Mooch - ‘I Have My Suspicions When a Bunch of White Folks Fawn Over a Black Man'
[Breitbart] In a sit-down interview with Robin Roberts of ABC’s "Good Morning America," former first lady Michelle Obama shared her story about the first time she met her future husband, Barack Obama.
Mooch and Desmond Tutu aka the 'Red Arch' yuk it up.
Obama revealed she was found Barack attractive, but she had her "suspicions" because a bunch of white people were fawning over him.

"I have my suspicions when a bunch of white folks fawn over a black man," Obama stated. "Because I sort of think, OK, he can talk straight so they think he is wonderful. So ‐ so that was my theory, and then his name was Barack Obama. He was from Hawaii. I thought, what? You know, so I didn’t really know what to expect. And then in walks Barack Obama, and Barack Obama has always walked like Barack Obama, like, he’s got all the time in the world. He had that stride. I was, like, dude, you’re cute, but in my mind, I was, like ‐"

Roberts interrupted, "Not interested?"

"Off limits," Obama continued. "Not even not interested. I’m not going to date one of the few black summer associates, Robin, how tacky."

#3  Sounds like she is racist against blacks and whites equally.

Perhaps she should be looking into why a well spoken black man garners such attention, perhaps it says something about the black community as well as about the white community.

Democrats find ‘thousands of new votes' in Georgia, claim they're ‘closing the gap' for governor
[The Blaze] In the Georgia gubernatorial race, Republican Secretary of State Brian Kemp is facing Democrat Stacey Abrams, and has held the lead in vote totals so far. But on Twitter on Saturday, Georgia’s Democratic Party announced they had discovered "thousands of new *absentee*, *early*, and *Election Day* votes," which had not been counted, and that are narrowing the gap.

The latest official count has Kemp ahead by over a percentage point. Republicans have maintained that there were not enough ballots left to be counted for Abrams to overtake. Democrats have argued that Kemp as Secretary of State has tainted the election results, to little challenge from the media, and are saying that Republicans are lying about the number of votes left to be counted.

It's official: Army approves ‘pinks and greens' uniform on Veterans Day
[Army Times] The Army was able to straighten out its congressionally mandated notification requirements in time to announce on Sunday, Veterans Day, that the much anticipated "Army Greens" will indeed be your next service uniform.

Formerly known as the "pinks and greens," the World War II-era officers uniform could go Army-wide as soon as 2020, according to a release that was posted Sunday to the Army’s website but was not shared through any of its social media channels.

"The current Army Blues Uniform will return to being a formal dress uniform, while the Army Greens will become the everyday business-wear uniform for all soldiers," the release said.

The new uniform will be "cost-neutral," according to the Army, though details of the budgeting plan were not immediately available.

Sergeant Major of the Army Dan Dailey told Army Times in September that while higher quality materials translated to a dollar-for-dollar more expensive uniform, the fielding plan would negate some of those extra costs in the aggregate.

It's Not Quite Kristallnacht, but It's Not The Fourth of July Either
[AmericanThinker] Just days before the eightieth anniversary of Kristallnacht, when Nazis burned synagogues, looted Jewish homes and shops, and rounded up Jewish families for concentration camps, Tucker Carlson’s home was surrounded by Antifa thugs who pounded on his door (cracking it), terrifying his wife, uttered threats against him and his family and painted an anarchist symbol on his driveway while the DC police did nothing to these modern-day brownshirts.

...In several places in Arizona, Georgia, and Florida -- most obviously in Broward and Palm Beach -- Florida, election workers are racing to undo the results of a free election, undermining the very basis of our political system. And they are thumbing their noses at judicial efforts to halt the theft.

White director who won minority theater grant defends decision to identify as black
[Wash Times] A white theater director defended Saturday his decision to identify as black, a case that has sparked an identity-politics debate in Great Britain after he received a publicly funded grant intended for minority artists.

Anthony Ekundayo Lennon, a director for the black-led Talawa Theatre Company in London, said he had "no doubt that I have some African ancestry" after coming under fire for winning an Arts Council England award meant for "theatre practitioners of colour."

"I will not allow anyone who can’t accept or understand my life to be relevant to my existence," said Mr. Lennon in an op-ed for the [U.K.] Guardian.

His critics, including some British theater figures, accused him of misappropriating a racial identity and hijacking public funds meant to support minority thespians after the [U.K.] Sunday Times broke the story Sunday.

Actress Kelechi Okafor tweeted Saturday that, "However ’black’ you might ’feel’ it is unethical and immoral to access funding that is specifically meant for actual black people," adding that "I’m shocked that people are actually entertaining this nonsense."

"The leap to claiming blackness for himself is almost breathtaking," said Paula Akban, an advocate for black women, in a Monday [U.K.] Independent column. "Not only has Lennon chosen to wear black identity like a costume, he has actively chosen to take up space and pilfer resources that were never meant for him."

Mr. Lennon, 53, who changed his middle name from David, said that he began identifying as "mixed heritage" as a boy after being frequently mistaken for black.

He said he had to use an Afro comb growing up because "my mum couldn’t manage my hair." One of his brothers has similar physical traits, he said, and neighbors would "arrive on the doorstep to gawp at us."

Get Cynical, Get Angry, And Stay Free
[Townhall] At least Mayor Daley and the rest of the Chicago corruptocrats had the common decency to do their vote-thieving behind the doors of the local mortuaries. Today, in Florida and elsewhere, the Democrats are doing it right in front of our faces. In fact, they’re rubbing it in our faces.

Understand the truth.

Accept the truth.

Get woke.

The only thing they care about is their own power, they absolutely intend to steal every election they can, and everything they say is a lie.

When is the last time one of these "The Republican won oh wait looky here it’s a whole bunch of new votes that Lou found in the basement" scenarios ever turned out with a Republican gaining votes? Defying the laws of probability and common sense, never. If it wasn’t a fraud, once in a while the Republican would win. But he never, ever does. Hmmmm.

...They are not even trying to pretend this isn’t a giant plot to steal elections ‐ they’re just defaulting to "Well, you’re racist for wanting fair elections." The law says you have to announce the total number of votes you received shortly after the polls close? Rule of law, schmool of law, who cares what some judge says? That law makes it hard for new votes to be "found," so it’s racist somehow.

...Fighting is hard, which is why the GOP softies don’t like it. Yeah, the Dems will get covered for by the lying garbage pail kidz of the media. They already lie about us, so what else is new? Yeah, the Fredocons will howl. Let those betas cry. Yeah, the left will call us "racists," but they are going to do that anyway. When we fight, we can win. It’s time to stop letting our freedom be stolen by these lib fascist creeps. It’s time to get militant.

What can America learn from Israel on mass killings?
[Washington Examiner] The senseless attack on defenseless youth at a bar in Thousand Oaks, Calif., has shocked the nation, and everyone is grasping for solutions.

In Israel, where the threat to our youth is mainly from Islamic terrorists, rather than from random crime and sick individuals, we have commonsense solutions to the problem of shooting attacks in bars, schools, and other public places, and those principles can be applied in America. The basic idea is to keep the guns in the hands of the good, stable, well-trained people, and only of those who need them to protect themselves or others.

For starters, not everyone can get a gun license in Israel. And there are stringent background checks that can sometimes take weeks or months to investigate and process. Secondly, every school and most public buildings, restaurants, and bars have at least one trained armed guard and sometimes several.

In addition, virtually every public space has armed citizens, all licensed after extensive background checks, with many being very well-trained in their capacity as members of local emergency response teams. Furthermore, many schools and other public places also have security cameras.

Last, but not least, remember that violent attacks really do not occur randomly. Just as terrorism happens for a reason, however sick and unjustified, so too with senseless violence, which usually occurs when there is a vacuum of values.

When there is an absence of solid family and spiritual structure in the home and in schools to provide those values, the ensuing loneliness, chaos, and anger are often given safe passage, ultimately leading to such horrible, violent attacks.

I was amazed that nobody lost their jobs after the Parkland High shooting because there were so many obvious failures. That church shooting in Texas where the Air Force failed to enter a known felon into the federal database for background checks is another example. Did anybody lose their job for that? I never heard about it if they did.

POTUS reportedly wants to stop giving Puerto Rico hurricane relief funds because he thinks the government is using it to pay off its debt
[Business Insider] President Donald Trump wants stop giving Puerto Rico federal funding for Hurricane Maria recovery, according to a report from Axios.

According to the report, White House officials told congressional leadership that Trump claimed without evidence that Puerto Rico's government is using the disaster relief money to pay off debt.

Trump can't take disaster funds back that he's already given to Puerto Rico or set aside by Congress, but he reportedly could refuse to sign any future spending bills, according to Axios.

The report comes after a Wall Street Journal article said Puerto Rico bond prices had soared "after the federal oversight board that runs the US territory's finances released a revised fiscal plan that raises expectations for disaster funding and economic growth."

2018 Proved (Again) That Obama Is Electoral Kryptonite In Battleground States
[The Federalist] Former President Barack Obama went on a campaign blitz for Democrats in the weeks leading up to the midterm election, but has little to show for his efforts. Candidates in four of the six battleground states he visited lost big races, and those who succeeded in the other two led comfortably in the polls before he showed up, with the exception of one gubernatorial race.

The press touted his campaign push, which began in his home state of Illinois and continued into the battlegrounds of Ohio, Florida, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Georgia, as well as some relatively safe blue states, including California, Pennsylvania, and New York.

The high-profile effort was atypical for a former president, and some Democratic candidates and operatives expressed concern ahead of the election that his presence in battleground states would merely rile up the Republican base and Trump supporters, or make the race about national politics to the disadvantage of the Democratic candidates in some races. Nevertheless, his spokeswoman promised an "aggressive" effort to turn out the Democrat vote in Senate, House, and gubernatorial races. Now that the votes are (mostly) counted, it seems the naysayers were right.

German NGO Rescinds Award To U.S. Women's March Due To Antisemitism Charge
Not everyone accepts the new fashion of Joo-hatred. Bless these German graduate students and those who listened to them.
[Jpost] Social democrats accused US Paleostinian activist Linda Sarsour of antisemitism.

The think tank for the German social democratic party withdrew its Human Rights Award to the Women’s March USA in Washington, DC, on Thursday because doctoral students associated with the foundation accused the organizers of the march of hardcore antisemitism and support of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign targeting the Jewish state.

"We believe that the Women’s March USA does not meet the criteria of this award, as its organizers have repeatedly attracted attention through antisemitic statements, the trivialization of antisemitism and the exclusion of Zionists and Jews since Women’s March USA’s establishment in 2017. Women’s March USA does not constitute an inclusive alliance," wrote members of the scholarship working group, called Critique of Anti-Semitism and Jewish Studies, from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in a public letter.

Afghanistan
Three Taliban militants blown up by own IED in Zabul province
Whoops!
[KhaamaPress] At least three Talibs were killed in an kaboom triggered by own Improvised Explosive Device in southern Zabul province of Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said the incident took place on Saturday in Jaldak district of the province.

The statement further added that three Talibs were busy planting an improvised bomb on a roadside when the incident took place, leaving three of them dead.

The anti-government armed murderous Moslem groups including Talibs have not commented regarding the incident so far.

The Talibs and other holy warriors including ISIS often use improvised bomb as the weapon of their choice to target the security forces and government officials.

However,
a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all...
in majority of such attacks the ordinary civilians are killed while in some cases the Talibs are themselves blown up in premature kabooms.

Anti-government elements must immediately end the indiscriminate and disproportionate use of all improvised bombs (IEDs) in areas frequented by civilians, said UNAMA in a special human rights

report released few weeks earlier.

The special report ‐ titled "Increasing Harm to Afghan Civilians form the Deliberate and Indiscriminate Use of Improvised Explosive Devices" ‐ documents a sharp increase from 1 January ‐ 30 September 2018 in the killing and maiming of Afghan civilians by IEDs, which have caused almost half of the civilian casualties from conflict-related violence.

Scoop: Democrats to probe Trump for targeting CNN, Washington Post
[Axios] House Democrats plan to investigate whether President Trump abused White House power by targeting ‐ and trying to punish with "instruments of state power" ‐ the Washington Post and CNN, incoming House intelligence committee chairman Adam Schiff said in an interview for "Axios on HBO."

Why it matters: Until now, all Trump critics could do is complain about his escalating attacks on the media.
... because the Democrats were the minority party, and because the anti-Trump Republicans respected some level of party solidarity to the man who had enough allies in Congress to sustain his veto of silly ideas...
With subpoena power and public hearings, the incoming House Democratic majority can demand emails and testimony to see if Trump used "the instruments of state power to punish the press," Schiff said.

"It is very squarely within our responsibility to find out," he said in the interview, which will air Sunday evening on HBO.

Schiff brought up two avenues of inquiry with press-freedom themes, aimed at investigating possible administration actions targeting two of the nation's highest profile corporations.

1) Schiff said Trump "was secretly meeting with the postmaster [general] in an effort to browbeat the postmaster [general] into raising postal rates on Amazon."
  • "This appears to be an effort by the president to use the instruments of state power to punish Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post," Schiff said. Jeff Bezos is founder, chairman and CEO of Amazon, and he owns the Washington Post.

2) Schiff said Congress also needs to examine whether Trump attempted to block AT&T’s merger with Time Warner as payback to CNN.
  • "We don't know, for example, whether the effort to hold up the merger of the parent of CNN was a concern over antitrust or whether this was an effort merely to punish CNN," Schiff said.

Between the lines: Schiff’s warning comes amid the tensest showdowns between the presidency and the press in our lifetimes.
That certainly is the view of those who have forgotten, among others, the press’s problems with President Nixon. To be fair. this is not within living memory of the young, ignorant members of the press so beloved for their ignorant gullibility by the previous president’s staff.
Trump, who calls much of the media "the enemy of the people" and "fake news," this week took the extraordinary steps of revoking the press credentials of a CNN correspondent and berating another CNN correspondent for asking "stupid" questions.
Who now remembers that President Obama’s people intended to drive Fox News out of business?
Trump says other reporters might be banned from the White House, too.
...not at all the same as blocking their employers from sending other, more acceptable reporters, but that sensible approach is not to be mentioned in the midst of this manufactured hysteria...
Be smart: Some senior White House officials were uncomfortable with Trump’s fixation on his inaccurate belief Amazon was ripping off the U.S. Postal Service.
What they are doing is legal, certainly. But the arrangement is certainly open to renegotiation, one of President Trump’s favourite activities, especially for those hostile to his goals.
Several former senior officials tried to explain to Trump that the Postal Service's billion-dollar losses had nothing to do with Amazon. But Trump simply wouldn't accept their arguments, according to two sources with direct knowledge.
Q.E.D.
Trump, in private, often vents about Bezos and the Washington Post.
Deservedly so.
In an interview with "Axios on HBO" last week, Trump said he’s considering antitrust action against Amazon, but made plain he might not pursue it.
“Make it worth my while not to pursue you, guys.”
Go deeper:
  • Trump White House braces for a caravan of subpoenas

  • "Trump personally pushed postmaster general to double rates on Amazon, other firms"

  • "Judge rules that AT&T can buy Time Warner"

Kyrsten Sinema picks up 4,000 votes in Arizona Senate race
Unexpectedly.
[WASHINGTONTIMES] Democrat Kyrsten Sinema is continuing to inch ahead in the slow-motion finish to Arizona’s U.S. Senate race.

On Saturday night, she remained a little more than a percentage point ahead of Republican Martha McSally. She gained 4,000 votes from a batch of ballots tallied in Maricopa County as well as a few thousand from elsewhere in the state.

It may take until Thursday to count all the votes. Arizona typically takes more than a week to tally its mail ballots. McSally is hoping for a late shift toward her in the remaining ballots. There are more than 250,000 outstanding. About 2.4 million votes were cast in the election.

European police smash ring smuggling Palestinians with ‘bogus asylum claims’
[IsraelTimes] Officers arrest 9 people in Spain and La Belle France accused of charging $9,000 per person to provide Paleostinians with faked versions of travel documents issued to refugees in Leb

Police in Spain and La Belle France have smashed a criminal ring suspected of smuggling hundreds of Paleostinians into Europe
...also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
through fraudulent asylum claims, Spanish police said Sunday.

Officers tossed in the clink
Please don't kill me!
nine people, including the suspected leader of the network, in the two countries as part of the operation carried out with European police agency Europol, a Spanish police statement said.

Police suspect that since January 2018 the group flew around 1,200 Paleostinians living in Middle Eastern countries via Bolivia to Madrid, where they would then make a "fraudulent asylum request."

"Instead of continuing with the administrative procedures related to their asylum request, they were transported by the organization to Belgium and Germany in minivans," the statement said.

The ring charged around 8,000 euros ($9,000) per person to provide them with fake travel documents and organize the trip, earning at least 9 million euros ($10.2 million) with the scheme.

Five people were arrested in Spain and four in La Belle France. Police said the group’s "main base of operations" was in the northern French city of Amiens.

Spanish police started their investigation after detecting an increase in the number of Paleostinians requesting asylum at Madrid airport.

Afghanistan
At least 16 killed in Taliban attack on army base in Baghlan
[Al Jazeera] At least 12 army soldiers were killed in a Taliban
...Arabic for students...
attack on Saturday on a small military base in Afghanistan's northern Baghlan province, officials said.

The Taliban left behind explosives that then killed four tribal elders who had come to help collect the soldiers' bodies, according to Afghan officials.

Safder Mohsini, head of the provincial council in Baghlan, said the group also kidnapped two soldiers and maimed three others in the attack.

He said Taliban fighters burned down the base before planting bombs around it.

The Taliban grabbed credit for the assault and said they seized ammunition from the base.

The group carries out near-daily attacks, mainly targeting Afghan cops stationed in rural outposts.

Taliban fighters have ramped up attacks on Afghan cops and government facilities in recent months, leaving troops thinly stretched throughout the country.

The latest phase of Afghanistan's decades-old war began in 2001, when the US-led troops overthrew the Taliban government in the wake of the September 11 attacks on the United States.

A US watchdog agency said last week that the Afghan government was struggling to recover control of districts lost to the Taliban while casualties among security forces had reached record levels.

Fired: Broward County Employee Gives Affidavit, Blank Ballots Being Filled Out
[ConservativeDailyPress] Brenda Snipes, the official in charge of Broward County elections, has repeatedly shown herself as an unscrupulous and possibly criminal liberal.

According to former Florida Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottkamp, the election staff was seen filling out blank ballots.

After the ballots were supposed to be turned over by Snipes per a court order, an employee filed an affidavit after being fired for reporting the behavior.

"Affidavit filed by Broward Election’s employee in support of Caldwell lawsuit provides eye witness account of Elections staff filling in blank ballots. When this was reported the employee was fired and told not to come back. #sayfie," tweeted Kottkamp.

Matt Caldwell has joined Gov. Rick Scott in filing a lawsuit Friday against the Broward County Supervisor of Elections.

"The campaign of the Republican candidate for agricultural commissioner sent a news release Friday afternoon announcing that his attorneys filed a lawsuit in the 17th judicial circuit ’asking the court to protect the integrity of all ballots and all public records relating to the election for Commissioner of Agriculture.’"

Hillary Clinton will run for president again in 2020, former adviser says
Assuming she lives that long, and wins the Democratic primary, she’ll again be running against Donald Trump — who this time will have four years of accomplishments to display. Still, if the Democrats feel they need to keep losing the White House, who are we to interfere?
[WashingtonExaminer] Hillary Clinton will run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, according to a former adviser and a top Democrat in New York.

Mark Penn, a pollster and senior adviser to former President Bill Clinton and ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from 1995-2008, and Andrew Stein, a former Manhattan Democratic party figure and New York City Council president, wrote Sunday in a Wall Street Journal opinion piece that the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee would not let "two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House."

"Mrs. Clinton has come unbound. She will not allow this humiliating loss at the hands of an amateur to end the story of her career," Penn and Stein wrote of President Trump, explaining how Clinton would re-package herself as a more liberal "Hillary Clinton 4.0." "You can expect her to run for president once again. Maybe not at first, when the legions of Senate Democrats make their announcements, but definitely by the time the primaries are in full swing."

6.5M people with active Social Security numbers are 112 or older: IG
What odds that all of them are alive, or contrariwise that none of the identities are being used unofficially by others?
[WASHINGTONTIMES] Roughly 6.5 million people with active Social Security numbers are age 112 and older, according to an audit by the Social Security Administration’s inspector general.

The March 4 audit concluded that the administration "did not have controls in place to annotate death information" on the the main electronic file, called Numident, for Social Security numberholders who exceeded maximum reasonable life expectancies and were likely deceased.

"We obtained Numident data that identified approximately 6.5 million numberholders born before June 16, 1901 who did not have a date of death on their record," the report states.

The inspector general said the questionable identification numbers put the government at risk of fraud and waste. Some of the numbers assigned to long-dead people were used fraudulently to open bank accounts, and thousands of numbers were apparently used by illegal immigrants colonists to apply for work, CNS News reported.

"During Calendar Years 2008 through 2011, SSA received 4,024 E-Verify inquiries using the SSNs of 3,873 numberholders born before June 16, 1901," the report said. "These inquiries indicate individuals’ attempts to use the SSNs to apply for work."

Also unexpectedly.
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] There may be hope yet for Stacey Abrams, the Democratic candidate for governor.

The Democratic Party of Georgia tweeted Saturday evening that a "handful" of Georgia counties reported thousands of "new" absentee, early, and Election Day votes not accounted for by Republican candidate Brian Kemp.

Kemp, who resigned as secretary of state on Thursday, has asserted victory even though the race has not been called and Abrams has yet to concede.

The latest vote tally on the Georgia secretary of state's website shows Kemp leading by more than a percentage point. Kemp had 1,975,806 votes to Abrams' 1,916,931 -- a margin of 58,875 votes -- leading 50.28 percent to Abrams' 48.78 percent. The Libertarian candidate, Ted Metz, had a mere 37,149 votes and 0.95 percent of the vote.

Earlier in the day, Kemp's campaign argued that it was "mathematically impossible" for Abrams to pull ahead or get close enough to trigger a recount, even with the remaining uncounted provisional and military ballots.

Netanyahu said to warn crisis with Russia over downed plane worse than thought
[IsraelTimes] Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the security cabinet that the crisis in ties with Russia following the downing of a Russian jet by Syrian anti-aircraft missiles during an Israeli strike is worse than initially believed, Hadashot TV news reports.

"The crisis with Putin is far worse than we thought," the network quotes Netanyahu saying following his trip to Bulgaria last week.

Russia has blamed Israel for the downing of the plane, a charge denied by Jerusalem, and, in recent weeks, has ramped up its criticism of Israeli Arclight airstrikes in Syria.

"Putin sees the downing of the plane as a personal affront to his prestige and this is an important component in his perception of power," Netanyahu reportedly said.

"Therefore, this is a strategic blow that made the crisis worse," he is said to have added.

Three Policemen Killed In Taliban Attack In Badakhshan
[ToloNews] Three coppers were killed In a clash between security forces and the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
in Faizabad city, the capital of Badakhshan province, on Friday night, local officials said Saturday.

According to officials the clash occurred in PD 6 of the city when a group of Taliban members attacked a security check post in the city.

Four other police soldiers were maimed in the clash, which lasted several hours. Officials said the Taliban then fled the area.

"Unfortunately, last night at about 10pm Taliban attacked and as a result three of our soldiers were killed and four others were maimed and one Talib was also killed," said Mohammad Tariq Ziapor Badakhshan’s police security chief.

Eyewitnesses said that Taliban attacked the check post through Spingul village.

"Taliban come down from the valley and ambushed a police Ranger and after the shooting fled back through the valley," said Zia an eyewitness.

"This is the weakness of the local officials who cannot take responsibility for the security of Faizabad; they must be held responsible and arrest the attackers," said Jawed Majidi Badakhshan provincial council member.

Local residents also raised their concerns over Taliban activity in Faizabad city.

"We do not sleep at night, every night there is an attack and shooting. If the Taliban can attack Faizabad city then soon they can take control of the districts," said Hanan a resident.

The attack came in the absence of top leadership in the province. The governor has reportedly been in Takhar for days, while the deputy governor is in China. The province has no police chief after the most recent one was dismissed.

Taliban confirms the attack on Faizabad.

Reports suggest Iran executes 22 people in Ahwaz
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Unconfirmed reports have suggested that Iran has allegedly executed more than 22 people, accusing them of being behind the ISIS-claimed attack on a military parade in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahwaz last October.

The sources said the authorities of the Revolutionary Court had informed some of the families of those allegedly executed on Thursday.

A relative of the victims said the Revolutionary Court summoned some of the families of those who were reportedly executed and handed them death warrants, without any information about the corpses, and warned them not to hold funerals or risk prosecution.

In the wake of the attack on the military parade, the Iranian security tossed in the clink

hundreds of Ahwazi activists, including civil society activists who do not belong to any krazed killer groups.

Human rights activists say the Iranian authorities used the attack as an opportunity to attack civil society activists and intellectuals interested in the national rights of Arabs in southern Iran.

US, Israel, Saudi, UAE plotting against Iran: Analyst
[PRESSTV] The upcoming trip of the US government's highest official on Iran matters to Israel and the United Arab Emirates shows Washington and its regional allies are plotting against Tehran, an American analyst says

The US State Department said Friday that the US State Department’s Special Representative for Iran Brian Hook was going to meet with Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi officials between November 12 and 20 to discuss cooperation on countering what it called "Iranian threats."

It also said that the "US is committed" to working with its "allies and partners to fully implement" what it referred to as Washington's "maximum pressure campaign" against Iran.

Speaking to Press TV on Sunday, former US Senate candidate Mark Dankof said the trip showed how a shared desire to curb Iran’s influence had prompted Washington and its regional allies together to form a "nefarious" alliance.

"[President Donald] Trump campaigned on an America-first foreign policy and yet it’s the same old Zionist game plan and the same old Zionist playbook he is resorting to," Dankof said.

Noting that Hook has been involved with Washington companies that are linked to "usual suspects" who promote globalist policies, the analyst said the trip was basically an attempt to put more pressure on Iran under a plot that also involves Israel and Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...

China-Japan-Koreas
North and South Korea begin destroying border guard posts
[AlAhram] The two Koreas began destroying 20 guard posts along their heavily-fortified frontier Sunday under a plan to reduce tensions on the border.

Under an agreement made between their generals in late October, North and South Korea agreed to each remove 10 posts and preserve one on either side of the frontier.

The militaries on Sunday began destroying the 20 border guard posts in the Demilitarized Zone dividing the two Koreas after withdrawing troops and equipment from them, Yonhap news agency reported, citing Seoul's defence ministry.

South Korea has around 60 such posts along the rest of the border while the North has about 160, Yonhap said.

The border truce village of Panmunjom -- or the Joint Security Area (JSA) -- is the only spot along the tense, 250-kilometre (155-mile) frontier where soldiers from the two Koreas and the US-led UN Command stand face to face.

But as part of the latest reconciliatory gesture, the two Koreas last month removed all firearms and guard posts from the area, leaving it manned by 35 unarmed personnel from each side.

The moves come as a diplomatic thaw between the former wartime foes gathers pace.

Under doveish South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Seoul has pursued a policy of engagement with its isolated, nuclear-armed neighbour, in contrast with the US which insists pressure should be maintained on Pyongyang until it denuclearises.

Moon and North Korean leader Kim Pudge Jong-un
...the overweight, pouty-looking hereditary potentate of North Korea. Pudge appears to believe in his own divinity, but has yet to produce any loaves and fishes, so his subjects remain malnourished...
agreed on a broad plan to ease tensions along the border during their third summit in Pyongyang in September.

The two nations technically remain at war after the 1950-53 Korean War that sealed the division of the peninsula and ended with a ceasefire instead of a peace treaty.

But ties improved markedly this year as Moon and Kim took a series of reconciliatory gestures.

Kim and US President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
also held a historic summit in June in Singapore and signed a vaguely worded deal on denuclearisation, but little progress has been made since then, with the two countries sparring over the exact meaning of the agreement.

Planned talks between US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and one of Kim's right-hand men, Kim Yong Chol, were also delayed this week.

Gabon leader Ali Bongo greatly improved: presidency
Yay.
[Al Jazeera] The health of Gabon's President Ali Bongo has "greatly improved" after the 59-year-old was hospitalised as a result of discomfort and "persistent vertigo", according to the presidency.

The leader, who was admitted to a hospital in Soddy Arabia

late last month, is "in a phase of recovering all his functions", spokesperson Ike Ngouni said in an official statement on Sunday.

Bongo was in the kingdom's capital, Riyadh, to attend an investment summit and speak alongside other leaders but was not seen during the discussion.

Ngouni said the president was transferred to King Faisal hospital and "has received all the needed support", adding that "he is in the process of "recovering most of his functions".

"Ali Bongo ... continues to carry out his duties. The institutions of our Republic, therefore, function today perfectly in the strict respect of the constitution," the statement said.

Lack of official news, along with memories of the secrecy that surrounded the death of the president's father, Omar Bongo, in office in 2009 has led to increased speculation about his health.

Country Club Bars Man After Calling Tucker Carlson’s Daughter a ‘C*nt,’ ‘Whore’
Good. Being a self-described gay, Latino immigrant who acquired American citizenship less than two months ago is no excuse for such behaviour, no matter what Progressives might think feel proclaim.
[BREITBART] A Virginia country club revoked the membership of a man accused of verbally accosting Tucker Carlson’s teenage daughter last month, according to the Fox News Channel host. Conversely, the man referred to as Juan
...more formally known as Juan Manuel Granados...
alleges Carlson assaulted him and is purportedly being represented by television lawyer Michael Avenatti.
...who really doesn’t have time for this nonsense, as he has to prepare his defense in the Justice Department criminal investigation for lying to Congress during Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing...
Carlson provided a lengthy statement to The Hill’s Joe Concha Saturday, detailing the eyebrow-raising incident that reportedly involved the unnamed man, Carlson, and two of his children.

"On October 13, I had dinner with two of my children and some family friends at the Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia," Carlson’s statement begins. "Toward the end of the meal, my 19-year-old daughter went to the bathroom with a friend. On their way back through the bar, a middle aged man stopped my daughter and asked if she was sitting with Tucker Carlson. My daughter had never seen the man before. She answered: ’That’s my dad,’ and pointed to me. The man responded, ’Are you Tucker’s whore?’ He then called her a ’f*** c***.’ "

"My daughter returned to the table in tears. She soon left the table and the club. My son, who is also a student, went into the bar to confront the man. I followed," Carlson continued. "My son asked the man if he’d called his sister a ’whore’ and a ’c**t.’ The man admitted he had, and again become profane. My son threw a glass of red wine in the man’s face and told him to leave the bar, which he soon did."

Carlson said he notified the staff at Farmington Country Club immediately following the incident, prompting a three-week investigation by the management. Juan’s club membership was annulled last week, the prime-time newsman told Concha. "I love my children. It took enormous self-control not to beat the man with a chair, which is what I wanted to do," added Carlson. I think any father can understand the overwhelming rage and shock that I felt seeing my teenage daughter attacked by a stranger."

Carlson’s statement came after Avenatti announced on Twitter Saturday afternoon that he is "investigating" an alleged assault on a "gay latino immigrant" by Carlson and "members of his inner circle." The 2020 Democratic hopeful shared video from his personal YouTube channel of what appears to be Carlson telling someone to "get the fuck out of here." Seconds later, a brief scuffle occurs, followed by an unnamed man with a British accents calling on all parties not to resort to a physical altercation. Breitbart News cannot authentic where or when the footage was taken.

Polish officials march with nationalists on Independence Day
[Al Jazeera] About 200,000 Poles participated in a march by representatives from the Polish government of President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and far-right groups on Sunday to celebrate the centenary of the restoration of Poland's independence.

Joachim Brudzinski, minister of internal affairs, tweeted the attendance figure, a far higher number than last year's 60,000 people.

The procession marks the first time Polish officials took part in the "Independence March" - an event that tends to feature racist, anti-immigrant, homophobic and white supremacist slogans.

Organised annually since 2010 by the far-right National Radical Camp, All-Polish Youth and the National Movement, chants at previous events have included: "The whole Poland sings with us: F*** off with the refugees", "Not red, not rainbow but national Poland", "One nation across the borders", and "F*** Antifa".

Most participants at this year's event were peaceful, raising the Polish flag and chanting patriotic slogans.

Election Supervisor Brenda Snipes may not be Florida's only problem
A reminder from 2016.
[Tampa Bay Times] Prominent terror cases with ties to Florida

Sept. 11, 2001: A South Florida man known as Adnan El Shukrijumah
...known formally as Adnan Gulshair Muhammad El Shukrijumah —alias Abu Arif, alias Jafar Al-Tayar, alias Javier Robles. He was a Saudi computer engineer whose Wahhabi missionary father moved the family to Guyana when he was very young. He was a very bad man indeed, until he was (or perhaps was not) killed in Pakistan in 2014...
was wanted by the FBI as a suspected al-Qaida combatant due to his possible connection with the Sept. 11 hijackers. He also was under indictment for planning a suicide bomb attack in 2009 in the New York City subway system. Family members said El Shukrijumah went to Trinidad in 2001, but formerly studied computer engineering at Broward Community College. He sometimes prayed at Al-Iman mosque in Fort Lauderdale and Darul Uloom in Pembroke Pines.
...the latter being a madrassah notorious for the number of jihadis connected to it including “Dirty Bomber” Jose Padilla. Head cleric Maulana Shafayat Mohamed nonetheless poses as moderate...
He was reported killed during a raid in northwest Pakistan on Dec. 6, 2014.

Sept. 11, 2001: Suicide hijackers Mohamed Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi trained at a flight school in Venice, and their accomplice Ziad Jarrah took lessons a block away from the school. Atta and al-Shehhi were responsible for the jets that flew into the World Trade Center, and Jarrah controlled the plane that crashed in rural Pennsylvania. Reports say that at least 14 out of the 19 terrorists responsible for Sept. 11 spent time in South Florida, with at least 12 of them in Palm Beach County.

Sept. 11, 2001: A Saudi family that left their Sarasota home weeks before Sept. 11 had ties to those associated with the terrorist attacks, according to FBI reports. Three of the family members were tied to the Venice flight school where two suicide hijackers from Sept. 11 were trained. The names of the three individuals were blanked out from official documents, but the home in Sarasota was that of Abdulaziz al-Hijji.

Feb. 20, 2003: Former University of South Florida professor Sami Al-Arian was indicted, alleged to be a leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and complicit in the murder of civilians. He was arrested in his Tampa home. Years later, Al-Arian ended up taking a plea deal on greatly reduced charges. He was deported to Turkey on Feb. 5, 2015.

Nov. 22, 2005: Former South Florida resident Jose Padilla was indicted on charges of conspiring to commit terrorist acts. He lived in Fort Lauderdale for an unspecified time where he prayed at Al-Iman mosque. He was transferred to Miami's federal detention facility after the indictment. Before the indictment, Padilla was held as an "enemy combatant" in U.S. Defense Department custody. He was previously arrested in 2002 for allegedly attempting to detonate a "dirty bomb" in the United States.
And on and on it goes.

Iraq
ISIS resurgence? Coalition confirms 55 ISIS members killed in 2 days in Iraq
[Rudaw] The US-led Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS released a pair of statements detailing recent air strikes in northern Iraq have killed at least 55 ISIS members in a two-day span, many in the disputed areas.

On October 30, Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) and counter-terrorism units (ICTS) with coalition support conducted multiple strikes in Saladin province, killing "five senior ISIS leaders and more than 30 other Death Eaters."

"Their followers helped coordinate vehicle-borne improvised bomb attacks in Sharqat and Qayarrah that injured civilians, in addition to numerous attacks targeting ISF, Iraqi civilians and infrastructure within Salah ah Din and Kirkuk provinces," read a coalition statement released on Sunday.

The coalition did not comment on a boom-mobile that went kaboom! in western djinn-infested Mosul
... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn...
on Thursday, killing 2. It occurred near a restaurant known to be frequented by security forces.

On the next day, Iraqi Special Operations Forces (ISOF) and coalition forces killed approximately 20 fighters near Makhmour. The operation began with air strikes and was followed by a ground attack the Iraqis.

"This successful strike conducted by the ISF disrupts ISIS networks as they continue to maintain the pressure required to prevent their resurgence," said Maj. Gen. Patrick Roberson, Commander of Special Operations Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve in the second statement released on Sunday.

The release of the statements follows US Special Presidential Envoy Brett McGurk meeting separately with new Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi and President Barham Salih in Baghdad on Saturday. McGurk said the coalition will accelerate its campaign on the Syrian side of the border.

Also on Saturday, the Kurdistan Region's Peshmerga were placed on high alert as coalition warplanes killed at least 13 ISIS gunnies in disputed areas claimed by Erbil and Baghdad near Makhmour.

Iraq's Ministry of Defence has said their side of the border is secure with forces and defensive measures employed from the Euphrates river crossing in al-Qaim north to Mosul.

A security vacuum and forces not loyal to the Iraqi government, in part, led to the rise of ISIS in 2014 when the group threatened to overrun the country. Currently, Kurdish security officials say there is a gap between their forces and ISF, particularly in the disputed areas claimed by Erbil and Baghdad, but currently under the security portfolio of the federal government.

The Kurdistan Region Security Council (KRSC) the last two months has unpromising released security assessments that say ISIS attacks remain unabated.

"Tracked security incidents from October signals a reemergence of VBIED-based attacks in Kirkuk and Mosul. Targeted liquidations against mokhtars and attacks on electricity infrastructure continued unabated," read the KRSC statement published on November 4.

Brig. Gen. General Yahya Rasul, the spokesperson for Iraqi Joint Operations, had tweeted nearly daily reports of security incidents in October. Most were in Kirkuk,

Diyala, Saladin, Nineveh, Baghdad, and Anbar provinces.

Iraq is currently still filling lower posts in its new government. PM Abdul-Mahdi, as commander in chief of the country's armed forces, faces unifying Iraqi security institutions and reeling predominately Shiite militias and paramilitias which received arms and training from Iran during the ISIS conflict.

The Kurdistan Region's Peshmerga remain under the command of Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani until a new government is formed. There have been no significant ISIS attacks where there is a Peshmerga presence.

Former Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared ISIS defeated in Iraq in December 2017.

Dozens killed in Afghanistan fighting as sectarian threat grows
[AlAhram] Fifteen Afghan civilians and 10 commandos sent to reinforce Shia militia forces fighting Taliban
...Arabic for students...
in the central province of Ghazni were killed on Sunday, officials said, as a days-long battle with threatening ethnic overtones continued.

The fighting in Jaghori district, an area inhabited mainly by Shia ethnic Hazara
...a grouping of Dari-speaking people of Sino-Tibetan descent inhabiting Afghanistan and Pakistain. They are predominantly Shia Moslems and not particularly warlike, which makes them favored targets...
s, has been going on since Wednesday, when Taliban fighters attacked the district and the government sent special forces units to back up local militia forces.

Police front man Ahmad Khan Sirat said six members of the security forces were maimed in addition to the 25 civilians and commandos who were killed.

The fighting took place as US special envoy Zakmay Khalilzad prepared for a fresh round of meetings aimed at bringing the Taliban to the negotiating table to try to find a political settlement to the decades-long war in Afghanistan.

Although Afghanistan has traditionally not suffered from the sectarian violence that has scarred Iraq or Syria, suicide kabooms on Shia targets in recent years have caused deepening anger among Hazaras, a mainly Shia minority.

The Taliban, a movement dominated by Sunni Moslem ethnic Pashtuns, does not have any openly sectarian agenda and deny targeting Shia but many Hazaras have blamed Pashtuns for the attacks on mosques and cultural centres.

Angered by what many see as official indifference, Hazaras have formed militia groups of their own, fuelling concern among some officials and Western diplomats at the potential for an upsurge in ethnic, sectarian violence.

Disputes over the balance of representation between Hazaras and Pashtuns, the two largest groups in Ghazni, led to the postponement of last month's parliamentary election in the province.

On the other side of the country, in the northern province of Baghlan, at least 14 members of the Afghan cops and non-combatants were killed and eight others were maimed in Taliban attacks, provincial governor Abdulhai Nemati said.

A front man for the Taliban, Zabihullah Mujahid in statements said killed 36 Afghan cops and captured one military base five security checkpoints in Ghazni and Baghlan provinces.

Mother, son saved after drifting out to sea on inflatable swan
[AJC] BRADENTON, FLA. ‐ A Florida mother is warning other parents after she and her son drifted out to sea atop an inflatable swan.

The idyllic beach day started out postcard-perfect for Tara Myers and her son, Brennan Saletta.

Myers and her 7-year-old son spend a lot of time on the Gulf of Mexico and decided to get a large inflatable swan for their Oct. 21 trip to Anna Maria Island.

Minutes after launching it in what appeared to be calm waters, the current carried them a mile out to sea, The Islander reported.

"I was not sure if we were going to keep drifting because land just kept getting farther and farther and farther away," Myers told WFLA.

She tried to paddle back but could not overcome the waves. They were adrift for more than an hour, the Islander reported.

"I have never been more scared in my entire life," Myers said.

A West Manatee Fire Rescue boat came to their aid after people on the beach called 911.

"I literally just laid down on that swan float and cried so hard because this could have ended so much worse, and I didn't want (Brennan) to know that I was that scared," Myers told WFLA.

When they got back to shore, they used the jagged edge and sharp point from Brennan’s shark’s tooth necklace to destroy the swan before it was thrown away.

Clashes Reach Residential Streets in Yemen's Hodeida
[An Nahar] Fighting for control of Yemen's rebel-held city of Hodeida reached residential streets on Sunday, as the Huthi snuffies mounted fierce resistance to government forces backed by Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
, military sources said.

Troops entered residential streets in eastern Hodeida with the aim of "purging them of Lion of Islams," according to a pro-government military official.

Fears for civilian safety have been rising since the loyalist forces renewed an operation to take Hodeida, which has been under the control of Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis since 2014.

More than 400 combatants have been killed in 10 days of festivities in the city on Yemen's Red Sea coastline that is home to the impoverished country's most important port.

Hodeida is a vital lifeline for Yemenis across the war-torn country, as the majority of imports and humanitarian aid enter through its port.

The docks have been blockaded by the Saudi-led alliance since November 2017 over what the coalition says is arms smuggling from Iran to the Huthis. Tehran denies the charge.

Aid groups have urged warring parties to keep the port open.

"We cannot predict what will happen in the future, but at the moment there are no problems," Yahya Sharafeddine, deputy director of Hodeida port, told AFP.

Pro-government fighters moved into the neighborhood between the May 22 hospital -- the largest in Hodeida -- and Sanaa Road, which links the port city to inland Yemen.

Fighters clashed around the al-Waha (Oasis) Resort, closing in on a civilian district located south of the hospital and north of Sanaa Road.

Aasia Bibi case: JuD says it believes in legal recourse
[DAWN] The Jamaat-ud-Dawa
...the front organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba...
(JuD) has some reservations over the Aasia Bibi issue but it also has respect for the national institutions including the judiciary and that’s why it did not join the recent protest.

Explaining the low profile of the JuD in the otherwise violent protests by religiopolitical parties, party front man Ahmed Nadeem told Dawn that the party issued protest call for Friday last two days after the court decision was announced. But as the protests started going violent, the JuD decided to restrict itself to Friday sermons instead of coming on the roads.

"The day the decision was announced, the party consultative body was already in meeting. It discussed the decision threadbare and consulted senior lawyers on the issue. After the consultation, the party thought that it was legal mistake and can only be rectified through legal process. After all, the trial court sentenced her to death after a long trial. Later, the Lahore High Court upheld the sentence. Now the Supreme Court has set her free, giving her the benefit of the doubt.

"The JuD was of the opinion that the quantum of the benefit of the doubt (whether it was reasonable or not) can only be judged by lawyers and only they could plead it before court. So, instead of taking to the street, the party decided to wait for exhaustion of the legal process. That is precisely why the JuD chief was the first to demand a review petition. Others (Mufti Munib, Sirajul Haq
...current head of the Pak Jamaat-e-Islami. Siraj was born in 1962 and entered politics shortly after that...
et al) followed him the next day," says Mr Nadeem.

Substantiating his claim of non-violence being party philosophy, Mr Nadeem said the party kept its cool even when the government took over its charity organizations. It only challenged the decision in court. It did not go violent when its leader Hafiz Muhammad Saeed was jugged
Youse'll never take me alive coppers!... [BANG!]... Ow!... I quit!
in January this year and the party chief himself had directed his men to stay peaceful and concentrate on Kashmire Day. "It only goes to prove that the party respects the legal process and will wait for its exhaustion," he said and added: "It was very much part of a day-long (Friday) peaceful protest but went quiet when protests turned violent."

Afghan Taliban attacks intensify as US peace envoy returns
[AlAhram] The Taliban
...Arabic for students...
intensified attacks in a district heavily populated by minority Hazara
...a grouping of Dari-speaking people of Sino-Tibetan descent inhabiting Afghanistan and Pakistain. They are predominantly Shia Moslems and not particularly warlike, which makes them favored targets...
s Sunday, as US envoy Zalmay Khalilzad returned to the region as part of efforts to convince the group to end the 17-year war.

In pre-dawn fighting in Jaghori district in the southeastern province of Ghazni, turbans killed 15 civilians and 10 members of Afghanistan's elite special forces, provincial police front man Ahmad Khan Sirat told AFP.

Another six special forces and eight civilians were maimed, Sirat added.

The information could not be immediately verified by another source in the province where telecommunications are poor. A front man for the Afghan defence ministry in Kabul would not answer his phone.

Taliban front man Zabiullah Mujahid said in a WhatsApp message that 22 Afghan commandos had been killed and "a large number" maimed.

Fighting in the district has been ongoing since Wednesday, fanning fears that the violence could be rooted in ethnic or sectarian differences.

Kabul deployed special forces to the area on Thursday to reinforce local Hazara pro-government fighters, as the Taliban denied targeting "any specific race, ethnicity or sect".

Most Hazaras belong to the Shia branch of Islam. The Taliban, which are Sunni and largely ethnic Pashtuns, have been accused of committing human rights

violations against the group during their oppressive 1996-2001 rule.

The flare up in violence coincided with the return of Khalilzad to Afghanistan as he seeks to coordinate regional efforts to bring about peace in the war-torn country. Khalilzad met with President Ashraf Ghani
...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. , where the Taliban has a political office.

A Taliban delegation met with Khalilzad in Doha in October to discuss ending the Afghan conflict. That was followed by a Russia-led international gathering in Moscow on Friday that included Taliban representatives.

The Afghan government boycotted the meeting, but the country's High Peace Council, which is responsible for reconciliation efforts with the krazed killers, sent a delegation.

The flurry of diplomatic efforts to kickstart peace talks comes as the Taliban make gains on the battlefield and cause record-high casualties among security forces. A recent US government watchdog report said Kabul's control of Afghanistan had slipped in recent months as local forces made little or no progress against the Taliban.

In a grim assessment of the war, the US Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) cited NATO

Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
militia, Abdul-Salam Jaber, confirmed that he was happy to defect from the militia and join the Yemeni national forces.

"Our arrival in Riyadh opens wider doors to work to restore the legitimacy of Yemen, the homeland that suffered a catastrophe that exceeded the ability of Yemenis to tolerate the practice of the de facto authority in Sanaa," he said, referring to the Houthi militias which took control over Sanaa in 2014.

"We thank the leadership of government for what they have done to secure our travel from Sanaa to Aden and from Aden to Riyadh."

He added: "I want to clarify the current situation within the areas controlled by the Houthis.

"Since September 21, 2014, Yemen

He also praised the intervention of the Arab coalition.

He also revealed that he was among the team that conducted a "disinformation campaign" in Yemen. He explained that all the Houthi coupists are being supported by Iran and other countries.

"Yemenis will not accept foreign 'projects' that dominate their country."

"We were forced to work within the coup government. But the coupists are now in their last days," he added.

province.

The local officials confirmed that the suspects have been arrested by the security forces in Pashtun Zarghoon district.

Provincial Police Chief Gen. Aminullah Amar Khel confirmed the arrest of the individuals and said the detained suspects were also involved in the murder of two coppers.

He said the individuals had recently trained some residents of Herat and some other provinces including Ghor and Badghis for future terrorist attacks.

The anti-government armed Lion of Islam groups including Talibs have not commented in this regard so far.

Herat is among the relatively calm provinces in West of Afghanistan but the security situation in some remote districts of Herat has tanked during the recent years.

The Talibs are active in some remote districts of Herat and often attempt to carry out terrorist related activities.

Afghan Turk School Students And Teachers Arrested In Herat

According to officials from the school a number of NDS and police forces arrived at the school on Sunday morning and arrested students and teachers. They were taken to the local police HQ.

Security forces in Herat also confirmed the arrests. No details were given on exactly how many students or teachers were arrested.

In February Afghanistan’s Ministry of Education (MoE) formally handed over the management of Afghan-Turk schools to the Ottoman Turkish government, defying calls by parents and students to keep the schools under Afghan control.

Following a failed military coup in 2016, the Ottoman Turkish government formally asked Afghanistan to hand over control of these schools to the Ottoman Turkish government.

former officials from the Afghan-Turk schools have said the schools had nothing to do with politics and they only provide education to Afghan children.

According to some reports, the Ottoman Turkish government reportedly offered a number of incentives in exchange for taking control of these schools.

Coalition intensifying anti-ISIS operations in eastern Syria
[Rudaw] Following reports of heavy ground fighting between Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and ISIS in Hajin, the coalition is announcing it will speed up operations in Deir ez-Zor governorate.

McGurk met separately on Saturday in Baghdad with new Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi and President Barham Salih.

The announcement comes as the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Sunday that coalition bombardments have increased since October 28 following an ISIS counterattack that seized 20 US-made Hummers.

"La Belle France is supporting the Syrian Democratic Forces with close air support missions," tweeted the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve on Saturday.

The Observatory indicated that coalition warplanes were able to target the ISIS-seized Hummers using "modern techniques." It added that ISIS loses through Friday included at least 41 loyalists including women and kiddies.

"Yesterday, the Coalition successfully struck & destroyed an ISIS observation post and staging area in Hajin, void of civilians at the time and tracking with surveillance assets. ISIS was first to report alleged civilian casualties, yet outlets picked up this story anyway," tweeted coalition spokesperson US Army Col. Sean Ryan on Saturday.

The SDF have reportedly suffered many casualties recently as ISIS stepped up attacks, taking advantage of bad weather.

SDF suspended operations against ISIS in the Hajin area of the Euphrates River valley on October 31 after The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

carried out attacks against Kurdish positions in the Kobane region of Rojava, northern Syria. The SDF announced on Sunday operations are now resuming.

The SDF is primarily composed of the mostly Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG).

and Raqqa.

Prior to the most recent phase of Operation Roundup in Hajin, the coalition dropped leaflets instructing people to flee via safe routes.

Hajin in Syria's eastern Deir ez-Zor governorate lies near the Iraqi border. Iraq's Ministry of Defence said their side of the border is secure with forces and defensive measures employed from the Euphrates river crossing in al-Qaim north to Mosul.

At times the Iraqi Air Force and Iraqi Security Forces have conducted cross-border operations targeting ISIS and supporting SDF efforts.

Egypt state gazette publishes names of 164 Al-Gamaa Al-Islamiya members placed on terrorism list
[AlAhram] Egypt’s official gazette published on Sunday the names of 164 members of the hard-line Islamist movement al-Gamaa al-Islamiya
...also in our files as Moslem Brotherhood-allied Jamaa al-Islamiya
...The Islamic Group. Sunni Islamist alignment in Lebanon. The group was founded in 1952 as the Leb branch of the Moslem Brüderbund. Its current leader is Faisal Mawlawi. The party has a military wing known as the al-Fajr Forces. Currently they have 1 seat in the Lebanese Parliament...
who were placed on a terrorism list by a Cairo criminal court on 28 October.

The court placed the group, which waged an armed insurgency in the 1990s but renounced violence more than a decade ago, on a "terrorist entities" list, and placed 164 of its members on the terrorism list for five years.

The list includes the group's leading members Assem Abdel-Maged,
...he once shared a prison cell with Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri, and was jailed for 25 years for his part in the 1981 assassination of President Anwar El-Sadat. He was last seen living in exile in Qatar...
Mohammed El-Islambouly
... also known as Mohammed Showqi al-Islambouli, brother of Khalid al- Islambouli, the assassin of the late Egyptian president Anwar Sadat...
and Tarek El-Zomor.
...currently sheltered in Turkey and accused of leading and financing Ansar Beit al Maqdis/Wilayat Sinai (ISIS)...
The court also ordered that the funds of those added to the list be seized and managed by a special committee.

"These are judicial precautionary measures that seek to preserve, protect and [serve] the interest of the entire society," said the court.

The court's decision was based on a memo prepared by the High State Security Prosecution that says many leaders and members of al-Gamaa al-Islamiya "renounced their previous initiative to stop violence and declared their adherence to the ideology of the organization that justifies violent acts," and regard the president as an infidel for failing to abide by Islamic Sharia law, the official gazette said.

Al-Gamaa al-Islamiya was implicated in the 1981 liquidation of Egyptian President Anwar El-Sadat before they renounced violence more than a decade ago.
....in between they busied themselves with the 1997 Luxor temple massacre of 62 people, mostly foreign tourists...

during the group’s armed insurrection against the state in the 1990s.

Morsi, a leader of the Moslem Brüderbund group who was removed from office after a one-year rule, is now serving a 20-year sentence after being convicted for involvement in the killing of protesters during demonstrations that culminated in his ouster, and a 25-year jail term over spying for Qatar

Egyptian authorities banned the Brotherhood in 2013 and declared it a terrorist organization.
Al Arabiya adds:
The court said that the decision came after the disclosure of attempts by the leaders of the group to revive its terror activities, incitement against the state, recruitment of fighters from the governorates of impoverished Upper Egypt and its association with foreign parties.
