Pakistan Continues Missile Attack On Nangarhar
Nangarhar provincial officials on Monday raised concerns over Pakistan's cross-border shelling, which has been ongoing for two days.

Security officials from the 201st Selab Military Corps said that Afghan security forces are waiting for central government to give orders for them to respond to the missile attacks.

Provincial council and civil society members have called on government to act.

"Our request from government and NATO is to help forces respond to Pakistan," said Zabiullah Zamari, a provincial council member.

"We have witnessed such shelling in the past as well and efforts have been made to undermine Afghanistan's national sovereignty," said Arshad Raghand, a civil society member.

Security officials in Nangarhar said that in the past two days, sporadic battles have occurred between Afghan forces and Pakistan military.

Nangarhar provincial governor's spokesman Attaullah Khogyani confirmed the reports and said security forces are waiting for orders from government on how to respond to the missile attacks.

"Whatever is needed we've done with the guidance of the central government and I can't necessarily share everything with the media," Khogyani said.

This latest round of alleged attacks has reportedly led to the death of at least one Afghan soldier. Two others have been wounded.

Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
a military chief of the Taliban group in northern Kunduz province of Afghanistan.

According to the security authorities, the military chief, Qari Salim, was arrested during a special night raid.

Qari Salim was a key leader of the Taliban group who played a vital role in the collapse of Kunduz city last year.

The officials further added it took at least a week for the Afghan special forces to search and arrest Qari Salim.

At least two security guards of Qari Salim have also been arrested by the security forces during the operation.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the report so far.

This comes as the Taliban group launched a major offensive to take control of key areas of Kunduz province, inclduing the strategic Kunduz city.

The Talibs seized the control of the city late in mid-2015 after launched coordinated attacks on the city.

However,
denial ain't just a river in Egypt...
the Afghan Special Operations Forces have retaken the control of Kunduz city from the Talibs earlier in the month of October after the city was in control of the bully boyz for almost a week.

The Taliban murderous Moslems were accused of horrific criminal activities after they seized control of the city, including murders, rape, kidnappings, use of civilians as shields, looting of public and private properties.

20 militants killed as major Taliban offensive repulsed in Farah
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 20 Lions of Islam were killed after a major Taliban offensive was repulsed in western Farah province of Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said the Talibs launched the offensive on an Afghan National Army (ANA) base in Anar Dara district.

A statement by MoD said the offensive was repulsed by the Afghan cops by receiving close-air support from the Afghan Air Force.

MoD said at least 16 Lions of Islam were also maimed during the clash while the remaining Lions of Islam fled the area.

The Talibs group has not commented regarding the report so far.

Farah is among the relatively volatile provinces in western Afghanistan where anti-government armed krazed killer groups are actively operating in a number of its districts and often carry out insurgency activities.

The attack on the army base in Anar Dara district comes as the group has launched coordinated attacks across the country following the announcement of their spring offensive earlier this month.

#1  Islam is killing itself. The century is only 16 years in and we have ...is it another whole 84 more years to go until the close of this century?

And Islam will be busy busy busy killing Moslems generally, and a few here and there in other places, but the majority of people Moslems DO kill are other Moslems? What IS the total of all the wars in the world right now concerning Moslems being involved ? Someone should notice and count the statistical number of suicides Islam pursues avidly, one might even say with Religious ZEAL.
Moslems apparently LIKE to kill OTHER Moslems...even more than anyone else.

Attrition-ally speaking at some point over the coming decades Moslems are going to run out of other Moslems TO kill. Or am I wrong. Suicide for Islam? All Islam seems to be doing is thrashing around while it.... dies. Do you suppose it is because deep down Islam realizes it IS dying and wants to die because it realizes it is a religion with no place to really GO anymore ...except into the grave? A pointless and meaningless Religion with nothing to offer the world and itself.
And it WANTS to die.

Egyptian police fire tear gas, birdshot at Cairo protesters
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Police fired tear gas and birdshot on Monday to disperse hundreds of demonstrators calling on President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi to step down over his government’s decision to surrender control over two strategic Red Sea islands to Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
The violence in Mesaha square in Cairo’s Dokki district took place as thousands of police and soldiers were deployed Monday across the Egyptian capital ahead of the planned demonstrations over the islands, a thorny issue which has already sparked the largest protests since el-Sissi assumed power nearly two years ago.

Following the arrest of dozens of activists and journalists in recent days, riot police backed by armored vehicles on Monday took up positions in Cairo’s Tahrir Square, the epicenter of Egypt’s 2011 uprising, They also deployed on the ring road, downtown and at a square where hundreds of Islamist protesters were killed when security forces broke up their sit-in in August 2013.

Many of the protest organizers’ gathering points were sealed off by police, including the doctors’ and journalists’ unions in central Cairo. Pedestrians near the Press Syndicate were stopped by police, who asked for IDs and about their destination before turning many of them away. Minivans loaded with plainclothes coppers were also deployed in the likely flashpoints.

The sheer number of coppers on the streets and fear of arrest prevented protesters from gathering, forcing them to trickle out from designated gathering points to assemble elsewhere. Fearing another round of unrest after years of turmoil, many city residents and shopkeepers were hostile toward the protesters on Monday.

However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
a group of some 500 protesters led by prominent activists managed to gather at the mostly residential Mesaha square. Their chants of "leave, leave" directed at el-Sissi, echoed across the square, along with "bread, freedom, the islands are Egyptian." Police in full riot gear arrived 10 minutes later and immediately fired tear gas and birshot. The protesters fled and later regrouped in smaller groups at nearby streets.

From their apartments’ balconies, the square’s pro-el-Sissi residents shouted "traitors" at the protesters below and pelted them with water.

Later, plainclothes coppers were seen by the AP news hound kicking and slapping protesters they incarcerated
Youse'll never take me alive coppers!... [BANG!]... Ow!... I quit!
. The AP news hound also saw truckloads of protesters in police custody.

"Giving up our land is the final straw," said one protester, 16-year-old Youssef el-Agouza. "He (el-Sissi) has crossed all lines."

The military said in a video released late Sunday that troops were deployed to protect "vital and important installations" and deal with anyone who tries to "harm the people’s interests or attempt to ruin their happiness" on Sinai Liberation Day, a national holiday marking the completion of Israel’s withdrawal from the peninsula in 1982.

Arabia
al-Qaeda abandons Mukalla to Soddies
ADEN: Yemeni troops have recaptured a key port city from Al-Qaeda militants who held it for a year, in what a Saudi-led coalition hailed Monday as a major victory in which over 800 extremists were killed.

The assault on the southeastern city of Mukalla, home to some 200,000 people, was part of a wider counter-offensive against the extremists launched by pro-government forces last month after a year in which they had focused their firepower on Shiite Houthi rebels who control the capital.

It comes as government and rebel delegations hold peace talks in Kuwait.
At the talks, which opened last Thursday, UN envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed said that “significant differences... remain but nonetheless there is consensus on the need to make peace.”

The peace talks and US President Barack Obama’s visit have contributed to a change in “strategic priorities,” with Al-Qaeda back at the top, according to the Soufan Group consultancy.

Further west in Shabwa province, a US drone on Monday struck two vehicles carrying Al-Qaeda militants near the town of Azzan — from which the extremists have fled — killing nine extremists, a provincial official said.

“We entered the city center and were met by no resistance from Al-Qaeda militants who withdrew west,” a military officer told AFP by telephone from Mukalla.

The officer, who requested anonymity, said residents had appealed to the extremists to spare the city the destruction of fighting and to withdraw.

Troops deployed in Mukalla on Monday and set up checkpoints across the city, security officials said.

“The operation resulted... in the deaths of more than 800 Al-Qaeda members and some of their leaders, while some others fled,” the coalition commanders said.

Bangladesh
Leading gay rights activist hacked to death in Bangladesh
[WASHINGTONPOST] Police in Bangladesh say unknown assailants brutally killed two men, one of whom was a gay rights activist associated with the country's first LGBT magazine.
I notice nobody's hacking leading Islamists to death. Until that starts happening, this sort of thing wll continue to accelerate.
That victim was identified as Xulhaz Mannan, a U.S. Agency for International Development employee who also served as an editor for the publication Roopbaan, according to the News Agency that Dare Not be Named.

The second victim was identified as Tanay Mojumdar. The attack occurred Monday in Mannan's second-floor apartment in Dhaka. Police said the two men were hacked to death.

News reports described Mojumdar as a close friend of Mannan's. A professional contact, who asked to have her name withheld, told The Washington Post that Mojumdar was a "community organizer who conducted leadership programs."

In a statement, Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat, the U.S. ambassador to Bangladesh, said she was "devastated" by the killings.

"Xulhaz was more than a colleague to those of us fortunate to work with him at the U.S. Embassy," the statement said. "He was a dear friend. Our prayers are with Xulhaz, the other victim, and those injured in the attack. We abhor this senseless act of violence and urge the Government of Bangladesh in the strongest terms to apprehend the criminals behind these murders."

The Grand Turk
Turkey: Militants deported
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
has deported more than 3,300 foreigners suspected of links to murderous Moslems groups, particularly ISIS myrmidons, and another 41,000 foreigners have been barred from entering the country as part of its fight against the myrmidon group, a top official said Monday.

Turkish profiling teams have also interviewed 9,500 people upon their arrival in Turkey, Ibrahim Kalin, a front man for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him...
, told news hounds. Some 2,000 of them were denied entry as a result.

Around 2,770 suspects, including 1,232 foreigners, have been caught in police sweeps and 954 of them are being prosecuted, Kalin said.

He didn’t give further details. Turkish officials have refused to provide a breakdown of the murderous Moslems suspects by nationality or give details on the countries they have been deported back to.

Separately, Turkey’s state-news agency, citing unnamed military sources, said close to 900 alleged ISIS murderous Moslems have been killed since January in Turkish artillery and air strikes against the group in Syria. The agency said 492 of the murderous Moslems were killed in air raids while another 370 were killed by artillery fire. The agency didn’t specify how the figures were obtained and it wasn’t possible to verify them independently.

Turkey, long accused of turning a blind eye to the Death Eaters crossing into Syria, has now taken a larger role in the fight against ISIS, opening a key air base in southern Turkey to the US-led coalition fighting the Death Eaters and reinforcing its border to prevent infiltrations.

Suicide bomber kills seven in Baghdad market: officials
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A jacket wallah detonated explosives in a Baghdad market on Monday, killing at least seven people, Iraqi security and medical officials said.

The blast in the Baghdad Jadida area of the capital’s east also maimed at least 30 people, they said.

Brigadier General Saad Maan said the suicide kaboom hit a perfume shop in the area, while other officials only said that it targeted a market.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, but ISIS frequently carries out suicide kabooms in Iraq.

ISIS overran large areas north and west of Baghdad in 2014, although Iraqi forces have since regained significant ground from the murderous Moslems.

The forces of Evil still control a large part of western Iraq, and they are able to carry out frequent bombings in government-held areas.

in a flashpoint northern Iraqi town that has been hit by deadly fighting between Kurdish and Turkmen forces, officials said.

Fighting broke out at the weekend in Tuz Khurmatu between the autonomous Kurdish region’s peshmerga forces and Turkmen members of the Hashed al-Shaabi militia umbrella organization for the second time in six months.

"Clashes were renewed sporadically in Tuz, but it was not like yesterday," said Mohammed Koja, the deputy governor of Salaheddin province where the town is located.

Koja said that mortar rounds and rocket fire had killed one person and maimed four.

A police colonel confirmed the toll but it was unclear which side killed the civilian.

The initial festivities between Turkmen and Kurdish forces began at around midnight Saturday and continued into Sunday.

Hadi al-Ameri, the commander of the Badr militia, announced at a presser on Sunday afternoon that a ceasefire deal had been reached.

But a witness in the town said gunfire and periodic kabooms could still be heard.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi ordered the Joint Operations Command to take "all necessary measures" to end the festivities, a statement from his office said.

And he urged the leaders of the forces involved to "focus efforts against the common terrorist enemy represented by the ISIS gangs," the statement said, using an Arabic acronym for ISIS.

Both the peshmerga and the Turkmen fighters are battling ISIS, which overran large areas north and west of Baghdad in 2014.

But Kurdish forces and the Hashed al-Shaabi are vying for influence in some areas, a contest that has led to violence in Tuz Khurmatu.

The latest fighting came after unrest in Tuz Khurmatu last November that began as a dispute at a checkpoint escalated into festivities inside the town.

Dozens of homes were burned, and the town has been split between Kurdish and Turkmen areas, with neighborhood minority residents moving back across the ethnic divide.

Baghdad turned to the Hashed al-Shaabi, which is dominated by Iran-backed Shiite militias, to help stem the hard boys’ 2014 advance and later push them back.

Kurdish forces also battled the faceless myrmidons in the north, but have largely fought independently of federal troops.

"We are ready to withdraw from Tuz if they withdraw"

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Monday the leader in the paramilitary Peshmerga force Hassan Bahran revealed, that the Kurdish forces are ready to withdraw from Tuz Khurmatu in Salahuddin Province if the forces of al-Hashd al-Turkmani militia withdrew from the district.

Bahran said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Peshmerga forces and al-Hashd al-Turkmani have to withdraw from the district, and a federal military force should come to impose security [procedures] in Tuz District,” pointing out that, “The Peshmerga forces are ready to withdraw from the district if al-Hashd al-Turkmani withdrew.”

Bahran also called the Peshmerga forces and al-Hashd al-Turkmani to carry out military operations against ISIS and not against each other, while asked them to liberate al-Bashir area from ISIS militants.

IDF nabs Hamas suspects in Hebron
[IsrelTimes] Israeli forces locked away
Drop the rod and step away witcher hands up!
four Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, suspects in Hebron Monday morning, hours before thousands of Israelis, including a number of far-right ministers, were slated to visit the flashpoint West Bank city for a ceremony.

The raids took place in Hebron’s Abu Sneineh neighborhood and in the nearby village of Dhahriyah, the IDF said. The suspects were handed over to security officials for questioning.

The IDF said it conducted the West Bank sweep in anticipation of the thousands of Jewish worshipers and visitors to Hebron’s Tomb of the Patriarchs -- a site revered by Jews and Muslims as the burial place of Abraham -- during the week-long Jewish festival.

Islamist militants behead Canadian man in Philippines
[Chicago Tribune] A severed head was left Monday on a street in the southern Philippines, authorities said, five hours after a ransom deadline set by Islamist Death Eaters holding Western hostages and others. Canada's prime minister identified the victim as a 68-year-old Canadian.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said John Ridsdel of Calgary, Alberta, was killed in a "cold-blooded murder" by the hard boys. Trudeau said Canada would work with the Philippine government and international partners to bring those responsible to justice.

The beheading underscored fears of widening violence by Islamist guerrillas, known as the Abu Sayyaf
...also known as al-Harakat al-Islamiyya, an Islamist terror group based in Jolo, Basilan and Zamboanga. Since its inception in the early 1990s, the group has carried out bombings, kidnappings, murders, head choppings, and extortion in their uniquely Islamic attempt to set up an independent Moslem province in the Philippines. Abu Sayyaf forces probably number less than 300 cadres. The group is closely allied with remnants of Indonesia's Jemaah Islamiya and has loose ties with MILF and MNLF who sometimes provide cannon fodder...
group, as it forges possible allegiances with the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
It also raised fears of other execution-style killings among those held. Abu Sayyaf has taken hostages for decades - and killed captives - as part of a rebellion it has claimed to be waging on behalf of the Muslim minority in Asia's only predominantly Roman Catholic nation. The Philippine government has denounced the Abu Sayyaf group as a terrorist organization that also operates more like a criminal gang, engaging in kidnapping for ransom, extortion and drug trafficking, among other crimes.

#1  They got their start a little earlier than the 90's. But a great outline. The leaders were mujaheddin fighters recruited to fight the soviets. When they returned they formed first the MNLF then the MILF and then the Abu sayyaff. The plan for the islamics in Mindanao was for the MNLF to fight and the reach a peace agreement, then a faction will break away, the MILF, and continue the violence. Once the MILF reach a peace agreement the Abu Sayyaff (ASG) will kick in and continue the cycle. The ASG is hard core terrorist/criminal folks. They are hard to control as a group. The MNLF try and the soddies control through funding and leadership. But every once in a while they run on their own. I'm not sure if this was a directed beheading or the ASG running on their own. In any event the next course of action is for the Canadians to hunt and kill every ASG member that partisapated in the kidnapping.

#3  Ya I suspect the Canadians will not retaliate. When they killed Gene Gurrerro the same way, the US killed or captured everyone involved. All of them.

[ENGLISH.ALMANAR.LB] Hezbollah mujahidin and the Syrian army soldiers repelled an infiltration attempt carried out by the gunnies in Jarajir barrens in Qalamoun in Damascus countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon the murderous Moslems.

The Islamic Resistance fighters and the Syrian military also targeted the gunnies at Zamrani and Qosaira crossings to ban them from backing the infiltrating groups.

The Syrian army units, backed by air force, continued cashing terrorist organizations across the country, targeting their vehicles and dens.

The Syrian army’s air force on Monday carried out Arclight airstrikes on convoys of vehicles and fortified positions for ISIS terrorist organization northeast of Palmyra city in Homs province, a military source told SANA.

The source said that the Arclight airstrikes inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS gunnies in personnel and equipment.

Sweida

An army unit targeted ISIS gatherings in Tolol al-Fadeen in the northeast countryside of Sweida province, killing a number of gunnies and destroying an armored vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun, as part of the Army’s operations to cut off the supply routes of ISIS coming from Iraq towards the Syrian Badyia (desert), according to a military source.

ISIS losing ground to Syrian rebels near Turkish border
[ARA News] ALEPPO – Subsequent to fierce clashes with militant fighters of Islamic State (ISIS), Syrian rebel groups were able to regain control of several areas in the northern province of Aleppo, killing a number of jihadis during the fighting, local and military sources reported on Monday.

Local activists confirmed that this came in conjunction with the Turkish artillery bombardment on ISIS locations in the villages and towns near Syria-Turkey borderline.

Speaking to ARA News in Aleppo, rebel spokesman Saleh al-Zein said that rebel groups, including the 1st regiment fighters, the Sultan Murad Brigade and the 13th Squad were able to recapture the town of Kafr Ghan after heavy fighting with ISIS militants, during which they killed a number of jihadi militants and injured several others.

ISIS insurgents responded to the rebels-led attack by targeting their gatherings within the town of Kafr Ghan with a car bomb attack, killing and wounding several rebel fighters.

ARA News have no precise information about the death toll in rebels’ ranks.

The rebel spokesman added: “Our advancement came in conjunction with Turkish artillery fire on ISIS headquarters in the towns of al-Raee, Jarez and Hour al-Naher, causing the terror group heavy losses in manpower and equipment.”

In the meantime, ISIS jihadis launched a counter attack on the outskirts of Tel Hussein, but rebel fighters were able to deter the group’s offensive, forcing them to retreat to their positions inside the al-rare town, according to al-Zein.

ISIS was able two weeks ago to seize control of the strategic town of al-Raee in northern Aleppo subsequent to fierce battles with rebel fighters.

Rebel faction are now cracking down on ISIS militants in al-Raee, amid continuous attempts to cut the group’s supply lines in the bordering towns with Turkey, in order to compel ISIS to withdraw from the region.

Kurds under fire in Aleppo
[ARA News] ALEPPO – Subsequent to the heavy shelling led by Islamist rebels on the Kurdish neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsoud in Syria’s northern city of Aleppo, a relative calm prevailed in the area before the regime’s air force renewed airstrikes on the neighborhood and kill dozens of civilians, local sources reported on Monday. Moreover, people in the besieged Kurdish neighborhood suffer severe shortage of basic needs and medicine.

Islamists Punish Civilians
The Kurds in Sheikh Maqsoud suffer from the absence of many services as a result of the blockade imposed by Islamist rebel groups on their district, mainly by the Nusra Front (al-Qaeda branch in Syria).

Speaking to ARA News, Luqman Ismail, one of the stranded citizens in Sheikh Maqsoud, said that electricity outage continues for nearly three years because of the barbaric bombardment led by Islamist rebels on the main network of power outside the district.

“These groups are apparently punishing the people of Sheikh Maqsoud for their support to the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), who are engaged in fighting with Islamist rebels around the city of Aleppo,” he reported.

“People now depended on power generators that work only 4-5 hours per day. We also suffer from the lack of fuel to run these generators,” Ismail added.

Bombing Water Wells
Sabah Alo, a 30-yrear-old woman from the Kurdish district, told ARA News that the water station had been under control of Islamists for a more than a year. “That’s why we suffer from water scarcity in the area.”

“Also, there were two water wells on the outskirts of the neighborhood but one of them was targeted by terrorists and completely destroyed,” she said.

“Since water’s shortage, people resorted to the movable tankers to secure clean water for drinking,” Alo told ARA News.

Diseases Spread Among Civilians
With the approaching of summer and inability of removing the garbage out of the neighborhood, diseases spread among civilians as insects and rats filled in the place. People have appealed to the humanitarian organizations to help them receive pesticides and medicines.

Speaking to ARA News in Sheikh Maqsoud, Laila Hamo, a Kurdish citizen, said that flies, mosquitoes and cockroaches as well as mice and rats fill the district. “Due to the blockade imposed by these barbaric groups [Islamist rebels], there is no route leading to the landfill to throw the garbage,” she said.

Hamo pointed out that various kinds of diseases spread among civilians, including skin diseases, and bacteria received from the water tankers, appealing to the United Nations and relief organizations to hastily intervene and save people’s lives.

On April 17, Syrian rebel groups launched indiscriminate attacks on the Kurdish neighborhood in Aleppo, killing at least 18 civilians, including seven children, five women and injured 68, Kurdish officials told Human Rights Watch.

“Islamist rebels think that they could easily take control of the Kurdish neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsoud; they must know that the Kurds do not trust the majority of Syrian opposition forces,” Khorshid Abdi, Kurdish journalist based in Aleppo, told ARA News.

“The Human Rights Watch and UN should bear their responsibility regarding Islamists-led attacks on the Kurdish residential neighborhoods in Aleppo,” he said. “Islamists must lift the siege imposed on our people in order to receive humanitarian aid, especially food and medicine.”

“What the barbaric Islamists have done to Kurds in these five years has exceeded the regime’s suppression against them over four-decades,” he concluded.

ISIS claims responsibility for a car bomb blast in Damascus
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] ISIS Death Eaters grabbed credit for detonating a car laden with explosives near a Syrian army checkpoint in the capital on Monday, a news agency close to the Death Eaters said.

State media earlier reported at least five were killed and 20 injured when a boom-mobile went kaboom! near a Syrian army checkpoint in the Sayeda Zeinab area, south of Damascus.

Amaq news agency affiliated to the Death Eaters did not give details beyond saying the group was responsible for the bombing, the third such bombing attack this year.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights put the corpse count at eight. It had no immediate word on whether there were civilians among the dead.

The shrine contains the grave of Zeinab, a venerated granddaughter of the Prophet Mohammad, and is known for its glistening golden onion-shaped dome.

An AFP correspondent said he heard ambulance sirens wailing through the streets of Damascus on their way to Sayyida Zeinab.
The area around the shrine, which is heavily secured with regime checkpoints hundreds of meters away to prevent vehicles from approaching, has been hit by ISIS several times this year.

A string of ISIS bombings near the shrine in February left 134 people dead, most of them civilians, according to the Observatory.

And in January, another attack claimed by ISIS killed 70 people.

Lebanese Shiite bully boy group Hezbollah cited the threat to Sayyida Zeinab as a principal reason for its intervention in the civil war on the side of Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
