[Washington Examiner via GP] Washington Examiner reports:
There’s no doubt Republicans want the public to see the classified memo. To get it out, they are studying a never-before-used procedure whereby House Intelligence Committee members would vote to make the memo public, after which the president would have five days to object.
If the president had no objection, the memo would become public after those five days. If the president did object, the matter would go to the full House, which could vote to overrule the president’s objections and release the memo anyway.
Republicans believe it is unlikely they would have to go that far; why would President Trump object to the release of a document allegedly showing that Obama administration officials abused the law in investigating Trump? But even if there were an objection, the feeling is the House would go ahead.
After millions of Americans called on Congress to release the memo, Rep. Dave Joyce (R-OH) announced Saturday that the process has begun.

It's amazing how they can look at obvious facts like the Deep State illegally tried to keep Trump out of their turf, and come to the conclusion it's all a partisan frame-up. It's hallucinatory. Scott Adams has a great series of blog posts on these. People literally will hallucinate that you said something you didn't.

Here is what we now know, per intelligence gleaned form federal law enforcement sources with insider knowledge of what amounts to a plot by U.S. intelligence agencies to secure back door and illegal wiretaps of President Trump’s associates:
Six U.S. agencies created a stealth task force, spearhead by CIA’s Brennan, to run domestic surveillance on Trump associates and possibly Trump himself.
To feign ignorance and to seemingly operate within U.S. laws, the agencies freelanced the wiretapping of Trump associates to the British spy agency GCHQ.
The decision to insert GCHQ as a back door to eavesdrop was sparked by the denial of two FISA Court warrant applications filed by the FBI to seek wiretaps of Trump associates.
GCHQ did not work from London or the UK. In fact the spy agency worked from NSA’s headquarters in Fort Meade, MD with direct NSA supervision and guidance to conduct sweeping surveillance on Trump associates.
The illegal wiretaps were initiated months before the controversial Trump dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele.
The Justice Department and FBI set up the meeting at Trump Tower between Trump Jr., Manafort and Kushner with controversial Russian officials to make Trump’s associates appear compromised.
Following the Trump Tower sit down, GCHQ began digitally wiretapping Manafort, Trump Jr., and Kushner.
After the concocted meeting by the Deep State, the British spy agency could officially justify wiretapping Trump associates as an intelligence front for NSA because the Russian lawyer at the meeting Natalia Veselnitskaya was considered an international security risk and prior to the June sit down was not even allowed entry into the United States or the UK, federal sources said.
By using GCHQ, the NSA and its intelligence partners had carved out a loophole to wiretap Trump without a warrant. While it is illegal for U.S. agencies to monitor phones and emails of U.S. citizens inside the United States absent a warrant, it is not illegal for British intelligence to do so. Even if the GCHQ was tapping Trump on U.S. soil at Fort Meade.
The wiretaps, secured through illicit scheming, have been used by U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of alleged Russian collusion in the 2016 election, even though the evidence is considered “poisoned fruit.”

A Never-Before-Used Procedure for a Never-Before-Experienced-Corruption.
"WOW and jaw-dropping" Interesting descriptors.
We're all pretty jaded regarding government after 8 years of WJC and 8 years of Obama and HRC. They and their puppet masters have dirtied-up our government and our country. #ReleaseTheDamnMemo ASAP.
[Daily Caller via Townhall] The Daily Caller reports that the FBI "failed to preserve five months of text messages" exchanged between two anti-Trump FBI employees who may have compromised on going investigations such as the Clinton e-mail scandal and the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
The Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross reports that "The disclosure was made Friday in a letter sent by the Justice Department to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC).
'The Department wants to bring to your attention that the FBI’s technical system for retaining text messages sent and received on FBI mobile devices failed to preserve text messages for Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page,' Stephen Boyd, the assistant attorney general for legislative affairs at the Justice Department, wrote to Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of HSGAC
He said that texts are missing for the period between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017."
As this author previously noted, according to the Washington Post, Strzok's actions may have influenced other investigations, such as the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's illegal e-mail use. The "text messages with a colleague" the Times refers to is regarding messages critical of President Trump exchanged with FBI attorney Lisa Page, with whom Strzok was having an affair.
See paragraph #1 HERE which specifically acknowledges receipt of the "missing" emails by Michael E. Horowitz of the IG office:
"Following our review of those text messages, the OIG expanded our request to the FBI to include all text messages between Strzok and Page from November 30, 2016, through the date of the document request, which was July 28, 2017. The OIG received these additional messages on August 10, 2017."
It would take the combined efforts of several agencies to completely "lose" a bunch of text messages sent back and forth across official use cellphones.
Those text messages must be dynamite for the FBI and others to delete them, I wonder when they were deleted? Probably about the time the last batch was discovered.

Over at PJ Media, Stephen Greene writes: "The FBI didn't come up with a lame excuse because that's all they could come up with. They came up with a lame excuse because they think that's all they need."
This is the crux of the matter. Who is going to call them on it? Sure, there will be lots of huffing and puffing and outrage, but I'm betting the answer is no one.

Not so much of a report as a cataloging of i initial evidence. No mention of the other individual being investigated who the Sheriff alluded to. Perhaps the lawsuits will reveal more through the discovery process. Maybe the final report will put it all together in some coherent way. There is much that wasn't said in the preliminary report.
[Haaretz] Canadian Jewish couple Barry and Honey Sherman were murdered in December in what hired private investigators called a professional, contract killing, The Toronto Star reported on Saturday.
According to a source close to the investigation, the conclusions drawn by a team of experts hired by the Sherman family cast doubt on the prior assumption that the couple's death in December had been a murder-suicide. indicating instead a double-homicide.
A top forensic pathologist who carried out a second autopsy uncovered the existence of rope marks on the victims' wrists, suggesting that they had at some point been tied up, the report said. No ropes or similar materials that could have caused the marks were found near the bodies, further increasing suspicion.
The sources that provided the information for the report were not identified as they were not authorized to discuss the case.
Meanwhile, Toronto police have not released any further comments on the incident beyond their prior classification of the death as "suspicious."
The week after the couple was found dead in their Toronto home, the Sherman family criticized the police for allegedly circulating rumors that the couple's death was a murder-suicide.

Noble philanthropists murdered in a professional hit, staging a strangulation to look like a hanging with belts around their throats, symbolic nooses? Illuminati murder is a more likely motive than family squabbles. Apotex worked with Direct Relief in Haiti, who was a "particularly active" member of the Clinton Foundation/Clinton Global Initiative community to supply vaccines to Haiti. Saw somewhere they were diluted or contaminated. The huge pharmaceutical company airlifted vaccinations and medical supplies into Haiti that was funded through charitable donations to the Clinton Foundation and other connected charities. So the Canadian Shermans were connected to '1000 Points of Light' Bush, the CF, along with the Red Cross and UN--who did they cross?
He did the weather here on "K...UUUSI" TV
San Diego's high kicking weatherman John Coleman dies – January 21, 2018 – John Coleman, the dancing, prancing San Diego weatherman who tickled television viewers by the way he would sing out the letter U in KUSI-TV's call letters, died on Saturday. He was 83. Coleman, who also angered many people by insisting that global warming is a hoax, died at his home in Las Vegas, according to KUSI, where he served as a forecaster from 1994 to 2014, when he retired. The station did not announce the cause of death, but it did say that Coleman was surrounded by family when he passed away. His 2014 retirement capped a 60-year career during which served Coleman as the first forecaster on ABC's "Good Morning America," then went on to found the Weather Channel during the early days of cable television. The channel evolved from a little known number on the dial to the place millions of Americans turn first to track everything from hurricanes in Florida to blizzards in the Midwest to Santa Ana winds in California. "Like a strike of lightening (sic), a clap of thunder and a ray of sunshine, legendary weatherman John Coleman was an exciting, powerful and humorous force in the lives of so many," KUSI evening anchor Sandra Maas said Sunday on Twitter.

[NEWS24] Three 'supercars' owned by ousted Zim-bob-wean first lady Grace Mugabe and her son have been involved in an accident in Botswana, a newspaper says.
Mmegi Online said on its Twitter account that the three vehicles "believed to be belonging to Grace Mugabe" had had a "freak accident" on the A1 road near the town of Artesia late on Friday. It said the cars - a Porsche, a Rolls Royce and a Range Rover - were badly damaged but the drivers were not hurt. Artesia is around an hour's drive from the capital Gaborone.
There were few other details. A photo posted by the paper to Twitter shows the back of a car with the number plate 'RG SVA' on a grassy track at night. Two people are leaning on the vehicle.
There had already been huge speculation on Zim-bob-wean social media after an affidavit showing Grace Mugabe of the "Grace Mugabe Children's Home" had authorised her son Russell Goreraza to drive one of the cars, the Range Rover, out. Goreraza is Grace's son from her first marriage. Unconfirmed reports from inside Zim-bob-we say the other two vehicles belong to Goreraza.
Cars headed for Johannesburg
Goreraza is said to have told customs officials at the border post that he was taking all three cars to Johannesburg via Botswana to be serviced. Some Zim-bob-weans prefer travelling to South Africa via Botswana these days because that way they can avoid the chaotic Beitbridge border post.
Seizure of assets?
There were suggestions that the former first lady and her son might have been trying to avoid having the cars seized when an amnesty expires for the return of all money illegally spirited from Zim-bob-we during Mugabe's long rule. New president Emmerson Mnangagwa - a former VP who took over after the military intervened last November - has been talking tough on corruption as he seeks to win international confidence (though there are suspicions he may be unfairly targeting only his political rivals).
Appetite for luxury
Grace's appetite for luxury and her barely-cloaked determination to take over from Mugabe made her very unpopular: in fact, she's largely blamed for Mugabe's downfall. There have been hints that she and her two sons with the former president could face investigations - possibly only after Mugabe has died.

[NEWS24] Authorities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo ...formerly the Congo Free State, Belgian Congo, Zaire, and who knows what else, not to be confused with the Brazzaville Congo aka Republic of Congo, which is much smaller and much more (for Africa) stable. DRC gave the world Patrice Lumumba and Joseph Mobutu, followed by years of tedious civil war. Its principle industry seems to be the production of corpses. With a population of about 74 million it has lots of raw material... blocked the internet in Kinshasa and set up roadblocks throughout the city ahead of planned protests on Sunday demanding that President Joseph Kabila leave power.
Catholic church leaders have called for a mass peaceful demonstration against Kabila's 17-year rule, three weeks after a similar protest on New Year's Eve that ended in deadly violence.
The authorities have banned all demonstrations, and at around midnight, the internet, email and social media messaging networks were cut in the capital, AFP correspondents said.
Security forces have installed roadblocks on major routes into Kinshasa, while armed officers are conducting ID checks.
The church has also called for rallies in several other cities including Lubumbashi and Goma, but the government has banned all demonstrations since September 2016, when anti-Kabila protests turned violent.
The head of the Moslem community in DRC has backed the church, urging the authorities to allow the march to take place despite no official permission being granted.
"I ask the authorities to avoid repressing the march," Cheikh Ali Mwinyi M'Kuu, legal representative of the Moslem community, told AFP on Saturday.
"If they decide to repress, there will be no peace. But if they let the march take place, they will respect the constitution and peace will prevail."
The previous anti-Kabila march, on December 31, descended into a bloody crackdown after police and security forces gave the demonstrators a whiff of grapeshot.

[NEWS24] Thousands of women erupted into the streets of Togo's capital Lome on Saturday to protest against the power of President Faure Gnassingbe.
Since September, a coalition of 14 political parties has held almost weekly marches, where thousands have called for Gnassingbe to step down to end the more than 50-year rule of one family.
Opposition leader Jean-Pierre Fabre said during the march it was a "great initiative", adding: "Faced with the refusal of the power to move forward, women have decided to enter the game."
The female-focused demonstration follows similar protests in West Africa, notably the Women of Liberia movement which started in Monrovia in 2003 during the country's civil war.
Setting off from three different meeting points, the women dressed mostly in black and were accompanied by men and opposition leaders for the demonstration, which lasted several hours.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Al Arabiya.net communicated with a journalist in Guinea to know more about Moussa Kante, the man who allegedly shot and killed Saudi Sheikh Abdul Muhsin al-Tuwaijri in the village of Kantebalandougou in Guinea on Tuesday and acquired his photo.
Tuwaijri’s lectures and presence seem to have upset some pagans in the village so four of them decided to lurk for Tuwaijri after he leaves the mosque. Kante came across him as Tuwaijri was heading towards his car to go to Siguiri.
Initial reports about Kante said he was 17 years and that he was tossed in the clink Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'! on Wednesday. However after communicating with Mamadou Hawa Keita, a senior editor at the news website Aminata.com in Guinea, Al Arabiya learnt that he was 27 years old and he was arrested on Thursday.
Keita conveyed information which he attained from Seydou Kante, an administrative official from the area where the crime happened. According to Keita, Kante is married and he is a father of two.
Kante spent his childhood and teenage years in the Ivory Coast and he returned to the town six years ago, Keita said, adding that he moved between the capital Conakry and neighboring Sierra Leone.
The suspect does not have any social media accounts and there are no photos of him on the internet. According to Keita, he is a pagan like some of the villagers.
Eyewitnesses saw Kante carrying a hunting rifle and passing through the same road which Tuwaijri passed through after performing evening prayers and delivering a lecture at the mosque in the village.
Tuwaijri’s lectures and presence seem to have upset some pagans in the village so four of them decided to lurk for Tuwaijri after he leaves the mosque. Kante came across him as Tuwaijri was heading towards his car to go to Siguiri. He opened fire towards him and killed him and seriously injured the Moto-Taxi driver.
Police arrested Kante on Thursday night after they were certain he was the murderer.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Following the rape and murder of Zainab, a six-year-old Pak girl, the parents of eight other girls with similar cases appeared for a hearing in front of a special bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistain Mian Saqib Nisar.
The parents pleaded before a three-member bench of the apex court saying, "give us justice".
The Joint Investigation Team on Zainab’s murder case presented a progress report detailing their investigations thus far. The court was dissatisfied with the progress.
"So many incidents have taken place, what was the police doing?" the court questioned, according to the Dawn newspaper.
"The incidents took place repeatedly in the remit of two cop shoppes and no one conducted an inquiry," the chief justice said.
The investigative team said they retrieved DNA from 800 suspects, adding that the DNA found on Zainab matched seven other cases that also happened in Kasur since 2015.
The bench said that if the police had taken the matter seriously three years ago, the eight girls could have been saved, according to the Dawn newspaper.
No real progress has been made in the case since Zainab's body was found, despite the Counter-Terrorism Department, Intelligence Bureau, Special Branch and Punjab 1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard

[GEO.TV] Suspended Malir SSP Rao Anwar refused to appear before the inquiry committee, formed to probe extrajudicial murder of Naqeebullah Mehsud, after committee member DIG Sultan Khawaja asked him to appear at the DIG East's office at 11 pm on Sunday.
Mehsud, a 27-year-old native of Wazoo, was among four suspected turbans killed in an ’exchange of fire’ with a police team headed by SSP Anwar on January 13 in Shah Latif Town. However, ars longa, vita brevis... his family later stated that Naqeebullah was innocent and bumped off in a fake encounter.
An inquiry team, headed by Counter Terrorism Department Additional IG Sanaullah Abbasi, was formed to probe the incident. The committee ordered the suspension of Anwar and other officials involved in the incident as well as placement of Anwar's name on the Exit Control List.
Speaking to Geo News, Anwar said that he will not appear at the DIG East's office.
He also said that he has not yet made a decision regarding his appearance at the SSP's office at 1pm on Monday.
DIG East Sultan Khawaja, however, reached his office at 11pm. Speaking to media there, he said that no [criminal] record has been found of Naqeebullah from different cop shoppes. "KP police have also not found any criminal record of him."
He said that they are not under any pressure on Anwar's issue and that they are only following the orders of the Supreme Court.
"If complaints are received then case will be registered, and action will be taken in the same way," he told news hounds, when asked about past encounter by Anwar.
The DIG East said that Anwar and his team were summoned today, but they did not appear, adding that the suspended official and his team members' phones are also switched off.
He maintained that the inquiry team wants to conduct transparent investigations [into Naqeebullah's killing] and listen to Anwar.
Earlier in the evening, Khawaja said the probe body will again meet at the office of the DIG East at 11pm to refute Anwar's earlier claims of not being summoned by the committee.

Israel delivered a second advanced reconnaissance jet to the Italian Air Force on Sunday, completing a reciprocal trade deal signed in 2012.
The NIS 4 billion deal saw the Israel Air Force acquire 30 Leonardo M-346 Lavi jets to train its next generation of pilots. Italy purchased an equivalent value of Israeli aerospace technology, including satellites and the two G550 Conformal Airborne Early Warning and Control (CAEW) surveillance planes.

It turns out your parents, teachers, principals and priest were all wrong. Swearing isn’t bad. In fact, it might even be helpful, and science is here to prove it.
These are just some of the surprising findings chronicled in "Swearing Is Good for You: The Amazing Science of Bad Language" (W.W. Norton & Company), out Tuesday, by Emma Byrne, a London-based writer.

So if you want to express your "feelings" the f word works. But if you want to express logic and facts you should avoid it. The next step in the experiment should be to determine if members of a certain political party use it more often.
