#4  Don't know about VI, et. al. which is multinational and may have different 'DoT' standard mandates for intersection illumination, but I do know that Dallas local building suppliers inventory and employee resources (Home Depot, Lowes) have been decimated. Studs, plywood, roofing, electrical, drywall, appliances ripped off the shelves and shipped south with employees and forklifts. Faster to gut the local stores. Penske, Uhaul, rent-a-truck businesses are also southbound.

Wet cement left in place becomes rocks. Mobile cement plants will be in demand.

#5  Where I live we had a 12 inch rainfall in 18 hours, 6 inches of that in just a single hour. Thousands of basements in the county flooded due to sewer backups or leakage from walls, many of them for the first time ever. Rain ended by 2000. By 2030 all the sump pumps, drainage hoses, wet vacs & suchlike in the entire county had been sold out. It was several days before the retailers could be re-supplied.

Christian Numerologist Says World Will End On Sept. 23
[PHILADELPHIA.CBSLOCAL] If you had plans for the weekend, a Christian numerologist says you won’t get to them because the world is about to end.

David Meade, a self-proclaimed "researcher," is predicting that a series of apocalyptic events will begin on Sept. 23 and, "a major part of the world will not be the same."

According to Meade, the mysterious rogue planet Nibiru, also known as Planet X, is on a collision course with Earth, which will bring world-ending tsunamis and earthquakes. The numerologist claims the dates of recent events like the Great American Solar Eclipse and Hurricane Harvey’s flooding of Texas were all marked in the Bible. Meade now says his "Planet X theory" lines up with more bible codes and ancient markers on the Egyptian pyramids.

NASA has already dismissed the prediction; calling the whole thing a hoax. The space agency has reportedly known about the Nibiru conspiracy theory for years and shot down the talk of Armageddon in a 2012 statement.

"If Nibiru or Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth ... astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the naked eye."

#6  I heard that Christian means follower of Christ (of course MSM knows nothing about Christians other than to dredge a fake up for smearing the true ones). So what did Christ say when the world will end?

Mathew 24:36 But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

And he was not talking about the end of the earth, only the second return of Christ for a 1000 year reign. And Noah is said to be the last just man on earth before the flood.

#9  Luke 21 says the signs are hopeful for believers, saved from God's wrath, but a warning to the evil they cannot escape or control it. The astrologer makes fallacious conclusions but the conjunction of planets is interesting. The Virgin and the Lion of Judah converge as they did 9-11 in 3 B.C. leading him tools conclude this was Jesus' birthdate....further confirming Satanic rage as the age to come means his reign is ending. But if men's hearts fail them for fear when the stars fall from the sky on September 23, I will eat my words if I am not in NK's missile range.

Another One Hits
[DailyMail] A powerful 6.2 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Japan near Fukushima.

Details of the extent of the damage have not yet emerged regarding the quake which hit 281km South East of Kamaishi.

The depth of the earthquake, which struck at 2.37am local time, was measured at 10km.

A similar earthquake back in 2011 killed four people and injured 10 more when landslides occurred and fires broke out as a result.

But experts are predicting today's quake should pass by without causing any harm.
Unless a heart attack can be attributed to the quake. It's the end of the world as we know it.

With nothing better to do, Saudi regime arrests dancing teenager
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Saudi regime has once again demonstrated itself to be a threat to world freedom and peace as a government which enforces (within its own lands) and internationally promotes (through various lobbies and paramilitary proxies) an ideology that criminalizes children who dance in public.

Yesterday, Saudi regime police locked away
Drop the rod and step away witcher hands up!
a teenager in the city of Jeddah for performing the Macarena (a Spanish dance that became very popular in the West during the 1990s) in front of stationary cars at a pedestrian stop. The event had occurred one year ago almost to the day.

The teenager, now in police custody, is being charged with violating public morals and disrupting traffic.

Not catching the would-be moral violating teenager on the day (August 20, 2016) of the deed, Saudi police nonetheless expended resources into conducting a methodical investigation, beginning about one week ago, to locate and detain him.

As of the present time, the teenager has been directed towards civil prosecution authorities and awaits sentencing.

Caribbean-Latin America
U.S. Officials Express ‘Urgent Need' to Unravel Mystery of ‘Sonic' Attacks on Diplomats
[Free Beacon] The United States and Cuba went forward with their first formal diplomatic meeting since President Trump was elected in the face of calls from several GOP senators to kick out all Cuban diplomats in Washington‐and possibly shut down the embassy‐if the Cuban government cannot provide more information about the mysterious "sonic" attacks on U.S. diplomats in Havana.

State Department officials and Cuban government representatives met in Washington Tuesday for the sixth meeting of the Bilateral Commission, a formal working group established under President Barack Obama's policy of renewing diplomatic and economic ties with the island nation.

The State Department provided a terse read-out of the meeting Wednesday morning, noting that it "provided an opportunity to discuss the incidents affecting diplomatic personnel at the U.S. Embassy in Havana."

"The United States reiterated its deep concern for the safety and security of the U.S. Embassy community in Havana and the urgent need to identify the cause of these incidents and to ensure they cease," the read-out states.

Stop it with the advanced Cuban acoustic technology. I blame DARPA volunteers and improper implant settings.

Venezuela’s President calls Donald Trump the ‘new Adolf Hitler’
[METRO.CO.UK] Donald Trump has been called ‘the new Hitler’ of international politics by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. It came after the US president said he would step-up if Venezuela imposes ‘an authoritarian regime’ as he urged world leaders to restore ‘democracy’ in the South American country.

China-Japan-Koreas
Russia-China NORK Electromagnet Pulse (EMP) Nuclear Blast Testing?
[PJ] If North Korea detonated a nuclear device 200 kilometers above the Earth in order to create an electromagnetic pulse, would the U.S. counterstrike North Korea with conventional and perhaps nuclear weapons?

The answer had better be "hell yes."

Everyone agrees: an EMP attack over or near U.S., Japanese, or South Korean territory is a physical attack that would wreak havoc with communications, the power grid, and civilian physical infrastructure.

This quip makes the point with bumper sticker clarity: "EMP kills EMS."

American emergency medical systems, or EMS, depend on mobile communications to route EMS ambulances to accident sites and citizens in physical distress. An EMP attack would knock out a seizure victim's cell phone, the county EMS communication center, and the communications on the EMS ambulance. It would likely fry all of the electronics on the vehicle. If the ambulance has an electronic microchip key and a fancy-superkeen electronic ignition button, it might not even start.

#3  It is long past time for EMS to start using EMP resistant vehicles & equipment to the largest extent possible / affordable. Vacuum tube tech would survive EMP. Electronic infusion pumps, vital sign monitors, defibrillators & pacemakers probably would not.

#4  Re: #3, most likely won't happen. Vacuum tube tech too bulky and consume too much power as well. Not likely to meet human safely regulations (to prevent electrocution of patents) Also will need a generator to power the equipment, batteries will not last very long.

Miniature vacuum tube tech too small to survive EMP. No such thing as vacuum tube computers/controllers (there are low bits processors, but not enough to be useful in complex medical tech.) It would be easier and probably cheaper to just harden current medical techs.

They had EKG's etc. long before semiconductor technology was invented. The old tech didn't kill that many people. Either make the equipment EMP resistant or accept that many will die when an EMP event occurs, an event that can't be prevented. After the EMP event, power will come either from generators or not at all. I don't know how solar panels respond to EMP.

#7  Start picking up dead microwaves to store your sensitive electronics (comms, red eyes, NV, etc.).
And pray that there will only be a single EMP event, not a series of them spaced out over several months. Brush up on your Morse code knowledge, we might have to go back to flashing lights or click relays for long distance comms.

Posted by: Anguper Hupomosing9418 || 09/21/2017 19:02 Comments || Top||

#9  I once worked an ER in a hospital where outside power and backup generators failed in succession. Flashlights were the only way to see anything. The only link between the hospital and the outside world was a standard land-line phone in the ER. All the other phones in the entire facility depended on either outside power or the backup generator. Most of our high tech gear had hours of built-in battery backup.

Catalan leader accuses Spain of 'totalitarian' actions

Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un!
the region's junior economy minister and 12 others in raids of Catalan government offices in the run-up to a planned independence referendum.

Carles Puigdemont, the regional leader, denounced Wednesday's operation as "a coordinated aggression by the Spanish government’s police force" in order to stop the Catalans from going ahead with the October 1 vote.

"The Spanish state has by all rights intervened in Catalonia's government and has established emergency rule," Puigdemont said in a televised address.

"We condemn and reject the anti-democratic and totalitarian actions of the Spanish state," he said, adding that Catalans should still turn out in force to vote in the referendum on a split from Spain that the central government in Madrid has declared illegal.
