabia while facing these serious threats to its security, stressing on the other hand the conflict in Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...
is unfortunate, and backing it are known parties that aim to stretch the confrontation in Yemen to the whole area endlessly.

The Secretary-General added that regional stability will happen only when these parties fully consider their policies towards Arabs, and review the approach adopted in previous years, which caused the region to enter into a cycle of conflict and turmoil.

Iran’s Rouhani defends Houthi missile attack on Saudi Arabia
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Iran's President Rouhani said on Wednesday that Yemen’s missile attack targeting Riyadh on Saturday was "a reaction to Saudi aggression."

"How should the Yemeni people react to bombardment of their country. So they are not allowed to use their own weapons? You stop the bombardment first and see if the Yemenis would not do the same," Rouhani was quoted as saying by Tasnim news agency.

A day earlier, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman described Iran’s supply of rockets to the Houthis as "direct military aggression" that could be an act of war.

Saudi air defenses intercepted the ballistic missile heading toward Riyadh. It was brought down near Riyadh airport without causing casualties.

Finsbury Park Mosque says it was 'unaware' trustee is senior member of Hamas
[INDEPENDENT.CO.UK] Finsbury Park Mosque says it was unaware that one of its trustees has been appointed to Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,’ political bureau.

Representatives of the institution told The Independent it has no relationship with the Islamist Paleostinian political party following a high-profile trip to Russia by representatives including Mohammed Sawalha.

Hamas named him alongside senior members in coverage of the visit, dealing a blow to the mosque’s efforts to dispel its former reputation as a hub for al-Qaeda supporters and bad boy preachers including Abu Hamza.

Mr Sawalha, who is one of Finsbury Park Mosque’s six trustees, was identified as part of Hamas' political bureau in coverage of the "fruitful" visit to Moscow.

He was among senior members of the organization to meet Vladimir Putin

Hamas released photos of the three-hour meeting in September, where it said delegates discussed its reconciliation with the Paleostinian Authority and alleged Israeli abuses against Paleostinians in Gazoo, West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Court indicts Nawaz in 3 separate corruption references, rejects plea for clubbing NAB cases
[DAWN] The accountability court hearing corruption cases against Nawaz Sharif
... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf, then by the courts...
and his family members has rejected an application filed by the ousted prime minister for clubbing together the three references filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

After the announcement of the judgement, Sharif was called to the rostrum and the judge read out the charges against him. The former prime minister was indicted separately in each of the three references ‐ he pleaded "not guilty" to all the charges.

While at the rostrum, Sharif expressed his concern that since the Supreme Court had given a six-month deadline for the references to be wrapped up, deciding four references in this period would mean each case gets just 1.5 months. However,
women are made to be loved, not understood...
the judge observed that the cases could conclude within the timeframe if heard simultaneously.

After the indictment, the court revived summonses for the prosecution witnesses ‐ Sidra Mansoor of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistain and Jahangir Ahmed of Federal Board of Revenue ‐ for their presence in the next hearing.

Circumscribed organisations
[DAWN] Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry told the senators that a total of 65 organizations are currently scheduled in the government's 'proscribed' list while six are under observation. He said Jamaat-ud-Dawa
...the front organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba...
and the Falaah-e-Insaniat Foundation had changed their name to re-enter the mainstream, after which they had been included in Schedule 2.

"Taking action against proscribed organizations is the responsibility of the provincial governments," he told senators. "The Interior Ministry receives reports on the activities of these organizations, and it duly apprises the National Counter-terrorism Authority and provincial governments of any concerning developments."

Interior minister grilled over NIC issued to slain Taliban leader
[DAWN] Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday informed Senate in a written reply that ‐ contrary to media reports that Afghan Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
leader Mullah Mansoor had been carrying a Pakistain passport and National Identity Card (NIC) ‐ it had emerged that the card had actually been issued to a man named Muhammad Wali, son of Shah Muhammad.

The minister said in the statement that a departmental inquiry against all National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) officials involved in issuing the 'fake' NIC had been completed. At least three officials had been handed a "major punishment" ‐ removal from service. The minister said cases have also been registered against the accused and judicial proceedings are ongoing in the case.

Responding to the minister's assurances, Senator Farhatullah Babar was not satisfied that action had only been taken against lower-level Nadra employees.

"This is not the solution to the problem," he said, asking that the government should investigate who gave the orders for the card to be issued, if it was not already doing so.

PML-N questions Supreme Court's 'capacity to judge' in response to detailed judgement
[DAWN] The PML-N on Wednesday "rejected" what it termed "inappropriate remarks" made by five justices of the Supreme Court in their detailed judgement on multiple review petitions filed against the July 28 verdict in the Panama Papers case.

The statement, released by the party after a meeting at Punjab
1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard
2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots....

House in Islamabad, said that whatever was said about the three-time prime minister "falls short of the court's standards."

In the statement, the party accused Supreme Court judges not only of trying to influence the lower courts ‐ saying that this was the opinion of several unnamed "legal experts" ‐ but also of giving a judgement on the ongoing corruption references against the Sharif family before they have been completed.

"The detailed judgement is a very unfortunate example of malice, hostility, anger and provocation from beginning to the end," the party said.

Putting to rest any speculation that Nawaz Sharif
... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf, then by the courts...
and family had been convinced to desist from attacking state institutions, the statement used unusually harsh language to criticise the Supreme Court on being unable to deliver justice.

"The caravans were looted because oaths were taken over the bandidos' hands," the statement alleged, invoking the Provisional Constitution Order imposed during dictator Pervaiz Musharraf's regime.

The "caravans looted by bandidos" reference was a response to a verse quoted in the Supreme Court's judgement the day earlier, which the PML-N seems to have taken particular offense at.

Mumbai attacks hurt Kashmir cause: ex-Pakistan foreign secretary
[DAWN] The 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai have done an irreparable damage to the Kashmir cause and tarnished Pakistan’s image as well, says former foreign secretary Riaz Mohammad Khan.

In November 2008, militants carried out 12 coordinated attacks in Mumbai, killing 164 people. The attacks drew widespread global condemnation and India used the attackers’ alleged link to Lashkar-e-Taiba for blaming Pakistan.

Islamabad strongly rejected the Indian claim but the accusation did hurt its image in world capitals.

“Besides tarnishing Pakistan’s image, the attacks also did an irreparable damage to the Kashmir cause,” said Mr Khan while addressing a gathering at the Pakistan Embassy in Washington on Sunday night.

The former foreign secretary referred to a recent edict by the Imam of Kaaba, saying that “Islam does not allow private individuals and groups” to declare jihad. “It’s only a government that has the authority to declare jihad,” the imam added.

Iraq
Iraqi PM Abadi: We will continue to fight ISIS, even within Syrian territory
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said that he has ordered armed forces to fight against ISIS, even from within Syrian territory.

In a statement on Tuesday, Abadi also said that there are joint efforts with neighboring countries to Iraq to protect the borders from any threat ISIS may pose.

The prime minister also warned various forces against harming federal forces or citizens in Kurdistan, Kirkuk and disputed areas. If "disobeyed," consequences will be harsh no matter the offender, he added.

Meanwhile,
...back at the buffalo wallow, Standing Buffalo drew a bead on his old enemy and squeezed the trigger...
air strikes coordinator for the international alliance against ISIS Brigadier General Andrew Croft said on Tuesday that Iraqi operations forces fighting against the terrorist group will not reach Syrian territory.

During a presser Croft dismissed having knowledge of Iranian militia at the Iraqi and Syrian borders between al-Bukamal and al-Qaim.

Croft stressed that Iraqi operations are carried out under Baghdad’s supervision.

He also said that the Washington-led coalition continues to have good relations with the Peshmerga and Iraqi forces alike.

Iraqi Central Bank orders banks to halt operations in Kurdistan
[RUDAW.NET] The Central Bank of Iraq has called on all Iraqi banks in the country to halt their operations in the Kurdistan Region indefinitely. Any bank that disobeys will no longer receive foreign currency transfers from the central bank.

The move is seen as part of the punitive measures taken by the government of Iraq against the Kurdistan Region in response to the vote for independence held on September 25 despite the opposition of Iraq, neighboring countries, and others including the United States.

In an official letter dated November 7, a copy of which Rudaw has obtained, the Central Bank points to instructions from the Iraqi parliament sent on October 12 that stipulate the Central Bank must "not sell foreign currencies to the banks working in [Kurdistan] Region or those who have branches there."

Banks were given one week to inform Iraq’s financial regulator of what steps they have taken to halt their operations in the Kurdistan Region if they want to continue to buy and sell foreign currencies with the Central Bank.

It added that the measures will be in place until otherwise announced at a later date.

Iraq has taken a number of punitive measures against the Kurdistan Region following the independence vote, including military operations and a ban on international flight to and from the Region.

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has described such measures as "collective punishment."

Palestinian Police Chief: Hamas Must Disarm under Unity Deal
[AnNahar] The head of the Paleostinian police said Wednesday that Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, must disarm to allow a landmark reconciliation deal signed last month with rivals Fatah to succeed.

Hazem Atallah's comments came as cracks began to show in the Paleostinian reconciliation deal mediated by Egypt over the issue of security control of the Gazoo Strip.

The Paleostinian Authority (PA) is due to retake control of the Gazoo Strip, currently still run by Islamist movement Hamas, by December 1.

"We are talking about one authority, one law, one gun," Atallah told journalists in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, echoing a line from Paleostinian President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial...
Asked whether he could allow Hamas' armed wing to maintain their weapons while being in charge of police in Gazoo, he said: "No way."

"It is impossible. How can I do security when there are all these rockets and guns and whatever? Is this possible? It doesn't work.

"Otherwise how can I be in charge? Who is going to be standing and saying 'I am the chief of police, I am in charge,' if I am not controlling everything?"

He said the 8,000-9,000 Paleostinian police who worked in Gazoo before Hamas took over in 2007 would return to their posts, rejecting the idea of merging with the existing Hamas-led police.

This, he added, would need major financial support as the police's budget would effectively double.

Last month the two political parties signed an Egyptian-brokered reconciliation agreement under which Hamas is meant to hand over control of Gazoo by December 1.

The agreement signed in Cairo does not specify the future for Hamas' vast armed wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades. Hamas has so far refused to disarm.

On November 1, Hamas handed over control of border crossings in a first key test.

But in a sign of tension, Paleostinian prime minister Rami Hamdallah said Tuesday the PA still did not have full control of the crossings, with Hamas dominating the police and security inside Gazoo.

Hamas rejected that, with a statement saying it had fully transferred power.

Security coordination with Israel resumed, PA official says
[IsraelTimes] The head of the Paleostinian police in the West Bank confirms that security coordination has resumed with Israel, after it was partly suspended in July.

"Everyone is coordinating now. That means things returned to what they were before July 14," Hazem Atallah says. "Things are normal now."

He later confirms to journalists in Ramallah that it was around two weeks ago that security coordination resumed fully.

PA President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial...
announced in July security coordination was being suspended in protest of Israel installing new security measures at the entrance to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, although it was unclear to what extent it was actually cut.

The security measures, including metal detectors, were installed after two Israeli coppers were killed in the area by Arab Israeli button men who emerged from the holy site to commit the attack.

Atallah says security coordination was never completely cut for the police, saying 95 percent of the activities had continued.

"The only thing we stopped is we didn’t meet them in the field," he adds.

"We don’t work with politics. We work for people," he says, defending the coordination, which polls say is unpopular with most Paleostinians.

US seeks action against Iran after Saudis’ charge
[DAWN] The United States called on Tuesday for international action to hold Iran to account after Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
accused Tehran of "direct military aggression" over a Yemeni rebel missile attack near Riyadh.

The Iran-backed Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
rebels also threatened to attack ports and airports in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, escalating a crisis between Riyadh and Tehran.

Saudi Arabia’s powerful crown prince had accused Iran of supplying missiles to the Houthis, which he said "could be considered as an act of war".

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif retorted that "the allegations by Saudi officials were contrary to reality", a foreign ministry front man said.

Washington’s ambassador to the United Nations
