DNC Party Members Turning Against Wasserman Schultz After IT Scandal
[FREEBEACON] Members of the Democratic Party are turning on Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz
...Congresswoman from Florida, the abrasive chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. She has been a politician since 1992, and prior to that was in training as a political science major. Her primary accomplishment seems to be that she's Jewish...
(D., Fla.) after an IT staffer scandal that only added to her unpopularity.

Democratic Party members are eager for Schultz to step down as part of their effort to rebrand, Politico reported.

Schultz resigned from her post as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee one year ago, after leaked emails revealed she and other party officials were trying to sabotage Sen. Bernie Sanders
...The only openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords...
' (I., Vt.) campaign. She was infamously booed by activists, who shouted "shame" at her during a Florida delegation breakfast speech.

Most recently, Schultz came under fire for employing Imran Awan, an IT staffer who has been under federal investigation since February for an equipment and data scam in the House. Schultz had only fired him when he attempted to flee the U.S. to his native Pakistain.

Awan was fired by Schultz six months after two dozen House Democrats fired four of his relatives and one friend who were all under investigation with him.

Schultz dismissed the negative media attention about Awan, claiming she was the victim of a "right wing media" attack. She said the attack was a result of anti-Moslem bigotry towards Awan and his family.

Schultz's response to the Awan scandal upset members of the DNC.

Minnesota Rep. Jason Lewis calls protest at his Twin Cities home dangerous
[STARTRIBUNE] Minnesota Rep. Jason Lewis is taking issue with protesters who showed up outside of his home.

The Wednesday morning protest at the first-term Republican congressman's suburban house was organized by Take Action Minnesota, a liberal advocacy group. Video footage posted on Lewis' Facebook page shows more than a dozen protesters chanting outside a home before delivering a large letter calling on Lewis to oppose cuts to Medicaid funding.

Lewis is a former conservative radio talk show host who won the 2nd Congressional District seat this fall. He called the protest a violation of his private property and "dangerous ramping up of rhetoric" that targeted his family.

A spokeswoman from Take Action Minnesota says Lewis should simply hold a town hall to meet with constituents who want to speak with him.

#3  Lewis should go ahead and hold the town hall meeting.

Just make sure there's a lot of security color camera mounted out of reach and well recorded for later broadcast showing how the demos behaves.

Lewis don't really need much of a speech, recycle an old one, and let the demos drown him out. Make sure there's plenty of cops around to protect Lewis from physical attacks and arrest those who try to physically harm others.

School letter says AP and Honors classes will be decided by race
[FOXNEWS] A Virginia high school sent a disturbing letter to parents and students announcing they would be selecting students for Advanced Placement and honors classes at least partly based on skin color, a concerned parent told Fox News.

Martin Luther King, Jr. must be turning over in his grave.

A parent forwarded me a copy of the letter sent from John Handley High School in Winchester.

"Through our collective work, advanced classes such as AP and Honors will have proportional representation," read the letter. "Proportional representation is 40% White, 35% Hispanic, 12% African American, 10% mixed race."

The letter went on to explain that public schools across the country "continue to see outcomes that are disproportionate by race and social class."

China-Japan-Koreas
Susan Rice Urges Donald Trump to ‘Tolerate Nuclear Weapons in North Korea’
[BREITBART] Former President Barack Obama
I am not a dictator!...
’s National Security adviser, Susan Rice, wants President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
to accept North Korea as a nuclear power.

"History shows that we can, if we must, tolerate nuclear weapons in North Korea -- the same way we tolerated the far greater threat of thousands of Soviet nuclear weapons during the Cold War," she wrote in a New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...
op-ed, criticizing the president’s "fire and fury" rhetoric in response to the escalating tensions between the two countries.

Rice urged Gen. John Kelly, White House chief of staff, to stop Trump, and she pointedly attacked Dr. Sebastian Gorka, the deputy assistant to the president.

"John Kelly, Mr. Trump’s chief of staff, must assert control over the White House, including his boss, and curb the Trump surrogates whipping up Cuban missile crisis fears," she wrote.

Rice complained that Trump’s rhetoric was "unprecedented and especially dangerous" and that America would have to be cautious about its response to Pyongyang.

She defended Obama’s actions in response to North Korea, insisting that his administration put them "on edge" by conducting joint military exercises with South Korea and introducing more economic sanctions.

This is blatant revisionism.Soviet nukes could could be 'tolerated' under a policy of deterrence.

However during the Cold War the left had always rejected deterrence as a policy that is too dangerous and too immoral to be acceptable.

In principle, accommodation of, if not surrender to the Soviets was regarded as morally preferable.

#8  Kathleen, maybe you should take an extended work leave (be term-limited) and read up on the Bill of Rights and the 2nd Amendment. The purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to prevent a tyrannical government from taking over.

Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Free individuals must protect themselves against the evil will of men, the mob and criminals, and a tyrannical state. The 2nd Amendment guarantees the other amendments.

We often hear about "fake news" today. I have often thought that if you are engaged in the spreading of propaganda and disinformation, you should not enjoy the protections of the 1st Amendment. However, it is fortunate that far wiser heads than mine have established the 1st Amendment which protects freedom of religion speech and the press. These freedoms are not to be abridged.

Some other quotes:

“When the law disarms good guys, bad guys rejoice.”
― Ted Nugent

Civil Wars happen when the victimized are armed. Genocide happens when they are not.”
― A.E. Samaan

The MSM might consider the following quote: “I'm all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let's start with typewriters.”
― Frank Lloyd Wright

Even lefty Seymour Hersh agrees that the Russian fable begin in the mind of Obama's CIA director.
[Spectator] A tool of the Muslim Brotherhood (during a stint in Saudi Arabia he says that he grew to admire Islam and the concept of jihad), Brennan refused to take his oath as CIA director on the Bible. His hatred for Michael Flynn and Trump stems in large part from his Islamophilia and his nostalgia for the socialism and the atheism of the Old Soviet Union.
...
While running this operation of political espionage, he was auditioning for a job under Hillary and turning CIA headquarters into a branch office of her campaign.

In this hothouse atmosphere of pro-Hillary partisanship, any and all contacts between the Trump campaign and anyone even remotely connected to Russia became occasions for "unmaskings."

Instead of exposing this blatant political espionage, the media became a conduit for it. Hersh notes that the New York Times was in effect under the editorship of John Brennan last year. He could plant any smear he wanted against Trump on its front page.

It is obvious that Brennan’s circle was responsible for many if not most of the criminal leaks. Why doesn’t the FBI raid Brennan’s home and rifle through his records? The reason that won’t happen is that the ruling class and deep state, which are composed largely of aging radicals, protects traitors while punishing patriots -- a conclusion to which the improbable testimony of Seymour Hersh adds still more credence.

The Real Story Of That Lynch-Clinton Tarmac Meeting Gets Even Stranger
[Hot Air] When we last checked in on newly released information regarding that infamous tarmac meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton, we learned that the media wasn’t terribly interested in discussing the matter any more than absolutely necessary. But as reporters continue to dig through the trove of Justice Department emails obtained by the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, we find out that there were some people who were very interested in talking. The people in question would be Lynch’s staff and they were having a flurry of discussions with none other than the folks at James Comey’s office.

You’ll recall that all of this was taking place only days before Comey would hold his bizarre press conference where essentially cleared Hillary Clinton of any criminal wrongdoing in the private email server scandal. (Only to famously reopen the investigation later.) So if it was really just a casual, chance meeting to discuss grandchildren and golf, why would the Attorney General’s office be sending out a flurry of messages to the FBI Director’s office? It turns out that one of Lynch’s own attorneys was editing talking points for the White House in terms of how to address questions from the press and another of her people was sending talking points to the FBI.

He plane was the most secure from monitoring place possible for the meeting, it wasn't happenstance, it was coordinated very carefully!

Defending the Indefensible: Hatch defends McConnell against Trump's attacks
[The Hill] Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) on Thursday defended Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell after President Trump ratcheted up his criticism of the Kentucky Republican.

"[McConnell] has been the best leader we’ve had in my time in the Senate, through very tough challenges. I fully support him," Hatch, the most senior Republican senator, wrote in a tweet.

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), who has emerged as a vocal critic of Trump, also chimed in with support for McConnell.

The backing for McConnell came as Trump on Thursday escalated his attack against the GOP leader for failing to pass his legislative agenda.

Democrats Threaten Gov’t Shutdown To Block Border Wall
[BREITBART] Democrats are threatening to shutter many government agencies on October 1 unless President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
gives up his popular campaign promise to build the border wall against Mexico, according to Politico.

In response, Trump’s deputies are offering political compromises to Democrats, including a rise in domestic spending, says Politico:

The White House is pushing a deal on Capitol Hill to head off a government shutdown that would lift strict spending caps long opposed by Democrats in exchange for money for President Donald Trump’s border wall with Mexico, multiple sources said.

Marc Short, the White House’s director of legislative affairs, met with top staffers from both parties on the Senate Appropriations Committee last week to make a hard sell for the proposal, the sources said.

Short -- who said the border funding would be used for a "double fence" -- stressed that the White House is insisting on a down payment for construction this fall. Short also lobbied for a big budget increase for the Pentagon, another priority for Trump.

If Democrats block the spending plan, many government agencies will have to send their employees home. But national security agencies, and various aid programs, such as the Social Security program, would keep operating.

#4  Tough to blame the Dems with the MSM on their side. That's what always paralyzed the Republicans before. But Trump is different. He was elected for his promise to build a wall. Time for a showdown.

#5  Shut it down you whiny, hysterical nut-cases.
Why are you all on the rag at the same time, all the time?

I Hate democrats.
A vile mind disease it is.

#6  Note that they never threaten to "shut the government down" in, say, the first half of April.

#7  Democrats are threatening to shutter many government agencies on October 1 unless President Donald Trump gives up his popular campaign promise to build the border wall against Mexico, according to Politico.

And I'll raise you the permanent cut-off of the funding from two large federal agencies and deport 5 mil illegals (in other words Democrat voters).
