The Skewed Polls of Fox News and Their Contributor Donna Brazile
[Canada Free Press] Fox News viewers should file the network’s increasingly absurd polls on President Donald Trump in the same category as the polls on their ’contributor’ Donna Brazile’s home page as: So Much Bunk.

According to the once ’Fair and Balanced’ Fox News, 51% of Americans‐rather than just the Democrat Party and the media‐want Trump impeached.

Anyone who believes the outcome of that self-serving poll is legit, would believe that Hillary Clinton is ’fair and honest’.

Interesting that Brazile, a two-time chairman of the DNC is conducting polls of her own on her Twitter home page.

Ray DiLorenzo: How to start a civil war
[Canada Free Press] The Democrat Party has made a fateful decision. They’ve decided to safeguard all that is left of their power and the progressive movement they have worshiped at the cost of the existence of the nation they have sworn an oath to preserve.

The Democrats, after 160 years, have once again resolved that they will not accept the election of a president decided by a legal and Constitutional process. Their crusade to oust our president started in 2016 and will probably climax in 2020. This time they will not accept separation, only control...a true civil war!

Sixties flower children finally took over the Democrat Party, they sought not to create a more perfect union, but to destroy it.

Many any of us saw that it would eventually come to this. And it is now here. The party of love and peace is now the party of war, hate, conformity and subservience. If you wear a MAGA hat, they no longer accord you a flower, but deliver spittle. If Trump removes troops from zones of endless warfare between followers of the ’religion of peace’, they no longer applaud, but show contempt. Endless wars serve their purpose. MAGA hats do not. If you speak out against their narrative, they attempt to shut you down. To them, the Constitution is a constant irritant.

A rock musician of the sixties put it well. "In the sixties, we thought we could change the world. In the seventies, we found we couldn’t even change ourselves, so we went for the money."

The money has now found a voracious partner...power.

When the sixties flower children finally took over the Democrat Party, the intention, as it turned out, was never to offer a solution to our social and domestic problems, but to destroy everything in their path to show and ’prove’ to the world that our system does not work. They sought not to create a more perfect union, but to destroy it. In other words, establish change by creating chaos, blame others, and then demand a solution that they will dictate.

#1  When no one fights, it's called a rout. And when the police, feebs and all agencies capitulate it's more of a coup. We know the judiciary is already renegade, the feebs are already captive, all alphabeteers serving their own interests, the fourth estate is more of a fifth column.

It's up to the citizens to find a way to assist the President Without his will. He can't assist in return . against the entrenched 'civil servants'. Will the law have to be broken ? Yes. Will careers, lives have to be sacrificed ? Maybe. Will the leftists be handed final proof of nationalist thugs trying to wrench the 'freedom to self-destruct a country' away from them ? Most certainly.

Who will be up for such a civil war ? It's just something we tell ourselves, while we polish our stocks and oil the bolt rail. Almost everybody will rest easy in a resigned assumption that 'someone better than me will surely be doing something'. I think 2020 will bring a fiercer conflict with it and people will have to be prepared to meet it with resolve.

#3  I think there was a pretty big difference back in the '60's between the Flower Children on one hand and the Students for a Democratic Society, the Weathermen and the Black Panthers on the other. The Flower Children wanted to tune in, turn on and drop out. SDS, Weathermen and Black Panthers were the ones who wanted power and weren't too particular how they went about getting it.

Afghanistan
Blasts collapse roof at Afghan mosque, killing at least 62 at Friday prayers
More on this story from yesterday.
[Al-Rooters] Multiple explosions at a mosque in eastern Afghanistan collapsed the roof on worshippers during Friday prayers, killing at least 62 and wounding more than 100, officials said.
"Verrry Islamic"
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar province's governor, said bombs had been placed inside the mosque in the Jawdara area of Haska Mena district.

"People using an excavator are still working to bring out the bodies and injured from under the roof," said Sohrab Qaderi, a member of the provincial council in Nangarhar, adding that the death toll was likely to rise.

Malik Mohammadi Gul Shinwari, a tribal elder from the area, said that the mosque had been destroyed. "It was a heartbreaking scene I witnessed," Shinwari said.

No group immediately claimed responsibility but the government accused Taliban insurgents, who are fighting to reimpose strict Islamic law after their 2001 ouster by U.S.-led forces.

#1  For those wondering why talibaners tend to hit these sad places, this is why.

From 2012, the Jammat e islami sent hundreds of 'scholars' into Afghanistan, for the purpose of gaining the trust of mullahs there. They would be backed by funding from islamabad and arrange trustee posts and teacher positions in masjids and madarsas. There they would stay diluting, steering and controlling the native doctrines toward what is proper wahabism as practiced in the 'Stain.

Some of the native doctrine and pashtun realist ideology is not conducive to what the ISI has in mind for these people as a future federal preserve of the 'Stain. The base of doctrinal theological debate was the scholarly community, libraries piles of utter hogwash O tell you and meeting houses based in the Nangarhar province. Mosques of two kinds existed for a while, maybe some still do. There was an unwritten stalemate as to whose islam is to be given preeminence in society, until in 2014, after the elections the taliban upped their game. They began strong arming the local mosques to apooint their candidates and to preach what the Paki mullahs say. When they wouldn't they were hit. Since then, hundreds of unreported disappearances, murders and several blasts have been carried out by the taliban, but the contractors have been the ISI.

We call this the Nangarhar Peer Review. Certain neighboring agencies sympathetic to Afghan self-determination wisely take advantage of the seemingly random hits and off the Paki appointed mullahs whenever a window presents itself.

#2  Long story short if you don't cave in to the Islamist the Islamist will blow your stuff up. With you in it.

#3  Not every Muslim is a terrorist, but almost every terrorist is a Muslim.

And the sad thing is that the majority of victims of terrorism are other Muslims.
Posted by: Rambler in Virginia || 10/19/2019 18:22 Comments || Top||

#4  A terrorist doesn't do the damage an islamist does, Rambler. And every good muslim has to be an islamist.

A good, koran-believing muslim has to be an islamist of some sort. A rationalist, tolerant and/or secular muslim is a backsliding apostate. Do not err, the islamic creed is not all about violent jihad. It is about plotting to upend all of kafir civilization and build on it an enlightened era of pure islam according to mochmed.

The only thing sad about muslims dying is that they can and will not save themselves by denouncing islam altogether. Nothing stops them from admitting that centuries of islam have wrought nothing but misery.

Breaking the Administrative State
[American Greatness] Everyone who knows American history understands that what we are experiencing today was almost inevitable. The Russia-collusion hoax, Ukraine-gate, Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation circus, all of the non-stop, relentless attacks on Donald Trump and his administration from the day he was sworn in were bound to happen.

The political moment we are living through is not the usual one. This is more than the corporate leftist media and Democratic attacks to which we’ve become accustomed against any Republican, including the usual tripe about how Bush or (pick a name) is a Nazi and the election of said Republican signals the end of days. This with Trump is about so much more.

James Piereson described it best this week at a conference co-sponsored by American Greatness and The New Criterion: we’re used to domestic politics, where the discussions are over the size of tax cuts, etc. What we are seeing today is vicious regime politics and a struggle over who is really in charge of this country’s governmental agencies. The duly elected president of the United States? Or players inside of that administrative state, along with their mouthpieces in the media?

None of these absurd fairytales of collusion were ever really about actual suspicions that Trump was somehow tied to Putin. (Though certainly many Americans bought the story.) The breathless nonstop reporting by the corporate leftist media can be explained by one of two possible causes either they are too stupid to understand what is actually taking place (a perfectly reasonable argument) or they are part and parcel of the attempted regime change from the start.

This is all about who truly decides.

The only surprise is that we didn’t reach this moment sooner as a country. It took an outsider‐someone not from Washington, D.C. and not from the ruling class‐to be elected president.

Trump was never "read into" how it’s "all supposed to work," how "things are done in D.C." No, he had the temerity to show up and think that maybe, just maybe, we are still a democratic, constitutional republic in which power still flows from "We the People" to our president and other elected officials. In response to this sensible and very American view of things, the ruling class and administrative state emphatically said, "We don’t think so."

#3  "7 ways from Sunday," etc

All you can do, really, is expose the Shitshow and hope that the People shut it down.

The Shitshow's playbill includes far more than the administrative state, whose role in the show resembles that of roadies and stagehands. The show's main actors are the pols, the directors are their wealthy donors, and the script comes from their media mouthpieces. All are members of the Global Grifter uniparty.
Posted by: Lex || 10/19/2019 11:47 Comments || Top||

#4  But how will the people shut it down, Lex ? All they can do is vote in Trump again.
Posted by: Dron66046 || 10/19/2019 12:04 Comments || Top||

#5  Not just POTUS but Congress & state houses.
We still have the secret ballot. Use it.

We are witnessing the start of a major political realignment similar to what happened in 1932 and 1968.

The key here is for Trump to break the stranglehold of the Dems on non-white voters. You'd never known from the Shitshow's dezinformatsiya, but Trump got more Hispanic votes than any GOPper ever has.

If he can swing 45% of Hispanics and Asian-Americans, and maybe 20% of African-Americans, then he can sacrifice the Never-Trumpers to the Global Grifter uno party and still win easily.

This would signify that it's time to rename the Republicans as a new National Party, with new blood/new candidates at all levels of government.

#6  Cut the funding for programs administered by the Administrative State.

Hillary Clinton Asked To Leave Costco After Repeatedly Accusing Sample Lady Of Being A Russian Asset
[Babylon Bee] According to sources at a DC-area Costco, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was asked to leave Costco again after repeatedly accusing a lady handing out food samples of being a Russian asset.

It wasn't clear how Clinton had ended up in the Costco, as she usually has her servants' servants go to the market for her. Some suggested she wanted to disguise herself and go be among her subjects to see how the other 99% lives.

Whatever the case, the sample lady had apparently offered the failed presidential candidate a small paper cup of orange juice and told her the packs were on sale for $9.49 when the incident occurred.

"Orange... orange like Trump!" Clinton screamed suddenly, frightening the poor food demonstration worker. "You're in league with him, aren't you!?" The failed presidential candidate lunged across the cart and attempted to pull off her face mask, certain the lady was actually Vladimir Putin in a skin suit.

When that failed and the woman shooed her off with a plastic glove, Clinton turned for help and began screaming, "Security! Margaret in the frozen foods aisle is a Russian asset! Help, help, our elections are being meddled with!"

Guards arrived but relaxed when they saw it was just Hillary Clinton. "OK, lady, let's go," they said, grabbing her by each arm.

"Thank goodness you're here!" Clinton cried. "Arrest that woman! Can't someone help me out!?"

Rasmussen: 51% of Voters Suspect High-Level Crimes to Stop Trump Presidency.
h/t Instapundit
[Breibart] A Rasmussen poll reveals a little more than half of likely U.S. voters suspect crimes were committed by high-level law enforcement officials in an effort to stop a Donald Trump presidency, but only 32 percent believe anyone will be punished.

The national survey, obtained via telephone and the Internet, shows 51 percent of likely U.S. voters believe high-level law enforcement officials have broken the law to stop Trump from winning the White House.
The other 49% know not to mess with the deep state?
The 51 percent who suspect high-level crimes includes 34 percent who say such a situation is "very likely."

Rasmussen Reports states that even 42 percent of Democrats "now suspect high-level wrongdoing to stop Trump."

According to the survey results, 36 percent of participants consider high-level illegality as unlikely, including 22 percent who say that situation is "not at all likely." In addition, 13 percent of likely voters are not sure.

When asked how likely it is "that criminal charges will be brought against senior federal law enforcement officials for their effort to prevent a Trump presidency," only 32 percent of all voters believe it is likely that criminal charges will be brought against the high-level law enforcement officials for their effort to stop Trump’s presidency, while 54 percent view charges against the officials as unlikely.

Britain
Chick-Fil-A's First UK Location Announces Its Closing After Little More Than A Week Due To LGBT Protest
[BBC] A US fast-food chain will cease trading at its first UK outlet amid a row over donations to anti-LGBT groups.

Gay rights campaigners called for a boycott of Chick-fil-A, which opened its first branch at The Oracle shopping centre in Reading on 10 October.

A spokeswoman for the centre said "the right thing to do" was to not extend the restaurant's lease beyond the "six-month pilot period".

Chick-fil-A said its donations were purely focused on youth and education.

The family-owned company, founded in Atlanta in 1967, is one of the biggest fast-food chains in the USA and boasts about 2,400 outlets across North America.
3rd most popular fast food chain in the US. Suck it, LGBT
According to US news website Think Progress, in 2017 the Chick-fil-A Foundation donated millions of dollars to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Paul Anderson Youth Home and the Salvation Army.

Campaigners from LGBT organisation, Reading Pride, said all three organisations have a reputation of being hostile to LGBT rights.

In 2012, the company's chairman sparked a US boycott when he said he opposed gay marriage.

Campaign continues.
Could spark a Baptist invasion. Send it back, we'll stick to carrots and cucumber sammies.

#6  What I gather from the article, is Chick-Fil-A has a 6 month test lease from The Oracle.

I'd guess these insufferable hateful lgtgheqhnjc activists were generally disrupting the entire shopping experience at The Oracle; not just Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-Fil-A will continue to operate until the lease expires. The lgbhdkjn asses pledge to continue their protests until that time - I guess as a warning to others and because they are hateful, in-compassionate bottle suckers. Mercer - How democracy made us dumb
[WND] From the riffs of outrage coming from the Democrats and their demos over "our democracy" betrayed, infiltrated even destroyed ‐ you'd never know that a rich vein of thinking in opposition to democracy runs through Western intellectual thought, and that those familiar with it would be tempted to say "good riddance."

Voicing opposition to democracy is just not done in politically polite circles, conservative and liberal alike.

For this reason, the Mises Institute's Circle in Seattle, an annual gathering, represented a break from the pack.

That is exactly what the democrats are trying to change. The founders had the right idea, but are now being vilified and their legacies trivialized only to bring about the idiot mobs into power. After that, it's just the House, and the President a figurehead. When they see a single democrat cannot muster the 'charisma' to con all 330 million people, they'll go for true democracy.

Artificial womb could save preemie babies, also raises ethical questions
[BBC] Scientists in the Netherlands say they are within 10 years of developing an artificial womb that could save the lives of premature babies. Premature birth, before 37 weeks, is globally the biggest cause of death among newborns. But, the development also raises ethical questions about the future of baby making. We meet Lisa Mandemaker, the designer working with the Maxima Medical Centre to create a prototype.

Pres. Trump Receives Warm Welcome From Record-Breaking Crowd In Dallas
[The Federalist] DALLAS, Texas ‐ It’s only fitting that the first sentence out of President Trump’s mouth at his Dallas, Texas rally on Thursday night was about the luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton.

"I am thrilled to be here, deep in the heart of Texas, where we just opened a beautiful, new Louis Vuitton plant," Trump said from the American Airlines Center podium.

Wealthy, beautiful women with designer purses is in fact what many Texans think of when they think of Dallas. That and the nutty, sprawling highway interchanges. As one "Keep America Great Rally" attendee, Dan told me, "The difference between Dallas and Fort Worth is that in Dallas they call fish ’sushi’ and in Fort Worth they call it ’bait.’"

Despite its reputation for flash, Dallas is not an elite bubble of a city, which was reflected in the 20,000 people from a variety of ethnicities, economic classes, and age groups that traveled to see the president this week. Dozens of supporters began lining up outside the venue on Tuesday, and waited in line more than 50 hours to get in. Thousands more watched outside the arena.

I spoke to people who traveled for hours across the state, even out of state, from Austin, Canton, Colorado, and Las Vegas. They were from all over the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, from the big suburbs, the small communities, and the Southern Methodist University campus a few miles away. Like many Texas cities, Dallas may be blue, but those huge highways make it extremely accessible to a lot of red. Its neighboring county, Tarrant County, hasn’t voted for a Democrat since Lyndon Johnson won his home state in 1964.

Van Jones explains Hildebeest's problem with Tulsi Gabbard
[Free Beacon] Former Obama administration adviser Van Jones accused Hillary Clinton of smearing presidential hopeful Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D., Hawaii) "with no facts."

Clinton accused Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran, of acting as a "Russian asset" on Friday. Jones dismissed Clinton's criticism as a "complete smear" that spread "disinformation."

"She's playing a very dangerous game," he told CNN. "Hillary Clinton, if you're concerned about disinformation, what the Russians do is they spread disinformation, they get us divided against each other. That is what just happened, just throw out some information, disinformation, smear somebody."

The failed 2016 Democratic nominee accused Gabbard and 2016 candidate Jill Stein of working with the Russians to get President Donald Trump reelected in 2020. Jones said Clinton is likely speaking out against Gabbard because the congresswoman broke with Democratic leadership in the 2016 election and endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) over Clinton.

"It's been payback hell ever since," Jones said.

Gabbard responded to the attacks by calling on Clinton to "join the race directly."

"It's now clear that this primary is between you and me," Gabbard tweeted. "Don't cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly."
Emphasis added.

State Department finds violations by 38 people in Clinton emails review
h/t Instapundit
The State Department identified nearly 600 security violations in its now-completed review of email records of dozens of former agency officials and aides to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The investigation, which covered the 33,000 emails Clinton provided for review, found 91 "valid violations" attributable to 38 individuals, some of whom may face disciplinary action. Another 497 violations could not be tied to any specific person.

Police remove Jews praying from Temple Mount as hundreds enter complex
[Jpost] Hundreds of Israelis entered the Temple Mount complex on Thursday, according to the Director of al-Aqsa Mosque Omar Kiswani, reported the Paleostinian WAFA news agency.

WAFA’s English-language website claimed that about 432 Israelis entered the complex, however the news agency’s Arabic-language website put the number at 814 Israelis. WAFA claimed that the Israelis performed "Talmudic rituals and prayers" on the Temple Mount.

Jews are prohibited from praying or bringing religious items onto the mount ‐ and are removed and sometimes detained if caught doing so.

According to the movement, over 650 Jews also entered the Temple Mount complex on Wednesday. A video posted by the "Students for the Temple Mount" movement on Twitter showed attorney Aviad Visoli praying there near the western side of the complex, with Israeli police demanding that he leave.

Another video, tweeted by the "Return to the Mount" movement, showed a Jewish Israeli prostrating within the Temple Mount complex before quickly being taken away by Israeli police on Wednesday.

The Waqf, an arm of the Jordanian Ministry of Sacred Properties, administers the Temple Mount site. Visits by religious Jews to the are monitored by Waqf guards and Israeli police ‐ and all Jewish prayer, including silent prayer, is forbidden, according to the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs. No sacred Jewish objects, such as prayer books or prayer shawls, may be brought onto the mount, according to the tourism website Tourist Israel.

On Wednesday, Minister of Agriculture and former MK Yehuda Glick entered the Temple Mount complex. Glick tweeted that 1,657 Jewish Israelis had entered the complex during the Sukkot holiday and intermediate days. The Temple Mount is open to Jewish entry Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. (10:30 a.m. in the winter) and again from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., according to Tourist Israel.

Israel Police heavily guarded the gates to the complex and checked the identities of Paleostinians who were entering on Wednesday, according to Shehab news.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) stated that it holds the Israeli government fully responsible for the consequences of its "systemic attacks on al-Aqsa Mosque."

The Jordan Times reported on Wednesday that UNESCO’s Executive Board unanimously endorsed a draft resolution that calls on Israel to "halt all illegal unilateral procedures and violations against al-Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif and in the Old City," according to Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah.
*shrug* It’s UNESCO. Balance is not in their DNA.
The resolution and its appendix stress all the components of Jordan’s stance on the Old City of Jerusalem and its walls, including Moslem and Christian holy sites, according to the Times.

Safa reported that there has been a "marked escalation" in the frequency of visits by Israeli Jews and "extremist calls to storm [Al-Aqsa] during the Jewish holidays amid tight restrictions imposed by the occupation authorities on the Paleostinians."

On Monday, Jordanian House of Representatives and president of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, Atef Tarawneh, warned that the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan is "under threat, in light of the blatant violation of its terms, especially with the issue of Jerusalem," according to Jordan's government news agency.

Last week the Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, terrorist organization released an official statement condemning Israeli incursions onto the Temple Mount, saying that Israel was "playing with fire" and would pay a price for their "provocations" at the Aqsa Mosque.

Hamas called on the international community to intervene and pressure Israel to stop its "violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Paleostine." The terrorist group called on Paleostinians to mobilize and defend the mosque.

WHO hails 'triumph' as Merck's Ebola vaccine gets EU green light
[Jpost] The world's first Ebola vaccine was approved by Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an drugs regulators on Friday in a move hailed by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a "triumph for public health" that would save many lives.

The vaccine, developed by U.S. drugmaker Merck & Co, is already being used under emergency guidelines to try to protect people against the spread of a deadly Ebola outbreak in Democratic Republic of the Congo
...formerly the Congo Free State, Belgian Congo, Zaire, and who knows what else, not to be confused with the Brazzaville Congo aka Republic of Congo, which is much smaller and much more (for Africa) stable. DRC gave the world Patrice Lumumba and Joseph Mobutu, followed by years of tedious civil war. Its principle industry seems to be the production of corpses. With a population of about 74 million it has lots of raw material...
It is also being reviewed under a fast-track system by regulators in the United States.

"This vaccine has already saved many lives in the current Ebola outbreak, and the decision by European regulator will help it to eventually save many more," the WHO's director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a statement.

The Congo Ebola outbreak has killed more than 2,100 people since the middle of last year. It is the second largest Ebola outbreak in history, after a 2013-16 epidemic in West Africa that killed more than 11,300.

The Merck vaccine, which the company has now brand-named Ervebo, is likely to get a full marketing license from the European Commission within a few weeks.

Merck said in a statement its priority now was to get regulatory approval of its Ervebo manufacturing site in Germany so that licensed supply of the vaccine "can be used to support global public health preparedness."

Health authorities in Kinshasa said last week they planned to introduce an experimental second Ebola vaccine, developed by drugmaker Johnson & Johnson, in November in the country's eastern provinces.

Ebola virus causes haemorrhagic fever and spreads from person to person through direct contact with body fluids. It kills around half of those it infects.

There are currently no licensed treatments for the deadly infection, but scientists said in August they were a step closer to being able to cure it after two experimental drugs showed survival rates of as much as 90% in a clinical trial in Congo.

Resident of Ofakim storms a police station, stabs officer with stick
[Jpost] A 30-year old resident of the town of Ofakim stormed into a cop shoppe on Friday and assaulted an officer with a sharpened stick, stabbing the man in his stomach.

The other officers present attempted to arrest him, at this point the man pulled out a large knife and attempted to stab them as well. He was quickly subdued, when the officers searched him they found he was carrying a drug sold under the brand name ’Nice Guy.’

Nice Guy is a designer drug that had been made illegal in Israel.

Designer drugs are designed to mimic the effects of illegal drugs using chemical variations that technically make them into a different substance, and ergo legal.

Nice Guy is sold in 24-hour convenient stores, usually by young people, who purchase the drug with strong alcohol to be consumed before a night of dancing or partying.

Nice Guy is made from a chemical variant of Meth, meaning it functions as a stimulant. The substance is highly addictive and as it is targeted at youth and sold in normative stores, is seen as dangerous.

Nice Guy is not the only drug Israelis often mistake for a permissible recreational substance, Khat, which is a stimulant containing the alkaloid cathinone, is also used by some in the Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...

On Thursday, it was reported that dozens of Israelis were arrested outside the country for smuggling it.

Teen 'Shoah party' WhatsApp chat of horrors uncovered in Italy
I have no words.
[Jpost] A WhatsApp group named "The Shoah party" featuring dozens of teen members was uncovered by Italian authorities, Italian media reported on Thursday.

Child pornography, including a video of an adult abusing a baby girl and a three-some between 10-year-olds, racist and antisemitic slurs, swastikas, ISIS
...embracing their inner Islamic Brute...
propaganda videos, praises to Hitler, Mussolini and the late Osama bin Laden
...... who is now beyond all cares and woe......
were shared in the group.

"Jews are just fuel. Where is the lighter?" read one of such messages, according to the Italian daily La Stampa.

Users could join the group when invited through a link or via Instagram.

Its existence was discovered by chance by a mother who chanced upon it while checking her 13-year-old’s smartphone.

"I felt like the world had collapsed on my head," she said, speaking on condition of anonymity
... for fear of being murdered...
She explained that her son was permitted to have his own phone provided that she would have the passcode and monitor it routinely, "because a phone in a minor’s hands can become a weapon."

When she opened the device one April afternoon, her attention was immediately captured by the name of the group "The Shoah party."

"It was all about violence, abuse, physical and psychological domination of 'others', whether this meant Jews, sick people or children," she said.

After realizing that the chat included two classmates of her son, the woman got in touch with their mothers, but, after they brushed her off, she decided to go to the police.

"My son is not a suspect in the investigation, but only a witness. Even if this weren’t the case though, I wouldn’t have stopped, not only because reporting it to the authorities was a civic duty, but also because we cannot accept that young teens spread obscenities in the name of Hitler or the Jihad," she further told La Stampa.

Her son explained to her that he accepted the invitation to join the group because the messages inviting him were stalling his phone and interfering with his abilities to play video games on it, and after briefly checking out the group, he never looked at what was shared again.

According to Italian media, while around 300 people became part of the group at some point and then left it, there are currently 26 people under investigation, mostly minors. The four chat administrators are under 14 years old and cannot, therefore, be prosecuted under criminal law in Italia.

Austria court sentences ‘Islamic Nazis’ to prison for ISIS recruitment
[Jpost] The prosecutor called for tough sentences, declaring "Islamists are Islamic Nazis," according to a report in the mass-circulation paper Kronen Zeitung.

The prosecutor called for tough sentences, declaring "Islamists are Islamic Nazis," according to a report in the mass-circulation paper Kronen Zeitung. He added that "We have to stop with false tolerance," because basic state rights "are attacked" in these [Islamic] associations.

The prosecutor blasted radical Islamic associations in which "Islamism supplants the rule of law if we are not careful."

After ten days of judicial hearings, the court in Graz, the capital of the Styria state, sentenced a holy man to seven years in prison.

The 47-year-old Islamic preacher was charged with recruiting a number of young men to join the Islamic State.

According to Kronen, the defense attorney for the imam said "there is no evidence" that the preacher recruited and radicalized men to fight for the Islamic State. The attorney said the preacher warned others against fighting for the terrorist entity.

The court sentenced three additional Islamists to penalties ranging from five months to six years for their roles in the terrorist recruitment process. Two men were acquitted. The convicted men can appeal the verdicts. One of the Islamists purchased a rifle scope for a Kalashnikov and sent it to his brother - a sniper for the Islamic State.

The defense attorney said that it was "a mistake" because his client did not know what his brother had needed it for.
"Could've been hunting elk"
"He will not have used it as a paperweight," said the prosecutor.

Northern Syria ceasefire: Details disputed and bullets continue to fly
[Rudaw] It took mere hours for cracks to appear in the US-brokered agreement for a five-day cessation of hostilities between Ottoman Turkish forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeastern Syria. Officials from all sides have issued contradictory statements revealing different interpretations of the deal and eight civilians have reportedly been killed less than 24 hours into the truce.

US Vice President Mike Pence announced the ceasefire in a presser in Ankara late on Thursday after hours of talks with Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First

Under the 13-point agreement, which does not use the word ceasefire, states, "The Ottoman Turkish side will pause Operation Peace Spring in order to allow the withdrawal of YPG from the safe zone within 120 hours. Operation Peace Spring will be halted upon completion of this withdrawal."

Israeli guards kill Palestinian assailant in West Bank, 48 Gazans injured in weekly Friday riots
Whaddaya gonna do? It’s Friday, and the boys need to let off a little steam.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Israeli security guards at a West Bank crossing into Israel rubbed out a Paleostinian assailant who ran at them with a knife on Friday, the Israeli defense ministry said.

Civilian guards employed by the MOD Crossing Points Authority called on the man to stop but when he kept coming he was shot and killed, the ministry said in a statement.

The incident took place just outside the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarem.

The Paleostinian health ministry confirmed that a man was killed by Israeli fire but did not immediately identify him.

An Israeli military spokeswoman told AFP that around 4,500 Paleostinians staged disturbances along the border fence, some throwing petrol bombs and bombs.

"A number of suspects breached the fence in the north of the strip but they immediately went back into the strip," she said in Hebrew.

"Response was with riot control means in accordance with the rules of engagement," she added.

Paleostinians have been gathering for weekly demonstrations at various points along the border of the blockaded territory since March 2018.

Mexico admits freeing Chapo's son after badly planned operation
[Dhaka Tribune] Mexico's president faced a firestorm of criticism Friday as his security forces acknowledged they arrested kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman's son, then released him when his cartel responded with an all-out shootout.
What a Clusterf*ck. Illusory sovereignty, indeed
Admitting his troops carried out a "badly planned" operation, Defense Minister Luis Sandoval said they briefly arrested Ovidio Guzman ‐ one of several sons running the Sinaloa narco mob since their father was extradited to the US in 2017 ‐ but released him after being overpowered.

"It was a badly planned strategy," Sandoval told a news conference in Culiacan, the western city of 750,000 people that was turned into an urban war zone Thursday.

"The task force acted too hastily. [The operation] wasn't improvised, there was planning, but... it takes time to obtain an arrest warrant. When the operation was already under way, they decided to improvise and try to obtain a positive result," he said, after flying into the city ‐ the state capital of Sinaloa, the Guzmans' bastion ‐ for an emergency security cabinet meeting.

He added the authorities never "formally detained" Guzman, 28, one of at least nine children "El Chapo" fathered with three wives.

The six hours of festivities left one civilian and seven soldiers dead, and three police maimed, officials said.

The only question is: Are our politicians too corrupted by cartel money to declare war on the cartel? They won't even secure the border when they know full well that if they did it would cut off the cartel's income and thereby help Mexico's government get the upper hand in this war. But then, that would cut off a significant income stream for our politicians.

Internal emails reveal de Blasio had City Hall staff help with reelection bid
[NYPOST] Mayor Bill de Blasio
...cryptocommie mayor of New York and for some reason a Dem candidate for president in 2020. Corrupt and incompetent, his qualifications for office seem to consist of being married to a black woman, with whom he honeymooned in Cuba. He has a preppy-looking son named Dante, whose Divine Comedy involved getting his back hair up when a police car drove past him slowly...
regularly used his City Hall staff to boost his 2017 reelection bid while state and federal authorities were investigating his campaign fundraising practices, according to internal emails released Thursday.
"Mayor Putz"
City rules prevent public employees from using their official time for political purposes. Yet over 205 pages of emails between the mayor and his two sets of staff, obtained through a Freedom of Information request and first reported by the Daily News, show that they routinely flouted those rules.

In the most glaring example happened in December 2016 when the mayor asked his campaign and City Hall staff to coordinate a meeting with a deep-pocketed donor ‐ and then tried to rope a deputy mayor into the fundraising effort.

"Steve Mostyn is in town from Dallas," the mayor wrote to his City Hall scheduler and the deputy finance director for his campaign on Dec. 5, 2016.

"Very important I see him. Pls set up," de Blasio wrote. His campaign finance director, Elana Leopold, followed up on her boss’s email.

"Mayor wants an hour w him and wants Herminia to stop by to say hi at the front of [sic] back end," Leopold wrote, referring to then Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services Dr. Hermania Palacio.

De Blasio’s official scheduler, Prisca Salazar-Rodriguez, suggested having the meeting at City Hall before his Leopold said, "I don’t think it’s allowed to be at City Hall."

Members of Mostyn’s family later donated nearly $10,000 to the mayor’s reelection campaign.

A mayoral spokeswoman Freddi Goldstein said "the mayor wanted to Deputy Mayor Palacio to attend because they had a personal connection and he thought they’d enjoy meeting. She wasn’t able to attend, however, and the meeting did not occur at City Hall."

Friday warned that Ankara would restart its operation against Kurdish forces in Syria on Tuesday evening if they did not withdraw from a "safe zone".

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...Qatar's satrapy in Asia Minor...
has agreed to suspend its offensive for five days in northern Syria while Kurdish fighters withdraw from the area, after high stake talks with US Vice President Mike Pence in Ankara.

"If the promises are kept until Tuesday evening, the safe zone issue will be resolved. If it fails, the operation... will start the minute 120 hours are over," Erdogan told news hounds during a foreign media briefing in Istanbul.

He said Ottoman Turkish armed forces would remain in the region "because the security there requires this", adding that the agreement was holding and there had been no issues so far.

But the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Friday there had been Ottoman Turkish air strikes on the village of Bab al-Kheir, east of Ras al-Ain on the border. The war monitor said 14 non-combatants were killed.

Turkey launched the cross-border incursion on October 9 after repeatedly threatening to clear the border area from the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) militia.

The Ottoman Turkish forces are supporting Syrian opposition fighters under the "Syrian National Army" banner but the proxies have been accused by Amnesia Amnesty International of committing "war crimes" including summary executions.

Shtayyeh Invites Doctors in Israel to Work in Palestinian Hospitals
Why would they want to do such a thing?
[AAWSAT] Paleostinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh called on doctors in Israeli hospitals to work in the West Bank.

The call came after the Paleostinian Authority froze more than six months ago the transfer of Paleostinian patients from the West Bank and Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip to Israeli hospitals for medical treatment, as part of the response to Israeli financial steps against the Authority.

The PA agreed with Jordan and Egypt to transfer Paleostinian patients to hospitals there instead of Israel.
I think that was a brilliant idea — they can get inferior treatment, and Israel won’t be stuck with deadbeats who may or may not experience Sudden Jihad Syndrome while stuck on other side of the boundary.
Shtayyeh made the call during a meeting with a delegation from Physicians for Human Rights. Observers said he might be looking for medical cooperation.

The Paleostinian prime minister suggested that doctors come to Paleostinian hospitals and offer treatment to patients, instead of transferring patients to Israeli hospitals for treatment, which forces the PA to pay high sums to Israel every month.
So the PA has been treating medical bills from Israel differently than they do electrical bills from Israel?
He also accused Israeli hospitals of providing unnecessary medical services to patients, in order to increase the hospital bill, a claim denied by Israel.

The PA says Israeli hospitals charge them exorbitant prices and that the costs of treatment were exaggerated.
Get some cheap Cuban care
Israeli media said Shtayyeh wanted not only Arab, but Israeli doctors as well. But a subsequent statement from the government said the prime minister called on Paleostinian doctors inside Israeli hospitals to work in Paleostinian hospitals to strengthen the medical staff and provide it with various specializations.
As the Germans say, geh mit Gott — aber geh!
Israeli Ran Goldstein, director of Physicians for Human Rights, said Shtayyeh "did not say he was only interested in Arab doctors; he said he wanted to develop the health system. He did not specify whether he wanted Jewish or Arab doctors."

Into the paddy wagon wit' yez!
in 1996 for being part of a plot led by the late Egyptian holy man Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman that also planned to target FBI offices.

He was transferred to a detention center in July after serving most of his 30-year sentence and deported on October 12, according to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

"This removal is a victory for the United States and further emphasizes ICE’s vital role in protecting our nation," Simona Flores-Lund, an ICE director in Philadelphia, said in a statement.

Abdelghani was among 10 people convicted of seditious conspiracy against the US and attempted bombings at the end of 1995 following a trial that lasted almost a year.

The attacks, thwarted in June 1993, were aimed at pressing the US to curb its support of Israel and the plotters also planned to blow up tunnels and bridges in Manhattan.

The men were not charged with the 1993 World Trade Center bombing that left six dead and around 1,000 injured, but officials suspected they had links to it.

Abdel Rahman, nicknamed "The Blind Sheikh," was the leader of Egyptian holy warrior group Jamaa Islamiya
...”the Islamic Group”, whose name is also translated as al-Jama'a al-Islamiyya, El Gama'a El Islamiyya, Gamaat Islamiya, al Jamaat al Islamiya, etc. They split off from the Moslem Brotherhood back in the 1970s when that lot formally gave up volence. In the old days they were linked to Al Qaeda and funded by the governments of Iran and Sudan. In 2011 they went in for politics...
. He died in a US federal prison in 2017.
The Daily Caller has more details.

On Thursday night, after five hours of negotiations, Turkey and the US, with Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), reached a ceasefire agreement to halt Operation Peace Spring, now in its ninth day, into Kurdish-controlled territories in Northern Syria. The Operation aims to rid the northeastern region of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) and resettle up to 3 million Syrian refugees living in Turkey.

Kurdish mayors replaced in Turkey in crackdown on criticism of Syria assault
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
replaced the mayors of a Kurdish-majority town in its southeast with a state official, the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) said, amid a crackdown at home on criticism of Ankara’s offensive in Syria.

The HDP said five of its co-mayors in the southeastern Kurdish-majority towns of Hakkari, Yuksekova and Nusaybin, had been placed in durance vile

pending trial on Thursday. Two other co-mayors in the district of Ercis were detained earlier this week and remain in jug, it said.

Turkey has launched a crackdown against dissent in its majority Kurdish areas following its assault against Kurdish-controlled parts of neighboring Syria. Protests have been broken up with tear gas and scores of people have been arrested for criticizing the military campaign online.

The HDP governs many cities in the mainly Kurdish southeast of Turkey. It typically appoints one male and one female co-mayor to promote gender equality.

Semire Nergiz and Ferhat Kut, co-mayors of Nusaybin, were accused of being members of a terrorist organization and replaced by a state-appointed trustee on Friday, the HDP said.

Yuksekova co-mayors Remziye Yasar and Irfan Sari were placed in durance vile
You have the right to remain silent...
for their interviews, columns and social media posts. It was not immediately clear what the Hakkari mayor Cihan Kahraman was accused of.

The state-owned Anadolu news agency said on Friday local administrators had been appointed to replace mayors in Yuksekova and Hakkari.

Nusaybin is a town on the Syrian border in the southeastern Mardin province, while Hakkari and Yuksekova are situated on the border with Iran.

Nusaybin has been the target of cross-border attacks during the operation, with a mortar and rocket attack by Kurdish holy warriors last week killing eight people and wounding 35 others.

Friday’s moves came just hours after Turkey agreed with the United States to pause its offensive in Syria for five days to allow Kurdish forces to withdraw from a planned "safe zone" in Syria’s northeast.

While most of Turkey’s opposition parties have backed the offensive against the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia, the HDP has called for it to stop, describing it as an "invasion attempt." HDP says the operation was an attempt by the government to drum up support amid declining public backing.

Economy
People Republic of California goes nuts and limits how much a freelance author can write in a year.
[The Hollywood Reporter] A new bill that caps freelance submissions may make writing financially unsustainable for many workers even though the legislator
(Lorena Gonzalez, D-Union Whore)
behind the law insists that the goal is "to create new good jobs and a livable, sustainable wage job."
The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, ‘tis said.
California-based freelance writer Arianna Jeret recently learned about Assembly Bill 5 and is now concerned she and her colleagues in CA may soon be speaking about their jobs in the past tense.
Secondary effects — always a shock when thinking is not one of one’s skillz.
Jeret, who contributes to relationship websites YourTango.com and The Good Men Project, says freelance writing has helped support her two children and handle their different school schedules. Her current gigs — covering mental health, lifestyle and entertainment — allow her to work from home, from the office and even from her children's various appointments. "There were just all of these benefits for my ability to still be an active parent in my kids' lives and also support us financially that I just couldn't find anywhere in a steady job with anybody," she says.

Jeret is now coming to terms with how her lifestyle will change come Jan. 1, when AB 5, California legislation aimed directly at the gig economy that was signed into law Sept. 18, will go into effect.

The bill, which cracks down on companies — like ride-sharing giants Lyft and Uber — that misclassify would-be employees as independent contractors, has been percolating through the California legislative system for nearly a year. It codifies the 2018 Dynamex decision by the State Supreme Court while carving out some exemptions for specific professions.

But the exemption for freelance journalists — which some have only just learned about via their colleagues, press reports, social networks and/or spirited arguments with the bill's author on Twitter — contains what some say is a potentially career-ending requirement for a writer to remain a freelancer: If a freelance journalist writes for a magazine, newspaper or other entity whose central mission is to disseminate the news, the law says, that journalist is capped at writing 35 "submissions" per year per "putative employer." At a time when paid freelance stories can be written for a low end of $25 and high end of $1 per word, some meet that cap in a month just to make end's meet.

Amy Lamare, who writes for money site Celebritynetworth.com and YourTango.com, adds, "Everyone's freaking out, like my anxiety is going through the damn roof."

#8  They probably could. Who is going to be checking up on the millions of these employees that are out there? A lot of these people work multiple gig jobs so that they never become totally dependent on anybody. Now they'll have to get in line and slave for an employer who has been suitably vetted by California's People's State (if they can even find a replacement job). The obvious solution is that most people and companies will simply ignore the law.

As Ayn Rand said, it's impossible to rule the innocent. They want to make everybody into a criminal. To make people guilty of something, to make them feel their guilt, and rule them through it.

#16  Not to be contrarian but Uber et al are continuing the great Silicon Valley tradition of scamming the nation's employment laws in order to mischaracterize actual employees - regular, long-term, full-time, focused on non-temporary and unchanging assignments-- as temps engaged in short duration project work.

This is a blatant violation of longstanding employment law and it's used for no purpose other than to avoid paying legitimate benefits and signing legitimate contracts with people who are in no way shape or form part-timefreelancers.

Microsoft, Google, Oracle, ALL of the tech companies have been engaged in this scam for decades. IIUC DOJ has fined MS for this scummy and illegal behavior on at least one occasion. The big tech companies now coach their managers on how to avoid getting caught.

So please don't confuse the very necessary crackdown on Uber et al with Big Brother. It's nothing of the sort.

Grand Mufti: Libya has the right to launch tit-for-tat attacks on the UAE
[Libya Observer] Grand Mufti Sheikh al-Sadiq al-Ghariani
...Libyan Moslem Brüderhood Grand Mufti since 2012. Issued a fatwa forbidding Libyan women from marrying foreign men. Issued a fatwa against a UN Commission on the Status of Women's report because it urged governments to protect women and girls against violence. Aligned with the GNC govt...
said Libyans have the right to defend themselves from the UAE’s brutal air raids on civilians and infrastructure in Libya, urging the Libyan government to look for anti-UAE allies to curb its evil.

Reacting to Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
’s Furnaj massacre by warlord Khalifa Haftar
...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all...
’s UAE-backed air force, the influential Mufti asked the Libyan authorities "Why don’t we forge an alliance with a country that is hostile to the UAE to bomb its airports as it does in Libya?"

Speaking on his weekly Fatwa program on Tanasuh TV on Wednesday, the Mufti said complaining to the United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
Security Council about the UAE attacks on Libya won’t be useful because La Belle France, a permanent member in the UNSC, is also attacking Libya by providing weapons and logistic support for warlord Khalifa Haftar in his war on Tripoli.

The UAE is taking warlord Khalifa Haftar’s side in the Libyan conflict, sending him money, weapons and mercenaries to kill his opponents on the pretext of fighting terrorism.

The latest victims of their air raids in Tripoli were three maiden of tender yearss from one family. Their mother and fourth sister were flown to Italia for treatment suffering from critical injuries.

"President Assad receives Iraqi national security adviser Faleh Fayadh, who has a message from Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi," Fayadh’s office said in a statement published on Facebook.

Syrian state media agency SANA published a regime statement on the meeting, which focused mainly on the border and counterterrorism.

"The message revolved around the means of the development of bilateral ties, elevating the existing coordination between the two sides to higher levels in all fields, whether in the counterterrorism field or the security of the border in light of recent developments," read the Syrian side’s statement.

"Iraq pays great attention to what is happening on the Syrian field, especially near the Iraqi border, and the fleeing of terrorist fighters and their families to the Iraqi border [due to the Ottoman Turkish operation]," said Iraq’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Ali Hakeem.

The Iraqi minister also Iraq will take back all Iraqi ISIS fighters and their families in Syria, will not shirk responsibility for its citizens, and wants to give them a "fair trial" at home.

US: Honduran president's brother found guilty of drug trafficking
[Al Jazeera] Honduran politician Juan Antonio "Tony" Hernandez was found guilty of United States drug trafficking charges on Friday after a two-week trial that featured dramatic accusations of corruption against his brother, the Central American nation's president.

The verdict against Hernandez, 41, on all counts, was handed up by a jury in federal court in Manhattan. He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 17 and faces up to life in prison.

"They reached a verdict that was inconsistent with the truth," one of Hernandez's lawyers, Omar Malone, told journalists outside the court. "We plan to appeal on behalf of Mr Hernandez."

Members of Hernandez's family who attended the trial were swarmed by protesters as they left the court. Some protesters chanted "Fuera JOH", meaning "Out with JOH", referring to Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez.

Tony Hernandez was arrested in Miami in 2018 and charged with drug trafficking and possessing illegal weapons. US prosecutors accused him of helping smuggle almost 200,000kg (200 tonnes) of cocaine into the United States while enjoying the protection of his brother. President Hernandez has repeatedly denied the allegation.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iraqi govt. source challenges IRGC’s story of arrest of Iranian dissident
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] An Iraqi government source has challenged the story of the arrest of an Iranian opposition journalist put forward by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Ruhollah Zam, who Iran’s IRGC claimed to have captured in a "complex operation," was in fact arrested by Iraqi intelligence services in Baghdad and handed over to Iran, according to an Iraqi government source cited by media reports.

The IRGC claimed on Monday that it arrested opposition figure Zam, who ran "counter-revolutionary" Telegram channel Amadnews, in a "sophisticated and professional operation."

The statement did not say when or where he was arrested, but hours later, state-run TV showed Zam saying that he is full of "regret" for his opposition to the Islamic Theocratic Republic.

Media reports have now surfaced that challenge the IRGC’s account of the events.

Zam was arrested by Iraqi intelligence services ‐ not the IRGC ‐ shortly after landing in Baghdad on Saturday and later handed over to Iran, according to the Persian services of Al Arabiya, the BBC and the Independent, who based their reports on an "informed source in the Iraqi government."

Zam was kept with the Iraqi intelligence service for over a day and then handed over to Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
based on an extradition agreement signed between the two countries in 2011, said the source.

Zam’s wife Mahsa Razani confirmed that her husband had flown to Iraq. She had not heard from him for a day, and then later had a phone conversation with him where he did not speak "normally," she told the BBC Persian.

Zam was among thousands arrested during the 2009 Iranian presidential elections protests. He fled the country after being released and was granted political asylum in La Belle France.

Zam’s father is holy man Mohammad-Ali Zam, a reformist politician who served in senior government positions in the 1980s and 1990s.

According to the Iraqi source, when the plane carrying Zam landed in Baghdad on Saturday, he was not allowed to get off the plane.

Zam was arrested at 03:30 AM local time and was handed over to the Iranian authorities over a day later, the source added.

Zam was transferred to Iran by land, according to the source.

The Iraqi intelligence service had no long-term knowledge of any plan to arrest Zam and received a last-minute request to arrest Zam from the Iranians ‐ presumably in line with the extradition agreement ‐ on Thursday, October 11.

Zam was interrogated by Iranians after his arrest in Iraq, the source added.

Zam’s channel on messenger app Telegram attracted a lot of attention for covering the anti-regime protests that broke out in Iran between December 2017 and January 2018 in over 100 cities.

...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
says The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
's military will set up 12 observations posts along the border in northern Syria if a planned safe zone is established.

Speaking to foreign journalists in Istanbul on Friday, Erdogan said the safe zone would stretch from the city of Manbij to the Iraqi border.

"The safe zone we have expressed is not just between Ayn al-Arab (Kobane) and Tel Abyad," he said.

The Ottoman Turkish leader also told news hounds that 195 out of some 750 Islamic State

They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. gunnies who he said were set free by Syrian Kurdish fighters as Turkey launched its push into Syrian territory have been re-captured. Ottoman Turkish nationals among them would be imprisoned and tried in Turkey, Erdogan said.

Asked to comment on reports of atrocities committed by Turkey-backed Syrian forces, Erdogan said the Turkish army and intelligence service were investigating them.

SA government apologizes for power cuts
[AFRICANEWS] The government of South Africa has apologized for the power cuts that have affected the country for two days, which is threatening the fragile economy of the continent’s leading industrial power.

For a while now power cuts have been recurrent as many users record damages at homes and in businesses.

"We must, on behalf of the government, apologize to all businesses, to students who cannot take their exams, for the inconvenience this causes. We are studying the problems affecting Eskom and we want to assure South Africans that we will return to a normal situation," South African Vice President David Mabuza told Parliament .

Public electricity giant Eskom, which supplies 95% of the electricity produced in South Africa, took a nose dive when the company in June 2019 announced a debt of more than 1 billion dollars, hitting record net losses. Eskom cited breakdowns in their plants as the cause of these cuts and promised a return to normality soon.

The government of President Cyril Ramaphosa announced in July that it will device a rescue plan to support the power supplier.

Tax-Funded Muslims Seek to End "Christian privilege"
[FreedomProject] Muslim radicals funded by the U.S. government are working with officials in Michigan, Minnesota, and other states to put an end to what they describe as "Christian privilege" in public schools. Instead, they want government education to "infuse the curriculum" with Islamic "intellectual traditions."
Say it with me: “The Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States of America guarantees the separation of church and state, and no establishment of religion.” So do many state constitutions. If you want religious instruction, set up a private school whose curriculum meets state academic standards, like everyone else, or home school.
The real goals of the effort, though, have nothing to do with ending mythical "Christian privilege." In fact, public schools in America have been successfully turning children against Christianity and the Bible for generations.

Instead, the goal of the Islamic effort is to indoctrinate students into being ashamed of their nation's great Christian roots, while promoting Islam at taxpayer expense to children in government care.

In a handout
this handout
titled "Islamophobia and Christian Privilege" being distributed to school officials, a copy of which was obtained by The Newman Report, authorities are told that schools must recognize that "Islamophobia" is among the most widespread and tolerated forms of "oppression" in America.

To deal with it, schools are told they must work to deconstruct "Christian privilege" and "White privilege." This "privilege" is defined as having Sundays and Christian holidays off, as well as "approaches to learning, purpose of education, and even sources of what counts as knowledge."

As part of "empowering Muslim student identities," educators are told that schools must complete "annual equity audits," have "Muslim student speak-outs," and spend tax money promoting Islam.

Sources tell The Newman Report that school boards and officials in Minnesota are anxious to implement the schemes.

After all, this is where Muslim Attorney General Keith Ellison and Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) are supported by a fast-growing community of Islamists imported by the U.S. government from the Middle East and Africa.

The "Islamophobia and Christian Privilege" document was copyrighted by Indiana University School of Education's Great Lakes Equity Center. It was funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education (grant number S004D110021).

The primary author listed on the Islamic demands was Islamist Dr. Muhammad Khalifa, a University of Minnesota professor dealing with "education" and "organizational leadership." He also specializes in performing Sharia-compliant "equity audits" on U.S. schools.

Do read the rest of this infuriating story at the Freedom Project

An example of one of the videos being shown to white school students in Minnesota right now. Similar videos and even textbooks glorifying Islam and demonizing Christianity are being used in government schools across America. This is true even in Utah, as school books obtained by The Newman Report show clearly.

Not white students, Dron66046, public school students.

[DAWN] A Singaporean man became the first of the country's citizens to be tossed in the clink

for financing terrorism after he was convicted of sending money to a radical Moslem preacher.

There have been a steady stream of arrests in Singapore related to support for extremism, and the affluent city-state's leaders have warned it is a prime target for an attack.

Ahmed Hussein Abdul Kadir Sheik Uduman was tossed in the clink

After converting to Islam and training in Saudi Arabia, our miscreant preached murder and mayhem across England to a laundry list of bad guys for eleven years, until the Brits jailed him for it in 2003. They deported him to Jamaica four years later. After he spent 2009 touring Africa, Kenya deported him back to Jamaica. for nine years in Britannia in 2003 after calling for the murders of non-Moslems and was deported to his native Jamaica after serving four years of his sentence.

Hussein, who was handed a prison term on Thursday, was arrested in July 2018 under Singapore's Internal Security Act, which allows for detention without trial for up to two years.

He had been radicalised and "wanted to undertake armed violence in Syria in support of the IS group in Iraq and Syria," court documents said.

The prosecution recommended jail time to send "a strong message to other like-minded individuals that supporting terrorist propaganda through financial means will attract uncompromising punishment", they said.

In September, authorities detained three Indonesian maids without trial over allegations they donated funds to support the IS group. And in July, two Singaporeans accused of intending to join the Death Eaters were arrested.

The IS group lost the last scrap of its self-declared "caliphate" this year but remains influential. There are fears that imported muscle returning from the Middle East could rejuvenate terror networks elsewhere, including in Southeast Asia.

UN renews its demand for the release of MP Seham Sergiwa and all those forcibly disappeared in Libya
[EN.ALWASAT.LY] On Thursday, the U.N. Support Mission in Libya called for the immediate release of politician Seham Sergiwa, who was kidnapped in mid-July by button men from her house in the eastern city of Benghazi ‐ the Libyan National Army stronghold.

"We will continue to lift our voices to demand her release and that those responsible for her violent abduction be held accountable," the UNSMIL statement said.

Since her kidnapping, Libya's eastern authorities have failed to reveal her whereabouts.

Although a member of the east-based parliament known for its loyalty to Haftar, Sergiwa was a vocal critic of the Libyan National Army offensive on Tripoli.

In Thursday's statement, the UNSMIL condemned Sergiwa's kidnapping as an attempt "to silence one of Libya's prominent female voices and to intimidate other women seeking to participate in the country's political life."

‘Absurd, Immoral and Offensive’: UN Member-States Hand Maduro Regime Seat on Human Rights Council
The inside baseball details of yesterday’s story.
[CNSNEWS] Despite the public appeals of human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
advocates and behind-the-scenes lobbying, U.N. member-states on Thursday elected Venezuela
...a country in Central America that sits on an enormous pool of oil. Formerly the most prospereous country in the region, it became infested with Commies sniffing almost unlimited wealth. It turned out the wealth wasn't unlimited, the economy collapsed under the clownish Hugo Chavez, the murder rate exceeds places like Honduras and El Salvador, and a significant proportion of the populace as refugeed to Colombia and points south...
onto the world’s body’s Human Rights Council, handing the socialist Maduro regime more votes than Costa Rica, a stable liberal democracy.

Until the small Central American country declared its candidacy just weeks ago, Venezuela had been virtually assured a seat on the Geneva-based HRC, since it was one of two candidates running for two seats earmarked for the Latin America and the Caribbean group.

But Costa Rica’s candidacy, while turning the "closed slate" election into a competitive race ‐ with three countries running for two vacant seats ‐ failed to win over sufficient member-states.

Voting by secret ballot in New York, 105 members of the U.N. General Assembly threw their support behind the Maduro regime. Costa Rica received 96 votes. (Brazil, the region’s third candidate, won 153 votes.)

Amid a deep political and humanitarian crisis in Venezuela, the U.S. and 54 other countries no longer recognize Nicolás Maduro’s regime as the legitimate government. They support the head of the National Assembly, Juan Guaidó
...Venezuelan politician, a member of the social-democratic Popular Will party, and serves as a federal deputy to the National Assembly representing the state of Vargas. In 2019 he was appointed by the Popular Will party to become the president of the National Assembly, after which he declared he was acting president of the country, challenging Nicolás Maduro's presidency and starting the 2019 Venezuelan presidential crisis....
, as interim president in accordance with the constitution, pending new elections.

But Maduro retains strong support in the bloc of developing nations known as the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), whose 120 members comprise a majority in the General Assembly.

Lebanon Annuls Taxes On WhatsApp Calls After Strong Street Protests
[AAWSAT] Only hours after taking a decision to impose a charge of 20 cents per day for calls via voice over Internet protocol (VoIP), the Lebanese government backed down from the plans and said no additional taxes should be introduced in the 2020 state budget.

The reversal came after angry people erupted into the streets of Beirut, the suburbs and provinces and they cut off several roads across the country with burning tires.

Following a cabinet session held on Thursday, Information Minister Jamal Jarrah said a decision was taken a day earlier to impose the 20 cents based on a proposal from the Minister of Communications, Mohammed Choucair.

The government says that such a decision would generate around $200 million in revenues.

On news about the government decision, protests spread across the country to the suburbs and provinces, prompting several deputies to change their position and say they were against the levy. Choucair told local television on Thursday evening that Prime Minister Saad Hariri

When his father died he inherited a fortune of some $4.1 billion, which won't do him much good if Hizbullah has him bumped off, too....
ordered him to cancel any charges on voice calls.

Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil, took to Twitter in the evening to explain that the 2020 state budget does not include any taxes and that the fee on WhatsApp calls has no relation to the budget.

He can still get his Brexit legislation through Parliament but if he doesn't, the EU will certainly grant an extension, maybe as late as October 31.

#7  I'm betting on 'second referendum and no more brexit'. Of course it's not what I'd want, but that's the kind of thing expected from this facade.

"We... uhh, we just changed our mind. Bollocks to brexit."

#8  What's wrong about asking the people to decide on this question: Do you want the UK to leave on the proposed terms or stay within the EU?

o Yes, Leave
o No, Remain

Posted by: European Conservative || 10/19/2019 14:09 Comments || Top||

#9  An astute man would see that as :

O You think you could leave on your terms ? After ye gave up yer sovrinty ? Spend another few years selecting the person Brussels will deal with. Dissolve your parliament again and again.

O Noice experiment eh, nonce ? Status Quo for your trouble.

There is no exit. Knew that from the start. If it happens, the EU... nope, it just can't be allowed by the politicians, the civil servants, the multinational corporations.

I'd be really very surprised if brexit actually happened.

I'd be really very surprised if peaceful Brexit happens now. The British branch of EU elites just signed their class' death warrant.

#14  Blame the Tories who screwed this up big time. There was enough time to negotiate a good deal. But the UK always wanted to have the cake and eat it.

#16  Had the question already, Britain voted to leave the EUSSR.

Maybe when Britain votes to Leave they can "ask" a third time "are you sure you're sure?"

I think MPs are going to find out if they decide to ignore the rules of democracy then the people they decided they're "more equal" than will act too.

Pakistan given final lifeline, to remain in FATF grey list till February 2020
Yesterday’s question answered. For the nonce, anyway.
[DAWN] The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on Friday formally announced that Pakistain will remain on its grey list for the next four months, handing it a final lifeline after acknowledging recent improvements.

The task force directed Islamabad to take more measures for complete elimination of terror financing and money laundering while expressing serious concerns over the lack of progress in addressing terror financing risks.

"The FATF strongly urges Pakistain to swiftly complete its full action plan by February 2020," it said in its statement. "Otherwise, should significant and sustainable progress not be made across the full range of its action plan by the next Plenary, the FATF will take action."

"Since June 2018, when Pakistain made a high-level political commitment to work with the FATF and the Asia-Pacific Group (APG) to strengthen its anti-money laundering (AML) and counter terror financing (CTF) regime and to address its strategic counter-terrorist financing-related deficiencies, Pakistain has made progress towards improving its AML/CFT regime, including the recent development of its money laundering / terror financing risk assessment," the FATF conceded.

France Arrests Person in Sept. 11-Style Attack Threat
[AAWSAT] One person is in French custody on preliminary terrorism charges after threatening a Sept. 11-style plane hijacking and attack.

Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said on La Belle France-2 television Thursday night that the person was arrested Sept. 26 while "in the process of planning" such an attack.

He provided no further details, but said it was the 60th time that French authorities have thwarted a potential attack since 2013.

The French counterterrorism prosecutor's office did not provide further details.

The French security apparatus is under fire after a police administrator killed four colleagues inside Gay Paree police headquarters earlier this month in what prosecutors consider a potential terrorist attack.
Ynet adds:
A young man flagged for Islamic radicalism is in French custody on preliminary terrorism charges after threatening a Sept. 11-style plane hijacking and attack, authorities said Friday.

Bahrain FM to Asharq Al-Awsat: Qatar Plays Negative Role to Obstruct Solution In Yemen
[AAWSAT] Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said on Thursday the signing of a final agreement between the Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
i government and the Southern Transitional Council (STC) under the auspices of Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
would be a "major leap forward concerning the future stability of Yemen, particularly following the important meetings held in this regard in Jeddah."

The taliban are... uhh, looking to murder innocents ? While the troops may have the occasional targeting accident or unintentionally cause collateral. For a man of your intellectual stature that should be a 'no-brainer'.

Sudan, Rebel Groups Agree on Roadmap for Peace Talks
[AAWSAT] Sudan and a major rebel group agreed on Friday to a roadmap that will allow suspended peace talks to resume, giving new impetus to efforts by the government to end multiple conflicts around the country, the two sides said.

The government and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) agreed that the focus of the negotiations would be political issues first, followed by humanitarian concerns and then security arrangements.

Friday’s announcement came during peace talks between the government and multiple rebel groups, hosted by neighboring South Sudan. Negotiations will continue over the weekend.

Sudan’s ruling council and rebel groups restarted peace talks on Monday to end years-long conflicts, a prerequisite for the United States to remove Sudan from its list of sponsors of terrorism.

The talks were partly suspended on Wednesday after the SPLM-N, a rebel group in the southern states of Blue Nile and South Kordofan, accused Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Force of occupying new areas and attacking and arresting traders.

SPLM-N front man al-Jack Mahmoud al-Jack told Rooters that the government had agreed to the group’s demands to restart talks.

"We suspended the negotiations due to the violations committed by the government," Jack said. "The government has withdrawn its forces ... and it declared cessation of hostilities plus released the detained people."

LNA Spox: Misrata air defense storage facilities targeted with air strikes
[EN.ALWASAT.LY] The front man for the General Command of Libyan National Army (LNA), Major General Ahmed al-Mismari, said that the air force targeted facilities to store air defense equipment in Misrata.

He explained on Friday that the air force for the General Command carried out air strikes on a camp and facilities in the city of Misrata, " that were used by militias and armed terrorist groups, to store Ottoman Turkish air defense equipment and weapons."

He pointed out that the raids resulted in "huge explosions, resulting in the destruction of rockets and ammunition that were stored in these facilities."

Alwasat was not able to verify this information from independent sources.
