University of Utah finds legal case to impeach Trump
Ahhh... Yellow Journalism at its finest! Much like Yellow Snow...
(KUTV) Researchers at the University of Utah say there's a strong case to impeach Donald Trump, should he be elected as president.

Law professor Christopher Peterson
Who??
said he found ample evidence to charge the Republican candidate with fraud and racketeering, both of which are considered felonies within state and federal law.
But of course there is no evidence to charge or impeach Hillary.
In his analysis "Trump University and Presidential Impeachment," Peterson looked at Trump University, where students spent close to $30,000 to learn about practicing real estate. The for-profit college advertised curriculum and instructors chosen by Trump that promised students a high-caliber and selective experience.

But Trump University, according to Peterson, was unaccredited and taught students get-rich-quick schemes. The school closed in 2010 but still faces numerous lawsuits that could cast a shadow over his presidency, Peterson said.
I'm not familiar with Trump U but did it ever claim to be accredited?
"In the United States, it is illegal for businesses to use false statements to convince consumers to purchase their services," explained Peterson. "The evidence indicates that Trump University used a systemic pattern of fraudulent representations to trick thousands of families into investing in a program that can be argued was a sham. Fraud and racketeering are serious crimes that legally rise to the level of impeachable acts."
I don't know. If the University of Utah is accredited - this professor doesn't say much for accreditation. Perhaps not being accredited is a good thing?

#2  I'm sure President Trump will be able to find a legal case to cut U of U federal funding.

#3  Gee, it it's so serious and the school closed in 2010 that means there has been no fraud in 6 years and yet no lawyers have started cases that have proven it.

I don't doubt that there may have been some misleading but this really sounds like cheap, dirty politics.

#4  Good luck getting that through Congress.

I'm also for cutting all federal funds to the University as well.

"In the United States, it is illegal for businesses to use false statements to convince consumers to purchase their services,"

aka Obamacare. Remember its not illegal when 'we' do it.

Hildebeest Campaign Pressuring Lester Holt To Act As More Than A Moderator
The first presidential debate is Monday night at 9 p.m. ET. NBC’s Lester Holt will be the moderator, and I want to believe that he’ll be objective.

But the Clinton campaign isn’t happy with him, even though the debate hasn’t even happened yet. They’re actually pressuring Holt to take on a more "active" role in the debate, because Hillary can’t possibly present her vision for America and point out Trump’s factual inaccuracies at the same time. That’s not fair to her! Holt needs to help Hillary and continuously challenge Trump!

"It’s unfair to ask for Hillary both to play traffic cop with Trump, make sure that his lies are corrected, and also to present her vision for what she wants to do for the American people," Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook said on ABC’s "This Week."

Even George Stephanopoulos pressed Mook. Isn’t that the point of debating? Presenting your argument and disputing your opponent’s? That’s what you do in a debate. But Mook said this election is unlike anything we’ve ever witnessed before, so an exception should be made.

#2  The Hildebeast campaign's internal polling must be bad because this is a sign of desperation. Or maybe this is just a call for a "safe space".

#3  Of course she is. She can't win the debate without the moderator's help and she knows it.

#5  Rasmussen says that nearly 1/2 of those polled think the moderators will help Clinton. I'm surprised the number's not higher, but I don't think it'll matter - Trump is exactly the wrong guy to pull this crap on. He'll have Holt and his big fucking forehead on a pike with the first slanted question.
Posted by: Raj || 09/26/2016 11:22 Comments || Top||

#6  You would think Trump would be prepared for this kind of crap and will assume that he is facing 2 opponents and not one.

#7  The moderator will be persona non grata among the liberal elites if he doesn't bend over backwards and carry Hillary.

Scott Adams: Why I Switched My Endorsement from Clinton to Trump
As most of you know, I had been endorsing Hillary Clinton for president, for my personal safety, because I live in California. It isn't safe to be a Trump supporter where I live. And it's bad for business too. But recently I switched my endorsement to Trump, and I owe you an explanation. So here it goes.

#1  I do like how he writes about it.
Posted by: DarthVader || 09/26/2016 9:17 Comments || Top||

#2  In addition to Adams' astute observations of Trump as being skilled in the leadership arts of "pacing and leading" and persuasion, I've maintained more or less from the beginning that Trump is also a master at NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).

#3  Couldn't tell from Adam's article whether he thought the Clintons' health status was a feature or a bug?

New York Times endorses Hillary Clinton for president
[YAHOO] The New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...
published a resounding endorsement of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as For a good time at 3 a.m. call Hillary and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Edward Everett ...
on Saturday -- in the hope that it will persuade readers who are reluctant to cast a vote for another Clinton.

The paper’s editorial board explained that in any normal election year, it would compare the candidates on the issues side by side, but that it would be a fruitless endeavor this time around.

"A comparison like that would be an empty exercise in a race where one candidate -- our choice, Hillary Clinton -- has a record of service and a raft of pragmatic ideas, and the other, Donald Trump, discloses nothing concrete about himself or his plans while promising the moon and offering the stars on layaway," the board wrote.

The Times did not mince words in denouncing real estate mogul-turned-Republican-presidential-candidate Donald Trump as "the worst nominee put forward by a major party in modern American history." But the paper also said the best case to be made for Clinton isn’t that she’s not Trump -- it’s that she has the ability to meet the many challenges the U.S. faces.

#2  They just discredit themselves by endorsing Hillary this way. They're blind to the fact that she's a criminal who belongs in prison. That they don't even see that they're doing anything wrong is the whole reason for the rise of Trump. If our elites would have been taking care of business he never would have arisen.

#3  The old saying is that the NYT is written by and for the people who wish they ran the country. The WAPO is written by and for the people who think they run the country and the WSJ is written by and for the people who do run the country. I just dropped my WSJ subscription because it has become trash under Murdoch's ownership.

Newspapers can't die completely anywhere near soon enough.

Posted by: Raj || 09/26/2016 11:14 Comments || Top||

#8  Which brings up a question. Has Hillary ever held a real job? I of course mean a real non-government job.
There was that time when she got that pedophile off the hook by claiming the underage victim was 'begging for it'. Was she a government employee then?

So Hillary is losing the Bimbo vote...
