Anti-Trump protester: 'Is this my last free birthday?'
File under "Life with Consequences"
[Al Jazeera] When Olivia Alsip travelled to the capital to protest against the inauguration of right-wing US President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
, she didn't imagine she would end the day behind bars and later face up to 80 years in prison.

Thousands of people journeyed from across the US to Washington, DC, to protest on the first day of Trump's presidency, January 20.

During the swearing-in, Alsip was among the more than 230 protesters enjugged
Please don't kill me!
when officers from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) blocked off a large area and hauled off nearly everyone.

"I am wondering if my 24th birthday next week will be my last as a free person," she says by telephone from reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,...
. "I've never in my life had such a painful and stressful experience. There are no words to convey the severity of this."

"Our experience in police custody [that day] was totally dehumanising. We were kettled, treated like animals and denied basic human rights
When they're defined by the state or an NGO they don't mean much...
and dignity," she recollects. "People were forced to urinate on the streets and denied water and food."

The arrests came after Black Bloc anarchists and anti-fascists clashed with police. Officers fired rubber bullets and tear gas at protesters.

Anti-Trump chants were occasionally drowned out by the thuds of sound grenades and smoke bombs.

Left behind was broken glass from the windows of cafes, restaurants and banks. Declarations of resistance marked the walls and pavements: "Make racists afraid again," and "F*ck Trump".

Images of a limousine in flames later made it onto television screens and the front pages of news websites around the world.

DHS Officers Humiliate Judges by Enforcing Immigration Laws, Declares Judge
[BREITBART] Judges are humiliated and dehumanized whenever they must enforce the nation’s immigration laws, according to a senior judge on the far-left Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The judge’s cry of outrage came when he could not block the orderly repatriation of an undocumented Democrat who has two drunk driving convictions, plus a U.S. wife and three children.

"We are unable to prevent [Andres] Magana Ortiz’s removal, yet it is contrary to the values of this nation and its legal system," complained Judge Stephen Reinhardt, who wishes to extend citizens’ rights to illegal foreign migrants colonists. He said:

We are compelled to deny Mr. Magana Ortiz’s request for a stay of removal because we do not have the authority to grant it. We are not, however, compelled to find the government’s action in this case fair or just. ...

The government’s decision to remove Magana Ortiz diminishes not only our country but our courts, which are supposedly dedicated to the pursuit of justice. Magana Ortiz and his family are in truth not the only victims. Among the others are judges who, forced to participate in such inhumane acts, suffer a loss of dignity and humanity as well. I concur as a judge, but as a citizen I do not.

The judge, who was appointed -- not elected -- in 1980 and is married to a former top leader in the ACLU, also lamented the authority of ordinary DHS agents to enforce the law despite protests from well-paid, high-status "civil rights" lawyers.

#1  Oh, yes, judge. We certainly need more illegal alien drunk drivers. They're why we fought the Revolution!

The aristocracy mourns. Hey, just resign, you won't face that humiliation to enforce the laws.

#6  You mean the black robed tyrants that sit in judgement and rule on a whim instead of law? Those idiots?

You are lucky we haven't dragged you idiots out of your court and done our own justice yet.

#8  The judge was appointed in 1980. That had to be jimmuh carter who appointed him then. Thanks, jimmuh!

So he's been sitting on that bench for 37 years now. He must be nearing retirement age. And he's sooooo sad that he doesn't get to write the law instead of just rule impartially on the written, constitutional will of the people. If he's so unhappy in his work maybe he should retire. Then we can get a Trump appointee to take his place.

#10  So the left is all up in arms. The immigration laws are not new, they have been in effect for years. The same congress slugs screaming about Trump and the DHS had 8 years to change the laws. The Mexican and Islamic immigrant issues were not fixed under Obama because they needed the battle cries against the right. They could have fixed this, but they chose not to. Now they blame Trump. Its all a shell game for both sides of congress. They all need to go. Except for Trey, Trey can stay....

#11  We have a bunch of "snowflake judges" whose feeling are hurt because they have to uphold the law? It is about time to start impeachment proceedings. These judges have contributed to the breakdown of the rule of law, contributed to lawlessness and diminished the Constitution.

#12  Its not too late Darth...

Not to encourage it but people have a real annoying habit of decorating streetlamp with tyrants and their minions.

And the robed princes of the realm are getting more and more tyrannical by the day.

#13  Sometimes I think Trey likes to hear his own slow drawl. I know he wants to say, "What...are you fucking stupid!?"
