State Department Releases Clinton IT Guru Emails
This is the scab that needs to get picked at. How long before he visits Ft. Marcy Park after "self-restraining himself and shooting himself in the back of the head 5 times"? This guy will turn, eventually
The State Department has released for the first time a batch of emails specifically regarding Bryan Pagliano, the former State Department tech worker who helped manage Hillary Clinton's private email system.

The records, which were provided to The Daily Caller in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed on its behalf by the watchdog group Cause of Action, suggest that Pagliano is a central figure in a State Department inspector general investigation. They also show Pagliano, who started working at State in May 2009, discussing personnel and IT-related matters with Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, Clinton's top two State Department aides.

The State Department inspector general's interest in Pagliano has been rumored. In September, Yahoo! News reported that the watchdog sought to interview Pagliano in June. But the tech worker declined the request, as well as one from the FBI, by invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. He did the same in September when he declined to testify for the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

But the emails recently released to TheDC for the first time show officials within the agency discussing Pagliano within what appears to be the context of an IG probe.

#1  Sounds like he was in the middle of the entire activity. How about we detain him before he slips away to Moscow ?

Trump still leading Republican field, new national poll shows
[Iran Press TV] US Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has maintained his commanding national lead over the crowded GOP field in the race for the party's nomination, a new poll shows.

The Monmouth University national survey, released on Wednesday, found that the New York billionaire is leading the race with 36 percent national support, a 5-point drop from the same poll in December 2015.

Trailing behind Trump was Texas Senator Ted Cruz who stood at a distant second with 17 percent, marking a 3-point gain since the last poll.

Florida Senator ranked in the third with 11 percent support, followed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson
... a neurosurgeon who is under the delusion that being brilliant qualifies him to be president....
and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush at 8 and 5 percent support respectively.

#1  I know polls can be cooked to get results they want. So why isn't that happening if the powers that be hate Trump so much? Or are they being cooked? Or are his leads so big no cooking can hide the facts?

#2  More likely the latter. If it's so big and they're exposed again cooking the books, they're out of business (they can read the plummet in their MSM paymasters numbers/cred as well).

US Empire will pick 'socialist' Sanders to sell its wars: Analyst
[Iran Press TV] Independent Senator Bernie Sanders
...The only openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords...
will win the 2016 US presidential election since the Empire needs "a kinder, gentler way to sell its wars," predicts Daniel Patrick Welch, an American writer and political analyst.

"I think I am going to go on record here and predict that Bernie Sanders is going to be the next president of the United States. I'm not the first; Western Illinois University poll said this months ago [in November]," Welch told Press TV on Wednesday.

"But I think I understand how the game is rigged now. [The US] Empire needs a kinder, gentler way to sell its wars. [George W.] Bush was a disaster although they forced him down our throats for eight years, and Obama was a great -- you know, an empty suit to be sure, but that was perfect -- he did what he was told and made it sound compassionate to bomb the crap out of other countries," he added.

"Now the powers that be may have to take a hit, like a modest increase in minimum wage, some sort of readjusting of the social safety net for Americans in order to keep their game going, and Sanders can do that. He is the only one talking about Americans' real pain without challenging the wars, which he doesn't," Welch stated.

"So he doesn't scare them. So it's perfectly plausible that he could be the one to be put in office once the money lines up. And he will put a more human face while still posing as a fake socialist while taking money from Lockheed Martin and all of these other defense contractors which has supported strongly in his home state and nationally," he noted.

"Americans don't care, they don't give a damn about the bodies. It's so sad, but it's true. All they want is a bigger cut of the profit, from Empire and from wars. And it's a very small price for the warmongers to pay. If they're going to make trillions, they can spend a few hundred billion on keeping Americans from massive social unrest. And the stage is set for some sort of shift in how the pie is distributed," he pointed out.

"Again, it's sad thing to say but Americans do not care about the victims of their wars. They do care that they are working more and making less, and are tired and hungry and angry. And that's what motivates this circus we call voting in the United States," the analyst concluded.

Senator Sanders, who calls himself a "Democratic socialist," is seeking the Democratic Party's nomination for the presidential election.

According to a new poll, Sanders has significantly expanded his lead over Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as America's Blond Eminence and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another John Jay ...
in the key state of New Hampshire.

Sanders is now leading the former secretary of state by 27 percentage points in the Granite State, a new CNN/WMUR poll has found.

The Vermont senator is the favorite choice of 60 percent of likely Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire compared to 33 percent for Clinton.

#1  This guys an idiot. Sanders has shown no skill except appealing to naive kids and aging hippies. Trump will probably win the Pub nomination and his only fear of Sanders will be looking like a bully picking on a crazy old man when it comes to the debates. Any Republican vs Sanders will be a landslide.

Unfortunately the Republicans will not capitalize on that landslide if Trump wins because he isn't really looking out for the same things as either the Conservative Wing or the Establishment Wing of the Republican party.

#2  Yeah if Trump wins, we might get a Hillary buddy/clone as VP.

Trump and the Clintons have been way too close over the years. All the 'jabs' between the two are just Kabuki, I fear.

#3  #1 Problem is that neither wing has been effective. Maybe it is time to try something new.

Are you ready for the return of Anthony Weiner?
[AMERICANTHINKER] Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as America's Blond Eminence and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Jeremiah S. Black ...
's campaign vice chair and confidante, Huma Abedin, is at the center of a new documentary on her husband Anthony Carlos Danger Weiner
...aka Hot Dog Tony, the remarkably offensive sex maniac six-term New York congressman who resigned in 2011, then decided everybody had forgotten by 2013, when he decided to run for mayor of New York City...
's failed New York City mayoral campaign, potentially adding to the woes of the beleaguered Clinton presidential run.

As reported by the New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...
and highlighted on The Drudge Report, the movie Weiner will premier at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend, in theaters in May and on television in October, at the height of the campaign season. As The Times observes, "'Weiner' has become a source of heightened anxiety for Ms. Abedin and the Clinton campaign."

The movie project was originally intended to document Mr. Weiner's "spectacular political comeback," but as the New York Times columnist dryly notes, "[t]hings did not go quite according to plan."

The film instead focuses on "the implosion of Mr. Weiner's mayoral campaign and a wrenching inside account of the couple's interactions in the aftermath of his second explicit texting scandal."

Benghazi, Hillary's emails, and Bill's behavior, not to mention Hillary's robotic campaign personality, would be enough to sink many ordinary campaigns. As the Times continues:

But none of those controversies are as deeply personal or as potentially distracting to Mrs. Clinton's presidential campaign as the visceral film.

The Times notes that "Mrs. Clinton does not appear in the film ... but her presence is frequently felt." The column notes one scene in which Huma is pressured "to choose between remaining a Clinton insider and supporting her husband."
