Multiple diplomatic sources said on Monday that to their knowledge, U.S. Forces Korea(USFK) recently put in place around ten Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles(JASSM) at its air base in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province.

It is also known that the missiles can be mounted on F-16 fighter jets deployed to South Korea on a regular and rotational basis.

US warship sails close to S. China Sea island occupied by Beijing
[South China Morning Post] It was second "freedom-of-navigation operation" conducted under President Donald Trump

The Stethem, a guided-missile destroyer, sailed within 12 nautical miles of Triton Island, part of the Paracel Islands in the South China Sea, the official said.

The operation was first reported by Fox News on Sunday.
It was the second "freedom-of-navigation operation," conducted during the presidency of Donald Trump, following a drill in late May in which a US warship sailed within 12 nautical miles of an artificial island built up by China in the South China Sea.

Twelve nautical miles marks the territorial limits recognised internationally. Sailing within those 12 miles is meant to show that the United States does not recognise territorial claims there.

"Unlike in the Spratlys, where China has created new artificial territory in the last several years, it has effectively controlled the Paracels since 1974," said Mira Rapp-Hooper, a South China Sea expert at the Centre for a New American Security. "It claims illegal straight baselines around the Paracels, and the [US operation] may have been contesting these."

The Attempted 'Russian Collusion' Coup Fails - Plotters Under Scrutiny
[American Thinker] An online friend watching the week’s events observes that they remind her of the villain Haman being hanged on the very scaffold he had built to hang Mordechai in the biblical Book of Esther. That sums up the week in which the federal investigators are themselves under investigation and the press is forced to recant the lies it has been publishing about the administration. Having watched the deep state eviscerate gentleman G.W. Bush and his administration on the Plamegate fiction, this turn of events warms my heart. It’s long overdue.

Loretta Lynch, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and James Comey -- not President Trump -- have more to fear from the ongoing investigations than does President Trump, against whom not a shred of evidence of illegal or improper conduct of his campaign has turned up in a year of searching for one

Even Comey’s replacement, as acting head of the FBI Andrew McCabe, is under investigation -- three separate inquiries into his behavior are, in fact, ongoing.

Circa reported Monday that former supervisory special agent Robyn Gritz, a decorated counterterrorism agent, has filed a sexual discrimination and retaliation complaint that names McCabe and other top FBI officials.

That is working its way through the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and is awaiting a review by an administrative law judge in the Office of Federal Operations.

Gritz also filed a complaint against McCabe with the main federal whistleblower agency in April, alleging social media photos she found show he campaigned for his wife’s Virginia state senate race in violation of the Hatch Act.

FBI employees are held to a higher standard than other federal workers under the Hatch Act and may not "endorse or oppose a candidate for partisan political office or a candidate for political party office in a political advertisement, broadcast, campaign literature, or similar material if such endorsement or opposition is done in concert with a candidate, political party, or partisan political group."

The OSC told Circa that complaint is still being actively investigated.

In addition, the Justice Department Inspector General is investigating allegations from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, that McCabe may not have properly disclosed campaign payments to his wife on his ethics report and should have recused himself from Hillary Clinton's email case.

Investors Business Daily concludes that the worm is beginning to turn on "the conspiracy mongers":

Over the weekend, the New York Post reported that the firm behind the infamous Trump dossier -- Fusion GPS -- has been stonewalling the Senate Judiciary Committee, which has been trying to get information on who paid the firm to produce it and how it was used by government officials.

It has been publicly known since at least early January that Fusion GPS was behind the discredited dossier, which claimed that Russia had blackmailable information on Trump, and that it was a notorious opposition research firm that was often enlisted to dig up dirt on Republicans, including a 2012 smear campaign against a donor to Mitt Romney's campaign.

As the Post notes, one of the Fusion's founders, Peter Fritsch, contributed "at least $1,000 to the Hillary Victory Fund and the Hillary for America campaign."

The Post story has sparked renewed interest in this dossier, most of which has been discredited, but which appears to be serving as a "road map" to various investigations.

John McCain, who peddled the dossier story, knew better -- some of the same figures were involved with him in his presidential campaign, and the claims were proven groundless.

The press, which megaphoned the plot, has lost all credibility.

Rapper Finese2Tymes aka Ricky Hampton arrested day after shooting at Little Rock nightclub
[Breitbart] LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Rapper Finese 2Tymes was arrested in Alabama early Sunday, a day after a shooting at one of his concerts in Little Rock left 28 people injured, the U.S. Marshal Service said.

Ricky Hampton of Memphis, Tennessee, also known as Finese2Tymes, was arrested early Sunday, according to an inmate roster at an Alabama jail. The U.S. Marshal Service said Hampton and another man were arrested at the Side Effects Club in Birmingham, where he was performing.

The Marshal Service says the men were arrested on a "fugitive from justice" warrant. It’s not yet clear whether the arrests were related to the shooting. Little Rock’s police chief previously had said Hampton had outstanding charges in Arkansas.

Twenty-five people between the ages of 16 and 35 suffered gunshot wounds, and three others were hurt, following the shooting at the Power Ultra Lounge early Saturday.

City officials intend to shut down the club. State regulators suspended the club’s liquor license Saturday and its landlord later posted an eviction notice.

The volley of gunfire inside the Power Ultra Lounge early Saturday came so fast that investigators believe multiple people had to have been involved. Police Chief Kenton Buckner credited quick work by first responders for there being no fatalities.

Courtney Swanigan, 23, told The Associated Press that when the gunfire rang out, "I just closed my eyes, got down on the ground and put my hands on my head."

City officials said they would move Monday to shut down the club under a "criminal abatement" program. State regulators suspended the club’s liquor license earlier Saturday.

New variant of the MQ-9 Reaper conducted its first combat mission in Middle East
June 30 (UPI) -- The U.S. Air Force reported Thursday that its new Block 5 variant of the MQ-9 Reaper drone has performed its first combat mission against Islamist terrorists.

The recent 16-hour sortie, flown June 23 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, involved the unmanned aerial vehicle dropping a GBU-38 Joint Direct Attack Munitions bomb and firing two AGM-114 Hellfire missiles in support of ground forces in the Middle East.

Operation Inherent Resolve is the U.S. military name given to operations against ISIS fighters.
"Operation Kill those MFers was deemed inappropriate"
"Working in conjunction with coalition joint terminal attack controllers, other MQ-9 aircraft and crews, our aircrews employed two Hellfires and one GBU-38," Maj. Dan, the 432nd Wing director of operations, said in a press release. "All three strikes met the ground force commander's intent and destroyed two defensive fighting positions, two vehicles and one mortar tube."

The Block 5 MQ-9 has an enhanced electrical and communications systems that allows the use of better software and hardware upgrades for future.

The variant also features the new Block 30 cockpit that required different training for aircrews on the ground.

The new MQ-9 aircraft arrived at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada late February and quickly received modifications, such as changes to the battery cables and enhanced generator control units. In May, these MQ-9s were flown locally at Creech AFB to test airworthiness and then shipped to the area of responsibility for Operation Inherent Resolve.

Meet 'Next Soetoro' Groomed to Make Political History
[WND] The Democratic Party may have found its next Barack Obama.

His name is Dr. Abdul el-Sayed, he’s a 32-year-old medical doctor and he recently launched his campaign for governor of Michigan, the election for which is in November 2018. If he wins he would be America’s first Muslim governor.

He speaks articulately, without an accent, inserts humor into his speeches at seemingly just the right moments, and he has the full backing of America’s powerful Muslim Brotherhood-linked network of Islamic organizations.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, El-Sayed said Michigan voters are having "buyer’s remorse," and that President Trump’s decisions "are at odds with deeply held American values, and distractions from real issues."

Sayed served as the executive director of the Detroit Health Department and Health Officer for the City of Detroit, appointed by Mayor Mike Duggan. At 30 years old, he was at the time of his appointment in 2015 the youngest health director in a major U.S. city.

According to El-Sayed, his decision to run for governor was influenced by concerns over state leadership following the lead-tainted water crisis in Flint, as well as policies being implemented in Washington, D.C., under President Trump.

Dick Manasseri, spokesman for Secure Michigan, a group that educates Michiganders about the threat of Shariah law, predicts that Sayed will at least win the Democratic nomination for governor.

America is headed down a suicidal path ‐ but it’s a subtle invasion. Get all the details in the brand-new book "Stealth Invasion: Muslim Conquest Through Immigration and Resettlement Jihad," available now at the WND Superstore.

"It is the exact same thing as Barack Obama in Chicago in the early 2000s," said Manasseri. "He’s young, attractive, he does not give out a lot of information, he speaks in platitudes about celebrating inclusiveness and diversity."

Sayed is known as a warrior for environmental justice. He talks about "standing up to corporate polluters," and how, in his family, he was taught that having "love and compassion" for the vulnerable are "more important than where you’re from."

"How could any good progressive Democrat vote against that in good conscience?" asks Manasseri.

Sayed is highly educated, a Rhodes scholar who attended Oxford University in 2009 and became a practicing epidemiologist.

#1  ....Hmmm. Might could happen. Huge Muslim voting bloc in SE Michigan, and the Dems are desperate to bring MI back into the fold after the embarrassment of losing them in 2016. They'll work hard to make this happen IF he gets the support of the Party leadership - for all the kumbayah about diversity and opportunity, the Dems there don't seem to be able to tear themselves away from white people for Governor. There's also an under-appreciated but true fact that the rest of the state that isn't Dearborn/Detroit/Ann Arbor/Flint loathes those people and the fact that they pretty much dictate to the surprisingly rural everybody else. Stay tuned...

White Dems are just as tribal as every other Democratic ethnic group. In time, as they are squeezed out of the Democratic party, we'll see them migrate towards the GOP. Unfortunately, they'll bring their socialistic views with them.

Maryam Rajavi and Rudy Giuliani Meet at the NCRI Headquarters in France
[National Council of Resistance of Iran] Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), met Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Friday, June 30, at the NCRI headquarters in Auvers-sur-Oise, northwest of Paris.

Mayor Giuliani pointed to the Iranian regime’s malign activities in the region, stressing that the mullahs are the source instability and crisis in the region, and have kept their grip on power in the past 38 years through widespread repression and blatant disregard for human rights at home and the export of extremism and terrorism abroad.

#3  If I had my way I'd dissolve the California state legislature. They never produce any decent legislation anyway. In a new state constitution I would mandate that all legislation be put before the state's voters in the form of ballot propositions. We already have a procedure for putting such propositions on the ballot after sufficient signatures have been collected via petition. The governor would still propose a budget and he would have three chances to get the voters to approve it. If he failed three times there would be a special election to determine his replacement.

Could Trump Really Be Draining the Swamp?
[WSJ] The water appears to be receding at key Beltway bureaucracies.

The Senate still hasn’t voted on ObamaCare reform, U.S. workers are still waiting for tax cuts to drive economic growth and President of the United States Donald Trump is trading insults with the co-hosts of an MSNBC talk show. Yet Mr. Trump appears to be making progress in what might have seemed the most difficult task given to him by voters in 2016: reducing the power of Washington’s permanent bureaucracy.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson wasn’t exactly dying to move to Washington to run a federal department, but he seems to have warmed to the task. Max Bergmann, a former Obama Administration official now at the leftist Center for American Progress, writes in Politico that the "deconstruction of the State Department is well underway." Discounting for the usual Beltway hyperbole, this probably isn’t as good as it sounds.

All kidding aside, the State Department is one federal agency that was actually contemplated by America’s founders. Conducting foreign policy is an important and necessary task for our central government. But like so much of the Beltway bureaucracy State has been overfunded and undermanaged for years. Now, despite what you may have read about untouchable bureaucrats unaccountable to the public they are supposed to serve, Mr. Tillerson has found ways to clean house, at least according to Mr. Bergmann:

As I walked through the halls once stalked by diplomatic giants like Dean Acheson and James Baker, the deconstruction was literally visible. Furniture from now-closed offices crowded the hallways. Dropping in on one of my old offices, I expected to see a former colleague--a career senior foreign service officer--but was stunned to find out she had been abruptly forced into retirement and had departed the previous week. This office, once bustling, had just one person present, keeping on the lights.

The former Obama appointee is apparently so unnerved by the Trump-Tillerson era at State that he lets slip the fact that the career staff didn’t think much of the previous management either, and that the conservative critique of the department is at least partly true:

When Rex Tillerson was announced as secretary of state, there was a general feeling of excitement and relief in the department. After eight years of high-profile, jet-setting secretaries, the building was genuinely looking forward to having someone experienced in corporate management. Like all large, sprawling organizations, the State Department’s structure is in perpetual need of an organizational rethink. That was what was hoped for, but that is not what is happening. Tillerson is not reorganizing, he’s downsizing.

Do taxpayers dare to dream? As odd as this sounds for regular observers of the federal leviathan, the new boss seems to be imposing the kind of tough measures often seen at struggling companies, but almost never witnessed at government departments that have lost their way:

While the lack of senior political appointees has gotten a lot of attention, less attention has been paid to the hollowing out of the career workforce, who actually run the department day to day. Tillerson has canceled the incoming class of foreign service officers. This as if the Navy told all of its incoming Naval Academy officers they weren’t needed. Senior officers have been unceremoniously pushed out. Many saw the writing on the wall and just retired, and many others are now awaiting buyout offers. He has dismissed State’s equivalent of an officer reserve--retired FSOs, who are often called upon to fill State’s many short-term staffing gaps, have been sent home despite no one to replace them. Office managers are now told three people must depart before they can make one hire.

Perhaps the Tillerson method could work at other agencies too. Mr. Bergmann for his part seems to be disappointed that the un-elected career staff has not been able to impose its will on the duly-elected political leadership:

At the root of the problem is the inherent distrust of the State Department and career officers. I can sympathize with this--I, too, was once a naive political appointee, like many of the Trump people. During the 2000s, when I was in my 20s, I couldn’t imagine anyone working for George W. Bush. I often interpreted every action from the Bush administration in the most nefarious way possible. Almost immediately after entering government, I realized how foolish I had been.

For most of Foggy Bottom, the politics of Washington might as well have been the politics of Timbuktu--a distant concern, with little relevance to most people’s work.

Here’s to making the will of voters more than just a distant concern-- and highly relevant to the work of federal agencies.

Meanwhile over at the Environmental Protection Agency, new boss Scott Pruitt is not just draining the bureaucratic swamp in Washington, he’s taking away the agency’s power to oversee swamps nationwide. The Journal reported on Tuesday:

President Donald Trump’s administration is moving ahead with plans to dismantle another piece of the Obama administration’s environmental legacy, the rule that sought to protect clean drinking water by expanding Washington’s power to regulate major rivers and lakes as well as smaller streams and wetlands.
And now the Journal reports:

President Donald Trump declared a new age of "energy dominance" by the U.S. on Thursday as he outlined plans to roll back Obama era restrictions and regulations meant to protect the environment.

In a speech at the Energy Department, the president promised to expand the country’s nuclear-energy sector and open up more federal lands and offshore sites to oil and natural-gas drilling.

Mr. Trump also celebrated his decision earlier this month to withdraw the U.S. from the 195-country Paris climate accord and the Environmental Protection Agency’s rescindment this week of the Obama administration’s clean-water rules that farmers and business groups found onerous.

"We don’t want to let other countries take away our sovereignty and tell us what to do and how to do it," Mr. Trump said.

Mr. Trump also issued a special permit authorizing the construction of a new pipeline between the U.S. and Mexico that would carry fuels across the border in Texas, the State Department said.

#1  I am surprised that this news leaked out. The stone walling media is appearing to lose its grip on news that they wish to control. Media staff reductions, lost revenue are all good signs of their failures. The Democratic party is the media. Catering to all the fringe groups and creating new ones is a finical disaster. The salad only protects its own. The welfare people have no money to contribute. The prestigious Universities will not have their donations as in the past. Yes, the swamp is draining. They will continue to maintain their shrill attacks in film, theater, and various media but with Trumps invitations to the conservative press media is a death blow. People want to hear good news. People want a strong country with good leadership. The public is starved for good news. So watch as each month the slowly dying gasps of a dying ultra left agenda.

SDF increases conscription campaign in northern Syria
Train 'em all to fight, hardening their communities against attack in the future, not to mention easing the burden on the Kurds to protect them.
[ARA News] According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have increased military conscription in the areas under their control in northern Syria.

"During the reporting period, reports of a large conscription campaign being launched by the Kurdish Self-Administration in SDF-held areas in north-eastern Syria emerged," the UN said.

"The campaign reportedly targets men between 18 ‐ 30 years, irrespective of place of origin and ethnicity and allegedly includes IDPs, even if originating from other governorates. Hundreds of young people have been reportedly recruited over the past few days," the UN office said.

According to the laws of the three local self-administrations of Rojava-Northern Syria [Cizire, Kobani and Efrin], people between 18-30 are conscripted into the self-defence forces, also known as HPX.

More than 500 fighters of the self-defense forces have joined the 3rdphase of the Euphrates Wrath Operation to liberate the city of al-Raqqa in February, the Kurdish news agency ANHA reported.

In an interview with ARA News, Washington-based analyst Nicholas A. Heras, Bacevich Fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), said: "The SDF has entered the phase of its operations that will require more manpower, particularly for providing security in the Northern Syria Federal Region and in holding newly conquered areas from ISIS, whether near Raqqa, or potentially further east in the area of Deir ez-Zor."

"The SDF has growing responsibilities, the Coalition is asking it to do more and more, and as a consequence, the SDF can only keep up with the Coalition demands by increasing mobilization from the population in the Northern Syria Federal Region," he concluded.

Syrian Kurdish officials have said that after Raqqa, it is possible SDF forces will fight ISIS in Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria.

Iraq
Federal Police chief says still has four districts to liberate in Mosul’s Old City
Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A senior Iraqi officer has declared the remaining districts that are still under Islamic State control in Mosul’s Old City.

“The remaining regions for the Federal Police troops to free from IS militants in the Old City include al-Nujeifi, al-Sarai and parts of Lakash and Bab Jadid,” Lt.Gen.Shaker Jawdat, chief of Federal Police, told Sputnik on Saturday.

The four regions, according to Jawdat, are still held by IS. Once liberated, Federal Police will announce accomplishing its goals there.

In a press release, Jawdat revealed death of dozens of militants as his troops advanced to liberate al-Shifa district, a main district in north of Old City.

Battles in al-Shifa district have been ongoing against IS fighters since beginning of June.

On Friday, the Iraqi Joint Operations Command said the army’s elite Counter-Terrorism Service retook Shaarin market, Nabi Girgis and Abd Khoub in the Old City. The forces, according to JOC, consummated the recapture the of al-Farouq area, which falls adjacent to the Nuri al-Kabir Mosque where IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi proclaimed the group’s rule over Iraq in 2014.

The final liberation of Mosul, according to CTS Commander Abdul-Ghani al-Assadi, could be achieved within a few days. Only between 200 and 300 IS fighters were remaining in the city.

Old Mosul residents flee on a road of death

[RUDAW.NET] Hungry, injured, ill civilians are fleeing Old Mosul.

A small girl wears a card with her name and her father’s phone number – so she can be identified if separated from her family, or killed.

The elderly are exhausted. Their children are waiting for a miracle to get them out of this hell. There are thousands still trapped under ISIS rule in the remaining pocket they control in Old Mosul.

According to the Iraqi Migration Ministry, some 900,000 people have been displaced from the city.

in a village, west of Anbar, Sputnik news agency reported.

"IS bully boyz attacked the Iraqi army and the tribal forces in al-Sakra village, west of Haditha town, western Anbar, using armored and booby-trapped vehicles and weapons" Mabrouk Hamid, mayor of Haditha, told Sputnik.

The army and tribal troops thwarted the attack and inflicted huge losses on the enemy, killing twenty bad boys, including suicide kaboomers, and destroying their weapons, Hamid added.

No casualties among civilians and security troops were reported, according to Hamid.

Haditha city is fully controlled by security forces and tribal fighters, however, IS launches attacks there every now and then. The regions in the north of the lake are desert ones with a number of houses that are used by IS bully boyz as hideouts.

Iraqi troops were able to return life back to normal in the biggest cities of Anbar including Fallujah,

Israeli forces enter Jenin to remove monument to terrorist, 6 Palestinians shot during festivities
[IsraelTimes] IDF soldiers dispose of West Bank shrine to ’martyr’ who murdered 22 kids, after Paleostinians ignore Jerusalem’s warnings.

Israeli security forces entered the West Bank city of Jenin Friday to remove a monument to a terrorist who criminal masterminded a notorious 1974 massacre of Israeli school children, sparking festivities in which six Paleostinians were maimed, the army and a local mayor said.

The Jenin municipality last month named a square after "martyr" Khaled Nazzal, who planned the Ma’alot massacre in which Paleostinian faceless myrmidons murdered 22 school children and four adults. It also erected a monument in Nazzal’s honor.

The move sparked a harsh response from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who accused Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial...
of lying about seeking peace and of "poisoning" the minds of young Paleostinians.

Israel reportedly warned the PA that if the monument to Nazzal was not taken down, the IDF would enter Jenin to remove it.

Following the ultimatum the monument was briefly removed, but last week it was reinstalled under an agreement between Abbas’s Fatah party and the mayor of Jenin.

Early on Friday morning, an IDF spokeswoman said Israeli forces "removed a memorial erected to commemorate the terrorist Khaled Nazzal."

During festivities that broke out afterwards, two people were shot with live ammunition and four with rubber bullets, Mohammed Abu Ghali, head of the Jenin municipality, told AFP. One of the young men was at death's door after being shot in the chest, he said.

The incident came as the US has been trying to get Israelis and Paleostinians back to the negotiating table. Israel says Paleostinians glorifying the murder of Israelis is one of the biggest impediments to peace.

Netanyahu has repeatedly expressed his deep skepticism of the possibility of reaching a peace deal at present, but has at the same time voiced his commitment to working with the US on the matter.

#2  ...This was a horrifyingly bad idea from the word go. I have known some folks who have gone through the transgender process, and although they have all been good, decent people, they would NOT have made good soldiers, sailors, airmen, or Marines, no matter how well-intentioned their desire to serve.

Transitioning means - for lack of a better term - rewiring your brain on the fly, no matter how sure you are of what it is you're doing. On top of that, there are physical problems involved (aftereffects of surgery, hormone therapy, etc) that never go away. Putting people like this in a combat zone - and realistically, you know that's where it would have gone eventually - would have led to confusion and casualties. At some point, you would have had people deciding what to send to a firebase on a crowded convoy: medication or munitions...and you would have had people with no skin in the fight whatsoever demanding that they send the medications.

Chaos Actual made the right call, though I wish the President and the JCS had publicly endorsed it as well.

Saudis arrest a third Libyan hard boy

a third Libyan citizen as he was planning to fly out of Jeddah after performing Umrah. The man has been named as 42-year-old Abdul-Ghani Mohammed Ammar Abdullah. There are some suggestions that he is from Misrata or at least that his passport was issued through the the passport office in Misrata. He is said to have arrived in the kingdom in mid-Ramadan.

There has been no statement from the Saudi authorities although one report quotes an unnamed Libyan official saying that the man was arrested on security grounds.

Earlier this week, two men from Zawia were arrested at Jeddah airport as they were preparing to leave after having performed Umrah while a third fled to the Libyan consulate.

There are allegations that the two were involved in the kidnapping of five Egyptian diplomats in January 2014 aimed at forcing the Egyptian authorities to release Zawia’s Islamist militia leader Abu Obaida al-Zawi: he had been arrested on suspicion of being linked to Egyptian holy warriors. The Egyptian authorities let him go in order to secure their diplomats’ freedom.

His name, though, is now on the list of 75 people labelled as hard boyz by the House of Representatives’ defence committee and passed on to Riyadh.

It is meanwhile it is being reported that the Saudis are keeping an eye out for a number of other Libyans whose names they have been given and who are described as holy warriors.

Iranian FM decries France green light to MKO activities
[Iran Press TV] Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has expressed regret that the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) has been given permission to carry out its activities in La Belle France.

The presence and activities of the MKO in La Belle France are regarded as "a moot point" in relations between Tehran and Gay Paree, Zarif told IRIB in an interview published on Saturday, a day after he wrapped up his two-day visit to the French capital.

"During our talks with the French officials, we raised this issue as a moot point in our relations and they also emphasized that they have no connection with this group (MKO)," he said.
He added that the MKO’s terrorist nature is not hidden to anybody, saying all regional and European countries are aware of the group’s acts of terror.

The Iranian foreign minister expressed regret that some "reactionary regimes in the region are once again capitalizing on this group as they did so in the past."
Zarif added that the Islamic Theocratic Republic is aware that Soddy Arabia

has been colluding with the MKO and providing it with financial support since the Iraqi imposed war on Iran in the 1980s.

The Al Saud regime has decided to publicize its cooperation with the terrorist group since last year by attending its meetings, he said.

On Saturday, the MKO terror group held a meeting in Gay Paree, which was attended by some of the former US, European and Saudi officials, including former Saudi spy chief, Prince Turki al-Faisal, who also delivered a speech.

Palestinian Forces Hand Over Most Wanted Fugitive in Ain Hilweh
[AnNahar] A prominent suspect believed to be involved in bombing attack plots targeting Beirut and the southern city of Sidon is in the grip of the Lebanese army and General Security, the National News Agency reported on Saturday.

“An army patrol and the General Security agency received from the Palestinian Forces in the refugee camp of Ain el-Hilweh the “most wanted fugitive known as Khaled Massaad aka al-Sayyed,” said NNA.

Massaad is accused of plotting to carry out bombing attacks during the holy month of Ramadan in Beirut and Sidon.

The handover took place at the army's Ain el-Hilweh checkpoint south of Sidon.

By long-standing convention, the army does not enter Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, where security is managed by joint committees of Palestinian factions.

That has created lawless areas in many camps, and Ain el-Hilweh has gained notoriety as a refuge for extremists and fugitives.
The Times of Israel adds:
Al-Sayyid, who had in the past fought with jihadists in Syria, was handed over to security forces by other Islamists in the camp, according to a Rooters report.

The migrants colonists were detained and transferred to Ras El-Tin naval base, where they received medical care, according to the statement.

The statement did not include information about the destination of the boat, though it was presumably heading for Europe.

In September 2016, Egypt passed a law to combat irregular migration after a boat sank off the country’s Mediterranean coast, killing hundreds of migrants colonists.

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has spoken on multiple occasions about Egypt's ongoing efforts to curb irregular migration from its shores to Europe ‐ a key concern for European countries facing a growing migrant crisis.

'White head' Rocha cocaine kingpin captured in Brazil
[Al Jazeera] One of South America's biggest cocaine kingpins, who evaded police for three decades and even underwent surgery to change his face, has been captured, Brazilian authorities said.

Luiz Carlos da Rocha, nicknamed White Head, was arrested in the western state of Mato Grosso in Sorriso city, the federal police said in a statement on Saturday.

Da Rocha had changed his name to Vitor Luiz de Moraes and undergone plastic surgery to successfully dodge police while continuing to run his international drug business.

His alleged right-hand man was also captured at a separate location during the operation in which police said 150 agents carried out 24 raids, seizing an estimated $10m worth of luxury cars, aircraft, farms and other property.

The name of the operation was "Spectrum", referring in Portuguese to the phantom-like nature of a fugitive "who lived discreetly and in the shadows... evading police attempts for almost 30 years", the police statement said.

In addition to using extreme violence, da Rocha was being protected by forces with heavy caliber weapons, police said.

The captured fugitive is accused of having headed an enormous cocaine network, which included production in the jungles of Bolivia, Colombia and Peru, and continued through to distribution on the continent and as far away as the United States and Europe.

Two LeT militants killed in Kashmir gun battle, Indian forces claim
[DAWN] Indian security forces claim to have rubbed out a top Kashmiri bully boy who was accused of killing six coppers during a seven-hour shootout in the disputed Kashmire region on Saturday.

Bashir Ahmad, alias Bashir Lashkari, was on India's most-wanted list and had a one million rupee (about $15,500)-bounty on his head. Ahmad killed six coppers in an ambush in the southern Anantnag district last month, police and army officials said.

Another bully boy, who police named as Azad Malik, was also killed during Saturday's joint army and police operation in Dailigam village, part of Anantnag.

Two civilians were also killed in the clash and 17 others, who had been trapped inside a house with the bully boys, were rescued, a police front man said.

Lieutenant Colonel Rajesh Kalia, an army front man based in Kashmire's summer capital Srinagar, said the two dead bandidos hard boyz belonged to the Lashkar-e-Taiba
...the Army of the Pure, an Ahl-e-Hadith terror organization founded by Hafiz Saeed. LeT masquerades behind the Jamaat-ud-Dawa facade within Pakistain and periodically blows things up and kills people in India. Despite the fact that it is banned, always an interesting concept in Pakistain, the organization remains an blatant tool and perhaps an arm of the ISI...

Syria harshly criticizes OPCW report on Khan Sheikhun gas attack
[Iran Press TV] Damascus has censured the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for issuing a "false" report on a chemical weapons attack in the province of Idlib two months ago, saying it has been based on testimonies provided by terrorists.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said the OPCW had better avoid using biased and flawed information in preparing its reports on Syria, saying findings of the organization on the April 4 attack in Khan Sheikhun were in fact "the creation of a sick mind."

It called on the OPCW to prepare "impartial and credible reports that have not been subjected to extortions by countries and parties that prevent it from reaching the truth."

The OPCW report, issued on Friday, said that sarin nerve gas was used in the controversial attack in Khan Sheikhun that left over 90 people killed. The organization, however, did not blame any party to the conflict for the attack.

The United States and allies in the Middle East swiftly accused Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Terror of Aleppo ...
of having ordered the attack, saying Russian fighter jets also contributed to the bombardment. Syria and Russia denied any involvement. Moscow said at the time that holy warriors supported by the West could have stored chemicals in a depot that was targeted by Russian and Syrian planes.

The incident, not a first of its kind in Syria’s six-year conflict, sparked fresh concerns of a Western military intervention in Syria and even a full-scale confrontation between the United States and Russia. In an apparent response to the Idlib attack, the US military even fired missiles from a warship in the Mediterranean on an airfield in western Syria, killing several Syrian troops.

Four killed in bomb blast in northwestern Pakistan
[Iran Press TV] At least four people bit the dust after a bomb, concealed in a plastic bag, went off in a semi-autonomous tribal area in northwestern Pakistain, near the Afghan border, officials say.

The incident occurred in Khyber Agency

, one of the seven tribal areas in Pakistain's Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), on Saturday, when security personnel spotted a suspicious plastic bag left unattended near a security checkpoint.

"As the security officials were inspecting the plastic bag, the bomb concealed in it went off, killing a solider, two paramilitary troops and a civilian,’ a local administration official said on condition of anonymity. Other local security officials also confirmed the incident.

No individual or group has grabbed credit for the deadly kaboom.

Threat continues to reside across the border in Afghanistan, Pak army chief claims
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Mighty Pak Army chief of staff General Javed Qamar Bajwa has claimed that threats being posed to Pakistain continue to reside across the border in Afghanistan.

Gen. Bajwa made the remarks during a meeting with the tribal elders in Parachinar, days after a deadly kaboom destroyed the area, leaving scores of people dead or maimed.

He said that threat continues to reside across the border in Afghanistan with ISIS gaining strength there.

"We need to remain united, steadfast, prepared and vigilant against this threat which has an agenda of exploiting sectarian fault-line," he added.

The latest remarks by the Mighty Pak Army chief came as both Kabul and Islamabad accuse each other of remaining reckless to act against the sanctuaries being used on their respective soil for planning attacks.

The Afghan officials have long been insisting that the leadership councils of the Taliban

Turkey arrests scores of ISIS suspects in country-wide counter-terror raids
[RUDAW.NET] An estimated 190 suspects linked to ISIS have been arrested across Turkey in June alone, according to state-run Anadolu Agency, citing security officials.

Twenty of 188 suspects, including foreigners, were remanded in custody to be tried on various charges.

Some planned attacks were foiled during counter-terrorism raids across the country's population centres of Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, and Gaziantep, the agency added.

On June 19, a Turkish court sentenced two Iraqi nationals for links with ISIS, according to a police source.

Four Azerbaijani nationals and one Bosnian were arrested on June 15 while trying to cross into Turkey from war-torn Syria.

The bulk of the detainees were wanted by Interpol.

In the course of Turkish security operations, a senior ISIS member named Abu Hanzala was arrested.

Weapons, documents, and ammunition were also seized during the raids.

Libyan politicians in call for Jewish community to be allowed to return
[Libya Herald] In a surprise move, a senior member of the so-called National Salvation Government of Khalifa Ghwell has announced that Libya’s Jewish community has the right to return as well as be compensated for any losses its members may have suffered.
Yeah, buddy! If I was a Jew I'd be packing my bags now!
Compensate? A generous thought, but with what funds would that happen? At any rate, the Libyan Jewish community, which dates back to the third century BC, mostly left for Israel, Rome, and North America. The last Libyan Jew left in 2003.
The call was made by Mohammed Ali Triki, a top official in Ghwell’s "foreign ministry", on Thursday at a three-day conference held on the Greek island of Rhodes. It was organised to mark the 50th anniversary of the last exodus of Jews from Libya as a result of the 1967 Six-Day War. Libya’s Jewish community was part of the national fabric, Triki was quoted as saying, adding that the national salvation government would enable them to return.

The right-to-return was supported by Omar Gawairi, the Beida-based government’s information chief, who was also attending.

Ghwell is reported today to have angrily denied reports that Triki was speaking on his behalf in Greece. He also claimed he had no prior knowledge of the Rhodes conference.

Announced three months ago and organised by Rafael Luzon, head of Libyan Jewry abroad, its aims was reconciliation between the exiled Libyan Jewish community and their original home country.

Although it was not officially supported by the Israeli government, one Israeli minister attended ‐ Ayoob Qara, the Arab Druze politician who is minister of communications.

There are no thought to be almost no Jews left in Libya.
None. See comment above. But getting those clever, law-abiding Jews back to jump start the economy is all the rage -- at least in Spain and Portugal.

Zimbabwe: 'Go and Herd Cattle,' Mugabe, 93, Tells Unemployed Zim Youth
[All Africa] Zim-bob-wean President Bob Muggsy Mugabe
Octogenarian President-for-Life of Zim-bob-we who turned the former Breadbasket of Africa into the African Basket Case...
, 93, on Friday told unemployed youths to "go and herd cattle" in the rural areas amid a critical shortage of jobs in the southern African country.

During his election campaign of the 2013 polls, Mugabe promised Zim-bob-weans that his government would create more than 2.2 million jobs.

However,
ars longa, vita brevis...
latest statistics indicated that Zim-bob-we had a formal unemployment rate of around 80%.

Addressing his supporters at a rally at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo, Mugabe said Zim-bob-wean youths who had no jobs should look for ideas so that they became entrepreneurs.

"We always hear youths from the (opposition Movement for Democratic Change) MDC saying that they do not have jobs. I say to them come to me and I will laugh at them first before telling them to go and herd cattle," said Mugabe speaking in the vernacular Shona language.

UN peacekeepers hit by new allegations of sex abuse
[Al Jazeera] At least 55 UN peacekeepers are accused of sexual exploitation and abuse of civilians across UN missions around the globe since January 2017, new UN data show.

Data released late on Friday night also showed a new case of sexual exploitation was registered against Republic of Congo peacekeepers in the Central African Republic, less than 10 days after the UN announced the withdrawal of Congolese troops from the UN's mission over a string of allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse.

On Saturday, a UN spokesperson confirmed that a new allegation had been registered against the Congolese but declined to clarify if the recorded case of sexual exploitation took place before or after the stated withdrawal of the battalion.

"The allegation was recorded in June [...] an investigative process has been launched as per standard procedures," Sophie Boudre, a spokesperson for Department of Peacekeeping operations (DPKO), told Al Jazeera.

Home Front: Culture Wars
A man some call Soetoro warns Americans about too much patriotism ‐ on July 4th weekend!
[The American Mirror] While most Americans are gathering with family and community this weekend to celebrate the most exceptional country in the history of the world, Mr. Hope and Change is halfway around the world talking doom and gloom -- and criticizing his successor.

Barack Obama visited Indonesia this weekend, and in a series of appearances, attacked love of country and the policies of Donald Trump.

The Guardian reports:
The former US president said some countries had adopted "an aggressive kind of nationalism" and "increased resentment of minority groups", in a speech in Indonesia on Saturday that could be seen as a commentary on the US as well as Indonesia.

"It’s been clear for a while that the world is at a crossroads. At an inflection point," Obama said, telling a Jakarta crowd stories of how much the capital had improved since he lived there as a child.

But he said that increased prosperity had been accompanied by new global problems, adding that as the world confronts issues ranging from inequality to terrorism, some countries ‐ both developed and less developed ‐ had adopted a more aggressive and isolationist stance.

"If we don’t stand up for tolerance and moderation and respect for others, if we begin to doubt ourselves and all that we have accomplished, then much of the progress that we have made will not continue," he said.

"What we will see is more and more people arguing against democracy, we will see more and more people who are looking to restrict freedom of the press, and we’ll see more intolerance, more tribal divisions, more ethnic divisions, and religious divisions and more violence," Obama asserted.

While former presidents rarely criticize their successors at home, Obama took the unusual step of going to a foreign country to do it.

Iraq
Iraqi VP: US needs to step it up amid international power vacuum
[RUDAW.NET] Iraqi Vice President Ayad Allawi said that the United States has abandoned its traditional global leadership role.

"There is a vacuum in the overall leadership in the world," Allawi told CNN’s Ace newshound Christiane Amanpour in an interview that aired on Friday.

"The Americans need to get back to their role as an international power, an important international power. "

The rise of ISIS in Iraq and Syria three years ago has caused major instability in the region, but with support from Iranian backed paramilitaries and the US-led coalition in fighting the murderous Moslem group, ISIS has almost been wiped out in Iraq.

Despite the military victory, Allawi stated that the US did not have a broader strategy for battling extremism. He said the US was "absent" and lacked "clear cut policies."

"To me, there is no international strategy ‐ no strategy for the alliances that are fighting and have helped us in this part of the fight," he said.

US National Security Advisor H. R. McMaster, speaking in Washington on Wednesday, had insisted that the US strategy is working well within the region.

"We are being successful with our partners in Syria. We are being successful with our Iraqi partners," he said, noting, "There's still a lot of work to be done. "

But Allawi believes that the US has abandoned its global leadership role.

"There is no clear-cut policies where to go and what to do," Allawi said. "Even for Iraq, it's still premature. I think they are still deliberating on a kind of a strategy for Iraq. Nothing yet has materialized. "

With djinn-infested Mosul
... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn...
almost completely liberated from ISIS and operations advancing in Syria to retake Raqqa, there is hope of more stability regionally in the near future.

However,
the man who has no enemies isn't anybody and has never done anything...
Allawi said that Iraq has received intelligence that ISIS is attempting to "forge an alliance" with al-Qaeda. Allawi revealed that discussions in both Iraq and Syria are taking place between former al-Qaeda members who never joined forces with ISIS and that it will be "the unification of evil forces. "

The Grand Turk
Erdogan slams opposition as ‘justice march’ nears Istanbul
[IsraelTimes] Thousands have been marching in solidarity with journalist-turned-politician Enis Berberoglu, sentenced to 25 years in jail for leaking classified info to a newspaper.

Ottoman Turkish President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him...
on Saturday accused the country’s main opposition party of siding with terrorism, as a three-week "march for justice" led by its chief neared its ending point of Istanbul.

Some analysts have seen the 450-kilometer (280 miles) trek from Ankara to Istanbul led by Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu as a significant challenge to Erdogan but the Ottoman Turkish strongman has regarded it with disdain.

Kilicdaroglu began the march on June 15 after former journalist turned CHP politician Enis Berberoglu was sentenced to 25 years in jail for leaking classified information to a newspaper.

Marching without party insignia and simply a sign with the word "justice" in Ottoman Turkish, he has been followed by thousands every day and plans to end the march on July 9 with a mass rally outside Berberoglu’s prison in the Istanbul district of Maltepe.

"If you start protests to protect Lions of Islam and those who support terrorism -- when it did not occur to you to take part in anti-terror demonstrations -- then you cannot convince anyone that your objective is justice," Erdogan said.

The president told a meeting of his ruling party that the line represented by the CHP "had gone beyond being a political opposition and taken on a different proportion."

Accusing the CHP of sympathizing with Kurdish gunnies and the alleged criminal mastermind of the July 15 failed coup, he said the road taken by Kilicdaroglu was "the way to Qandil and Pennsylvania".

The leadership of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) is based in the Qandil mountain of northern Iraq while the alleged coup criminal mastermind, the preacher Fethullah Gulen
... a Turkish preacher living in Pennsylvania whom the current govt of Turkey considers responsible for all the ills afflicting Turkey and possibly the entire world...
, is based in Pennsylvania. He denies the allegations.

The march by Kilicdaroglu has rallied supporters concerned by the extent of the crackdown after the coup which has seen tens of thousands locked away
Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw!
and even more lose their jobs.

The opposition leader was Saturday walking through the Akyazi district of Sakarya province on day 17 of the march, heading towards the town of Sakarya from where he will have a walk of around 150 kilometers (90 miles) to Istanbul.

Analysis: Rome mayor's anti-migrant stance signals a shift to the right for the Five Star Movement
22 June
[TheLocal.it] Rome mayor Virginia Raggi has dramatically changed her tune on migration in recent weeks, in a shift to the right echoed by the Five Star Movement party's leader Beppe Grillo. The shift gives an insight into how both party politics and the migrant situation in Italy's cities have changed over the past year, writes migration researcher Nando Sigona.

The letter to the ministry is seen as part of a strategic alignment of the M5S towards more traditional right-wing politics. Other signals of this shift include migrants with insecure legal status being forcibly evicted from squats, tougher anti-begging measures introduced in Rome and a call by Beppe Grillo for Roma camps to be closed down.

[TheLocal.ch] The Swiss federal government has launched a period of consultation on proposed new legislation that would toughen penalties for terrorists and those supporting terror organizations. The measures will replace the current temporary ban on terror organizations including Al-Qaida and Islamic State with new, more specific, legislation making it a criminal offence to recruit people for a terror group, receive terrorist training or travel abroad for the purposes of terrorism.

According to intelligence figures up until this May 65 people have left Switzerland to join terror groups abroad, with an additional 23 unconfirmed cases, said news agencies. Among those 23 are thought to have died and an estimated 14 have returned.

Interviewed by the authorities, the man said he was having a paranoid episode and was calling upon God to help him, reported 24 Heures. Charged with making threats causing public alarm, the man has been released from custody pending a hearing. Examined by a doctor, he was judged to be neither a flight risk nor a threat, said the paper.

Norwegian Muslim plans liberal mosque in Oslo
20 June

[TheLocal.no] A new, gay-friendly mosque planned in Oslo will allow female imams and men and women praying together. The mosque, which will be located in the centre of the Norwegian capital, will be called Masjid al-Nisa’ (The Women’s Mosque), reports media Vårt Land. Via the organisation Skeiv Verden (Offbeat World), Thee Yezen al-Obaide has also set up an informal network for gay Muslims in Norway, he said. The project is still in its initial stages, but its founder said he hopes to be able to open the mosque next year.

A liberal mosque with a similar taboo-breaking concept opened last week in Berlin, with a female imam and women and men praying side by side. Scandinavia's first female-led mosque held its first Friday prayers in Copenhagen in August 2016. Unlike al-Obaide’s and the Berlin mosque, the Mariam Mosque in Copenhagen is open only to women.

China, the United States, Canada, Germany, Belgium and Denmark are currently the only countries with female imams.

Ramadan prayers at Catholic site spark controversy in Granada
13 June
[TheLocal.es] At sunset on Saturday evening dozens of Muslims from across Spain’s southern city of Granada gathered in a park in the city and prayed together before breaking their daily Ramadan fast.
The gathering was sanctioned by authorities at City Hall and welcomed by the Socialist mayor Francisco Cuenca as an act demonstrating Granada as a “city of co-existence and tolerance”. But the chosen place for the prayers – in the Jardines del Triunfo – provoked outrage from some quarters because it is the site of a Virgin Mary statue that is revered by Roman Catholics in the city.

"Mr. Paco Cuenca confuses tolerance and religious respect with provocation. Call for Muslim Prayers at the Virgin of Triumph ??" tweeted Luis Salvador, an MP from Ciudadanos party representing Granada.

Granada was the seat of Islamic rule for almost eight hundred years until the reconquest under the Catholic King Fernando and Queen Isabel in 1492

Caribbean-Latin America
Mexico: 19 gang members killed in overnight clashes
[Al Jazeera] At least 19 people have been killed in festivities involving gunnies and security forces in the gang-plagued northwestern Mexican state of Sinaloa, authorities said.

Sinaloa has seen a dramatic spike of homicides following the capture and extradition of convicted drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.

The violence began with a shooting on Friday that killed two men near a department store in the town of Villa Union, about 24km southeast of the beach resort of Mazatlan.
Mexico: Outrage grows over record murder rate

Officials attributed it to warring narco gang members responsible for recent violence in the state, which is home to Guzman's Sinaloa cartel.

"We believe it has to do with the transport of drugs and the fight for terrain, for the areas that these groups are fighting over," Genaro Robles Casillas, the Sinaloa state public security secretary, said at a news conference.

Police were alerted by emergency calls, and municipal officers encountered the suspected attackers as they were riding in several pickup trucks.

A fierce gunbattle broke out in which police potted 17 suspects, officials said. Five municipal coppers were maimed, but reported in stable, pH balanced condition.

At the scene of the clash, four vehicles, 15 rifles and seven handguns were found.

Terror Networks
Updated Ramadan Rage 2017 Final Death Count: 1,639 in About 30 Countries, over half by ISIS affiliates
Both articles have considerably more data analysis at the links. The bad guys have been busy being holier than thou during their buy one/get one free holy month.
[Breitbart] The final fatality tally for jihadi attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan increased to 1,639, primarily fueled by victims who succumbed to their injuries, reveals an updated Breitbart News count of terror incidents during the period.

With a total of 3,343 casualties, including 1,704 injuries, Ramadan 2017 is one of the bloodiest holy months in recent history. The number of deaths this year marked a nearly four-fold increase from the estimated 421 people killed by Islamic extremists last year.

There were nearly 160 terror incidents in about 30 predominantly Muslim countries this year, including one jihadi attack in the United States.

Soon after the holiest month for Muslims ended last Saturday, Breitbart News reported that jihadist organizations had killed 1,627 people during Ramadan.

However, after taking into account people who succumbed to their injuries throughout the month and government entities changing the casualty count after Breitbart News initially documented the attacks, this news outlet has determined the final updated tally to be 3,343 casualties (1,639 killed, 1,704 injured).

Breitbart Analysis: Islamic State Killed over Half of Ramadan Jihad Victims in 2017

[Breitbart] The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL), including its Boko Haram affiliate, proved to be the most prolific and bloodiest jihadi organization during this year’s Muslim holy month of Ramadan, responsible for at least 67 terror incidents that resulted in at least 875 fatalities and 577 injuries, according to a database compiled by Breitbart News.

ISIS repeatedly called on its sympathizers and followers to carry out violent attacks during Islam’s holiest month — urging them to wage an “all-out war” on civilians in the West at the start of Ramadan.

Islamic State terrorists ended up carrying out more attacks and executing more people than any other jihadi organization.

Meanwhile, the Taliban and al-Qaeda-linked Haqqani Network was behind the deadliest attack of the holy month that left at least 150 people dead and more than 300 wounded in the Afghan capital of Kabul on May 31.

The Pentagon has deemed the Haqqani Network as the “primary threat” facing U.S.-NATO-led coalition troops in Afghanistan.

During the holy month, ISIS carried out attacks nearly every day in about all corners of the world, including the West.

Breitbart News data reveals that ISIS is behind more than 50 percent of the total 1,639 Ramadan fatalities.

Moreover, the figures show that the jihadi group is linked to at least 67 of the estimated 160 Ramadan terror incidents (nearly 40 percent), more than any other terrorist organization.

Taliban terrorists are believed to have carried out at least 15 incidents resulting in 276 deaths and 441 injuries.

Al-Qaeda, including its Somalia-based al-Shabaab affiliate, are reportedly behind at least five terror incidents that yielded 80 deaths and 43 injuries.

Breitbart News was unable to determine the name of the jihadi group behind an estimated 66 terror incidents that resulted in 327 deaths and 379 injuries, which means the named jihadi groups could be responsible for more than the stated casualties.

The total of 1,452 ISIS-linked Ramadan casualties amounts to more than 40 percent of the overall 3,343 (1,639 deaths and 1,704 injuries) that occurred during the holy month.

ISIS managed to carry out its first attack on Iranian soil during this year’s Ramadan on June 7, killing at least twelve and injuring 46 others at the Islamic Republic’s parliament and the shrine of its revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

It was a significant victory for ISIS, which had long been threatening to attack the Shiite powerhouse. The attack also fell on Ramadan, a time when martyrdom and jihad are especially valued.

Islamic extremist groups such as ISIS perceive Ramadan as a time when martyrdom and jihad are doubly rewarded in paradise, prompting a spike in the terrorist attacks during the period every year.

According to Breitbart News’ database, jihadists affiliated with the terrorist group carried out Ramadan attacks from London, England to Marawi, Philippines, and various regions in between, including Africa, home to ISIS’ Boko Haram wing.

Consistent with other years, the deadliest regions during this year’s holy month were the Middle East (765 murders, 526 injuries) and Southwest Asia (442 murders, 865 injuries), including Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.

Nearly three-quarters of all Ramadan fatalities took place in the Middle East and Southwest Asia, mainly in war-ravaged Iraq and Afghanistan.

#3  So they wage Jihad against the infidel by killing other Muslims???

Another perfect example of the logic of the religion, based upon the ravings of a schizophrenic serial killer and serial child molester.

What do you expect from a religion based upon the actions of a man like that?

And oh by the way, if he was a prophet, did he ever perform a miracle or actually prophesize something truthfully? Nope he didn't so why do they call him a prophet. Jeremiah had more prophesy in his little finger than all of Islam.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Two errant projectiles from Syria fell inside Israel Saturday p.m.; IDF retaliates
[Ynet] Two projectiles fell in the northern Israeli Golan Heights on Saturday evening, the 17th and 18th such instance this week of spillover from the civil war in Syria. No one was hurt.

In response to the spillover fire, the IDF attacked a cannon belonging to the Syrian army. The Lebanese Al Mayadeen TV network, which is affiliated with the Assad regime and Hezbollah, reported the Israeli retaliation targeted a position of the Syrian army near the Naba'a al-Fawar base.

The projectiles, the result of internal fighting in Syria, fell between Quneitra and the Valley of Tears, the same area where most of the projectiles fell over the past week.

They landed in "no man's land" between the two border fences--the Syrian and Israeli--closer to the Syrian fence.

British charity boss who fell for a bogus Calais refugee in fear of her life: Married mother-of-two travelled to the Jungle to help migrants... but had fling with 'Syrian' who tried to burn down her HQ
01/07/17
[DailyMail] From the moment it was launched in 2015, on a wave of heart-warming largesse, the British charity Care4Calais became a magnet for those determined to ease the plight of refugees stranded in northern France. Volunteers pitching up at the charity’s usually bustling warehouse near Sangatte in Calais this week, however, would have found the rented building — still stuffed to the rafters with bags of donations from kind-hearted Brits — virtually abandoned. A sign is taped to the door, declaring operations ‘on the ground’ have been suspended. The reason for halting their urgent humanitarian work? According to a statement on the charity’s website, it’s down to an ‘immediate security issue linked to a former volunteer’. But, as the Mail can reveal, the true story behind the temporary closure of this controversial charity is far more disturbing than that statement implies.

Deaths by US police gunfire to reach 1,000 in 2017: Report
[Iran Press TV] The US police will have killed some 1,000 people by the end of this year, says a report based on the record of the first half of 2017 as well as the past years’ counts.

So far this year, police forces in the United States have shot 492 people dead, The Washington Post reported on Saturday.

The corpse count on June 16 this year is identical to last year's tally, said the report, speculating that American police will tread the same path.

"These numbers show us that officer-involved shootings are constant over time," Geoffrey Alpert, a criminologist at the University of South Carolina, told the Post, which has been tracking US police fatal shootings since 2015. "Some places go up, some go down, but its averaging out. This is our society in the 21st century."

India-Pakistan
US decision will not affect legitimate struggle for Kashmir's freedom: Syed Salahuddin
File under You don't pull on Superman's cape, etc.
[DAWN] Hizbul Mujahideen's supreme commander Syed Salahuddin
...the aging, morbidly obese chief of Hizbul Mujaheddin and the titular head of the United Jihad Council in idyllic Kashmire. Originally owned body and theoretical soul by Jamaat-e-Islami he and his organization are currently controlled by Pakistain's ISI. Salahuddin's hobbies include crocheting doilies shaped like the Taj Mahal, combing his enormous beard, and eating....
said the US decision to designate him as "global terrorist" will not make any difference to the "legitimate" struggle he led for "freedom" in India-held Kashmire.

Salahuddin, the chief of the largest and mainly indigenous Lion of Islam group that fights against security forces in India-held Kashmire, was reacting to the US State Department's announcement of designating him as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT), at a presser on Saturday at the Central Press Club in Muzaffarabad.

Earlier, he received a warm welcome in the city and at many spots people showered rose petals on his vehicle. He, in his traditional appearance, rose out of the sunroof of his vehicle and waved to the crowd and made victory signs.

At the presser, he termed the Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
administration’s move as "idiotic" taken to "please and satisfy" Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi "without any reasoning and grounds."

He was designated as global hard boyz hours ahead of a meeting between Modi and US President Donald Trump.

"We have slapped this idiotic step back on the face of both leaders to make the world understand that this foolishness can neither weaken our resolve, nor stop the freedom struggle and the target-oriented actions by the freedom fighters," he said at the crowded presser.

"Wars are fought with courage and spirit that makes you use even a stone as an atomic bomb," he said, referring to the stone pelting by unarmed youth in the held Kashmire that has been giving a tough time to the entire occupation machinery.

2,000 evacuated in scare at main Paris airport
Sign of the times. President Macron needs to prove himself on this issue or Madame LePen will be his successor.
[IsraelTimes] At least 2,000 people were evacuated from Gay Paree’s main airport on Saturday and eight flights canceled after an individual went into a "restricted area" without going through security controls, airport sources said.

"We had to evacuate to ’decontaminate’ the zone, meaning check to make sure no object had been left," said one of tuhe sources.

The evacuations were from a zone in terminal 2F at the Charles de Gaulle airport that passengers access after passing through security and before boarding, a second source said.

"Police searched the terminal from top to bottom and found no suspicious object," the source added.

The incident also led to about 20 flights being delayed.

Charles de Gaulle airport is Europe’s second-biggest airport, with some 180,000 passengers transiting through one of its eight terminals each day.
