Yes. The classification system is very complex. Compromise of Top Secret information will cause "exceptionally grave damage to national security." Release of Secret information will cause grave damage. Blabbing Confidential information will cause damage or be prejudicial to national security. For Official Use Only isn't actually a classification. It means it's for use only within the organization. Top Secret and Secret information may be further compartmented based on the need to protect sources and methods or strategy. The classification system is the same for U.S. and NATO intel agencies. The classification of the data is independent of the markings -- taking the markings off doesn't unclassify it. You can see that it's mind-numblingly complicated, way too complex for someone with a hazy understanding of the meaning of the word "is."
The former president was speaking in Las Vegas a presidential forum hosted by the Asian American Journalists Association when he was asked why his wife lied about her emails.
"This is the biggest load of bull I’ve ever heard," Clinton said during a lengthy response to the question.
He also threw two government officials -- FBI director James Comey and Sec. of State John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State... -- under the bus while defending Hillary. Too complicated is it? I held a TS/SCI for over a quarter century, try me. I teach medicine at a major university, try me.

I think I've got the basic idea. Hillary putting the launch codes on an unsecure server is a silly little mistake. "Guccifer" putting Nancy Pelosi's cellphone number on an unsecure server is a serious breach of national security.

Just recently she was shouting her standard "nothing marked classified in my emails!" trope. And, of course, this is literally true, since the word "classified" is not used as an actual classification marking. She'll never admit that, as Comey testified, her emails contained TS or S or C markings. And the Kool-Aid drinkers just keep gulping it down.

Emails from both Mills and Abedin recently obtained by Judicial Watch by way of a Freedom of Information Act request show that they did work to provide special services and favors on behalf of the Clinton Foundation as part of their duties to the State Department.
At least one of the 44 emails obtained by the Judicial Watch FIOA request shows that Hillary Clinton was aware of the activity. The Daily Caller story indicates that three federal prosecutors and agents of the FBI in the cities mentioned above are investigating possible violations of federal laws and regulations. Officially, neither the FBI nor the DOJ would confirm that there are any criminal probes into the Clinton Foundation. But, given the revelations from Judicial Watch, it would seem that such investigations are warranted.
In New York City, the investigation is being led by U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Preet Bharara. He has a record of many convictions involving Wall Street, banks and hedge fund firms. Bharara took down two prominent New York politicians, State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, a Democrat, and Republican Majority Leader for NY, Dean Skelos. However, Bill and Hillary Clinton are two very large fish when it comes to political power. Indicting them will not be easy, let alone convicting either. Especially as Hillary is running for president.

[MSN] A website tied to the hacking scandal of the Democratic Party has now posted a small batch of leaked emails from Republican campaigns and state GOP staffers. Rather more snoozy than the Dem emails.
The emails on the site, known as DCLeaks, appear to be from state party officials and former Republican presidential candidates, including Sen. Lindsey Graham ... the endangered South Carolina RINO... (R-S.C.). The messages range from June to October of 2015.
The DNC hacker or hackers known as Guccifer 2.0 used DC Leaks to promote leaks from a Clinton staffer's email to The Smoking Gun, though the hacker claimed not to have been involved with the theft of the messages.
Most of the messages coordinate campaign activities, solicit funds, or invite or RSVP to events. The archive is largely the procedural minutia of running campaigns or state parties.
The emails include a wide array of constituent email addresses. Many appear to be responses to mass-emails from concerned party supporters writing in to their delegates. One reply to a Stop Hillary PAC fundraising email targeting Democrats lack of support for the Benghazi commission reads, "Don't the Republicans have a majority in Congress? Isn't John It is not pronounced 'Boner!' Boehner ... the occasionally weepy leader of House Republicans... a Republican? What is the problem that you need my $36 to help you fight back."

It's still bad. The same principle applies: How can you trust people to run the government when they are so incompetent that they cannot even manage an email server? They don't even know what they don't know and they don't have sense enough to find out from somebody who does know. Stupidity is bad but stupidity combined with arrogance is really, really bad and extremely dangerous.
