Baltimore Deputy Police Commissioner, Wife Robbed At Gunpoint
But INASH.
Police say one of Baltimore’s newest deputy police commissioners and his wife were robbed at gunpoint.

The Baltimore Sun reports that Deputy Commissioner Daniel Murphy and his wife were approached by four men in an SUV at about 9 p.m. Friday near Patterson Park.

Police say the men announced it was a robbery, showed a gun and fled with a wallet, a purse, cash and multiple cellphones.

Police say no one was injured.

Antifa causes disturbances long after most Proud Boys leave Portland rally
[Washington Examiner] PORTLAND, Oregon ‐ While the Proud Boys rally to "End Domestic Terrorism" at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park came and went within a short amount of time, members of antifa continued to stay out in the streets of "Rose City."

Scheduled to start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, the "End Domestic Terrorism" rally coordinated by former InfoWars staffer Joe Biggs ended at around noon, with a majority of the group choosing to march across the nearby bridge.

One rallygoer, who did not want to be identified out of fear for his safety, told the Washington Examiner he decided to attend because he wants antifa to be recognized as a domestic terrorist group, saying they have "been committing a lot of violence, and nothing is being done about ... they have rhetoric thinking ICE members are Nazis, and that's just not true."

With the rallygoers gone, antifa and counterprotesters, who vastly outnumbered the right-wing group, stayed in the park and spread out into the downtown area.

Often ignoring police commands to stay on the sidewalks, the antifa members marched around and engaged in small confrontations with individuals who were perceived or proclaimed to be against antifa. One case resulted in police using pepper balls and arresting a man on the counterprotest side who had advocated for fights throughout the day.

#2  Often ignoring police commands to stay on the sidewalks, the antifa

All the very best conservatives have assured me that all cops are heroes, and not just a bunch of uniformed bureaucratic hacks looking out for their taxpayer-funded pensions.

The same taxpayers to whom they have no "duty to protect" (the same taxpayers who do have a duty to pay for their pensions of course)

Their fortitude in the face of being ignored was very heroic.

#3  Proud boys should announce they are going somewhere and then not show up. It might be played as cowardly but it would cause Antifa to spend time and money preparing again and again for each false alarm, it would also increase the chances teh rabid Antifa folks would just attack anyone when they couldn't get to the Proud Boys which would chip away at their public relations like a sledgehammer.

Cop-hating mob at Brooklyn housing project injures three NYPD officers
[NYP] Roving, cop-hating mobs erupted in violence, taunts and gunfire in Brooklyn overnight into Sunday, leaving three officers with minor injuries.

At least some of the injuries were caused by "air mail," objects thrown down at cops from rooftops, police at the scene in Bedford-Stuyvesant told The Post.

By early Sunday, eight people had been arrested on charges of disorderly conduct.

The violence came after a series of water dousing attacks on NYPD officers throughout the city this summer.

"Straight up cowards!" one man in the crowd there shouted at cops at just after midnight. "You don’t know how to do anything you f‐g coward!"One of the cops injured Saturday night had to be hoisted onto a gurney by medics, who rushed him from the sidewalk outside Marcy Houses at around 11:10 p.m.

#1  You don’t know how to do anything you...

Was the guy right ? What kind of people are being selected by the police bureaucracy to protect and serve ? Returning aggression with violence is the supposed to be a biological prerogative of a fighter. The moment you face violence or threat from a punk, gone is any consideration of your pension or what you will say later to a tribunal of faggots. Your body replies by itself. Unless you're frozen by fear. This is like basic stuff to look for in recruitment and training.

If fighting men are not employed as cops, who is ? There was a time when an attack on a uniform was followed by an all out open season on the aggressors, and everybody knew not to touch a cop.

Forgive me, but if I were an American taxpayer, I would demand some good old fashioned police brutality for my money.

Here's why my fellow millennials are seduced by socialism
[NYP] Socialism is taking my generation by storm. But just like a hurricane, socialism didn’t gain traction overnight.

It’s important to look at the typical millennial trajectory, and why unprecedented government intervention into our daily lives is now widely seen as the only solution to the problems that bedevil us as a generation.

Millennials grew up in an age of college-prep academics, where the only choice was to go to a college or university. We took this journey on the faith that a college education would give us the necessary skills to kick-start our careers.

After graduation, we quickly found out that our alma maters did little to prepare us to be job-ready. Millions of young Americans are now trapped in underemployment or unemployment in their industry of choice.

Just as we get our first student-loan bill, we find ourselves navigating unpaid and low-paid internships that are often a dead end professionally.

Moving to a large metro area becomes a necessity; most of the jobs created since the Great Recession are in a handful of urban areas. Trouble is, these areas are wildly unaffordable.

The next predictable step is working a service-industry job that doesn’t require a degree while trying to get set up in a city with job openings in our fields. Yet a booming job market often also means a housing horror show. Misguided housing policies in places like New York, Los Angeles, Washington and San Francisco have created such a tight market that it is often financially impossible for a young person to move there.

Still, we persist, often with parental help and significant struggle. Eventually, we get a job that previous generations probably wouldn’t envy. We pay through the nose for health insurance, have zero job security and pray we advance as soon as possible. Most of us, contrary to popular belief, try to fight our latte-obsessed, avocado-toast-addled, entitled-youngster image.

#13  Snivel, get a Kleenex. College is not a work program. It is there to create an environment to enrich the brain. They think the world owe them something, we don't. They seem to think that hanging out in a frat house or dorm room studying college courses is somehow paying their dues for a good life. Its not! Welcome to the real world, America IS the world of dreams where anything is possible and what the millennials forget is the rest of the sentence, "If your willing to work for it", and college is not work.

#19  When you are talking about what went wrong with successive generations to get here, you must also consider the slow deviation from character consciousness that occurred in the prosperity after the last great war.

The Chomsky brand of education, modern psychiatry and systematized parenting overseen by an increasingly paranoid nanny-state. The simultaneous rise of alt-religion. Acceptance of teen sex, hallucinogens and paraphernalia as a 'part of growing up'. The replacing of the Sunday sermon with 'Santa Barbara' reruns.

You may mind me saying it, but the idiot adherence to mercenary politics disguised as socialism that we see in American youth today is due to the purely suicidal influence of Godlessness. An evil influence of the sort that gone out of a body, seeks an empty place and returning to find one, swept and tidied by ritalin and 'experts', brings with it seven others. And the end of that is even worse.

From what I understand of Americans, the very element of your people lay in hard work. Making your lives count, laying foundations, building and inventing the future for yourselves and others. A society that never much cared for who's in office, because you put the food on your table, not some clown in DC.

The current trend though, is to wait for a technical messiah, a superhuman savior 'with a plan for everything', some intellectual and moral giant that shall take away years of troubles and return gladness and relief just by his/her presence. One can expect this attitudinal lethargy from people of a third world shithole with a history of idol and nature worship, but America was a Christian nation built by its peoples out of nothing but rock and dirt, with no one but God smiling down on the farmer, the miner, the railroad worker...

Today's young America looks down upon the God-fearing, any mention of Jesus, any dialogue on the difference between holy and profane is considered puerile in this time of Hawkings and Hitchens.

There's no way the mental health of the next generation will not be even worse. I just find it a terrible waste.

It can't be turned around without God and only politics. I think people should make the most of the times of Trump, push for a return and appreciation for christian values, emblems and practices. Watch those enemies crumble like the walls of Jericho then.

Monckton of Brenchley to sue Warmongers for libel
from Monckton's letter
[WattsUpWithThat] "On 13 August 2019, three UC Merced faculty, AM Peterson, EM Vincent and AL Westerling, published a paper in Nature Communications. The paper refers to climate contrarians, a pejorative term. Your university put out a press release, referring to deniers;, a term referencing those who question the historical validity of the Holocaust.

"I do not doubt that the Holocaust happened. I was one of the first to show that climate change is real and human-made. I have contributed to several reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and I have advised climate policy formation and design in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and the United States of America.....@
Laws in the UK on libel are different than in the US, so this will be worth watching.

August 18, 2019 at 3:29 am: ....the attempt by climate Communists at Nature Communications to silence all academic debate is part of a much wider fraud which has already been drawn to the attention of national and international investigating and prosecuting authorities and is increasingly attracting their interest. On its own, it would probably lead to a conviction in a UK court: but, in the context of the wider fraud, it shows the increasing desperation of the climate Communists to silence debate as they realize they have lost the scientific argument.

Democrats Announce All 2020 Candidates Will Forego Armed Security To Protest Gun Violence
[Babylon Bee] U.S.‐Democratic National Committee spokesperson Michael Tyler announced Thursday that all candidates who run in the 2020 presidential election as Democrats will completely forego armed security for the entirety of their campaigns, in a clear and bold stance against gun violence in America.

"We’ve talked to all possible candidates and everyone has agreed. Gun violence is a huge issue in our country, and guns are the problem. So whoever runs for president as a Democrat in 2020‐be it Bernie, Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Jerry Brown, and/or whoever else throws their hat in the ring‐they will steadfastly refuse to employ security teams who carry scary firearms."

Tyler further confirmed that if a Democrat wins the White House in 2020, their first order of business will be to disarm the Secret Service. Asked how the president would then be kept safe, Tyler revealed that they plan on introducing a gun-free zone encompassing a 500-yard radius around the president at all times.

"Problem solved," he said.

New video shows dramatic escape from Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s burning plane
[ABC7] ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. -- Dramatic new video shows the heart-stopping moment that those aboard a plane carrying Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his family escaped from the burning wreckage after the aircraft skidded off the runway in Tennessee earlier this week.

The footage, obtained by ABC affiliate WSOC, shows the Cessna Citation's front door popping open as flames and smoke billow from the back of the plane. A man steps out of the plane and then reaches back to pull the NASCAR legend's baby girl through the door. A second man then jumps from the plane, followed by Earnhardt's wife Amy, who briefly trips before running to safety.

The family's dog is also seen running away from the flaming wreckage.

Eyewitnesses watched the family escape just before the plane, which was carrying a thousand gallons of fuel, erupted into a fiery inferno.

FBI investigators zero in on Jeffrey Epstein's 8,000-acre Zorro Ranch in New Mexico
[Mail] FBI investigators are probing potentially vile crimes at Jeffrey Epstein's remote Zorro Ranch in New Mexico, following his death in federal custody last week.

The seemingly idyllic ranch in the shrub-dotted hills 23 miles south of Santa Fe has gone under the radar following raids on Epstein's private Caribbean island and mansions in Manhattan and Palm Beach, but may have played a key role in the depraved pedophile's crimes.

Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts has said she was taken to the ranch as an underage sex slave, sharing photos of herself on the property taken when she was about 17.

As well, Epstein revealed to scientists and close friends that he 'hoped to seed the human race with his DNA by impregnating women' at the vast New Mexico ranch, according to the New York Times.

On February 22, 1993, Epstein's shell company the Zorro Trust completed a purchase of lands owned by members of the King family, a powerful New Mexico agricultural and political dynasty that included then-Governor Bruce King.

Zorro's deal included rights to the Kings' leases on public lands, a total of 1,159 acres rented for $872.22 a year. The entire ranch, including privately held land, totaled nearly 8,000 acres.

According to county records, Epstein began constructing a stable, detached garages, and homes in 1994, and began building his mansion in 1999. Including porches and patios, the mansion came to 57,420 square feet.

Epstein also inquired about building a private airstrip on the leased public land - but when he was informed state officials would need to inspect the land, he quickly withdrew the permit request and built the airstrip on the privately held portion of the ranch.

The ranch is surrounded on nearly all sides by land owned by the powerful King family, insulating it from prying eyes. Fashion designer Tom Ford, whose name is in Epstein's 'little black book', also maintains a massive 20,000-acre ranch not far to the north.

Olde Tyme Religion
Iran’s aggression and the Shi’ite apocalypse
[Jpost] Why does Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
continue to saber-rattle and threaten to massacre Israelis? Why do Iranian religious and military leaders constantly vow to impose terrible violence on their enemies? And why is the ever-escalating aggression carried on by various Iranian proxies across the Middle East?

These days, international commentators assume that threats of violence and warnings of war are Iran’s boastful way of defying US economic sanctions, which presently have a strangle-hold on their leaders and institutions. Meanwhile,

I wonder, however, about the military. The regular military probably is not interested in apocalypse. The IRGC may be interested in apocalypse but they also have commercial interests.

Finally, the various external deployments have resulted in a steady stream of fatalities. Almost certainly the general population is anti apocalypse (even anti regime). The IRGC is probably trending this way also.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Epstein reportedly spent 2 hours locked in a private room with an attractive young woman the day after suicide watch ended
[Forbes via The American Thinker] Yet another "irregularity" in the handling of Jeffrey Epstein that surely must be on A.G. Barr's radar. Richard Behar reports at Forbes:
The day after he was taken off suicide watch, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein spent at least two hours locked up alone with a young woman, in a private room reserved for inmates and their attorneys, according to an attorney who was visiting the prison that day.

"The optics were startling. Because she was young. And pretty," said the visiting attorney, who asked that his name not be used because he didn't want to create friction with the prison administration. He speculated the woman could be a lawyer ‐ NBC News has reported that Epstein paid members of his team to sit with him in a room for eight hours a day for attorney-client meetings, allowing him to avoid his cell.

The visiting attorney went to the Manhattan Correctional Center on July 30, a day after Epstein was reportedly taken off suicide watch and transferred into the Special Housing Unit (SHU). During the hours the visiting attorney was present, it wasn't Epstein's main lawyer, Reid Weingarten, or other named attorneys who visited him.

The young female has not been identified publicly, but I presume she must have had to show some identification to get into the facility. But then again, there may be another "irregularity" here. Along with these:

This Scientific Breakthrough Could Increase the Odds that Hillary Clinton Runs for President Again
[Free Beacon] A new scientific breakthrough could increase the odds that Hillary Clinton, 71, could enter the Democratic primary in an effort to unite the party behind a tried and tested (albeit twice-failed) candidate in 2020.

Clinton, whose unsuccessful 2016 campaign was plagued by challenges related to likability, balance, mobility, health scares, corruption, incompetence, and hubris, will be thrilled to learn that researchers at Keio University in Japan have developed a piece of technology that could mitigate at least one of those factors in the event she decides to run again.

The "Arque" is an "artificial biomimicry-inspired anthropomorphic tail" that elderly individuals can wear "as an extension of human body to provide active momentum alteration in balancing situations, or as a device to alter body momentum for full-body haptic feedback scenarios." In other words, it could be just the thing Hillary needs to overcome the general distaste with which she is viewed by a majority of the voting public.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
IDF kills armed Gazans on Israeli border Saturday night, the five PIJ members are named
[IsraelTimes] Infiltration attempt comes hours after three rockets fired at southern Israel from the Strip, one of which struck a home in Sderot.

Israeli forces rubbed out a group of armed Paleostinians along the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip’s security fence late Saturday night, hours after three rockets were fired at southern Israel from the restive coastal enclave.

The exact number of Paleostinians killed during the suspected infiltration was not immediately known. Gaza-based news outlets reported four or five people killed in the strike.

The Israeli military said an attack helicopter and a tank were used to kill the suspected Death Eaters as they approached the fence.

"A short while ago, IDF troops spotted armed suspects near the security fence around the northern Gaza Strip. An IDF attack helicopter and a tank fired at them," the army said in a statement.

Israeli troops also fired flares throughout the area in order to assist in the efforts to locate the suspected terrorists.

An army spokesperson said there were no reports of Israeli casualties.

The Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,-linked Paleostinian Information Center said the men had been on the Gaza side of the fence when they were killed, and that some of the bodies had been confiscated by Israel, citing "local sources." The reports could not be confirmed.

Hamas’s military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, said that Israel later conducted artillery strikes on its positions east of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, near where the men had approached the fence to enter Israel.

Paleostinian media reported that the men were members of the Iran-backed Paleostinian Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...
’s military wing, Saraya al-Quds. This could not be immediately confirmed.

On Saturday night, the cities of Beersheba, Ashdod, Ofakim, Gan Yavne and Yavne opened their municipal bomb shelters ahead of expected reprisal rocket attacks. The Magen David Adom ambulance service also said it was going on high alert.

Earlier on Saturday night, Paleostinian Death Eaters in the Gaza Strip fired three rockets at southern Israel, two of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system, the military said.

Fragments from one of the Gaza rockets struck the yard of a home in the town of Sderot, causing damage. There were no physical injuries caused by the shrapnel in Sderot. Four people received medical treatment after they suffered anxiety attacks, medics said. In addition, two people sustained minor injuries while running to bomb shelters, according to the Magen David Adom ambulance service.

Shrapnel also landed inside a community in the Sha’ar Hanegev region of southern Israel, northeast of Gaza, causing no injuries, local officials said.

It was the second night in a row that sirens sounded in Sderot. On Friday night, Death Eaters in the Strip fired at least one rocket into Israel, which was intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system, the IDF said. There were no reports of injury or damage. In response, the Israeli military struck two underground sites belonging to Hamas.

(BNP-M) leader Amanullah Zehri was rubbed out on in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan early on Saturday.

The BNP-M leader was travelling when his convoy was ambushed by unidentified miscreants, who opened indiscriminate fire.

Zehri and three others, including his minor grandson, Mardan Zehri, bit the dust in the incident.

The deputy commissioner of Khuzdar and other relevant officials reached the site of the incident along with levies personnel. The area was cordoned off so that evidence could be collected from the site.

The bodies were handed over to families after the necessary paperwork was completed at the Civil Hospital.

BNP-M Chief Nawab Akhtar Mengal expressed his grief on the loss of lives.

"Another dark day for BNP and the people of Balochistan," he wrote on Twitter. "This loss has deprived us all. I’m lost of words today. Devastated to learn that Shaheed Amanullah Zehri with his friends and innocent grandson have been brutally killed in the middle of the night. May Allah have mercy."

North Korea fires more projectiles, rules out talks with South
[DAWN] North Korea
...hereditary Communist monarchy distinguished by its truculence and periodic acts of violence. Distinguishing features include Songun (Army First) policy, which involves feeding the army before anyone but the Dear Leadership, and Juche, which is Kim Jong Il's personal interpretation of Marxism-Leninism, which he told everybody was brilliant. In 1950 the industrialized North invaded agrarian South Korea. Twenty-one countries of the United Nations eventually contributed to the UN force opposing the invasion, with the United States providing around 90% of the military personnel. Seventy years later the economic results are in and it doesn't look good for Juche...
on Friday bluntly criticised South Korean President Moon Jae-in for continuing to hold military exercises with the US and over his rosy comments on inter-Korean diplomacy, and said Pyongyang has no current plans to talk with Seoul.

The statement by an unidentified government front man came hours before South Korea’s military detected two projectiles North Korea fired into the sea to extend a torrid streak of weapons display that’s apparently aimed at pressuring Washington and Seoul over their joint drills and slow nuclear negotiations.

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said the projectiles launched from the North’s eastern coast flew about 230 kilometres on an apogee of 30 kilometres before landing in waters between the Korean Peninsula and Japan. The US and South Korean militaries were analysing the launches but didn’t immediately say whether the weapons were ballistic missiles or rocket artillery.

The North has ignored South Korean calls for dialogue recently and is seen as trying to force Seoul to make stronger efforts to coax major concessions from Washington on its behalf.

Moon, in a televised speech on Thursday, said a momentum for dialogue remains alive despite the series of "worrying actions taken by North Korea recently." He called for Pyongyang to choose "economic prosperity over its nuclear program." The spokesperson of the North’s Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country said Moon’s comments would make a "boiled head of a cow (fall into) a side-splitting laughter." "A sure thing is that the (South) Korean chief executive is (such a) funny man as he just reads what was written by his juniors," the statement said, while avoiding calling Moon by his name.

Euphoria grips Sudan as historic transition deal to civilian rule signed
[DAWN] Rapturous crowds filled the streets of Khartoum on Saturday as Sudan's generals and protest leaders signed a historic deal paving the way for civilian rule.

Thousands of cheering people gathered around the Friendship Hall next to the Nile, where the documents that will govern the country's 39-month transition were signed.

"This is the biggest celebration I have ever seen in my country. We have a new Sudan," said Saba Mohammed, a veiled 37-year-old woman, waving a small plastic flag.

Minutes earlier, the deal had been signed by Mohammed Hamdan Daglo, deputy chief of the military council, and Ahmed al-Rabie, representing the Alliance for Freedom and Change protest umbrella.

Heads of state, prime ministers and dignitaries from several countries ‐ including Æthiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Egypt's premier Mustafa Madbuli ‐ attended the ceremony.

The Hillary Clinton Email Saga Just Got A Lot Weirder
BLUF:
[RED STATE] The depth of the cover-up involved in Hillary’s email illegality is absolutely breath-taking. The lengths they went to and the amount of people who were working to shift priorities and bury evidence seems almost inconceivable, yet we have the government documentation proving these things happened.

Despite all this, it looks like everyone is going to get away with it. The media still claim Obama had no scandals while the current DOJ is ignoring criminal referrals by the IG for figures like Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, and James Comey. In fact, some of these people are so emboldened that they are now suing the government to get their full pensions. Meanwhile, others hide behind blanket immunity that was given for no logical reason whatsoever.

This is why so few people trusts our institutions. It’s also why the many conservatives who spent years insisting we treat the FBI/DOJ as sacrosanct were simply wrong. The corruption is blatantly evident. These were not people just trying to do their job and protect Americans. They were political actors that perverted the system of justice and that deserves the exposition it’s now getting.

Scrolling down to the bottom line:

#2  The IG of the DOJ has been finishing up his investigation on the FISA surveillance of Carter Page and others. Until this report is out, the DOJ is, IIUC, limited in what it may do.

The IG report was supposed to be out in June, then July, now September. It may cover more than the FISA issue and that may be what is delaying things.

Anyway, after the IG report is final, investigations will probably accelerate including a re-investigation of Hillary's email issue. How much they accomplish and how fast will depend on how skillfully they organize and execute, witness cooperation, etc.

Suspect arrested for allegedly raping 6-year-old in Jhelum
[DAWN] Jhelum police on Saturday arrested a suspect for allegedly molesting and raping a minor girl in Pind Dadan Khan, said a police officer.

The suspect had forcefully taken the second grade student to an empty building on August 15, Pind Dadan Khan Police Station SHO Ghulam Abbas Shah said quoting the victim's father. A case had also been registered on the same day, he added.

The SHO said that police arrested the suspect with the help of CCTV footage as the victim had identified the suspect in the video.

According to the FIR, lodged by the father of the victim, the six-year-old girl went outside from her home to purchase some curd but returned very late. The father told police that the victim, upon her return, told her mother that someone had grabbed her and took her to a nearby deserted house where the suspected tried to rape her.

Later, according to the father, the victim identified the suspect and the house where she had been taken. She identified the suspect in a video footage obtained from a nearby installed CCTV camera, the father said.

The victim had been shifted to a hospital for medico-legal examination, as well as treatment. The report will confirm the nature of the offence, the police said.

OTOH, these thugs are too stupid and unstrategic in their manner to actually create a coherent plan for subverting our institutions a la the 1970s-era radical groups that actually did target and assassinate cops and public figures, that actually did stage bank robberies and that bombed literally thousands of public buildings.

These morons are more like performance artists engaged in street theater, like a more menacing version of squeegee men or your ordinary homeless nutjob-cum-hobo.

OTOH, these nuts have the tacit support of state, local and perhaps even federal officials, along with the media.

Given our politicized, left-leaning FBI, its highly unlikely that any Feds are monitoring and surveiling this group's activity.

Which means, bottom line, we have no idea how dangerous these weirdos are, or what exactly is the nature of the threat they pose.

Explosion Targets Wedding Hall In Kabul; Casualties Feared UPDATE: 63 dead, ISIS claims it
[ToloNews] Interior Ministry’s front man said the earth-shattering kaboom has targeted Shahr-e-Dubai wedding hall in Kabul.

An explosion happened at a wedding hall in the west of Kabul when dozens of people were celebrating a wedding ceremony of an Afghan couple on Saturday evening.
ISIS, Al Qaeda, and the Taliban all disapprove most strongly of people having old fashoned fun. No doubt more information will come out as the day progresses.
A front man for Ministry of Interior, Nusrat Rahimi, said the earth-shattering kaboom happened at around 10:40 pm.

Sources and eyewitnesses said the hall was packed with guests when the earth-shattering kaboom happened.

The Shahr-e-Dubai wedding hall is located in police district 6 (PD6) which covers areas like Darul Aman in the west of Kabul.

Footage on social media shows women screaming outside the wedding hall, while they are shocked by the earth-shattering kaboom.

Sources said the casualties might be high. Wedding ceremonies in Afghanistan are often attended by more than 400 guests.
Deutsche Welle adds:
More than 1,000 people had been invited to the wedding, one witness said.

Interior Ministry spokesman Nusrat Rahimi told the Associated Press news agency that the attacker set off explosives among the wedding participants.

"Unfortunately, the blast caused civilian casualties," Rahimi said, adding that among them were women and children. Specific information on casualties would be provided later, he wrote on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast, which went off in the men's reception area of the wedding hall in the western part of the city.
And from the Daily Mail:
Witnesses said members of the minority Shi'ite Muslim community were holding the wedding reception.

Sunni Muslim militants including the Taliban and Islamic State have repeatedly attacked the Shi'ite Hazara minorities in Afghanistan and neighbouring Pakistan over the years.
Update from Al Jazeera at 8:12 a.m. EDT courtesy of Besoeker
At least 63 people have been killed and scores wounded in an explosion targeting a wedding in the Afghan capital, officials said on Sunday, the deadliest attack in Kabul this year.

The suicide blast took place on Saturday evening in the men's reception area of the Dubai City wedding hall in western Kabul, in a minority Shia neighbourhood, packed with people celebrating a marriage.

Women and children were among the casualties, interior ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said on Sunday.

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) group claimed responsibility for the attack on Sunday.

UNSC meeting a reaffirmation of resolutions for Kashmiris' right to self-determination: PM Imran
[DAWN] Prime Minister Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who ain't the sharpest bulb on the national tree...
on Saturday welcomed the United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
Security Council (UNSC) meeting on occupied Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
held a day earlier, saying the gathering was a reaffirmation of the council's past resolutions advocating the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people.

Taking to Twitter, the premier noted that it was for the first time in over five decades that the "world’s highest diplomatic forum" had taken up the issue of Indian Kashmire and the serious situation prevailing there.

"There are 11 UNSC resolutions reiterating the Kashmiris right to self-determination. And the UNSC meeting was a reaffirmation of these resolutions," the prime minister wrote.

He said it was, therefore, the responsibility of the Security Council to address the suffering of the Kashmiri people and ensure the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

Pirates kidnap 17 Chinese, Ukrainians off Cameroon
[DAWN] Nine Chinese and eight Ukrainian seamen were kidnapped in attacks on two merchant ships off Cameroon
...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there...
, in the latest act of piracy in the Gulf of Guinea, sources said on Friday.

The attacks took place on Thursday in Cameroonian waters off the port of Douala, located at the apex of a gulf that has become a hotspot of seaborne crime.

A Douala official said on Friday that a total of 17 people had been kidnapped, including "nine Chinese civilian sailors" from one of the ships.

A Cameroonian security official confirmed the account.

The Cameroonian navy and the country’s port service had reported the kidnappings on Thursday but had been unable to give the number or nationality of those taken.

A navy source said the kidnappers "are probably Nigerian pirates," adding that Cameroon’s security forces had launched a search for them.

The Gulf of Guinea, whose coastline stretches in a huge arc from Liberia to Gabon, is notorious for piracy as well as oil theft, illegal fishing and human and drugs trafficking.

In Malaysia, Noel Choong, who heads the International Maritime Bureau (IMB), a watchdog agency, said the 17 seamen were seized from two ships that were attacked within hours of each other while they were anchored off Douala.

Choong said one of the ships was a multipurpose German-owned ship that flew the flag of Antigua and Barbuda.

"Eight crew were kidnapped from the ship, consisting of a total of 12 Asian and Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an sailors," he said.

The other vessel was a Liberian-flagged bulk carrier managed in Greece with a Greek owner.

"There were 21 crew on board. All were Asians. Nine crew were taken," Choong told AFP.

"(The) IMB has issued a warning to all ships at Douala. We ask all ships to take additional precaution." Russia’s foreign ministry said in a statement quoted by news agencies that three of the kidnapped sailors were Russian nationals. Many Ukrainians also hold Russian citizenship.

In recent years, the seas off West Africa have become "the world’s worst for pirate attacks," according to the IMB.

Taliban say killing of leader's brother will not derail peace talks
[DAWN] The Afghan Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
on Saturday said the killing of a brother of their leader in the Quetta mosque kaboom on Friday would not derail talks with the United States.
And the injured son (how badly injured has not been reported) is likewise of no interest whatsoever.
Taliban leader Haibatullah Akhundzada
...Former deputy to Taliban supremo Mullah Akhtar Mansour, now The Big Man Himself...
was not in the mosque near Quetta on Friday when a bomb went off but his younger brother, Hafiz Ahmadullah, was leading Friday prayers and was killed, several Taliban officials have said.

The kaboom inside the mosque just before Friday prayers killed four people, including the prayer leader, and left 25 others injured in the Kuchlak area on the outskirts of the scenic provincial capital.

The explosion was carried out with the help of a time device, which was planted under the wooden chair of the prayer leader, when he started delivering the Friday sermon, according to police and bomb disposal squad officials.

There was no claim of responsibility for the blast that came after both Taliban and US officials reported progress in talks on an agreement centred on a US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan in exchange for a Taliban security guarantee.

"If someone thinks martyring our leaders would stop us from our goal they're living in a fool's paradise," a Taliban leader said by telephone from an undisclosed location.

"We are close to our goals," he said, referring to the talks with the US. He declined to be identified.
Khaama Press adds:
The former Afghan intelligence chief and running mate of Ashraf Ghani in presidential elections reacted to the killing of the brother of Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada in an explosion in Pakistan.

Saleh said in a Twitter post “The name of the Talbn politburo is Quetta Shura. It is located in Quetta of Pakistan.”

Furthermore, Saleh said “One of their senior members was killed today in a blast as the rift is growing over the deal with the US & prospects of peace. Seemingly ultra ISI are killing the less ISI Talibn. Cheap proxies.”
An interesting perspective...

Battle for Jubbaland escalates as Federal Government declares new Jubbaland parliament ‘illegal’
[HIIRAAN] Somali Federal Government has declared the election of new Jubbaland state assembly a nullity noting the process violated the Federal Constitution and electoral procedures in what could open a new round of battles between the Ahmed Madobe administration and Mogadishu.

Interior Ministry Abdi Mohammed Sabriye said in a statement Saturday the selection of elders and subsequent election of MPs failed the electoral threshold set by the government. According to the letter, the elders who participated in the just concluded controversial poll were not the legitimate ones in the government register.

"Any election which bypasses the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia and the electoral procedures set by the Interior Ministry is null and void," the government said.

Coming hot on the heels of the build up to the election of a new president and the ’swearing in’ of a parallel assembly Thursday, the declaration by the Federal Government could further escalate the hotly contested exercise that has seen the intervention of the international community.

Jubbaland Independent Boundaries and Electoral Commission (JBIEC) reopened the registration process of presidential candidates Friday following pressure from the UN, AU and the regional body IGAD. The UN called for a ’a single, agreed electoral process’ warning unless resolved, the political circus could have a destabilising effect on the southerly state.

The rejection of Jubbaland assembly by Mogadishu is not a new phenomenon. In 2015 following the formation of the Interim Jubbaland Administration, the Federal Parliament declared the Jubbaland Assembly illegally constituted but the move posited no legal effect to bar the assembly conducting its business.

The Jubbaland Assembly approved by the JBIEC Saturday re-elected the former Speaker Sheikh Abdi Mohammed Abdirahman and deputies paving way for the election of a new president. The parallel parliament also ’elected’ Ibrahim Nur Hassan as its speaker.

Fighting erupts in east Benghazi for the release of drunken gunmen
[Libya Observer] Heavy gunfire broke out in Tocra town, 70 km east of Benghazi, on Saturday between the town’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the 166th brigade, a militia led by Ayoub Furjani, warlord Khalifa Haftar
...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all...
’s son-in-law.

Local sources said the 166th militia attacked the town early in the day to release a group of button men arrested by the CID for drinking alcohol.

The 166th militia retreated after hours of heavy exchange of fire, according to the sources.

The Criminal Investigation Department also shot down a surveillance drone believed to be operated by the 166th brigade.

"The situations in the town are still tense," the sources added.

Syria regime strikes kill mother, 6 of her children: monitor
[DAWN] Regime air strikes on Saturday killed a woman and six of her children in northwest Syria, a war monitor said, a day after Russian bombardment pummelled a nearby displacement camp.

The air strike hit the family's one-story home in the village of Dayr Sharqi in Idlib province, killing everyone inside, said the Britannia-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

A photographer collaborating with AFP said he saw a man leaving the site of the blast, carrying the bloody corpse of a maiden of tender years, her hair streaked with blood.

A rescue worker carried the dust covered body of a second child, he added.

The photographer said he also saw the charred remains of a third victim trapped underneath the rubble, as rescue workers tried to retrieve it.

Heightened air raids by the Syrian regime and its ally Moscow on the Idlib region ‐ the last major opposition bastion in Syria's northwest ‐ have killed hundreds since the end of April.

The latest air strikes on the village of Dayr Sharqi maimed three other people, the Observatory said.

The attack came a day after Russian air raids killed 15 civilians, including six children in a nearby displacement camp in the town of Hass, according to the war monitor. Two other children were killed by Syrian regime air strikes in different parts of southern Idlib on Friday, it said.

A French foreign ministry statement released after those attacks condemned "indiscriminate air strikes by the regime and its allies in Idlib". It specifically mentioned the air strikes on the displacement camp and called "for an immediate cessation of hostilities".

Over the past week, regime forces have advanced on the southern edges of Idlib province, with the aim of capturing the town of Khan Sheikhoun, which lies on a key highway coveted by the regime.

The highway runs through Idlib, connecting government-held Damascus with the northern city of Aleppo, which was retaken by regime forces from rebels in December 2016.

Regime and Russian air strikes and shelling since late April have killed more than 850 civilians, according to the Observatory.

The United Nations
...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense...
says the violence has displaced more than 400,000 people. AFP correspondents have reported seeing dozens of families flee fighting over the past few days, heading north in trucks stacked high with belongings.

Syria's conflict has killed more than 370,000 people and displaced millions at home and abroad since starting with the brutal repression of anti-regime protests in 2011.

Arrests and shields, metal poles seized at Portland protests
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) ‐ Police arrested at least 13 people and seized metal poles, bear spray and other weapons Saturday as hundreds of far-right protesters and anti-fascist counter-demonstrators swarmed downtown Portland, Oregon.

Authorities closed bridges and streets to try to keep the rival groups apart. The city’s mayor said the situation was "potentially dangerous and volatile," and President Donald Trump tweeted "Portland is being watched very closely."

As of early afternoon, most of the right-wing groups had left the area via a downtown bridge. Police used officers on bikes and in riot gear to keep black-clad, helmet- and mask-wearing anti-fascist protesters ‐ known as antifa ‐ from following them.

But hundreds of people remained downtown and on nearby streets, and there were skirmishes throughout the day. Police declared a gathering of mostly left-wing protesters near Pioneer Courthouse Square a "civil disturbance" and told people to leave.

One person was injured and transported via ambulance, and three other people were evaluated by medics, Portland Police spokeswoman Lt. Tina Jones said. The injuries were minor, she said.

Jones said at one point there were about 1,200 on the streets, but that number had fallen to about 400 late in the afternoon.

Haftar's militias abduct representative of British Arab Commercial Bank in Libya

Haftar's militias have continued to detain bloggers, activists, and officials in Qasr bin Ghashir area of Tripoli, the last of them was Abdul Hadi Tughar and before him was the High Council of State (HCS) member, Muhammad Abu Ghumajeh.

Detentions and acts of violence committed by Haftar's forces against Tripoli's residents continue in the light of the absence of any international deterrence towards such incidents.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
'Ball Of Collusion'....Hillary Ruins the Plan
[National Review] Plan A was to exonerate her and get her elected. Plan B, the failsafe, was an ’insurance policy’ meant to destroy Trump.

There really was a collusion plot. It really did target our election system. It absolutely sought to usurp our capacity for self-determination. It was just not the collusion you’ve been told about for nearly three years. It was not "Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia."

Here is the real collusion scheme: In 2016, the incumbent Democratic administration of President Barack Obama put the awesome powers of the United States government’s law-enforcement and intelligence apparatus in the service of the Hillary Rodham Clinton presidential campaign, the Democratic party, and the progressive Beltway establishment. This scheme had two parts: Plan A, the objective; and Plan B, a fail-safe strategy in case Plan A imploded ‐ which all the smartest people were supremely confident would never, ever happen . . . which is why you could bet the ranch that it would.

Plan A was to get Mrs. Clinton elected president of the United States. This required exonerating her, at least ostensibly, from well-founded allegations of her felonious and politically disqualifying actions.

Plan B was the insurance policy: an investigation that Donald Trump, in the highly unlikely event he was elected, would be powerless to shut down. An investigation that would simultaneously monitor and taint him. An investigation that internalized Clinton-campaign-generated opposition research, limning Trump and his campaign as complicit in Russian espionage. An investigation that would hunt for a crime under the guise of counterintelligence, build an impeachment case under the guise of hunting for a crime, and seek to make Trump un-reelectable under the guise of building an impeachment case.

Upon becoming President Obama’s secretary of state, Clinton improperly set up a private, non-secure system for email communications. It featured her own personal server, stored in her home and, later, maintained by a private contractor. Secretary Clinton used this private email system for all of her official State Department communications, notwithstanding that doing so (a) violated government regulations (which, as the department head, she was responsible for enforcing); (b) violated governmental record-keeping and record-production obligations imposed by federal law; and (c) made it inevitable ‐ due to the nature of her responsibilities ‐ that streams of classified information would flow through and be stored in the non-secure system.

Just remember who we're talking about, her intent was never about serving the US as SoS, her focus was all about 'fundraising'. She needed the non-secure access and data gathering to implement that.

. Two other civilians were kidnapped by the same group in Qarabulli town, east Tripoli, and had the same fate.

The victims, 12 of them are fighters for the UN-recognized Government of National Accord, were handed over to the Libyan Red Islamic Thingy last week after weeks of disappearance. They were arrested, tortured and humiliated before being killed, according to the Ministry of Health.

In a statement, the ministry said: "Signs of torture and abuses were found on the bodies of the victims."

"The ministry considers such horrific violations, which do not respect humanity, an act of terrorism that does not reflect the morals and customs of the Libyan Moslem people." Read the statement.

The ministry called on the UN Security Council, the UN Mission in Libya and the International Criminal Court to bring the perpetrators to justice so that they receive their just punishment.

A medical source, who preferred not to be named, said some of the victims had their sex organs cut off, in a horrific crime similar to those of ISIS terrorist group, adding that all the victims were brutally tortured and then summarily executed.

Al-Kaniyat is a notorious militia group formed by al-Kani family in Tarhuna city. The group has been fighting alongside warlord Khalifa Haftar’s self-declared army in southern Tripoli since the start of the offensive in April. Last year it conducted two failed attacks on Tripoli.

#1  Khalifa Haftar’s self-declared army

Classic 'enemy of my enemy' is what passes for fraternity in the muslim world.

While the Madkhali salafists working for Haftar can be muzzled later, the hard core murderous GNA, harbors militias backed by ISIS to the Muslim Brotherhood. If something is backed by the UN, you can pretty much take it for granted some islamist motherfucker benefits from it.

Haftar uses the madkhalis to counter political islamic groups like Ansar al-Sharia and the MB. Haftar dissolved the Madkhali brigade (called the Tawhid Brigade) incorporating them into his military divisions like the 302 Saaiqa Special Forces.

But it's true, there is the possibility of Salafi jihadism — especially ISIS and al-Qaeda—infiltrating Madkhali Salafist groups, which is easy in a war torn country and an armed society with no real state presence.

Officials said that the security forces came under attack from various locations as they combed the forests for the terrorists. However,

At least four bad boyz were potted in the counterattack, they added. Two of them were identified as Javed Malana and Abdur Rehman Ustrana. They were wanted in eight different acts of terrorism, including attacks on the security forces and a police mobile in Parova area.

The security forces also recovered several Kalashnikovs, police wireless sets, hand grenades and material used in the making of the boom jackets.

The sources said that the operation was still under way due to the presence of more gunnies in the forested areas of Kulachi.

Firebrands’ movement to be restricted in Muharram

Furthermore, leaves of all police officials have been cancelled for Muharram, which is likely to start on Aug 30.

The front man said a control room has been set up in the office of the City Police Officer which would monitor security arrangements round the clock.

Giving details of a meeting held at the CPO office to discuss security arrangements during Muharram, the front man said instructions had been issued to restrict the movement of religious scholars who were known for delivering hate speeches and in this regard the National Action Plan would be followed and implemented.

The CPO was informed that last year, a total of 1,766 Majalis were held, 316 processions were taken out during the first ten days of Muharram in the Rawalpindi District.

The CPO directed the police to ensure that no untoward incident happen during the month.

Sinking city: Indonesia’s capital on brink of disaster
[DAWN] Time is running out for Jakarta. One of the fastest-sinking cities on earth, environmental experts warn that one third of it could be submerged by 2050 if current rates continue.

Decades of uncontrolled and excessive depletion of groundwater reserves, rising sea-levels, and increasingly volatile weather patterns mean swathes of it have already started to disappear.

Existing environmental measures have had little impact, so authorities are taking drastic action: the nation will have a new capital.

Its location could be announced imminently, according to local reports.

"The capital of our country will move to the island of Borneo," Indonesian leader Joko Widodo said on Twitter.

Relocating the country’s administrative and political heart may be an act of national preservation, but it effectively sounds the death-knell for Jakarta where many of the city’s 10 million residents have little means of escape. "When the floods came I used to tremble," food stall owner Rasdi said.

"I nearly drowned back in 2007 ‐ all my belongings were swept away and I had to start over again," said from his home close to Jakarta’s northern port, one of the worst affected by sinking ground.

Haftar's warplanes carried out other airstrikes on Libyan Army forces in eastern and western Gharyan checkpoints killing one fighter and injuring another from Gharyan Security Force.
