South Africa’s second-largest opposition party, the Economic Freedom Fighters, will march against Israel on Thursday to protest against the 100th Anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
The EFF, well-known for its socialist leanings and for its leaders and members wearing scarlet overalls, vowed to turn the country’s capital Tshwane (formerly Pretoria), red as they march on the Israeli Embassy, with hundreds of the party’s members and supporters expected to attend.
On Twitter, the party’s charismatic leader, Julius Malema encouraged his followers to attend and "occupy the Israeli Embassy."
"We love self-determination, peace and justice, democracy is our nickname. We are not free until Palestine is free, let’s occupy [the] Israel Embassy," he said.
Get a load of the sympathetic-as-possible pic the shithead apologists at the L.A. Times use for Rattner...
Natasha Henstridge was watching a movie on Brett Ratner’s couch when she fell asleep. She was a 19-year-old fashion model; he was an up-and-coming music video director in his early 20s. They had been hanging out in front of the TV with friends at his New York apartment.
But when Henstridge woke up, the others had left. She was alone with Ratner. She got up to leave, Henstridge said, but he blocked the doorway with his body and wouldn’t budge. He began touching himself, she said, then forced her to perform oral sex.
"He strong-armed me in a real way. He physically forced himself on me," she said. "At some point, I gave in and he did his thing."

Since all of these are well known in Hollywood I suspect a number of folks are freaked out about now hoping the trend dies out before their name comes up.

[Breitbart] Judge Roy Moore holds a commanding lead in the Alabama Senate race and has "united" local Republicans behind him, according to a poll released Tuesday ‐ data that crushes the establishment narrative that Moore is a divisive figure who may botch a winnable election.
The poll, first reported by Politico, was put out in a polling memo by the McConnell-backed Senate Leadership Fund which campaigned vigorously for Moore’s primary rival Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL). But, despite warnings from establishment voices that Moore was too extreme and could cost the GOP a safe seat, the poll shows the exact opposite.
The Axis Research poll shows the race is looking "less and less competitive" and gives Moore a 17-point lead over Democratic challenger Doug Jones.
"Not only is nearly half of the electorate (49%) DEFINITELY voting for Roy Moore, the data shows Moore has united the Republican Party following the Republican primary and the Republican run-off, and earns strong support throughout the conservative coalition," the memo says.

Weren't these same polls telling us Moore was trailing badly just two weeks ago? These polls botched / purposefully got wrong the Brexit and Trump victories and are worth dog shit.

Amazing what happens when people have candidates with leadership to vote for.
They may not like all the opinions but they sure like consistency and predictability.
One way of ensuring that they cannot be bribed or make it obvious if they go "washington" AKA corrupted by deep-state
Too many people in this country don't know history. Americans, in general, prefer to think about the future.
[Breitbart] Tuesday on MSNBC "Velshi & Ruhle," discussing White House chief of staff John Kelly’s comments on Fox News about Confederate monuments, host of "News One Now" Roland Martin said "too many people in this country who are white" didn’t know history and wanted to "somehow glorify these Confederate leaders."
Martin said, "I’m not going to allow four stars stuck on stupid to simply go on. Here’s a man who’s utterly clueless. For him to say, ’Well, we could have compromised’‐really? We did compromise. It was a thing called United States Constitution, and you know what that said? If you’re a black, you’re three-fifths of a human."
Pathetic, but typical of those who don't know history.
He continued, "I need John Kelly to actually go back and read a history book that my 12-year-old nieces are reading right now, because clearly, he fell asleep in history."
One hopes they will read all the chapters, rather than fixating on a single highlight box as their uncle did.

So many ignorant people misunderstand the 3/5s Compromise. Counting slaves as 3/5 of a person reduced the voting power of the slave states and left the voting power of the slaves (none) unchanged.

I suggest Roland travel to the slave coast of W. Africa and learn the real history of slavery. I lived there for 2 years and certain tribes STILL blame other tribes for capturing and selling them.
John Kelly's pinky toe knows more history than Roland will eve know.

[Breitbart] The Algemeiner reports: Hamas leaders newly returned from an official visit to Iran have hailed their restored ties with the Tehran regime, praising the Islamic Republic’s "making no secret" of the "exceptional support" it provides to the Palestinian terrorist organization.
In an interview with the Qatari-financed Al Jazeera broadcaster last week, Saleh al Arouri ‐ the deputy head of the Hamas political bureau who led the delegation to Iran ‐ explained, "[I]t is well known that Iran supported the Lebanese resistance, until the Israeli occupation was driven out."
Iran "supports the resistance in Palestine as well," al-Arouri said, in remarks translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). "They make no secret of this. They give us exceptional support. The resistance is in dire need of this to be able to confront the aggression of the Israeli entity."
[PJ] Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) has been trying unsuccessfully to get a hearing on Russia, Manafort and the Clintons for months because Special Counsel Robert Mueller has a major conflict of interest in his Russia probe that casts into doubt his ability to conduct the investigation fairly. He vented his frustration on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Monday evening.
Manafort is alleged to have laundered $18 million of the $75 million that flowed through his offshore accounts. Rohrabacher pointed out that this is chump change compared to the Clintons' money grubbing.
"What about Hillary, who got 150 million dollars for the Clinton Foundation and Bill Clinton, who got 500 thousand dollars in his pocket by these very same Russian oligarchs?" the congressman asked, referring to the massive kickbacks the Clintons allegedly received while the Uranium One deal was being negotiated.
"And guess who was supposed to investigate that?" he added. "Mr. Mueller himself! He was the director of the FBI!"
Rohrabacher told Carlson about the FBI informer who had been part of an FBI probe of the corruption surrounding the deal and who was placed on a gag order. "Mueller kept him under a gag order all this time, although no charges were ever filed against the Clintons," Rohrabacher complained.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has a major conflict of interest in his Russia probe that casts into doubt his ability to conduct the investigation fairly
Yes, but what can be done to obtain a fair investigation? IMO, Mueller was put in place for several reasons: 1. Comey was ticked off by Trump and decided to have a snit, 2. Mueller was put in place by the Deep State to block Trump and set the table for a knee-capping and possibly a later impeachment, 3. Put in place to slow Trump's agenda--a bottleneck, and 4. To provide protection for former admin. and current Deep State members.

[Daily Wire] Employees within the Democratic National Committee are looking for new employees in the Technology Department. However, the DNC is apparently not interested in your resume if you happen to be a white male.
In an email issued to DNC insiders on Monday, Data Services manager Madeleine Leader announced that the Technology Department is looking to fill several positions and asked interested parties to forward the openings to their colleagues.
She included the following caveat:
I personally would prefer that you not forward to cisgender straight white males, since they're already in the majority.
In response to this email, an anonymous DNC source told The Daily Wire the following:
Clearly the DNC is doubling down on a failed strategy that has alienated staffers and voters alike. We want to be judged based on the quality of our work, not on identity politics. How can we trust the leadership of the DNC if they don’t even trust us?
The Daily Wire contacted Ms. Leader about the contents of her email, but she declined to comment.
After the latest scandals to plague the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 presidential election, the new leadership under Tom Perez and Keith Ellison (D-MN) seek to rebrand the party as a more inclusive and welcoming community. Unfortunately, this email doesn't exactly help their case.

Oh, this is just the appetizer. The shadow of that statement is that the current serving members of the current down group, white dudes who like ladies, will be at first passively then aggressively forced out to make room for the current up groups.
Following that purge, the next down group is likely white women who like guys and have not virtue signaled past level 14, or Asian guys who like gals, whatever the purge demands this cycle of volcanic sacrifices.
Then, imagine the toxicity of that workforce culture. Going to work everyday, wondering if you are the next to be shat upon all day until you quit or have a heart attack. Even the high level Pokeman SJW! monsters will wonder if a long knife is behind the curtains.
[Townhall] "Shout 'Allahu Akbar,' because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers."
Who knew hijacker Mohammed Atta's parting words, discovered in his journal after the 9/11 attacks, would become a national punchline? The louder and more frequently jihadists around the globe shriek their signature battle cry, the more fervently multicultural apologists deny its meaning. They've transformed the Islamic supremacists' obvious and explicit call for violence into a bland utterance of peace as indiscernible and nonsensical as "Aloha Snackbar."
With blood still fresh on the pavement in Manhattan after Monday's outbreak of Allahu Akbar-itis that took at least eight innocent lives, Palestinian-American propagandist and Hamas cheerleader Linda Sarsour tweeted:
"Every believing Muslim says Allahu Akbar every day during prayers. We cannot criminalize 'God is great.'"
Rice University sociologist Dr. Craig Considine mourned: "It begins. CNN reports murderer said "Allahu Akbar." Queue the Islamophobia."
And confused former director of national intelligence James Clapper mused: 'It's hard to comprehend...what moves a human being to do that to another human being."
Instead of striking fear, "Allahu Akbar!" has unleashed collective foolishness.
"Allahu Akbar!" screamed Amor Ftouhi just five months ago at Bishop Airport in Flint, Michigan, before stabbing a police officer in the neck.

[IsraelTimes] Islamic Jihad chief Batsh vows to build another passage into Israel in order to snag bargaining chips for a prisoner swaps
Senior Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... leader Khaled al-Batsh said Tuesday that the attack tunnel stretching from Gazoo into Israeli territory that was blown up by the IDF the previous day had been built by his group for the purpose of kidnapping Israeli soldiers.

In a briefing to reporters Wednesday, a senior IDF officer warned that the operation on Monday, Oct. 30, which destroyed a Jihad Islamic terror tunnel, may not be over. He updated the casualties sustained by the terrorist group as 14 members dead and five still missing in the wrecked tunnel.
[PJMedia] The United Nations ...boodling on the grand scale... has made a deal with the Paleostinians to fund a $65 million legal pogrom directed at Israel. The party on the Paleostinian side was referred to as the "Government of the State of Paleostine."
More specifically, the "United Nations System in the occupied Paleostinian territory" plans to pay eight UN bodies $64,838,510 between the years of 2018 and 2022 to hunt down individual Israelis and to smear Israel as a criminal state.
The eight UN bodies or agencies to receive the funds are:
1. Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights
2. UNICEF (the children's fund)
3. The UN Development Program
4. UN Women
5. UNESCO
6. UN Habitat
7. The World Health Organization
8. UNRWA (the Paleostinian refugee agency)
Except for UNESCO, which the United States no longer supports, 22% of the money will come from American taxpayers.
The deal, first signed and disseminated in Arabic on June 15, 2017, is part of the "UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) for the occupied Paleostinian territory for 2018-2022."
Lawfare at the UN in Israel's case goes by the stage name of "accountability." It includes accusing Israel of war crimes, apartheid, and crimes against humanity; sending spurious cases to the International Criminal Court; engaging in boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) campaigns to destroy the economic well-being of Israel; and making false accusations of violations of fabricated "international law" -- in particular criminalizing Israel's right of self-defense. The goal is unambiguous: the demonization and destruction of the Jewish state.

[DW] Belgian prosecutors say the men were charged with terror-related offenses in connection with an attack aboard a high-speed train that was thwarted by passengers. The suspects were jugged Please don't kill me! after raids in Brussels.
Belgium's Federal Prosecutor's Office said that the suspects, identified as Mohammed B. and Youssef S., were "indicted for participation in the activities of a terrorist group,"
They were among four people detained on Monday after police searched a number of properties in Brussels and southern Belgium. The two others were released after questioning.
The raids were part of a terrorism investigation into a 2015 attack on a high-speed Thalys train between Brussels and Gay Paree, prosecutors said.
At least two of the raids took place in the Belgian capital's Molenbeek district. "Neither explosives nor weapons were found," prosecutors added.

Let politicians, schoolteachers, and administrators, community leaders, ministers, and parents drill into children the message that in a free society, they enter adulthood with three major responsibilities: at least finish high school, get a full-time job and wait until age 21 to get married and have children.
Our research shows that of American adults who followed these three simple rules, only about 2 percent are in poverty and nearly 75 percent have joined the middle class (defined as earning around $55,000 or more per year). There are surely influences other than these principles at play, but following them guides a young adult away from poverty and toward the middle class. --Brookings Institue

Zummar (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi troops have gradually withdrawn from northwestern Mosul region, a sign that indicates easing tensions between Baghdad and Erbil, a security source said.
“Federal Police’s reinforcement, which arrived earlier to Zummar, northwest of Mosul, have started to withdraw gradually,” Lt. Gen. Saadoun al-Dulaimi, of Federal Police, told Anadolu Agency on Tuesday.
Troops were deployed in Zummar last week as confrontations occurred against Peshmerga. The move comes after ceasefire agreement was reached and series of talks took place on redeploying of Iraqi troops at disputed regions and border crossings.
“The withdrawal takes place through few groups with its machinery, while army troops tasked with protecting the region remain,” Dulaimi added.

[DAWN] China's legislature is considering a bill mandating prison sentences of up to three years for disrespecting the national anthem, amid rising nationalist appeals from the ruling Communist Party under the leadership of President Xi Jinping.
The move reported on Tuesday by state media follows Xi's appointment to a second five-year term as party leader, for which he has designated as a central motif of realising the "Chinese Dream" of a powerful, prosperous nation.
Since taking office in 2012, Xi has established a growing cult of personality that leans heavily on his image as a patriotic leader who brooks no slight to national dignity.
Hallmarks of his term in office have included a stronger military, bolder foreign policy and aggressive economic expansion abroad, as well as sharply reduced space for criticism or political dissent at home.

[DAWN] MUZAFFARGARH: Police jugged Drop the rod and step away witcher hands up! a woman and her two accomplices on Monday in Lashariwala for allegedly spiking lassi with rat killing pills resulting in the death of 13 people of her family.
Dera Ghazi Khan Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Tajak said this at a presser here on Monday.
The police presented suspects Asia Bibi, her friend Shahid and relative Zareena at the briefing.
A special team of police had been formed to probe into the death of 13 family members of Akram Lashari, of Mauza Kundai, in Seetpur. The police arrested the three who have confessed to committing the crime.
The RPO said Asia Bibi was not happy with her marriage to her cousin, Amjad, the son of Akram Lashari.
During her 45-day marriage, she quarrelled with her husband and in-laws several times and left her house for her parents.
According to police, Asia with Shahid and Zareena made a plan to kill her husband Amjad and other family members. On Oct 26, she put the poisonous tablets in the curd pot. During lunch, she served the spiked drink to the family members and 19 people fell unconscious one by one. They were shifted to the Nishtar Hospital in Multan and the Dera Ghazi Khan Teaching Hospital where 13, including Amjad, have died while six others are still under treatment.
District Police Officer Awais Ahmad said a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act had been registered against Asia and her accomplices.

Police confirmed to AFP they had locked away I ain't sayin' nuttin' widdout me mout'piece! 27-year-old Takahiro Shiraishi, who lives in the apartment in Zama, south of Tokyo.
According to public broadcaster NHK, Shiraishi told police: "I killed them and did some work on the bodies in order to hide the evidence."
Jiji Press said Shiraishi had told police that he chopped up the bodies in a bathroom and a saw was found in his room.
The bodies were of eight women and one man, several media reported. A police front man could not immediately confirm these reports.
According to Jiji Press, police found the two heads inside a cool box at the entrance of the apartment before making the grisly discovery of the other bodies.
Police found the other bodies in a number of large boxes in the apartment, reports said.
Authorities had been investigating the disappearance of a 23-year-old woman and discovered a connection between her and Shiraishi.
This woman had earlier tweeted "I'm looking for someone to die with me", according to the Sankei Shimbun daily.
Other media said Shiraishi and the woman had connected via a website featuring information about suicides.
Television pictures showed a heavy police presence blocking off a nondescript white-tiled terraced apartment.

[Strategic-Culture.org] The US Strategic Command (StratCom) kicked off its largest annual training exercise on October 30 with the commencement of Global Thunder 2018. The training event involves StratCom’s headquarters at Offutt Air Force Base as well as its many subordinate units around the world, such as missile and bomber wings. It encompasses all missions, including strategic deterrence, space operations, cyberspace operations, joint electronic warfare, global strike, missile defense and intelligence, and is expected to last for about 10 days.
The United States had warned Russia about Global Thunder in advance as required by the New START. Last week, Russia held a strategic nuclear forces’ exercise too. President Vladimir Putin personally took part in the event as the Supreme Commander in Chief. The tests included an ICBM, three submarine-launched ballistic missiles and "an unknown number" of air-launched cruise missiles.

[PRESSTV] Egypt’s military says it has killed "a large number of terrorist elements" in the country’s Western Desert after its warplanes conducted Arclight airstrikes on krazed killers’ positions, destroying a number of explosive-laden vehicles.
Colonel Tamer el-Rifai announced the news in a statement on Tuesday, adding that the aerial raid had been carried out in a rugged area some 80 kilometers southwest of the capital Cairo.
In aerial footage posted by the country’s military, three four-wheel-drive vehicles, allegedly belonging to a suspected terror group, were targeted after many gunnies got off them and started running in all directions. Rifai further said that the scene was still being assessed and the casualty count was incomplete.
Elsewhere in his statement, the army front man asserted that those targeted were suspected of having been involved in a bushwhack on Egyptian police less than two weeks ago around 135 kilometers southwest of Cairo, a rare flare-up outside the restive Sinai Peninsula. The Egyptian Interior Ministry said at the time that 16 police bit the dust in the attack.
However, the difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits... security sources claim that more than 50 were killed in the September 20 incident. The attack sparked huge public anger in Egypt, with many questioning President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s success in fighting bully boyz across Egypt.
[DAWN] A jacket wallah believed to be as young as 12 struck Kabul's heavily fortified diplomatic quarter on Tuesday and killed at least five people and wounding another 20.
It was the first attack targeting the Afghan capital's so-called "Green Zone" since a massive truck bomb destroyed the area on May 31, killing or wounding hundreds.
A western security source told AFP the attacker appeared to have been targeting workers leaving an Afghan defence ministry facility inside the heavily protected zone.
Health ministry front man Ismail Kawoosi told AFP that at least five people had been killed and 20 maimed, including women.
"The suicide kaboom was carried out by an underage bomber, a boy we think 13 or 15 years old, killing at least four and wounding over a dozen more civilians," interior ministry front man Najib Danish told AFP.
A police front man said the attacker may have been as young as 12.
Defence ministry front man Dawlat Waziri said the bomber "made it through the first checkpoint but was stopped at the second checkpoint and detonated".
Thank goodness for checkpoints. But the first one -- was he lazy or bribed?

Idiot. But he's a university lecturer, so such posturing is necessary.
[Al Jazeera] A Canadian university lecturer and radio broadcaster has filed a suit in federal court challenging the inaccurate labelling of wines made in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank and exported to Canada as a "Product of Israel".
David Kattenburg, a 62-year-old Winnipeg resident and son of Holocaust survivors,
Not all survivors, not to mention their children, learned the same kesson from the experience.
had previously submitted a complaint in late March to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) about its labelling procedures, indicating that the grapes used were grown in the occupied West Bank and processed in wineries outside of Israel's formal borders.
"These falsely-labelled products trouble me as a consumer," Kattenburg said in July after he filed the original complaint. "Canadians have a right to know that [a product] is made in Israel, if it's made in some other place. This is a matter of concern. They have the right to truthful labelling."

[DAWN] Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... will allow women into sports stadiums as of next year, the kingdom’s latest step towards easing rules on gender segregation but they will be seated in the so-called family section, an area separate from the male-only crowd.
Still, the decision, announced on Sunday, marks another incremental step towards greater women’s rights in the kingdom.
The General Sports Authority described the decision as one that will allow "families" into the stadiums a term authorities use to refer to the public spaces that accommodate women.
These "family" sections are for women who are out on their own or who are accompanied by a male relative. Many restaurants and cafes, which often also have separate entrances for women, have similarly segregated seating arrangements.
The authority said the three major sports stadiums in the capital, Riyadh, and the cities of Jiddah and Dammam will undergo renovations to accommodate families.
The decision comes after the public appeared to welcome a decision to allow women to drive for the first time next year. Many also responded enthusiastically when women were allowed into the Riyadh stadium for national day celebrations last month.

[DAWN] Tensions rose on Tuesday after an Israeli operation to blow up a tunnel from the Gazoo Strip killed seven Paleostinian Lions of Islam in one of the deadliest incidents since a devastating 2014 war.
The seven men, from the armed wings of Gazoo's rulers Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, and allied group Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... , were killed on Monday when Israel blew up the tunnel it said had crossed into its territory and was intended for attacks.
They were being buried on Tuesday in their respective neighbourhoods in the Gazoo Strip.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniya appeared at a funeral in central Gazoo attended by a few thousand people, witnesses said, while senior Hamas figure Khalil al-Hayya spoke at one in the southern part of the strip.
"(Hamas) knows how to manage the conflict with the enemy and how to get Dire Revenge and strike at the time and place that hurts the enemy," Hayya said, according to a statement.
Talk is cheap. But Islamic Jihad is now somewhat weaker in relation to Hamas than it was two days ago, so Hamas isn't really that upset. Besides, President al Sisi wants Israel kept happy a while longer.

The visit aims to "control the international border" it said, mentioning Iraq’s two crossings with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... and Syria, respectively Ibrahim al-Khalil and Fish-Khabur.
Iraqi officials told Rooters earlier on Tuesday Iraqi customs officials took control of the Ibrahim al-Khalil main land crossing with Turkey.

[Libya Observer] The Presidential Council has issued a statement condemning the "heinous crime" and the "horrifying act" that led to the wholesale killing of 36 persons after being tortured then tossed on the road in al-Abyar district in Benghazi.
The statement issued on Sunday said that this act is only committed by inhuman individuals and those who are stripped of their ethics, morals and manners as well as religion, adding that such an act goes at odds with the efforts to build democracy in Libya, where human rights ...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty... should be respected and violations be brought to justice.
"There will be a thorough investigation in coordination with the Attorney General's office to bring the criminals to justice." The Presidential Council added.
Reactions weighing in on the brutal massacre topped Facebook walls and were mostly accompanied by the sad and angry emojis.
The reactions included the UNSMIL, which tweeted that it "condemns in the strongest terms the heinous crime resulting in the killing of at least 36 whose bodies found in al-Abyar area," calling for immediate investigation to bring perpetrators to justice.
Likewise, the Italian Embassy in Libya's capital, Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... , tweeted: "Horrified at the sight of the bodies discovered in al-Abyar. Such a heinous crime must not go unpunished."

[FoxNews] The head of National Public Radio’s news department was placed on leave Tuesday after he was accused of sexual harassment by two women who claimed he made unwanted advances toward them while he worked at the New York Times nearly 20 years ago.
Both women claimed Michael Oreskes kissed them and stuck his tongue in their mouths after they had approached him about working at the Times in the late 1990s, when Oreskes was the paper’s Washington bureau chief.
NPR reported Tuesday that Oreskes was formally rebuked following a separate incident two years ago where a female producer complained she was made to feel uncomfortable after a dinner in which Oreskes talked about sex and inquired about her personal life. The woman, Rebecca Hersher, said on the NPR report that "it undercut my confidence."
NPR said in a statement on Tuesday: "We take these kinds of allegations very seriously. If a concern is raised, we review the matter promptly and take appropriate steps as warranted to assure a safe, comfortable and productive work environment. As a matter of policy, we do not comment about personnel matters."
[DAWN] Senators on Tuesday expressed serious reservations against the United States' policy on South Asia as well as related recent developments, including increased drone attacks and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's visit to Islamabad.
During a Senate session, politicians unequivocally criticised the US's new bent, terming it a threat to regional security and peace.
Senator Taj Haider said US President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... "wants to divide people while erecting walls." He claimed that the US economy was rooted in conflict, but Islamabad would not become part of any proxy war in the region.
Senator Farhatullah Babar turned his guns on the government, criticising Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif for "not being able to control the reins of Pakistain's foreign policy". He also asked why dronezaps had resumed in the tenure of the incumbent government.
He also lambasted Asif for a recent statement in which he had said that Pakistain would take action against those identified by the US. He said that it seemed to be the same narrative floated by military dictator and former president Pervaiz Musharraf.
He also found fault with other statements made by the foreign minister. Recalling that Asif had told US officials that their generals had failed so they should find a political solution to Afghanistan, Babar urged the minister to "adopt the same approach."

Pak is overdue for serious sanctions. They hid OBL, mullah Omar, countless Haqqani overlords and minons. Cut all foreign aid, delete all cooperative events, ban all visas, and demand an end to their support to the taliban. When they refuse, use finance laws to cut them off from the main stream of global finance. When they bitch about that to their China pals, explain to China that they are next if they can't get their Pak client to behave.
Tucker Carlson yesterday. Full show at the link, but this is the gist of it.
The Podesta Group was hired by Paul Manafort on behalf of foreign clients because the company was perceived to have a direct line to powerful politicians, like Hillary Clinton.
The chairman of one major presidential campaign colluded with a brother of the *other* major presidential campaign to enrich themselves by secretly advancing the interests of a foreign adversary. That happened. That's "the swamp" everyone is saying needs to be drained.
The Mueller investigation is no longer a search for Russian collusion with Trump in the 2016 race. It is now a much more far-reaching inquiry into corrupt lobbying practices all across Washington DC, the so-called "swamp". An investigation that is very likely to ensnare figures close to Hillary Clinton.
In press accounts, Mueller's investigation is still framed as a hunt for collusion between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and the government of Russia, but that description is mostly bogus. The investigation has broadened now to determine which people and which organizations in Washington DC have spent years working *secretly* as de facto operatives on behalf of Russian government and business interests.
The Podesta Group is chief among these.
They are more focused on facilitators of Russian influence in America than they are on election collusion. I sense a shift in the Force. For the first time in decades, a threat from Tony Podesta doesn't have the intended effect. Suddenly, no power. It was the day when everything changed.
I mean we know from the John Podesta emails how they worried and worked to stamp out stories with pressure and leveraging behind the scenes. If you are a new reporter in D.C. getting a lead on a Tony Podesta story you were not able to get it out in the "old days".
John Podesta has not Tweeted since October 14th. He knows shit is about to go down.

I wonder if Mueller is writing the exoneration documents now before starting the sham investigation (with leaks so they can tidy up before he gets there).

He got along with Holder, never beefed the Fast and Furious story to any degree, and hired a lefty staff....expecting honest investigations to reveal the heart of the corruption on the left side of the aisle....not likely. He may be expected to reveal some lower level naughtiness but the tip of to Podesta to file foreign agent paperwork after his work started seems just a tad too coincidental.
[Al Jazeera] The UN-backed government of Libya has strongly condemned the air strike on the eastern city of Derna and called on the UN Security Council to investigate the attack that killed at least 17 civilians.
A statement issued on Tuesday by the Presidential Council on behalf of Fayez al-Sarraj, the head of the Government of National Accord (GNA), said that the air strike should be treated as a "war crime".
While the statement did not say who was responsible for the deadly bombing, it called for the immediate lifting of more than a year of siege imposed on Derna city to allow humanitarian aid and for those injured to be evacuated for treatment.

[Dhaka Tribune] Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has tossed in the clink Into the paddy wagon wit' yez! four suspected Death Eaters, including a pilot of Biman Bangladesh for planning sabotage using aircraft.
The four members of banned Death Eater outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) were arrested on Tuesday.
Of the arrestee, the Biman officer was identified as Sabbir. He is also first officer of the national flag carrier.
RAB Legal and Media Wing Mufti Mahmud Khan said they were arrested for planning a Death Eater attack by using an aircraft.
He said the detainees are close associates of Death Eater Abdullah, who went kaboom! at a den in Mirpur.
Details regarding the matter will be disclosed in a press briefing later in the day.
On September 6, seven people, including Abdullah, died in a suicide kaboom at a Death Eater hideout at Darus Salam in Mirpur.
Sabbir Emam, a pilot with state-run Biman Bangladesh Airlines, was detained in Dhaka with three others suspected of links to a bully boy group blamed for a cafe siege last year that left 22 people dead, including 18 foreigners.
The Rapid Action Battalion police unit said Sabbir plotted with senior faceless myrmidons from Jamayetul Mujahideen Bangladesh to crash a plane into the homes of politicians or to take passengers hostage.
Sabbir allegedly had ties to senior turbans including Sarwar Jahan, the head of a new JMB faction, before he was killed in a police raid.
Police say Sabbir and Sarwar plotted a plane attack with another man, Abdullah, who was killed in a raid in September along with six others, including his wife and children, in an apartment building in Dhaka.
The building was owned by Sabbir's father, who was questioned by police.

"Westridge police have arrested Mohammad Jahangir for kidnapping a man and his wife on June 5," Station House Officer (SHO) Haji Tariq told DawnNews on Tuesday.
After his arrest, Jahangir was presented before a magistrate court, which had granted physical remand of the accused to police, Tariq added
The SHO also revealed that the accused had also been involved in kidnapping cases before. He claimed that Jahangir runs an organised crime racket in which two constables of the Punjab police have also been found to be involved.
According to the SHO, the two constables are currently serving at a cop shoppe in Chakwal. The police have formed search teams for their arrest.
Sub Inspector Imtiaz Hussain told DawnNews that at the time of his arrest, Jahangir was already serving time in a jail in Punjab for another crime.
He said that after the case was registered in June against the former ASI, the police obtained his phone records and used them to track down the accused.
The abductee, Khalid Latif, who was picked up from Rawalpindi's Charring Cross road along with his wife, told DawnNews that as they walking out of their house that day, a car had pulled up and the former ASI and two uniformed constables had stepped out of it to accost them.
Latif added that other men, wearing plain clothes, were sitting inside the vehicle. "All the men were armed," he recalled.
Latif claimed that the men had told him that a police case had been registered against him in Jhelum and asked him to come with them. When he asked them to show him a copy of the case, the men forced him and his wife into their vehicle and drove off.
Latif added that after they crossed the Madara Hotel Plaza, the car came to a stop and he and his wife were told to step out as the suspects changed vehicles.
When Latif and his wife cried for help, motorway police officials stationed nearby came to their rescue. The suspects fled, taking the couple's mobile phones and jewelry with them.

[ABC7NY] A man in a rented pickup truck mowed down pedestrians and cyclists along a busy bike path in New York City Tuesday, killing at least eight and injuring 13 others in what the mayor called "a particularly cowardly act of terror."
The driver was shot in abdomen the by police and taken into custody after jumping out of the truck with what turned out to be a fake gun in each hand and shouting "Allahu Akbar!" officials said. His condition was not immediately released.
The incident happened just after 3 p.m. ET on the bike path that runs along the West Side Highway in Lower Manhattan.
NYPD officials said a truck driven by a 29-year-old man entered the West Street pedestrian/bike path a few blocks north of Chambers Street. It proceeded to strike multiple people on the path.
The driver barreled along the bike path for the equivalent of about 14 blocks, or around eight-tenths of a mile, before slamming into a small yellow school bus.
The driver exited the vehicle displaying imitation firearms -- a pellet gun and a paintball gun -- and was shot by NYPD officers, Sherlocks said.
Video showed him running through the street, likely before he was stopped by NYPD.
The mayhem and the burst of police gunfire set off panic in the neighborhood and left the pavement strewn with mangled bicycles and bodies that were soon covered with sheets.
"I saw a lot of blood over there. A lot of people on the ground," said Chen Yi, an Uber driver.
The suspect is in jug. Multiple law enforcement officials tell ABC News that the suspect In custody is identified as 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov. His drivers license shows an address in Tampa, Florida, but sources said he also a recent address in Paterson, New Jersey.
The sources added that Saipov left a note saying he had done the attack on behalf of ISIS.
One witness report is that the suspect yelled "Allah Akbar" after getting out of the vehicle, and that's what makes them believe it's terror-related.
"This was an act of terror, and a particularly cowardly act of terror aimed at innocent civilians, aimed at people going about their lives who had no idea what was about to hit them," Mayor Bill de Blasio said.
The truck is a white rental truck, which can be seen in this photo provided by NYPD.
A spokesperson for Home Depot confirmed that it's a truck that belongs to the retail chain:
"I can confirm it was a Home Depot rental truck. We'll be cooperating with authorities in their investigation. At this point you'll need to speak with them for any additional information."
Officials said this does not appear to be connected to any larger terror group or events. New York Gov. Andrew Sonny Cuomo said there is no ongoing threat in New York City, but New Yorkers should expect to see more security.
The FBI is working with the NYPD in the investigation.
Authorities say he came to the United States seven years ago from Uzbekistan under what is called the Diversity Visa Program, which offers a lottery for people from countries with few immigrants in America. Sources tell ABC News that in addition to an address in Tampa, he also lived in Ohio and most recently, in Paterson, New Jersey, where he lived with his wife and three children, according to a law enforcement official.
The Daily Mail is following the story here, and adds:
Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov immigrated to the US in 2010, has lived in Ohio and Florida, and currently resides in New Jersey.
Saipov has two trucking companies registered under his name, and also worked as an Uber driver.
One man who knew him said he was very friendly and good with kids, but feared having his photo taken.
He survived and is out of surgery. ISIS flags and notes pledging his allegiance were found in the truck he used.
Police are investigating a Home Depot in Passaic where Saipov is believed to have rented the truck.
An official who was briefed on the investigation told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named the suspect rented the van Tuesday afternoon at about 2 p.m., about an hour before the attack.
US media report that Saipov has a criminal record, however his record includes mostly traffic violations committed in Missouri and Pennsylvania.

Carrying fake guns. Reads like he was going for martyrdom status by getting shot during suicide by cop. He was an Uber driver for awhile. Don't you have to own a late model car and pass a background check? Where did he get the money for the late model car? He moved around quite a bit; Tampa, Ohio, NJ. He lived in a fairly nice building in Tampa. I'm thinking he had support. Schumer for one who put this damned diversity visa program in place.
The driver identified by law enforcement officials in Tuesday's New York City terror attack registered a business and briefly lived in Greater Cincinnati.
A Symmes Township family from Uzbekistan watched the Tuesday news of the attack in New York City with disbelief.
The suspect, Sayfullo Saipov, 29, now of Tampa, Florida, had stayed with them for two weeks in 2010 in the family’s townhouse at Brisben Place in Symmes Township.
“He was really calm,” said Dilnoza Abdusamatova, who was a teenager when Saipov stayed at her parents' townhouse. “He always used to work. He wouldn’t go to parties or anything. He only used to come home and rest and leave and go back to work.”
Saipov’s father in Uzbekistan asked Rustam Iskhakov to house Saipov while he tried to get his green card, said Abdusamatova, one of Iskhakov’s children. A U.S. official confirmed to The Associated Press details of the family's account of Saipov's immigration.
He didn’t stay for long, Abdusamatova said. He moved out of their home after two weeks and moved to Florida shortly thereafter at the invitation of a friend, she said.
Abdusamatova doesn’t remember what he did for a living while here, but public records show Saipov registered a business at the Symmes Township address in 2011.
The family was shocked to learn Saipov had a business registered to their address. Ohio Secretary of State records show Saipov registered "Sayf Motors Inc." in May 2011. A 2013 marriage certificate obtained by the USA TODAY Network lists Saipov's occupation as "truck driver."
During his time in Fort Myers, Florida, several years ago, Saipov was "a very good person," an acquaintance, Kobiljon Matkarov, told The New York Times.
"He liked the U.S. He seemed very lucky, and all the time, he was happy and talking like everything is OK. He did not seem like a terrorist, but I did not know him from the inside," Matkarov said. He said Saipov later moved to New Jersey and began driving for Uber. San Francisco-based Uber said he started over six months ago.
So worked long hours, couch surfed for the first few years -- a person could save a tidy sum that way.
Listening to the television news as I type: He is talking to police, and shows no remorse. Searches for ISIS on his laptop, but no indications of actual communication, so they're calling him a lone wolf. A knife was found in the truck, along with the note about ISIS. He is in the FBI data base, but no indication he was problematic.

PJMedia's Morning Brief is on the story, quoting the Business Insider as reporting that Mr. Saipov came here via the State Department's Diversity Visa Lottery, which brings in about 55,000 people a year, and since became a permanent resident, and links to a Fox News report that Mr. Saipov's mosque, the Omar Mosque in Paterson, N.J., has been under NYPD surveillance since 2005 because they suspect "budding terrorist conspiracies."

The fake guns were presumably an attempt at suicide by cop; since it was unsuccessful we will now have to endure years of trials and discussion on how racist we are to assume he is a bad person.

Every single time Brennan is trotted out to say something reliably anti-Trump, there should be a right wing journalist there to ask "Do you pray for muzzlims like Saipov five times a day?"

So what you're saying is that the NYPD deliberately shot an Muslim, a member of the victim class, who was essentially unarmed? Isn't that racist? /sarcasm

Several Argentines and one Belgium killed. Only one New York City resident killed. The US is no longer a tourist safe place compaired to dangerous parts of the world as cockroach politicians are in lverdrive importing large numbers of people from the most violent areas of the world into this nation.

By inductive reasoning yes, but otherwise I don’t know.

Is he part of the GOPe?
I've looked that GOPe up and all the discussion assumes you know what it means. I've never heard it before. Congressman Hensarling is my representative and I've always found him to be a straight shooter. Please explain what you mean by GOPe.
#4
GOP(establishment) I'd say Hensarling is not GOPe, but he may be fed up with the prospects for overcoming GOPe.

I read a different article on this and it is very ambiguous as to his GOPe status (thanks MM for including the definition).
He sounds like a Tea Partier but has very bad grades from conservative groups. My guess is that he's an ineffective dweeb with a conservative philosophy who gets whipsawed by the establishment environment.
Wow. Whoda thunk that Trump guy would have such an impact, even changing mores in the sophisticated Olde World?
[PRESSTV] Britannia-based charity organization Oxfam says it has dismissed nearly two dozen staff members over allegations of sexual abuse in the last year.
The leading charity group sacked 22 members of its staff after dealing with 87 claims of sexual exploitation and abuse, involving around 5,000 workers in the one-year period ending April 2017, a 36 percent increase in one year.
Oxfam said that about three-quarters of the claims had culminated in disciplinary action, adding that it referred 53 claims to the police and conducted internal investigations for 33 claims.
"Oxfam treats all allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation very seriously," it said in a statement, noting that data on allegations of sexual abuse by staff had been published in its annual reports.
The dismissals came as campaigners and rights activists called on world governments to take a closer look at the funding they provide to aid and charity groups.

[ABCNews] A 19-year-old Syrian man was arrested today, suspected of planning a “major terrorist attack” that would kill and injure as many people as possible, according to German authorities.
The man, who was taken into custody in the northern German city of Schwerin, was "strongly suspected of having been planning an Islamist-motivated attack" using "highly explosive" materials, the German Federal Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
The suspect was “in the process” of preparing the attack, the prosecutor’s office said. He had been planning since at least July to "detonate a bomb in a crowd in Germany" with the goal of "killing and injuring as many as possible," public prosecutor Frauke Koehler said.
“Today, German security services successfully averted a major terrorist attack in Germany,” German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said. “The operation took place at exactly the right moment. Late enough to secure the necessary proof and early enough to securely prevent any danger.”
Police officers were seen at a housing complex where the suspect was arrested, and de Maiziere said searches were also carried out in Hamburg, where he said the suspect “spent a lot of time.”
According to prosecutors, German authorities knew that the suspect had ordered bomb-making chemicals online. They said that during the raid today, authorities also found a high explosive called acetone. The interior minister said this final ingredient indicated the suspect “most likely intended to make bombs.”
A police officer seizes a pile of papers on the balcony of a suspect during raids in Schwerin, Germany, Oct. 31, 2017. German authorities arrested a 19-year-old Syrian citizen for allegedly planning a bomb attack.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the suspect had been searching social media for directions on how to build bombs and communicating with people known to be on the “jihadist spectrum.” He had established contact with people who called themselves “soldiers of the caliphate, i.e. members of ISIS,” according to the prosecutors’ statement.
It was unclear to what degree those contacts intensified the suspect’s decision to launch the attack, according to prosecutors.
Prosecutors said that the “initial estimate” did not seem to point to the suspect himself being a member of a terrorist group, specifically ISIS, as it is defined by German law. Prosecutors said they had been watching the suspect for some time and do not believe he had any accomplices in planning the attack.

Who'll give me odds that he's not 19 and not Syrian.
As I recall, something like three fourths of those who claimed to be sub-adult are not, while the number falsely claiming to be Syrian is large but unknown, since so many had thrown away their passports and other identification before entering Europe, or acquired false or real Syrian passports they were not entitled to.
[ISW] Key Takeaway: Russia has likely exploited recent tensions between Hungary and Ukraine to support its campaign to drive a wedge between Ukraine and its neighbors. The Kremlin has also revived its subversion in Western Ukraine focusing on minorities’ autonomy issues. It is unlikely that the Kremlin intends to create an insurgency there as it did in Eastern Ukraine, but it may create another fissure that destabilizes Kyiv. The Kremlin is also likely to attempt to stoke tensions between Ukraine and its other neighbors with minorities in Western Ukraine, such as Poland. The U.S. must watch these trends, which are likely to be slow-burning and subtle. They have implications for Ukraine’s stability and provide insight into Russia’s evolving methods of irregular warfare.

Seems like the two driving forces at play here are the NWO globalists, one Europe open-border advocates versus the nationalists who believe in maintaining their economy, culture and sovereignty.
#2
Yes, not trusting anything with the word Ukraine on it either way.
The globalists had their coup then Russia responded by annexing the Crimea.
Much more going on than it seems.

[DAWN] Singapore has banned Islamic preacher and scholar Mufti Ismail Menk from entering the city-state, saying that his views promote religious discord, reported Al Jazeera on Tuesday.
Menk, who hails from Zim-bob-we and has more than two million followers on Twitter, as well as Haslin bin Baharim, a Malaysian scholar, were barred from entering Singapore by the government ahead of their lectures on a "halal cruise" scheduled for late November, said the article.
According to Al Jazeera, Singapore's Ministry of Home Affairs said in a statement that its decision to reject Menk's application for a short-term work pass stemmed from his "segregationist and divisive ...politicians call things divisive when when the other side sez something they don't like. Their own statements are never divisive, they're principled... teachings", also alleging that Baharim promoted "disharmony between Moslems and non-Moslems".
"[Their views] are unacceptable in the context of Singapore's multi-racial and multi-religious society," the ministry was quoted as saying by Al Jazeera. "They will not be allowed to get around the ban by preaching instead on cruise ships which operate to and from Singapore."
Menk, in a Facebook post on Tuesday, said that the implication that he was using the cruise "to get around the ban" was "erroneous".

[Reuters] White House Chief of Staff John Kelly said on Monday a special counsel should be appointed to investigate Democrats over a uranium deal during the Obama administration and a dossier compiled on Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.
"I think probably as a layman looking at this kind of thing we need to find someone who is very, very objective who can get to the bottom of these accusations," Kelly said in an interview on Fox News.
A special counsel would be appointed by the Justice Department.
Republicans in Congress last week launched an investigation into an Obama-era deal in which a Russian company bought a Canadian firm that owned some 20 percent of U.S. uranium supplies.
Some Republicans have said Hillary Clinton’s State Department approved the deal after her husband’s charitable foundation received a $145 million donation. The New York Times has reported that Clinton, a Democrat who lost to Republican Trump in the 2016 election, did not participate in the decision.

A special counsel would be appointed by the Justice Department.
This still has to get by "Speed Bump" Sessions. I have my doubts this will happen. A special counsel investigating of Uranium One and Rosatom ought to be good to break loose the constipation.

Aw, c'mon. Can't we have Chris Christie? Please?

Qaim (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi forces recaptured more areas from Islamic State militants on Tuesday as operations continue to retake the group’s last bastions in western Anbar.
The Joint Operations Command’s War Media Cell said the forces recaptured several villages near the town of Qaim besides the town’s “phosphate factory”.
According to the statement, troops became 13 kilometers away from central Qaim.
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared Thursday the launch of operations to clear the towns of Rawa and Qaim, Islamic State’s last havens on the borders with Syria.
More from al-Manar
Iraqi forces on Tuesday battled up to the edge of Al-Qa’em, the largest town still held by the ISIL group in the country, as they pushed a final assault on the terrorists.
Iraq’s Joint Operations Command said government troops captured the village of Al-Obeidi, some 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the Syrian border on the eastern outskirts of the town.
“ISIL fighters resisted the advance of the troops, but the majority retreated to positions in the center of Al-Qa’em,” it said in a statement.
Al-Qa’em and the surrounding pocket of barren desert territory along the Euphrates river is now the last remnant in the country of the so- called ‘caliphate’ ISIL declared after storming Iraq and Syria in 2014.
Iraq launched the offensive on the Al-Qa’em region — which also includes the smaller town of Rawa — on Thursday to finish off a punishing campaign that saw it force the terrorists out their major urban stronghold Mosul in July.

[DAWN] Tehran on Monday rejected as "ridiculous and baseless" accusations by Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... that Iran was supporting rebels and blocking peace efforts in Yemen.
"The Saudi foreign minister’s claims that our country has been blocking peace efforts in Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... are ridiculous and baseless," foreign ministry front man Bahram Ghasemi said.
"Iran has condemned the aggression (against Yemen) since the beginning...and will not spare any efforts to stop this bloody and detestable war," Mr Ghasemi said in a statement published on the ministry’s website.
Both sides in the Yemen conflict have come under harsh criticism for their neglect of civilian safety.
"Repeating such false accusations will not reduce the responsibility... of those who have committed heinous crimes, particularly murder, destruction of schools and hospitals and pushing an innocent population to famine," Mr Ghasemi said.
