[NEWYORK.CBSLOCAL] Security guards hopped into action after a fight broke out between a man dressed as the Easter bunny and shoppers at a mall in New Jersey.
A video of the incident was posted on Twitter around 5:40 p.m. Sunday. It shows a chaotic scene in a section that was set up to take photos with the Easter bunny at the Newport Mall in Jersey City.
The man in the bunny costume is seen brawling before being separated by security. The man then appears seconds later, throws off his white bunny gloves and exchanges punches with another man.

[CNN] French and Belgian police have launched a manhunt for a newly identified suspect linked to November's Gay Paree terror attacks, as revelations about the depth of networks cultivated by a recently captured runaway fuel concerns about potential future assaults.
Salah Abdeslam, whose DNA was found on a suicide belt discarded on a Gay Paree street after the November 13 attacks, spent more than four months on the run as Europe's most wanted man before he was jugged Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un! in a gunbattle in the Brussels suburb of Molenbeek on Friday.
Since his capture, officials have said he was ready to carry out future attacks and was supported by a wide network of associates, and they warned of the possibility of a new wave of ISIS bully boyz preparing to carry out further attacks.
In a statement Monday, the Belgian prosecutor's office appealed to the public for sightings of Najim Laachraoui, 24, who has used the alias Soufiane Kayal and traveled with Abdeslam to Budapest, Hungary, in September of last year, the statement said.
Authorities had previously said that a man using the Kayal alias had been in contact via phone with Gay Paree attacks ringleader Abdelhamid Abaaoud, apparently giving him directives in the lead-up to the November attacks, and that the name had been used to rent a villa in Auvelais, southern Belgium, which was used by the plotters.

Don't forget Robert Byrd, lifelong Democrat Senator from West Virginia and KKK member.
But I have to wonder if some of these people who are punching the protesters at Trump rallies are who they say they are. I wonder if a close look at their background might show they are Hillary supporters who are throwing punches to further the narrative that Trump supporters are prone to violence...agents provocateurs, so to speak. If the Beest would stoop to sending her Brown Shirts to Trump rallies she'd certainly stoop a little lower just to be absolutely certain that there is trouble at Trump rallies.
"If you ever wondered what's wrong with the Black Lives Matter supporters mentality, wonder no more. One woman actually stated, 'He didn't do no wrong, he just shot a cop.'
Najee Harmon, 19, had a long list of assaults, thefts, vandalisms [sic] and armed robberies. But when he shot a police officer, a woman who's known him his entire life, Stephanie King, uttered some of the most heartless words I've ever heard.
'HE DIDN'T DO NO WRONG, HE JUST SHOT A COP!' She continued, 'Then everybody come around when they shoot the cops, but when the cops shoot people, do they come around?'

Mental age of 5 years old who's never been spanked?
When and if it comes down to a vote for one of just two candidates in the remaining Republican primaries, a majority may still vote for Ted Cruz, which at this point I think is the far wiser course. In November, like most conservatives I’ll probably hold my nose and vote for whoever is the Republican nominee--unless, of course, she or he is arrested or indicted or springs a private server on us.
But will the so-called establishment do the latter?
...Mostly unmentioned, except for a few bolder Republicans, is the specter that elites and establishment types really will form a third party, stay home, or vote for Hillary Clinton. We can dispense with the triad of choices, because there is only one choice: staying home or forming a third party, despite all the high-minded professions, is a vote for Hillary Clinton, or rather a third term for Barack Obama. And there lies the dilemma that everyone dreads.
So the looming questions for the elite concern whether Godzilla Hillary would be better than King Kong Trump.
...In other words, staying home or voting for a third party will elect the most unethical politician in recent memory, one who stayed out of court or jail only because of her connections and candidacy. Her exemption from indictment in itself will be a stain on the entire judicial system for generations to come.
...Lots of us have contextualized Trump's boorish crudity in the long tradition of American politics. In truth, for all his bombast he is no Wallace segregationist, much less a Hitler-lite brown shirt. His melodramatic excesses are firmly within the Obama or Reagan tradition of bring a gun to a knife fight/get in their faces/punish our enemies and "if it takes a bloodbath, let's get it over with"--only serial rather than episodic.
His quips are or are not as uncouth as those of Ruth Bader Ginsburg on abortion and Eric Holder and Obama on race. When Trump crudely starts talking of the positive aspects of aborting black babies, or referring to whites as "my people," or lamenting that the slain Nicole Simpson might have looked like the second daughter he never had, I'll reconsider that assessment and agree he is racist.
...I imagine that on paper in terms of the economy, taxes, immigration, deficits and debt, Obamacare, Supreme Court appointments, the military, and abortion, the latest incarnation of Trump would be more conservative than the latest incarnation of Clinton. The key in any general election for a conservative is to vote for the more conservative candidate--if his or her character is no worse than the alternative. Sitting out is more principled, but it is a vote nonetheless for the less conservative candidate with as many or more ethical defects.
...I hope the egoist John Kasich drops out as soon as possible. Perhaps in the remaining head-to-head primaries, Trump will lose to Ted Cruz and thus remind Republican voters that he cannot win in such one-on-one elections.
But in the meantime, we should get ready for our Godzilla vs. King Kong decision ahead, and quit talking about sitting out or voting for a third party as anything other than a vote for Hillary Clinton.
2016 really is about the past and the future: the unfortunate past has given us the apparent likelihood of a Trump, and the frightening future may well give us something I fear even worse in Hillary Clinton.
...The biggest potential mistake the Democratic party can make is to imagine that "America's angry year" was created by Trump; that by stopping him they will have won their war. The RAND history survey suggests this is unlikely. It is the long term trends that will be decisive. Elites facing an insurgency often discover the need for strategic patience and solutions only long after their overconfidence has doomed them to defeat.

In the words of Yen Lo in The Manchurian Candidate: "I forget that yours is a young country and your attention spans are short." The self-anointed elites in the US are not even paying attention to what is happening around them. The "angry" ones they cluck their tongues about are living the realities of it all every day.

The George Orwell estate is owed a huge royalty check from the Left for providing the manual of their political actions. For the Left there is no intellect, only power.
[American Mirror] Bill Clinton is deteriorating before our eyes.
The former president appeared in Tucson and Phoenix on Sunday and during an introduction by Mark Kelly, Clinton stood expressionless, seemingly chewing on his tongue with his mouth agape.
Kelly, and his wife, former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, appeared with Clinton. As Kelly launched attacks against Republican front runner Donald Trump, Clinton stared off into the crowd. He looked at the floor, his mouth hanging open.
As the audience cheered for Kelly’s lines, Clinton stood motionless. Even Giffords smiled and nodded affectionately.
The campaign trail -- and perhaps other factors -- have clearly taken a toll on Clinton.
While campaigning in Iowa in January to rescue Hillary’s floundering presidential campaign, the former president’s hand could be seen trembling while he was making a point.
As he was explaining his wife’s rationale for invoking 9/11 to defend her ties to Wall Street, Clinton said, "She was making the point that the people devastated on 9/11 were people to her, not categories."
Watch his left hand at the :30 mark:
In 2013, Clinton denied having Parkinson’s.
"I have a condition that sometimes you get with aging," Clinton said at the time, the Huffington Post reported. "You may have noticed it; my hand has a little tremor when I’m tired and a lot of people do when they’re older."
"The first time it happened, I had to go get myself checked to make sure I didn’t have Parkinson’s [disease]," he said.
He said his doctor claimed he didn’t though Clinton didn’t say what condition he has.

[Wash Times] An Army general who reached the pinnacle of military intelligence says his service's war-deployed data analytical network is a flop and needs to be stopped, rebuilt and renamed.
Retired Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, who headed the Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency until 2014 and held a number of terrorist-hunting jobs, is the most senior officer to publicly chastise the Army for how it has clung to the Distributed Common Ground System, or DCGS.
In doing so, Mr. Flynn sides with a number of field commanders who have written blistering internal criticisms of DCGS. Intelligence officers found it slow and susceptible to crashes. Too big to fail. The 'Dristributed Common Ground Station' (DCGS) is the F-35 of the DoD Intelligence Community. No, on second thought, DCGS is probably worse. At least pilots are willing to FLY the F-35.
[Breitbart] Speaking in a radio interview on Sunday, John Bolton, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, stated he believes the FBI will "explode" if Hillary Clinton ultimately is not indicted for her email infractions due to what he described as politics triumphing over the legal system.
Bolton was being interviewed for "Aaron Klein Investigative Radio," broadcast on New York’s AM 970 The Answer and Philadelphia’s NewsTalk 990 AM.
Klein, who doubles as Breitbart’s Jerusalem bureau chief and senior investigative reporter, asked Bolton whether he thinks Clinton will ultimately be indicted for allegedly sending classified information over her private email server.
"I think that the pressure is definitely building," Bolton responded. "And just take the politics out of this for a second. What Hillary Clinton and her top aides did is not just make a few small violations of laws to protect classified information. They made wholesale violations and they did it for a sustained, indeed for a four-year period."

...Sadly, no they won't. Although the Bureau may still be marginally more competent, honest, and trustworthy than other Government agencies, they are still a Government agency. The very - VERY - few who quit in protest, if any, will be painted as unreliable malcontents whom the Bureau is better off without.
We have but a short time left. Unless there is an indictment before the end of the primaries, many action by the Bureau will be portrayed as political dirty tricks. And right now I see no indication that's going to happen.

[Breitbart] On the Saturday broadcast of "Justice" on Fox News Channel, host Judge Jeanine Pirro ripped the GOP establishment, accusing them of being "in bed with the Democrats" and trying to "sabotage their own front-runner."
"Why would Republicans try to sabotage their own front-runner and risk a Democrat winning the White House?" Pirro asked herself out loud.
"I keep coming up with the same answer. The Republican establishment, elected officials and party leaders are in bed with the Democrats! If Hillary wins, nothing is lost for them, it’s business as usual," she explained. "The lobbyists keep their offices on K Street. The pharmaceutical companies keep paying them. The unions keep adding to their pensions and the lawmakers get their reelection bribes -- I mean contributions -- while we the underclass have to work two and three jobs; rack up a debt our children and grandchildren are gonna have to pay for generations."
For those who bash Israel, it is axiomatic that Israel is building illegal settlements in Judea and Samaria, otherwise known as the West Bank, against international law.
This is peddled ad nauseam by the EU and the myriad anti-Israel NGOs it funds, and is the basis of the EU’s policy of labeling goods from the "occupied territories."
Yet astoundingly, the EU itself is behind the building of illegal settlements there.
Last year, it announced it was providing âŹ3.5 million to fund infrastructure projects in Area C, the section of the disputed territories under Israeli control.
These settlements, which fly the EU flag and display its logo on their structures, are to be found in more than 40 locations in Area C. According to the Israeli NGO Regavim which maps this activity, between 2012 and 2014 more than 400 of them were constructed within the Adumim area near Jerusalem alone.
Under the Oslo Accords, Area C is administered by Israel. The EU settlements, constructed without Israeli permission and against Israeli zoning laws, are therefore illegal squatter camps.
Israel regularly demolishes these structures.
Last month, the United Nations special coordinator for the Middle East peace process, Nikolay Mladenov, complained to the UN Security Council that, since the beginning of this year, Israel had demolished on average 29 Palestinian-owned structures per week, three times the weekly average for 2015. "These actions run directly counter to the idea of peace," he said.
The EU maintains that it is merely providing humanitarian aid for the Palestinians.
This is clearly disingenuous. The Arabs living in the disputed territories are not living in starvation or destitution, the proper focus of true humanitarian aid.
No, the EU has another objective in mind altogether -- one it barely troubles to conceal.
It is using settlement construction to reshape demographic reality and undermine Israel. As I see it, EU is basically in the business of spreading Tranzi ideology. In particular, (through infinite stupidity/arrogance) it allied itself with Islam against all nation states. The "transformation" of USA proceeds satisfactorily. Russia, the several EU moves having failed---mainly because transformed USA has not been much help (surprise, surprise), is too strong right now. Israel, however, being the very symbol of a nation state is always a high priority (+ nobody likes uppity Jews).

you know, if the Israelis were even 10% the monsters they are made out to be, these activists would be all mysteriously dead by various unpleasant means by now.
A number of Badakhshan provincial council members and civil society activists on Sunday raised concerns over the end of military operations in the province and said the move would give militants a chance to regroup and strengthen their positions.
They urged security forces to continue their operations against insurgents in the province.
"If we don't make use of this short opportunity, we will face a huge problem in the coming spring," said Jawed Mojadedi, a member of Badakhshan provincial council.
Saifuddin Sais, head of a civil society organization in the province, believes that postponing the operation will open routes for supplies to militants. "Wardooj district shares a border with Chitral area of Pakistan and it also shares a border with the volatile province of Nuristan. Once the snow has melted, the militants can receive equipment from these two areas," he said.
Meanwhile, a number of Jihadi leaders in the province said more areas will fall to the Taliban, if security forces fail to retake the areas controlled by the militants.
Nazir Mohammad Niazi, a commander of a public uprising group in Badakhshan, urged government not to stop military operations in the province.
However, security officials did not provide details about why the military operations were stopped.
"It does not mean that we are not allowed [to fight]. We are waiting. Once we pave the ground for ourselves, then were going to take action," said Sakhidad Haidari, security chief at the police headquarters.
Badakhshan police said that they will soon launch a large-scale offensive in the province to restrict militants' activities and retake areas controlled by the Taliban.
[Dhaka Tribune] In the fallout of the $100-million Bangladesh Bank heist, the Philippine financial industry became front and center in the media, raising questions on how such a huge amount of dirty money easily got into the country.
The money was coursed through Philippines' banking system, deposited to a Filipino-Chinese businessman's bank account, and transferred to 3 large casinos -- these are just some important details in a story that is developing into the biggest documented case of money laundering in Philippine history.
With less than two months left before the current administration ends, this could even stain President Benigno Aquino III's legacy of minimizing corruption in the country, with the Philippines in danger of returning to the "gray list" of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

[Dhaka Tribune] Businessman Kim Wong appears to be the criminal mastermind of the laundering through the Philippine financial system of $81 million stolen from the Bangladesh central bank, according to Senetor Serge Osmeña.
Maia Santos-Deguito, manager of the Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) branch on Jupiter Street, Makati City, is not the most guilty party in the caper, said Osmeña, who described Deguito as a credible witness after she faced the senators in a closed session on Thursday.
It was Wong who asked Deguito to open the bank accounts where the $81 million was wired, and who instructed her to use the services of foreign exchange remittance company Philrem Services Inc., Osmeña said.

"Appears to be..."
Does that mean they could have the Wong Kim?
North Korea is clearing up and repairing a remote nuclear test site in Punggye-ri, which seems capable of supporting another nuclear test "at any time," according to the website 38 North.
North Korean Pudgy Kim Jong-un early last week announced a test of a nuclear warhead soon. The fourth and latest nuclear test was conducted 22 days after the enormous Kim gave the order on Dec. 15.
Defense Ministry spokesman Moon Sang-gyun here confirmed that the site at Pyungye-ri, North Hamgyong Province is being maintained "in a condition that allows another nuclear test to be conducted at short notice."
Activity has been spotted near the north entrance of the test site, where the last test was carried out, according to analysis of satellite images on March 6 and 14.
"Recent commercial satellite imagery indicates continued activity... that does not appear directed at further tunnel excavation but rather to maintain existing tunnels as well as to clean up after the January 2016 nuclear test," 38 North said.
38 North pointed to what appears to be water draining from the entrance.
"This may support the hypothesis that branching tunnels lead to other test chambers since the shaft used for the January test should have been completely sealed to prevent radioactivity leakage," 38 North said.
A rash of celebrations are coming up in the North, including regime founder Kim Il-sung’s birthday, and a party congress looms in May, which is ample motivation for the regime to show off achievements to an increasingly disaffected population.
The North recently claimed to have miniaturized a nuclear weapon so it can be mounted on a missile, and speculation here is that it will be testing the device.

[ARA News] QAMISHLI – At least 15 jihadi leaders from the radical group of Islamic State (ISIS) were killed in airstrikes in Iraq’s northern province of Kirkuk, Iraqi security sources confirmed.
“Based on accurate security information, the Iraqi air forces hit the [ISIS] terrorists’ headquarters in the town of Hawija, south of Kirkuk, killing at least 15 ISIS top leaders,” Iraqi Intelligence Directorate military said in a statement.
The airstrikes have also caused a huge damage in ISIS buildings and the nearby houses.
The source added that most of the jihadis killed in the strikes were local Arabs.
“Dozens more were injured during the airstrikes,” the statement added. “Also, several ISIS-led armored vehicles parked near the targeted headquarters were bombed in the attack.”
In the meantime, a U.S. soldier was killed in an ISIS-led rocket attack on Saturday in the Iraqi military base of Karasur of Makhmour area. This is the second US casualty in the war against ISIS.
The hardline group has been receiving painful blows by the U.S.-led coalition and allied forces over the past four months. ISIS started to launch arbitrary arrest campaigns against civilians in the areas under its control, forcing hundreds of young men to join the fighting, in a bid to compensate the unprecedented shortage in its manpower, according to local sources.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] President Barack Obama If I had a son he'd look like Trayvon... said the benefits of the Iranian nuclear deal are "undeniable" although it may still take time for people to begin enjoying them.
Obama said the deal makes it possible for Iran to rejoin the global economy through increased trade and investment, creating jobs and opportunities for Iranians to sell their goods around the world.
The president added that the U.S. still has "profound differences" with Iran, but said the fact that the countries are talking regularly for the first time in decades could help solve them.
Obama addressed the Iranian people in his annual video message marking Nowruz, the Persian New Year. Citing his trip Sunday to Cuba, he said it's possible for old adversaries to start down a new path after decades of mistrust.
Gulf Arab states have previously said they required further assurances that the U.S. would help them counter increasing Iranian regional influence.

[Rudaw] At least six Islamic State (ISIS) were killed by warplanes from the US-led coalition and a weapons depot belonging to the group destroyed in the town of Gayara southern djinn-infested Mosul, a Kurdish Peshmerga commander told Rudaw on Sunday.
"Last night the coalition jets bombed ISIS positions including a weapons depot in Gayara," said Sirwan Barzani, commander of the Peshmerga forces on the Makhmour-Gwer front, Gayara is occupied by the group.
Barzani added that bombings killed "six ISIS holy warriors in the villages of Khatab and Ankawa on the front."
The coalition bombings comes at a time when ISIS has increased its artillery fires and mortar shells in the area since Iraqi army forces arrived in Makhmour in preparation for an imminent assault against the group's main stronghold, Mosul.

Ukrainian and Russian backed rebels continue to suffer casualties in ongoing fighting in southeastern Ukraine, according to Russian language news accounts.
A news report which appeared in tsensor.net.ua said that rebels have lost six dead and 11 wounded over two days of fighting in and near Donetsk city. Most of the losses were to the rebel 11th Separate Motorized Rifle Regiment, which is posted near Makievka in northeastern Donetsk city. They have been participating in the fighting near Avdievka and in Yasinovataya for two weeks.
A separate news account which appeared in korrespondent.net said that at least two Ukrainian soldiers were killed when their vehicle struck a mine in Avdievka Sunday evening. A Twitter report by an individual identified as Vitaliy Denega said he was uncertain if those losses were from the Ukrainian 58th Motorized Rifle Brigade.
Rebel military officials say that the main Ukrainian unit involved in the fighting at Yasinovataya, the 58th Separate Rifle Brigade has lost eight dead and 15 wounded over the last three days.
The total losses for the Ukrainian side at Yasinovataya comes to 38 dead. Rebel officials have yet to summarize their losses. The last time they reported losses, two rebel soldiers were killed three days ago.
The situation around Yasinovataya is static, with rebel troops dug in along the main road that connects Gorlovka to Donetsk city. Rebels say that Ukrainian artillery continues hitting rebel positions near the road, making normal transport all but impossible. The Ukrainian move into the area comes during the rainy season in Ukraine and Russia, where travel becomes difficult for tracked vehicles and nearly impossible for wheeled vehicles.
It is anyone's guess as to what will happen to the Ukrainian positions once the ground firms up in late spring.
Fighting elsewhere in Donetsk
Another news report posted on tsensor.net.ua quoted the Ukrainian ministry of defense saying rebel activity has been reported in Opytnoye, Novotroitsk, Peski and Marinka, where rebel forces have fired small arms and RPGs at Ukrainian positions.
The report also said that rebel mortar fire was reported near Zaitsevo, which is north of Gorlovka. 152mm artillery fire was reported on Ukrainian targets at Avidievka.
According to a news release posted by the Donetsk ministry of defense on its website, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire a total of 43 times in 24 hours.
Among the localities hit were Zaitsevo, Spartak, Trudovskoy, and the Donetsk airport. Ukrainian artillery struck the southern Donetsk village of Kominternovo.

No rocket artillery yet. But the rebels will want to restore the situation at Yasinovataya before too long, and that means bringing back the rocket artillery.
Shells continued to fall from the Yemeni side into a southwestern neighboring Saudi areas on Friday, causing no injuries but material damages to a mosque and homes, violating an agreed respite.

Shelling hit Al-Rouha and Al-Rokouba neighborhoods in Samtah, a town in the southwestern province of Jazan, including one of its mosques during Friday prayers but no casualties were reported. However, houses close to the mosque incurred material losses.
On Thursday, the White House welcomed a pledge from a Saudi-led coalition to wind down the air war in Yemen. White House spokesman Josh Earnest welcomed a coalition statement that the year-old campaign against Iran-backed Houthi militias was nearing the “end of the major combat phase.”

Key take-away: It's not over. There are a LOT of them.
[Daily Caller] An event featuring a transgender speaker at Brown University has been called off after student activists objected that the speaker’s event would be hosted by a Jewish organization.
Janet Mock, born a male, transitioned to living as a female as a teenager and now works as a writer and transgender activist. Mock was scheduled to speak at Brown March 21 as part of a speaker series put on by Moral Voices, a Jewish student organization dedicated to the discussion of various moral issues.
Mock’s scheduled appearance was soon the target of activists, who complained that his speech would be delivered at Brown/RISD Hillel, Brown’s Jewish student center. In an online petition, critics argued that Mock’s appearance was an act of "pinkwashing," an attempt to distract from the suffering of Palestinians by portraying Israel and Jews in general as progressive on LGBT issues. Israel is the only country in the Middle East that allows same-sex marriage, and it has allowed gays to serve openly in the military since 1993.
"Hillel’s Moral Voices campaign has chosen the topic of LGBTQ rights this year," the petition says. "This hides the fact that for decades, the state of Israel and Israeli advocacy organizations (like Hillel) have been engaging in pinkwashing, a strategy that tries to improve Israel’s image and rebrand it as a liberal, modern, and ‘hip’ country. By shifting the focus to a very narrow definition of LGBTQ rights (exclusively for queer Israelis and not for queer Palestinians), Israel uses pinkwashing to deflect attention from Israel’s colonization and occupation of Palestine, and the violence that is being carried out against Palestinians."
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Yemeni officials say Iranian catspaws and the internationally recognized government have agreed to begin a ceasefire for a week or two before their next round of negotiations.
The officials participated in talks Sunday in Sanaa, the capital, between the rebels and UN envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed. They say talks are expected to restart next month.
The officials said the Iranian catspaws, known as Houthis, have agreed to implement a UN security council resolution which requires them to hand over weapons and withdraw from territory, including Sanaa.
All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief news hounds.
Previous attempts to implement a ceasefire in Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Israel has warned against travel to Turkey as the bodies of three of its nationals killed in a suicide bombing in Istanbul on Saturday were airlifted home.
Israel’s counter-terrorism bureau urged its citizens to rule out any travel to Turkey after a suicide bombing tore through Istiklal Street, a shopping precinct in central Istanbul, leaving the three Israelis, an Iranian and the bomber dead and another 36 wounded.
The advice was upgraded from a level four warning of potential attacks to a level two warning of concrete attacks.
A statement from the prime minister’s office noted that there had been a rise in the threat level of attacks in Turkey in the past two months, with the number of suicide bombings carried out by the Kurdish PKK and Islamic State on the rise.
On Saturday night, an Israeli military rescue mission landed in Istanbul. On board were members of the air force, military and medical corps, together with an emergency room and operating theatre. Eleven of the 36 wounded were Israelis.
The families of Jonathan Shor, 40, Simha Damari, 60 and Avraham Goldman, 69, were flown to Istanbul to identify their bodies. In an emotional video in Istanbul, family members stood beside Israeli military personnel in salute as the caskets of the three Israelis killed in the blast were placed on board the Hercules on Sunday.
As the Hercules touched down at Ben Gurion airport on Sunday afternoon, Israeli military personnel lifted the three coffins, each draped in the Israeli star of David flag, from the aircraft.
Five other Israelis wounded in the same attack arrived back in Israel on Sunday afternoon. Another five wounded Israelis, including one woman in a critical condition, remained in hospitals in Istanbul where Israeli medical staff from Magen David Adom (the Israeli Red Cross) were to monitor their care.

TRIPOLI: Nine migrants trying to reach Europe have drowned off Libya and hundreds more been rescued, the Red Crescent said Sunday amid fears of an increase in crossing attempts as the route from Turkey closes.
Leaders from six EU nations led by Britain held talks in Brussels on Friday on how to tackle the flow of migrants across the Mediterranean from Libya after a European naval task force plucked more than 3,100 from the water in just three days.
The nine who died were among several hundred migrants who were discovered aboard dilapidated boats off the port of Zawiya, west of Tripoli, on Saturday, Libyan Red Crescent spokesman Malek Mersit said.
A total of 586 migrants were rescued, said Col. Ayoub Qassem, spokesman for the navy of a Tripoli administration that has disputed power with Libya’s internationally recognized government since 2014.
They included 11 children and 60 women, and were mainly Bangladeshis and Sudanese, he said.
The drownings came just days after four migrants were killed in a boat fire off Libya and another 187 rescued.
European leaders fear that a deal with Turkey to tackle the EU’s worst ever migrant crisis will spark an acceleration in the already large number of crossing attempts from Libya.
Around 330,000 have landed in Italy from Libya since the start of 2014.
The lawlessness that has reigned in the North African nation since the NATO-backed overthrow of veteran dictator Muammar Qaddafi in 2011 has made it a favored jumping-off point.
BEIRUT: Dozens of people were killed in a series of airstrikes on the city of Raqqa in northern Syria on Saturday, a monitoring group and activists said, as Damascus and Moscow waged attacks on areas
controlled by Daesh.
A cessation of hostilities in Syria took effect three weeks ago, reducing violence but not halting the fighting as peace talks take place in Geneva. The deal does not include Al-Qaeda or Daesh militants, whose de facto capital in Syria is Raqqa.
Russia has been pulling out its attack aircraft after announcing a partial withdrawal from Syria, where its air campaign in support of Bashar Assad has turned fighting in his favor.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that at least 39 people had been killed and dozens more wounded in the raids on Raqqa.
An activist group with sources in Raqqa, called Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently, said more than 40 had been killed, and that separate strikes hit areas in the north of Raqqa province.
The Observatory said the dead included seven women and five children. It said it was not clear whether Syrian or Russian warplanes had conducted the airstrikes.
Separately, Russian warplanes hit the Daesh-held historic city of Palmyra and its immediate vicinity with some 70 airstrikes, the Observatory said, killing at least 18 Daesh fighters.
Government forces and their allies are aiming to capture Palmyra, some 200 km southwest of Raqqa and also held by Daesh since May.
The Observatory said 16 people were also killed in air strikes in Raqqa on Friday.
The UNICEF said recently that one in three Syrian children have known nothing but a lifetime of war, as the country’s conflict enters its sixth year this week.
“Every Syrian child under the age of five has known nothing but a lifetime shaped by war — that’s an estimated 2.9 million children inside Syria and at least 811,000 in neighboring countries,” the UN children’s agency said.

ALEPPO – Subsequent to fierce clashes, the Islamic State (ISIS) radical group was able Sunday to regain several villages and towns from the Islamist rebels in the Syrian northern province of Aleppo, military sources reported.
The two parties exchange missile bombardment, during which dozens of casualties were reported in the ranks of the Islamist fighters. The clashes continued until Sunday midnight.
Speaking to ARA News in Aleppo, Saleh Zein, spokesman of Islamist rebels said: “Daesh [ISIS] militants carried out counterattacks against our rebels in the northern areas of Aleppo province near the Syrian-Turkish border, and were able to recapture the strategic towns of Miregil and Toqatli.”
“Daesh took over the two towns after fierce battles with Ash-Sham corps and the brigade of Sultan Murad, causing them heavy losses,” Zein said, pointing out the rebels were forced to withdraw towards the towns of Hour, Harjala, and Dahla.
The two sides also exchanged artillery fire, where dozens of mortar shells dropped on the neighboring towns of Qara Kopri and Ghazl on the Syria-Turkey border, causing casualties among civilians, according to the spokesman.
Earlier this week, Syrian Islamist fighters have taken over several towns north of Aleppo, especially after the U.S.-led coalition forces intensified airstrikes on the ISIS locations near the Turkish border. However, ISIS regained two strategic towns after causing the rebels heavy losses in manpower and equipment.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The pilots of the Flydubai plane that crashed in Russia on Saturday, killing 62 people, had expressed concern ...meaning the brow was mildly wrinkled, the eyebrows drawn slightly together, and a thoughtful expression assumed, not that anything was actually done or indeed that any thought was actually expended... s over weather conditions, an air traffic control recording has allegedly revealed.
One of the pilots in the seven-minute recording can be heard asking whether the "weather is better?" as they approached Rostov-on-Don airport. Apparently it wasn't.
Preliminary information indicates the FlyDubai Flight FZ981 was landing when it hit the ground and broke into pieces at the airport about 950 kilometers south of Moscow.

[Zamboanga Today] Philippine security forces nabbed three Abu Sayyaf militants suspected in an ambush that killed two military intelligence agents earlier this week in a joint operations in Patikul town in Sulu.
Brig. Gen. Alan Arrojado identified the three rebels as Jemar Asgari, Alden Asmad, and Dems Abtal. He said, "The suspects were riding a motorcycle in Barangay Bangkal around 11:40 a.m. when a joint military and police team led by Major Ibni Saddama noticed they had guns tucked in their waists."
Arrojado said the suspects were chased by the joint security forces until they were cornered and apprehended. He said the three were responsible for the deaths of the two intelligence operatives on March 15, and were also involved in the killing of police personnel at the Jolo airport.

[Manila Bulletin] Security forces foiled an alleged New People's Army plot to attack two economic installations in Bukidnon and arrested 12 militants, seven of them minors, following a weekend clash, according to belated reports reaching Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on Sunday. The five adults were charged with illegal possession of ammunition and attempted murder.
Capt. Norman Tagros said the arrests followed a clash with an NPA unit belonging to Samahang Partido Propaganda 5, Guerilla Front 6, North Central Mindanao Regional Committee in Quezon over the weekend.
No casualties were reported on the government side, but the military believes a number of the Maoist militants were either killed or injured as bloodstains were seen on their path of retreat.
[Rudaw] The United States Marine who was killed in an Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) rocket attack on Saturday was part of an American fire-base which had been set up near Makhmour.
The Marine was killed when ISIS fired two rockets from their positions 15km away, one of which hit the base and killed him. His fellow Marines immediately returned fire hitting the ISIS position with artillery fire.
The fire-base is home for a "couple of hundred" Marines who are living in tents on the front-line. There they have set up howitzer artillery guns which will defend Iraqi and Kurdish troops during the upcoming liberation of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... . Currently it serves as protection for the nearby base where Americans are training 5,000 Iraqi soldiers who are readying for the long anticipated operation.
This is according to CNN which has learned, through a US defense official, that the Marines moved into the area around a fortnight ago having previously been based on the USS Kearsarge amphibious assault ship.
The US coalition also announced on Sunday that in coordination with the Iraqi government they "assigned a detachment of US Marines from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the support of the Iraqi Security Forces and coalition ground operations. The detachment from the 26th MEU will add to the Marines and sailors currently in Iraq."
The Marines have nicknamed their front-line base "Fire Base Bell".

And who is responsible for protecting the Marine fire base? Have we not been here before? Have we learned nothing since 1968 ?
#4
Perhaps this is why the Army didn't get the job:
Forward observer
The 13F MOS was the only field artillery job that hadn't been opened to women.
Officials wanted to make a decision about the 13F MOS alongside the infantry and armor specialties because forward observers often are embedded with infantry and armor units.

And who is responsible for protecting the Marine fire base?
Probably threw it to the locals.
Have we not been here before? Have we learned nothing since 1968 ?
Couple of small differences. The arty unit was likely detailed off the Kearsarge as a temporary measure. No doubt national leadership decided it was 'inconvenient' to provide a security force, especially since the Misguided Children tend to be a bit... proactive... when guarding their own.

MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. A passenger Boeing of Russia’s UTair air company has safely landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport after spending about two hours in midair preparing for an emergency landing, a spokeswoman for the airport told TASS on Sunday.
"The plane landed safely, the passengers will be taken to the terminal," Maria Sharavina said.
There were 112 passengers onboard the plane.
The Boeing 737-800 passenger jet (flight UT-247) took off from Vnukovo for Surgut but shortly after the takeoff the pilot decided to return to the airport after a failure detector signaled a malfunction.
A source in emergencies services told TASS that the plane was flying at an altitude of 2.13 kilometers over Obninsk and Serpukhov (southwest of Moscow) for more about two hours to burn out fuel.

The footage will be broadcast online to "document all Israeli violations and aggressions," he said in a statement, adding that no cameras would be installed inside mosques.
Clashes between Paleostinian youths and Israeli security forces erupted at the compound in September amid fears among Muslims that Israel was planning to change rules governing the site in annexed east Jerusalem.
The Israeli prime minister has said repeatedly there are no such plans.

Aden- Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi convened with his advisors today to discuss files presented by the U.N. special envoy, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, regarding Yemen’s future.
Two days ago, before departing to Sana’a, U.N. special envoy Ahmed had conferred on the case files with President Hadi.
President Hadi confirmed that permanent peace is what will help Yemen avoid future conflicts, based on that, everyone must work on anchoring peace and stability.
Hadi advisor, Yassin Makawi, told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper that most Houthi demands revolve around the halt of air raids. Their demands are in line with preparations for launching political negotiations. On the other hand, ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh requests nothing but a secure escape route from Yemen for himself.
Former President Saleh had worked hand in hand with Houthis for insurgency to takeover and tear Yemen apart.
U.N. special envoy Ahmed had returned to Sana’a yesterday. He is missioned to look into developments for a political settlement for Yemen.
Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper was informed by sources that setting a date and for future negotiations are atop the U.N. envoy’s agenda, in addition to tracking down progress on the Saudi-Yemeni border truce.
Advisor Makawi told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper that the Yemeni government, despite the insurgents’ continuous incursions, is bent on reaching peace. However, at the same time the government does require trust building measures to be accomplished before heading for negotiations.
Trust building measures include freeing political captives held by Houthis.
Makawi also confirmed that Houthis have no other option than to abide to the implementation of the U.N. resolution 2216. Putting the resolution into effect is the main gateway to a true solution in Yemen.
Yemeni political sources assert that the U.N. envoy Ahmed has taken several proposals over to Houthis and Pro-Saleh supporters (armed militants supporting ousted President Saleh).
Among the proposals brought by Ahmed are insurgents attending a new round of negotiations by the end of March, and the talks being moved from Geneva to an Arab nation.
Based on that, Makawi predicted that Kuwait would be the country Yemeni deliberations are moved to. “Because they are aimed at restricting the issue to the region, and that Kuwait had played a positive role in settling previous disputes in Yemen,” he said.
“Ould Cheikh’s efforts are to convince insurgents with implementing U.N. resolution 2216 and then go to negotiations,” Makawi added.
If the U.N. envoy’s mission is a success, Makawi predicted negotiations taking place at the end of this month
A country that has allowed North Korean vessels to sail under its flag has canceled the registrations in line with United Nations sanctions on the communist regime, a senior government official said Sunday.
Without naming the country, the official told reporters that it was one of several nations that allowed the North to skirt taxes and other regulations under a practice called flag of convenience.
The vessels whose registrations were canceled belonged to the Ocean Maritime Management Company, which has been blacklisted under U.N. sanctions.
Earlier this month, the U.N. Security Council adopted a new resolution punishing Pyongyang for its fourth nuclear test in January and long-range rocket launch last month. Among other sanctions measures, the resolution blacklists 31 vessels belonging to OMM.
On Monday, meanwhile, South Korea and the United States will hold high-level consultations on ways to tighten the screws on Pyongyang. South Korea's top nuclear envoy Kim Hong-kyun plans to meet with Sung Kim, the U.S. special representative for North Korea policy, and Daniel Fried, the State Department's coordinator for sanctions policy, in Seoul.
The unusual session will focus on exchanging information on bilateral sanctions on North Korea the allies are imposing, officials said.

[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The former Afghanistan's Caped PresidentHamid Maybe I'll join the Taliban Karzai ... A former Baltimore restaurateur, now 12th and current President of Afghanistan, displacing the legitimate president Rabbani in December 2004. He was installed as the dominant political figure after the removal of the Taliban regime in late 2001 in a vain attempt to put a Pashtun face on the successor state to the Taliban. After the 2004 presidential election, he was declared president regardless of what the actual vote count was. He won a second, even more dubious, five-year-term after the 2009 presidential election. His grip on reality has been slipping steadily since around 2007, probably from heavy drug use... has raised questions regarding the bilateral security agreement between Kabul ...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the World and didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either.... and Washington in the wake of cross-border incursions by Pakistain.
In a statement issued on the occasion of Nowruz, Afghanistan witnessed cross-border incursions by the Pak military during the last solar year as they boldly continue to their invasions on the Afghan soil.
Karzai further added that the Pak military helicopters violated the Afghan air space in estern parts of the country, criticizing the United States for remaining silent despite commitments to jointly respond to such invasions as per the bilateral security pact in place between the two nations.
He also called on the Taliban group to respond positively to the peace talks and cooperate in bring peace, stability and development in the country by joining grinding of the peace processor.
The remarks by Karzai comes as he refused to sign the bilateral security agreement between Kabul and Washington and remained firm on his demands before inking the agreement.
However, there's more than one way to stuff a chicken... the agreement was signed immediately after President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani ...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money. .. succeeded Karzai as the newly-elected president of Afghanistan.
This comes as the Pak air force helicopters violated the Afghan air space by entering the Afghan soil and dropping several bombs in eastern Kunar province ... which is right down the road from Chitral. Kunar is Haqqani country..... of Afghanistan earlier this month.
The violation by the Pak air force followed two days after the Afghan and Pak forces exchanged fire along the Durand Line in Goshta district of eastern Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province.

Google in 2012 sought to help insurgents overthrow Syrian President Bashar Assad, according to State Department emails receiving fresh scrutiny this week.
Messages between former secretary of state Hillary Clinton's team and one of the company's executives detailed the plan for Google to get involved in the region.
"Please keep close hold, but my team is planning to launch a tool ... that will publicly track and map the defections in Syria and which parts of the government they are coming from," Jared Cohen, the head of what was then the company's "Google Ideas" division, wrote in a July 2012 email to several top Clinton officials. Thank goodness they would never think to use that "tool" domestically.

It's just a sign of things to come.
I'm sure Jared and Hillary have had the same conversation about Trump.
Reminds me of the FBI files found on a table in the White House of all Hillary's GOP political enemies.

Efkan Ala identified the bomber as a man born in the southern province of Gaziantep, adding that five people were tossed into the calaboose so far in connection with the bombing.
"We have determined that Mehmet Ozturk, born in 1992 in Gaziantep, has carried out the heinous attack on Saturday in Istanbul. It has been established that he is a member of Daesh [Islamic State]," Ala told a news conference broadcast live on television, using an Arabic acronym for ISIS.
Israel has confirmed that three of its citizens died in the blast. Two of them held dual citizenship with the United States. An Iranian was also killed, Turkish officials have said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel is trying to determine whether its citizens were deliberately targeted. Eleven of the 36 maimed were Israelis.
Saturday’s attack on Istiklal Street, Istanbul’s most popular shopping district, appeared similar to a January suicide kaboom blamed on ISIS that killed at least 12 German tourists in the city's historic center.
More than 80 people have now been killed in four suicide kabooms so far this year in Turkey, a NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
