Rep. Wilson Predicts Trump Will Pretend ‘Somebody is Trying to Kill Barron' and Resign
[PJ] WASHINGTON ‐ Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) predicted that President Donald Trump will eventually resign from office to avoid impeachment by making up an excuse such as "somebody is trying to kill Barron" Trump, his 11-year-old son.

"We just have to, like the slogan says, stay woke; just stay woke, be careful, because I can see the wheels turning now...we’re marching toward impeachment, there’s no question about it. If that happens, are we prepared? Because it’s going to happen," Wilson said Thursday at the annual Legislative & Policy Conference organized by Al Sharpton’s National Action Network (NAN) on Capitol Hill.

"So we have to make sure, Rev. Sharpton, that we are prepared when this happens so we don’t just wake up one day blindsided," she added. "...I think it’s just going to get so tight and it’s going to close in and then everybody is going to be indicted around this president, and then he is going to realize he is probably next on the list. And I think he is going to come up with an excuse like ’somebody is trying to kill Barron, and so I’m going to resign.’"

Wilson went public last month with her account of Trump’s phone conversation with Myeshia Johnson, the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, one of four U.S. soldiers recently killed in Niger. Wilson said Trump told Johnson that her husband knew "what he signed up for"; Myeshia Johnson later confirmed this. Trump tweeted that Wilson’s recollection of the conversation was a "total lie."

"Wacky Congresswoman Wilson is the gift that keeps on giving for the Republican Party, a disaster for Dems. You watch her in action & vote R!" Trump tweeted.

Wilson, who has reported receiving death threats, said she has received a lot of support from the Democratic Party and military families during the back-and-forth with Trump.

God, Faith, and Reason - The Epiphany of Michael Savage (Video)
[Breitbart] On his "The Savage Nation," radio show, host Michael Savage discussed his new book, "God, Faith, And Reason," in which he discovered "the search to find God is the finding itself."

Savage said, "The search to find God is the finding itself. The reason that in my faith God is invisible, I figured out, is because if we saw him ‐ if we actually saw God, we would do what we do with an old movie. We would go on to the next image we are looking for, and so God was so smart he knew that man would dismiss him if he could be seen."

He continued, "In other words if God had manifested himself and we could see him on a daily basis we would grow tired of him like yesterday’s newspaper. We would dismiss God like a movie we saw. ’Yeah, yeah, I saw that movie. It was pretty good, but what’s coming up this Saturday?’ we would say. But now because we can’t see him, and we never have seen him directly, that is, we keep looking for him and that’s how he set it up."

5 Reasons Men Are Reluctant to Get on the Sexual Harassment Bandwagon
[Townhall] Since the Harvey Weinstein case broke into the news, we’ve been deluged with stories about women who were sexually harassed, raped or molested in Hollywood and elsewhere.

This is not a bad thing. Let me repeat that: this is not a bad thing.

Exposing abuse to sunlight is the best way to stop it. Moreover, if we didn’t have a prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment, I’d be okay with rapists being impaled on a sharp stick. Using a position of power to pressure a woman into sex or more creepily, into watching you do vile things to a potted plant is gross and criminal.

That being said, a lot of men are leery of the glut of accusations going on right now. This is something a lot of men think, but don’t want to say because they’re afraid they’ll catch flak over it. However, if you are a man, there are things that catch your attention about this wave of sexual harassment complaints that the opposite gender may not initially think about...

1. We keep defining sexual harassment down:
2. Sexual harassment is often dependent on the feelings the woman involved has about the man doing it:
3. Men have to be the pursuers:
4. Many women do lie about rape and sexual harassment:
5. The latest round of complaints about sexual harassment are shot through with man-hating:

#2  The thing that concerns me the most in this situation is how decades old accusations are all of a sudden treated as gospel truth.

How many women were sexually harassed, raped or molested at Studio 54 or backstage at any rock concert of the '70s?

What happens when the female WAS asking for it?

This whole thing seems to smell like a swamp.

Stirewalt puts the bottom line in four simple words: 'The Clintons are finished.' (Video)
BLUF:
[Right Scoop] This is in a serious way something we’ve talked about before, for the Democrats to get well, for them to get better, they have to dump the Clintons once and for all. They finally have to say that Clintonism is over.

That Donna Brazile would feel emboldened enough to smoke Hillary Clinton, just absolutely lay it out and blow it out...wrecked the party, that a party stalwart like Brazile would feel confident enough that she can call out Hillary Clinton to this degree, that tells me something big, which is that Hillary Clinton ain’t coming back no more!

Maybe the Obumba folks knew a thing or two about what the Clintons had done and weren't afraid to let them slip out. Perhaps HillBill didn't have enough on Obean to keep him compliant. Maybe it was 'tit for tat'.

The 'O Team' were from Chicago where serious coercion is a way of life. They most likely weren't as susceptible or fearful as Hill's previous victims.

The payback for acquiescence was to give her a position that she could profit from bigly.

G(r)om,

Good question - my understanding is that Hillary (much like she'd do in '16) went into the race believing that she was the natural and inevitable choice of the Democratic Party. She didn't go after Obama because the guy literally came out of nowhere, and by the time she realized how dangerous he was it was far too late, not to mention that even she quailed a little at the idea of going after a black guy with everything she had. Another way to look at it is this - she was ready to whack (figuratively, not literally) anybody else except Obama, because he wasn't even on the radar. YMMV, of course.

#9  Because she has the personality of an injured possum.

So a young black man with the ivy accent and both a foreign and Midwestern background who claims both Hawaii and Chicago as home shows up, it is no wonder the boosters turned their pants into Pollock paintings. Also, Obama was made by the Chicago machine, much easier to control or negotiate with than The Red Queen, who would solely concentrate on her own nest. And try to babysit Bill for another 8 years?

So she couldn't let that happen again, hence the rigging. And it still happened, this time to an rich old white male with a thick regional non-lawyer accent. As a machine cog, Sanders could have talked about how much he loved his morning oatmeal and the communist and socialist camps would have sold the speech, knowing if he got into office he would be much easier to work with.

Then there is Chelsea, who everyone knows has the personality of spoiled horseradish jello. Imagine having to work for her during many of her plum jobs, working your way up the PBS ladder only to be assigned to work for Chelsea who just got your job at quadruple what you would have been paid. Had to be some feathers ruffled.

Donna Brazile is a cheat, and is now also a shitbird and a coward, but is confirming what everyone already knew. She also confirms motive behind the leaks being an inside job. My question is why the carronade at close range?

Sheriff: Las Vegas shooter had lost money, been depressed
[Ynet] The man who killed 58 people at a country music festival in Las Vegas last month had been depressed after losing a significant amount of money in the past two years and that may have been a "determining factor" in the worst mass shooting in modern US history, the city's sheriff said.

Gunman Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old high-stakes gambler and real estate investor, had lost a "significant amount of wealth" since September 2015, which led to "bouts of depression," Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said in an interview this week with Las Vegas news station KLAS-TV.

"This individual was status-driven, based on how he liked to be recognized in the casino environment and how he liked to be recognized by his friends and family," Lombardo said. "So, obviously, that was starting to decline in the short period of time, and that may have had a determining effect on why he did what he did."

#9  Gambling losses result in year-long firearms spending spree?

I thought the guy was a gun collector:

http://time.com/money/4969462/las-vegas-shooter-stephen-paddock-gambler-real-estate-guns/
Altogether, Paddock owned over 50 guns. He purchased at least 33 guns, the vast majority of which were rifles, in the 12 months before the mass shooting, an ATF official told CBS News.

As to why he did what he did, note that this guy wasn't a run-of-the-mill individual. He did everything differently. How many people switch careers like he did? How many make fortunes in real estate, then decide to become professional gamblers? The odds are that when he snapped, he also did it his way. Lots of times, the only explanation is people go down blind alleys, the same way that some people become blind drunks or dope fiends.

Moroccan Extradited to France over 2015 Train Attack
[AnNahar] A Moroccan man suspected of helping to plan a 2015 attack on a Gay Paree-bound train has been extradited from Germany to La Belle France and charged, a legal source said Friday.

Redouane Sebbar, 25, was a close associate of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the ringleader of the 2015 jihadist attacks in Gay Paree that claimed 130 lives.

Abaaoud, who died in a police raid days after the carnage in the French capital, is also believed to have ordered the attack on the high-speed Thalys train from Amsterdam to Gay Paree on August 21, 2015.

The pair made several European trips together.

The legal source said Sebbar, who had been in jug in Germany since late 2016, was extradited to La Belle France on October 26 and charged with "complicity in attempted terrorist murder".

His fellow Moroccan Ayoub El Khazzani, a member of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group returning from Syria, opened fire with a Kalashnikov on the Thalys train just after it entered La Belle France, wounding two people.

Three Americans holidaying in Europe
...also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
-- two of them off-duty servicemen -- overpowered him, saving passengers from what could have been a bloodbath.

Khazzani told Sherlocks he was acting on the orders of Abaaoud, whom he met in Syria.

French Sherlocks became interested in Sebbar after noticing he made a return Thalys trip from Brussels to Gay Paree a few days before Khazzani's attack.

La Belle France had been seeking Sebbar's extradition since July.

Another suspected accomplice of Khazzani's, who was tossed in the slammer
I ain't sayin' nuttin' widdout me mout'piece!
in Germany and handed over to La Belle France in April, has already been charged over the Thalys attack.

Algerian national Bilal Chatra, 21, is accused of playing the role of scout for Abaaoud and Khazzani along the Balkans migrant route into Europe in 2015. He is being held in a French prison.

In Belgium, two men were charged Tuesday over the train attack, including Mohammed Bakkali, accused of planning logistics for the gun and bomb assault in Gay Paree on November 13, 2015.

Did the Dastardly CIA Really Try Repeatedly to Assassinate Poor Innocent Little Fidel Castro?
[Townhall] So you’d really hope the American taxpayer was getting an honest return on their "investment" and CIA officials were really "putting on their thinking caps" and really "burning the midnight oil" attempting to bump-off a mass-murdering Soviet satrap and terrorist who set up shop 90 miles from our shores during the height of the Cold War.

HAH! Hope again. "So far as I have been able to determine," revealed E. Howard Hunt who, during the early 1960s, served as head of the political division of the CIA’s "Cuba Project," "no COHERENT plan was ever developed within the CIA to assassinate Castro, though it was the heart’s desire of many exile groups."

Interestingly, Hunt stressed that killing Castro was his own recommendation. But he couldn’t get any serious takers within the agency.

#1  "No coherent plan was ever developed within the CIA." I recall Director of National Intelligence Clapper saying when asked about unmasking: "no," or at least "not wittingly." Three-letter agencies tend to parse and weigh words.

Does the Bay of Pigs count as a plot? Years ago (circa 1959-60), I recall that a private company with interests in Cuba was offering $1 mil for a hit on Castro, at least that was the rumor.

Manafort lawyer plans to challenge evidence 'obtained by search warrant, subpoena'
[The Hill] Lawyers for former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort on Friday filed court documents announcing their team's intention to challenge the constitutionality of evidence seized from Manafort's home during a raid in July.

Attorneys representing Manafort filed a response to a judge's order to inform the court about possible pretrial motions, saying that they will challenge evidence that was "improperly" obtained "by search warrant, subpoena, or otherwise."

FBI agents conducted a no-knock raid of Manafort's home in July, during which prosecutors first told the former Trump campaign chief to expect an indictment. That indictment was handed down Monday, when Manafort was charged with tax fraud and money laundering.

The charges filed Monday are related to Manafort's work for a pro-Russia political party in Ukraine and stem from Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. The investigation is ongoing.

The indictment accuses Manafort of "knowingly and intentionally" conspiring to "defraud the United States by impeding, impairing, obstructing and defeating the lawful governmental functions of a government agency, namely the Department of Justice and the Department of the Treasury."

President Trump reacted to the news of his former aide's indictment by claiming that the alleged crimes were committed long before Manafort joined the Trump campaign.

"Sorry, but this is years ago, before Paul Manafort was part of the Trump campaign. But why aren't Crooked Hillary & the Dems the focus?????" Trump tweeted Monday.

"Also, there is NO COLLUSION!" he tweeted.

Suicide attack kills 9 in Syria's Golan Heights village
[DAWN] A suicide car kaboom killed nine people in a government-held village in Syria's Golan Heights on Friday, state media said, reporting festivities between government forces and forces of Evil afterward.

State news agency SANA said the boom-mobile hit the outskirts of the village of Hader, which lies near the disengagement line that divides the Syrian-controlled part of the Golan from that occupied by Israel.

"A jacket wallah from al-Nusra

Iran denounces CIA 'fake news' in declassified Bin Laden files
[DAWN] Iran has accused the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of spreading "fake news" about the Islamic Theocratic Republic with newly declassified files seized in the 2011 raid in Pakistain in which Al Qaeda chief the late Osama bin Laden
... who doesn't live anywhere anymore...
was killed.

The CIA on Wednesday released 470,000 additional files found in May 2011 when United States (US) Navy SEALs burst into Bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad
... A pleasant city located only 30 convenient miles from Islamabad. The city is noted for its nice weather and good schools. It is the site of Pakistain's military academy, which was within comfortable walking distance of the residence of the late Osama bin Laden....
and shot him dead.

According to scholars from the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), who were allowed to see the trove before it was made public, the files shed new light on the murky relationship between the terror group and Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif dismissed the allegations.

"A record low for the reach of petrodollars: CIA and FDD fake news with selective Al Qaeda docs re: Iran can't whitewash role of US allies in 9/11," he wrote on Twitter late on Thursday.

Outgoing Twitter employee deactivates Trump's account
[DAWN] A Twitter employee on their last day with the company was responsible for taking down Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
's account, the social network said on Thursday, as the president resumed tweeting after the 11-minute outage.

Twitter users visiting Trump's account around 7:00 pm were greeted with the message "Sorry, that page doesn't exist!"

Twitter initially said the account had been "inadvertently deactivated due to human error", but later indicated it was done intentionally by a departing worker.

"Through our investigation, we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee's last day," it said.

"We are conducting a full internal review," it said on the official Twitter Government account.

Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

#1  Doesn't anyone know how to play this game? (Classical reference) You do not allow an employees access to the system after the decision has been made to terminate, voluntarily or involuntarily. Have security escort them to their desk/cubical to gather their personal belongings and to the personnel office for processing of paperwork. It's nothing personal, it's business.

India ordered to probe 2,080 mass graves in Kashmir
[Al Jazeera] The state-run human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
commission has told the government in Kashmire to investigate at least 2,080 unmarked mass graves discovered in border areas of the restive region.

The Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP), a human rights group in Kashmire, told the commission there were 3,844 unmarked graves - 2,717 in Poonch and 1,127 in Rajouri, twin districts in the region that lie along Line of Control (LoC) that divides the disputed territory between India and Pakistain.

In response, the commission acknowledged the presence of 2,080 unmarked graves and asked the government for a comprehensive investigation to be completed in six months, including DNA tests of the bodies to compare it with family members of the disappeared.

In 2011, the commission directed the government to investigate the mass graves. At the time, a special team from the commission said 2,730 unidentified bodies were buried in 38 sites across northern Kashmire.

"The commission has no hesitation to issue the same directions, which were already issued in the case," the recent order said.

Europe
Italy seizes 50 million euros worth of IS 'fighter drug'
[DigitalJournal] Italian police have seized 50 million euros worth of tablets of a synthetic opiate destined to be sold by the Islamic State (IS) group in Libya to raise funds for attacks, a court said Friday.

Financial police discovered over 24 million Tramadol tablets, en route from India to Libya, at the port of Gioia Tauro in southern Italy.

The painkiller has been described as the "fighter drug" as it is known to be popular among jihadists for its ability to dull pain and suppress fatigue.
That's highly overstated.
The haul is estimated to be worth 50 million euros ($58 million), and was found following a police crackdown sparked by the discovery of a similar shipment in Genoa in May.

Investigators believe the IS group planned to sell the tablets to their foot soldiers for the equivalent of two euros a tablet.

"According to the information shared with foreign investigative sources, the traffic of Tramadol is directly handled by IS to finance terrorist activities planned and carried out across the world," the court of Reggio Calabria said.

Part of the money raised from the sales would also go "to subsidize terrorist groups and extremists operating in Libya, Syria and Iraq," it said in a statement.

The court said the catch had been possible thanks in part to the DEA, the US Drug Enforcement Administration.

But I'm surprised to hear the claim about suppressing fatigue because I all wanted to do was sleep. I had great difficulty keeping my eyes open. Highly addictive also, IMHO. Enjoy, all you jihadis.

Arab coalition forces hit Iranian experts, military base in north Yemen
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Arab coalition forces hit Souq Allaf in north Saada province in Yemen. The military raid targeted a missile base, killing Iranian experts and leaders linked to Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
and ousted Saleh’s militia, reported Yemeni media.

The Houthi militias claimed that the raids targeted civilians at Souq Allaf at the province of Saada, early on Wednesday.

The sources confirmed the killing of Iranian experts, and military leaders in the so-called missile force belonging to the Houthis and Saleh’s militia.

Yemeni news sites reported that the head of the Houthi missile unit, Qais Ali al-Qamantar, was killed in the raids targeting a building in which he was located next to the popular market in the Sahar Directorate in the center of Saada.

The sources also confirmed the death of his brother Hussein and other elements of the militia, including Iranian missile experts whose identities are still unknown.

Houthi activists and leaders condemned the killing of al-Qamantar, referring to him as a missile force officer.

Other sources said he supervised the installation of launching pads of ballistic missiles, directed at Saudi territory.

The Houthi militia included Qais and Hussein al-Qamantar in a list of names, claiming they were civilians killed in the aerial bombardment of the location in Sahar.

The coalition forces front man Colonel Turki al-Maliki announced earlier, that the allegations circulated by the Houthi media regarding the death of civilians were reviewed and investigated.

Congressman Matt Gaetz Introduces Resolution Calling for Recusal of Mueller from Special Counsel
[Gaetz Website] Washington, D.C. ‐ U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL), member of the House Judiciary Committee, introduced a resolution today calling for the resignation of Robert Mueller, former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, from his position as Special Counsel.

"Evidence has emerged that the FBI withheld information from Congress and from the American people about Russian corruption of American uranium companies. A confidential U.S. witness, working in the Russian nuclear industry, revealed that Russia had deeply compromised an American uranium trucking firm through bribery and financial kickbacks.

Although federal agents possessed this information in 2010, the Department of Justice continued investigating this "matter" for over four years. The FBI, led at the time by Robert Mueller, required the confidential witness to sign a non-disclosure agreement. When the witness attempted to contact Congress and federal courts about the bribery and corruption he saw, he was threatened with legal action. By silencing him, Obama’s Justice Department and Mueller’s FBI knowingly kept Congress in the dark about Russia’s significant and illegal involvement with American uranium companies.

These deeply troubling events took place when Mr. Mueller was the Director of the FBI. As such, his impartiality is hopelessly compromised. He must step down immediately," Rep. Gaetz said in a statement.

Cosponsors of the resolution currently include Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX).

In July 2017, Rep. Gaetz offered an amendment in the House Judiciary Committee, as well as a stand-alone resolution, calling for a special counsel to investigate former FBI Director James Comey’s collusion with Robert Mueller, the FBI’s mishandling of the Hillary Clinton investigation, and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s infamous "tarmac conversation" with former President Bill Clinton. #1  IMO, the time is overdue for getting rid of this Special Counsel. They have been at the Russian collusion investigation for too long and they have found nothing. Their initial charge has gone far astray. Anything found by the Special Counsel is the fruit from the poisoned tree since the counsel and its mission were based on a lie to begin with.

U.S. Drastic Measures On Iran Have Just Begun
[In Military] US President Donald Trump announces his nominee for Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, in the Rose Garden of the White House in Washington, DC, November 2, 2017.

The new US strategy vis-à-vis Iran began to unravel this week.

Making headlines has been the CIA’s latest trove of nearly half a million documents indicating deep ties between Iran and the al-Qaeda terrorist network. Experts have been busy analyzing the data, especially showing how Iran offered al-Qaeda operatives "everything they needed," including "money, arms" and "training in Hezbollah camps in Lebanon, in exchange for striking American interests in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf," according to the Foundation for Defense of Democracy’s Long War Journal.

David Corn investigated for inappropriate workplace behavior
[POLITICO] Mother Jones magazine’s editor and chief executive acknowledged on Thursday that they investigated Washington bureau chief David Corn for inappropriate workplace behavior three years ago, warning him about touching female staffers and insensitive descriptions of sexual violence, and would now probe the allegations further in light of two emails written by former staffers in 2014 and 2015 and obtained by POLITICO.

One of the emails, written in 2015 by a former staffer outlining concerns she had heard from other women in the Washington office, said Corn, now 58, made "rape jokes," "regularly gave [several women] unwelcome shoulder rubs and engaged in uninvited touching of their legs, arms, backs, and waists," and "made inappropriate comments about women’s sexuality and anatomy." The other email, from 2014, was by a former female staffer who claimed that Corn "came up behind me and put his hands and arms around my body in a way that felt sexual and domineering."

CEO Monika Bauerlein and editor-in-chief Clara Jeffery said they had not seen these emails, which were shared several years ago between colleagues and union representatives. But the magazine’s leaders acknowledged dealing with allegations of inappropriate touching and comments around the time the emails were written, and said they believe Corn has stopped those behaviors.

Corn, in a statement to POLITICO, said that neither his comments nor his touching of colleagues was in any way sexual.

Cowboys Jerry Jones Calls Papa Johns Pizza CEO "Great American"
[Breitbart] Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter made waves this week, becoming the first major sponsor of the NFL to publicly blast Commissioner Goodell for his handling of NFL player protests.

Given Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones’ close business relationship with Papa John’s, past statements against anthem protests, in addition to his criticisms of Roger Goodell’s leadership, many began speculating that Schnatter had criticized Goodell at Jones’ behest.

On Friday, during an appearance on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, Jones was asked about his relationship with John Schnatter. Jones heaped praise on the Papa John’s CEO, and his strong statement against Goodell:

"The facts are that I’ve spent my life, the last 28 to 30 years of my life, being knee-deep and immersed in anything and everything I can do for the Cowboys and through that the NFL. On the other hand, I am a joint owner of the businesses of 120 Papa John’s stores here in Texas. And John Schnatter is one of the great Americans. He’s the story of America. He started off in his dad’s bar just doing a pizza with a little oven or microwave, and he’s built that thing into one of the greatest businesses. Papa John’s was named by all of the people that look at the NFL, Papa John’s was named as the product most associated with the NFL and it was named that a year ago by a survey of all of our viewers. So he is quite an American story."

These words will do nothing to calm the speculation that Jones and Schnatter are in cahoots. These words are also entirely true and accurate. Though, it really shouldn’t matter to anyone that Schnatter and Jones are conspiring together against Goodell.

Roger Goodell is the worst commissioner in modern history. Short of the devil, there’s no alliance anyone should consider too unholy if the end result rids us of a commissioner who has presided over the ruining of the game, and the delivering of the league into the hands of leftist activists. If Jones and Schnatter can restore any kind of sanity to a league that has clearly lost it, go for it.

2 Indian soldiers, 'militant' killed in IHK gun battle
[DAWN] Two Indian army soldiers and a suspected hard boy were killed in a gunbattle in India-held Kashmire, police said on Friday.

Fierce fighting began overnight after Indian government forces laid a cordon around a cluster of homes in southern Samboora village on a tip that 'militants' were hiding there, Superintendent Police Pani claimed.

As the fighting raged, hundreds of residents, mostly young men, hit the streets in solidarity with the 'militants' while demanding the end of Indian rule over Kashmire.

Government forces fired tear gas, resulting in festivities with protesters, who hurled rocks back at the troops. No one was immediately reported injured in the festivities.

Police said at least two 'militants' escaped amid the festivities.

Separatist groups have for years been fighting Indian soldiers deployed in the region, demanding that Kashmire be given independence or merged with Pakistain.

in India, police said on Friday, the latest in a series of sex attacks against minors in the country.

The 18-month-old girl had gone to play with her neighbours' two children ─ aged two and four ─ when she was allegedly raped by their father in their one-room home on Wednesday, police said.

The girl, who is recovering at a New Delhi hospital, was found dumped outside her house bleeding and in pain by her mother after the alleged assault.

The suspect was arrested on Thursday, said Harinder Singh, an officer in the Aman Vihar neighbourhood where the assault apparently took place.

He has been charged under India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, which means he could face life imprisonment.

The head of the Delhi Commission for Women Swati Maliwal met the child and said she was in a stable condition after undergoing surgery.

"The poor child cannot even speak, she is just laying there," Maliwal said.

Abadi: Iraqi forces retake last ISIS bastion
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Iraqi forces Friday captured the biggest town under ISIS group control in Iraq, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said, driving another nail into the coffin of the holy warriors' self-styled caliphate.

Abadi hailed the "liberation of al-Qaim in record time" in a statement, just hours after Iraqi troops backed up by local Sunni tribal militia fighters entered the key town on the border with Syria.

The fall of al-Qaim leaves ISIS fighters in Iraq holding just the smaller neighboring town of Rawa and surrounding pockets of barren desert along the Euphrates river.

That is all that remains in the country from the vast swathes of territory that the group seized in 2014 as it rampaged across Iraq and neighboring Syria.

But the town appeared to have fallen in lightning time after commanders announced that Iraqi troops pushed into the town of some 50,000 inhabitants on Friday morning.

Commanders said that forces have unleashed a barrage of artillery fire against holy warrior positions inside the town, backed by Iraqi and US-led coalition air strikes.

Troops from the army and the elite Counter Terrorism Service "have started the assault on the center of al-Qaim," Staff Major General Noman Abed al-Zobai, the commander of the 7th Division, told AFP from the scene on Fridat.

Shortly afterwards, another officer said on condition of anonymity that the town’s Gazoo district had fallen from holy warrior hands.

SEIU Ousts Senior Leaders for Abusive Behavior Toward Women
[BLOOMBERG] The Service Employees International Union, the second-largest labor union in the U.S., has fired a senior staff member and accepted the resignation of another following allegations of workplace harassment at the organization.

"These personnel actions are the culmination of this stage of the investigation which brought to light the serious problems related to abusive behavior towards staff, predominantly female staff," an SEIU spokeswoman said in an email.

Kendall Fells, one of the top national leaders of SEIU’s "Fight For 15" campaign, has resigned, according to a person familiar with the actions. Fells declined to comment. bankrupt, increasingly impoverished, reliably Democrat, Detroit

leader Mark Raleigh was fired, the person said.

In October, SEIU also fired Caleb Jennings, who had spearheaded Fight For 15 in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown

. Jennings denied wrongdoing. "President Mary Kay Henry should focus on the systemic abuse that has been going on within the institution, and hold accountable not just the perpetrators, but the many who have been complicit," he said in an email.

The disposition of the Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl desertion case is not setting too well with veterans, who think he should have received prison time for desertion.

I think a dishonorable discharge and forfeiture of rank to E1 is pretty severe without getting into prison. Bergdahl, in order to have any chance of a decent income, will be forced to do it illegally, or he could become a Democratic politician. Their bench is pretty bare at the moment, so a young traitor/deserter on the roster may be just the thing to get the votes coming in.

Even if it's from the rooftops.

You could try a new revolver manufacture, this time a .22 LR. The construction looks fairly easy, and all you need in addition to the machining work are some fire control components. In the Russian film "Brother", an eight shooter was featured in use by the main character, also in .22 LR. It is easy to dismiss, but the description of the piece in the film stated that, once the Soviet government fell, Russian organized crime started to make their own firearms. An eight shooter was one of the products available.

One more thing: if you see the film, note what the character came up with for a suppressor.

By the way, "Brother" is highly recommended, and well acted by a young Russian actor who died a few years later.

Loads.

NBC story on 'backlash' against 'American Muslims' stirs outrage
[FOXNEWS] Less than 24 hours after a driver plowed into a crowd Tuesday on the streets of New York City, NBC News faced mockery and criticism for posting a story about American Moslems that critics said was unfounded.

The NBC story suggested that Moslem Americans were fearing a potential "backlash" against their community because the suspect ‐ identified by authorities as Sayfullo Saipov, an immigrant from Uzbekistan ‐ shared their faith.

But critics posting on social media derided the network for focusing on an unsubstantiated idea rather than on those killed or injured in the attack.

"Maybe we should focus on those who were brutally murdered than a backlash you hope manifests," NRA spokeswoman and author Dana Loesch wrote on Twitter.

MLB's Only Kneeler Had an Ugly Meltdown as Police Arrested Him
[ConservativeTribune] Bruce Maxwell made quite a name for himself in September when he became the first MLB player to kneel during the national anthem prior to a game.

Since then, he’s garnered quite a bit of attention — but not for anything positive.

Last month, Maxwell, 26, claimed a pro-Trump restaurant employee refused to serve him because of his kneeling. However, later reports indicated Maxwell may have lied about the encounter. The sever in the incident told Fox News that Maxwell made up the entire story.

As if that was not enough negative attention for Maxwell, the catcher allegedly pointed a gun in the face of a woman delivering an order for Geno’s Pizza and Cheesesteaks when she brought the order to his home.

According to the police report, Maxwell opened the door and pointed a gun at the woman’s face on Oct. 28. She asked if he was “Bruce,” for whom the order was placed. Maxwell told her not to worry about the gun and eventually put the gun down and took the pizza.

When the woman made it back to her car, she called the police.

Maxwell reportedly had a meltdown after being placed in cuffs. He began yelling and, according to TMZ, “began making anti-police statements and utilized excessive profanity.”

One officer reportedly said Maxwell contradicted his version of the events that transpired over the evening.

Maxwell was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct, according to AZCentral. The catcher was reportedly bailed out of jail by Monday morning.

#1  ...My POV - YMMV, of course:

1. Lad is doing some weird shiat that is going to come out soon.

2. Start kneeling.

3. When it hits the fan, claim repression/discrimination/retaliation for the kneeling.

Bergdahl Walks
[Breitbart] Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl will receive a dishonorable discharge for desertion in Afghanistan but no prison time, a military judge ruled Friday.

Bergdahl was convicted of desertion and endangering fellow troops when he left his post in Afghanistan in 2009 and was captured by the Taliban. He was returned to U.S. custody in 2014 in a prisoner swap.

At the Fort Bragg, N.C., sentencing hearing on Friday, Col. Judge Jeffrey Nance added that Bergdahl must forfeit $10,000 in pay and will be reduced in rank to private.

The ruling followed a two-week sentencing procedure that included testimony from several of Bergdahl’s comrades. He pleaded guilty to the charges on Oct. 16, admitting guilt without prosecution assurances regarding his sentence. On Monday he apologized to those soldiers injured while attempting to rescue him. He also described the conditions under which he was kept by the Taliban, noting he was caged for four of the five years he was held.

Nance did not offer an explanation on Friday for the sentence, which will be reviewed by Gen. Robert Abrams, who convened Bergdahl’s court martial. It can also be reviewed by the U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals.

The preliminary hearing officer’s recommendation of leniency in 2014 prompted a warning from Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., that he would hold a hearing if Bergdahl was not punished. The case was prominently mentioned in campaign speeches by President Donald Trump, who regularly called Bergdahl a “dirty rotten traitor” who deserved execution. Following Trump’s inauguration, Eugene Fidell, who led Bergdahl’s defense team, suggested a fair trial was impossible after Trump’s comments.

And flowers for the guys that died looking for him?

Don't hardly seem like justice to me. Or maybe desertion is just a misdemeanor nowadays.

I realize the dishonorable discharge will follow Bergdahl around but I bet he finds work as a lefty tool somewhere.

It isn't. The legal establishment has forgotten why they exist. Spends a lot of time making excuses for the perps rather than do the nasty stuff they are suppose to do. They lack will to invoke real justice (unless it touches really close to home - see Tim McVeigh).

Amid risks at home Trump heads on longest presidential Asia trip
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Beset by challenges at home, President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
on Friday embarked on the longest trip to Asia by an American president in more than a quarter century, looking for help to pressure North Korea to stand down from a nuclear crisis.

Trump’s tour of Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines from Friday to Nov. 14 will take him out of Washington, where he has been beset by several issues.

These include an intensifying federal investigation into Russian meddling in last year’s election, New York’s recovery from an attack that killed eight people and debate over a tax-cut plan that if approved by Congress would be his first major legislative victory.

The trip began just days after Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, was indicted in the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, faced Democratic calls to appear before Congress again to clarify his previous testimony about the campaign’s Russia contacts.

Amid the furor caused by the revelations, the Kremlin said on Friday a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin
...Second and fourth President and sixth of the Russian Federation and the first to remain sober. Putin is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from polonium poisoning. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to Putin. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead...
was being discussed and Trump said it might happen.

"We may have a meeting with Putin," Trump told Fox News. "And, again - Putin is very important because they can help us with North Korea. They can help us with Syria. We have to talk about Ukraine."

Court documents made public on Monday also disclosed a Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, George Papadopoulos, pleaded guilty last month to lying to the FBI. They cited a March 2016 meeting, attended by Trump and Sessions, in which Papadopoulos offered to help arrange a meeting between candidate Trump and Putin.

While tweeting about developments vigorously this week, Trump told the New York Times

...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

on Wednesday that he was "not angry at anybody" about the case and there was nothing to suggest any collusion by his campaign and Russia.

Commit suicide to protect secrets, Bin Laden diktat to commanders
That doesn't seem to be working as well as intended. I mean, it's not like Mr. Bin Laden managed to kill himself before the SEALs took care of it for him as well as revealing all his secrets.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Files released by the CIA in the Abbottabad
... A pleasant city located only 30 convenient miles from Islamabad. The city is noted for its nice weather and good schools. It is the site of Pakistain's military academy, which was within comfortable walking distance of the residence of the late Osama bin Laden....
raid that killed the late Osama bin Laden
... who doesn't live anywhere anymore...
have revealed that the al-Qaeda leader directed his commanders and closest aides to commit suicide rather than fall into the hands of security forces.

This, according to him, helps hide secrets pertaining to the organization and its financiers and supporters. In a letter, believed to be written by Bin Laden, the leader called on his commanders to kill themselves via the easiest methods to avoid captivity.

Bin Laden specifically directed one of his family members, Abu Abdallah al-Halabi to kill himself if his plan to transfer money from a mediator called Saad fails. In the letter, Bin Laden requests Halabi to detail how he will transport the money and to have a plan in case anything goes wrong.

Jarboaa’s research on suicide
"He must prepare himself and read Abdulaziz al-Jarboaa’s research on suicide to avoid revealing secrets. He must have an easy and simple way to kill himself if it is a must to do so in order to avoid captivity. We recommend all our brothers who have secrets pertaining to jihad to read Jarboaa’s research," Bin Laden wrote in the letter.

Jarboaa, who published his research on a website called the forum of jihad and fatwa, concludes that suicide is permissible when there are fears that secrets - which if revealed may gravely harm Moslems ‐ may be exposed during the operative’s torture or imprisonment leading to their death.

[FINANCE.YAHOO] Special counsel Robert Mueller's grand jury is investigating a prominent Democratic lobbyist and a former GOP congressman for their involvement in an influence campaign on behalf of Ukrainian interests tied to Paul Manafort, according to a person with direct knowledge of the investigation.

At the center of the widening probe are Tony Podesta, a longtime Democratic operative, and Vin Weber, a former GOP congressman and leader of his own high-powered lobbying firm, Mercury LLC. The two men were hired as part of a multimillion-dollar lobbying effort directed by Manafort and longtime associate Rick Gates.

With the emphasis on the Ukrainian lobbying efforts, Mueller's criminal probe is moving beyond investigating ties between the Trump campaign and Russia and is aggressively pursuing people who worked as foreign agents without registering with the Justice Department. More witnesses are expected before the grand jury in coming weeks.

Representatives for Weber's firm and Podesta said they are cooperating with the special counsel's investigation. Podesta, whose brother was the chairman of Perennial Presidential Campaigner Hillary Crooked Hillary Clinton
... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away...
's campaign, has resigned from his firm.

FBI agents working for Mueller are asking witnesses about meetings between Gates, Podesta and Weber to discuss the lobbying work in detail and any communication with representatives of a pro-Russian Ukrainian political party, according to two people familiar with the interviews who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the investigation.

"There were questions about how much Podesta and Vin Weber were involved. There was a lot of interest there," one of them said.

FBI agents also expressed interest in the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, which produced a 2012 report used to justify the jailing of an opposition politician in Ukraine.

#1  Mueller is hard to figure. Is he part of the Swamp or not? If you look at who he surrounds himself with and what he has been involved in, you'd think he is a part of the Swamp. Occasionally, I hear and read otherwise.

#5  One of the problems Mueller has is that he was appointed Special Counsel, not Independent Counsel. It's a different animal, with different legal requirements.
The bottom line is there better be a violation of a law at the other end or the investigator is in trouble.

Why New York’s Uzbeks are unnerved by bearded attack suspect
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Uzbeks in New York’s "Little Uzbekistan" neighborhood were dismayed when they heard one of their countrymen was accused of carrying out Tuesday’s deadly truck attack in the city. But when they saw photos of the suspect, 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov, they were baffled.

It was the wild beard that threw them. No Uzbek, especially a young man, would grow such a thick, untamed beard, they said. People passed around his picture on smartphones, guessing at what seemed to them more likely origins: Pakistain, perhaps, or Afghanistan, or maybe Tajikistan?

Something must have changed this young Uzbek man, they reasoned, in the seven years since he immigrated to the United States.

"In Uzbekistan, with a beard, you cannot walk around looking like that," Ashraf Zakirov said at his office in Brooklyn’s Kensington area, where he shuffles between overlapping jobs as a notary, a real estate agent, a paralegal for Uzbeks navigating immigration laws and a community organizer.

Pushed by a lack of work and strict control of behavior and dissent, millions of Uzbeks have emigrated in recent years.

Uzbek communities
Thousands found their way to New York, which is home to one of the largest Uzbek communities in the United States. Many settled in Brooklyn’s Kensington and Midwood neighborhoods, creating their own Little Uzbekistan.

"Here, there is too much freedom," Zakirov said of what he saw as tolerance in the United States for even the more extreme interpretations of Islam. In Uzbekistan, Islam is the dominant religion but its worship is tightly controlled by a government wary of radicalism.

Like many of his Moslem Uzbek neighbors, Zakirov was appalled Saipov could kill eight people with a pickup truck and convinced he became radicalized after moving to the United States.

"When he came here I guarantee you 150 percent he never had the beard," Zakirov said. Some Moslem men grow beards as a mark of devotion to Mohammad, Islam’s chief prophet. The krazed killer group ISIS has made the practice compulsory in areas it controls.

The wrong mosque?
Bakhtiyor Akramov runs a men’s clothing store in Kensington filled with Hugo Boss and Pierre Cardin. Like many Uzbek men here, including Saipov, he has driven for the Uber ride service.

He said he was not particularly religious but tried to go to the mosque at least on Fridays, and a lack of Uzbek mosques meant he had to go to an Arabic-language one instead. Perhaps, Akramov thought, Saipov, who lived in Paterson, New Jersey, came under bad influences after wandering into the wrong mosque.

"In an Uzbek mosque you don’t have a beard like that," he said. Across the street at the Emir Palace banquet hall, a Central Asian whirl of clarinet and drums greeted a midday Uzbek wedding party of women in glittering clothes and curled hair and men in suits with fresh shaves.

Firdavs Gergiev, the owner, said he had never seen anyone like Saipov at Emir Palace. He pointed to his bar as an explanation, stocked heavily with the vodka and cognac his clients preferred. "I have alcohol, it’s ’haram,’" he said with a casual laugh, meaning banned under Islamic law, a ruling he estimated maybe eight out of ten Uzbeks disregarded.

Gergiev said when he saw images of Saipov he thought he looked like a member of Afghanistan’s radical Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
movement.

One of the wedding guests, Nodira Sidikova, rued Saipov’s actions for distorting the image of her homeland and her faith, which she thought made things harder for her two children.

"We’re proud of our nationality, we’re proud of our people, and we’re upset right now," she said.

Liberal Columnists Attack Sarah Sanders For Her Weight, Southern Accent
[DailyCaller] Two male, liberal columnists this week launched personal attacks against White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.

Los Angeles Times columnist David Horsey mocked Sanders’ appearance, saying she "looks more like a slightly chunky soccer mom who organizes snacks for the kids’ games."

"Rather than the fake eyelashes and formal dresses she puts on for news briefings, Sanders seems as if she’d be more comfortable in sweats and running shoes," Horsey wrote on Wednesday. "Yet, even if Trump privately wishes he had a supermodel for a press secretary, he is lucky to have Sanders."

Another columnist, the New York Times’ Frank Bruni, similarly went out of his way on Friday to bash Sanders for her personal characteristics, in this case her way of speaking.

Bruni wrote that Sanders is "serving a function other than communication, which turns out not to be her forte."

"To listen to her pronounce ’priorities’ is akin to hearing the air seep out of a flat tire, and she leaves half of the consonants on the curb," Bruni added parenthetically, mocking Sanders for her Southern accent.
Keep swingin' for the fences, Libs.

Just for fun, Mr. Trump should offhandedly take a swipe at the Twenty-second Amendment.

Bright Pebbles provides us with a Fox News article on the unfortunately named Mr. Horsey, which adds:
Shortly after Fox News asked for comment, the Times removed all references to Sanders’ appearance and added a note from Horsey.
Whoops!
"I want to apologize to Times readers – and to Sarah Huckabee Sanders -- for a description that was insensitive and failed to meet the standards of our newspaper. It also failed to meet the expectations I have for myself. It surely won’t be my last mistake, but this particular error will be scrupulously avoided in my future commentaries. I’ve removed the offending description,” he wrote.
How about apologizing to Mrs. Trump and Ms Trump? They, too, have been described insensitively. It is not meet to describe successful businesswomen as Barbie dolls, even if they happen to be attractive.

Bin Laden ordered his son to ditch Iran and head to Qatar
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] New revelations from the bin Laden documents released by the CIA on Wednesday show that the former al-Qaeda leader has advised members of his family residing in Iran to move to Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates...
The bin Laden documents show the relationship between his notorious terrorist organization and the government of Iran. Despite the building of a strong framework between Iran and al-Qaeda the late Osama bin Laden
... who doesn't live anywhere anymore...
was distrustful of his allies.

Bin Laden writes that he wanted his son Hamza, the al-Qaeda’s leader in waiting, to leave Iran, where he married and started a family, and head for Qatar to study Sharia sciences in order for him to rest his doubts about performing 'jihad'.

Another letter in the documents that was addressed to one of his wives and three of his children telling them to leave all their belongings in Iran to move to Qatar.

The revelations about al-Qaeda and Iran's relationship documented in bin Laden's hand written notes has been denied by Tehran.

Hamza bin Laden has been placed on the US international terrorism list of since January 2017.

ISIS-linked murder suspect nabbed at Port Authority Bus Terminal
[AOL] Port Authority cops grabbed a murder suspect Wednesday with ties to ISIS at the Midtown bus terminal ‐ less than a day after a lone-wolf terrorist mowed down 20 people in a lower Manhattan bike lane, killing eight, police sources said.

Cops spotted Matthew Passaro, 46, near a Greyhound Bus inside the massive transit hub about 11 a.m., Port Authority front man Joe Pentangelo said.

Passaro, who is homeless and has "pledged allegiance" to ISIS, had a loaded .45-caliber pistol when police recognized him as a suspect in the fatal Sept. 20 shooting of a 47-year-old man in Brooklyn Heights.
A known wolf.
He was taken into custody, and promptly threatened cops.

"You’re lucky I didn’t shoot you," Passaro told the officers.

Passaro is also wanted for an attempted murder in Sacramento, Calif., law enforcement sources said.

He also has ties to the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
and has "had communication" with ISIS members, sources said.
A known wolf who is connected.
Law Enforcement sources said Passaro, who goes by the name Abu Bakar Hassain, frequented the al-Farooq Mosque on Atlantic Ave., a house of worship with ties to blind Sheik Muhammad Ali Hasan al-Moayad, who was convicted of conspiracy in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings as well as a broader "war on urban terrorism."
... very connected...
He is accused of shooting and stabbing Steven Vargas at the corner of Atlantic and Fourth Aves. last month. Vargas died of his wounds at Brooklyn Hospital.
...with a typical history of violent crminality. It's a lifestyle concept, donchaknow.
A surveillance camera recorded Passaro near where Vargas was attacked.

Members of the NYPD/FBI Joint Terrorist Task Force, who had been monitoring Passaro’s MetroCard activity, took him into custody for questioning moments after Port Authority cops grabbed him, sources said.
*snicker*
No charges have been filed.
Yet. Whatever will they find on his cell phone??
Passaro’s arrest comes a day after Sayfullo Saipov killed eight people and maimed 12 others when he drove a rented Home Depot truck down a bike lane along the Hudson River, plowing through bicyclists and pedestrians.

No bond for man who shot himself in the doinker while robbing hot dog stand
[CHICAGO.SUNTIMES] A 19-year-old man who shot himself in the penis after allegedly holding up a South Side hotdog stand Tuesday won’t be going home when he’s released from the hospital.
"We got good news and we got bad news..."
Terrion Pouncy remained at Christ Hospital recovering from his injuries on Thursday, missing a bond hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse on two counts of armed robbery.
"The good news is that you ain't dead."
Pouncy was tossed in the slammer
Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'!
at the Oak Lawn hospital not long after he was found slumped on the steps of a home across the street from a West Pullman restaurant that reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,...
Police say he robbed at gunpoint about 6 a.m. on Halloween.
"My doinker! There's a hole in my doinker!"
Judge Stephanie Miller ordered him held without bond.
"To the dungeon with him!"
[Laughter, applause]

Pouncy was unable to run further because of the pain of a self-inflicted gunshot wound suffered when he tried to adjust the .38-caliber pistol in his waistband as he ran off after robbing Maxwell Street Express at 116th and Halsted, Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Erin Antonietti said in court.
"Feet, don't fail me now! [BANG!] Aaaiiieee! I am unmanned!"
Pouncy had pulled out the gun and demanded cash from two employees, pressing the gun to the head of a 39-year-old worker, Antonietti said.
"Gimme yer dough!"
The victim, who had been passing a bucket filled with grease over the counter, called for his co-worker to hand over the cash from the register.
"Give 'im the dough, Herbert, or I am undone!"
As they passed their wallets and a stack of singles to Pouncy, the bucket tipped and bills went flying, Antonietti said.
"My bucket of grease!"
"Our money!"
"My money!"

Still pointing the gun at the workers, Pouncy stooped over to collect the cash, Antonietti said. Shifting the gun in his waistband
"Is the safety on when it's up or down?"
as he ran out, he apparently pulled the trigger,
[BANG!]
"Up, not down."

firing a bullet that struck him in the penis, Antonietti said.
"Ow. Ow. Ow. Please don't fall off! Ow. Ow."
One of the restaurant employees, 39, then began wrestling with Pouncy as he tried to run away, before he staggered out into the street.
"I got him in a headlock, Herbert! Call Law Enforcement!"
"Ow. Ow."

Surveillance cameras captured video and audio of the robbery, and showed Pouncy struggling to make it across the the street, stop on a bench, and make his way to the steps of a nearby house before collapsing, Antonietti said.
[THUD!]
Police recovered the wallets Pouncy had allegedly stolen from the two men, as well as the .38 caliber pistol.
"Ooo! That's gotta hurt!"
"Ow."

Pouncy’s blood-stained boxers matched the underwear he had on in the surveillance video, which clearly showed the pattern on the fabric when the teen bent over to collect the money that had fallen to the floor, Antonietti said.
"Terrion! Pull your pants up!"
"It's the style, Mom!"

Bin Laden daughter’s letter addressed to Khamenei
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Among the documents related to former al-Qaeda leader the late Osama bin Laden
... who is now beyond all cares and woe...
, released by the CIA, is a letter reportedly sent by his daughter Eman to Iranian leader Ali Khamenei.

Here is a glimpse of what she said in the letter: "From the daughter of Osama bin Laden to the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, this is my message about my aunt, sisters, brothers and sons who were tossed in the calaboose
You have the right to remain silent...
in Iran after they had no choice but to enter the country secretly."

"One year after my family entered Iran, the Iranian security forces arrested them and after we knew this, we mailed the Tehran government many times for their release, pledging not to return to Iran, but to no avail", she wrote.

According to her, after her brother Saad beat feet from prison and told them about the tragic time spent in Iranian prisons, that led to deaths, and psychological disorder, they demanded again that the Iranian regime release the intermediary of scientists and dignitaries of the region.

"But the Tehran government continued procrastination for six years. They held them hostage to extort my father, and instead of releasing them it demanded that al-Qaeda in Iraq stop its fight against forces and militias loyal to the Tehran regime," she writes.

Qaeda and Iran intelligence
Another document, sent by al-Haj Osman (as he called himself) to Maulawi Azmari, a prominent al-Qaeda leader, sheds light on Iran’s support for al-Qaeda operatives. This finds mention in Bin Laden’s correspondence and reveals his role as the link between Iranian intelligence and al-Qaeda.

In the letter, Osman mentions the details of the return of some elements of the organization to Iran to collect funds and fighters and to communicate with the Iranian intelligence.

In this letter, Osman says: "We arranged for the return of our brother Yassine al-Kurdi to Iran, with some brothers, to arrange funds and individuals. He is a very acceptable figure for the Iranians and we stressed that there should be no direct contact between him and them and that they should not know about his location and movements".

He also writes that before the departure of their man, he contacted the intelligence and told them of the decision and arranged for them to pick him up on their own and it was done completely without the knowledge of the Paks. They assured during the communication that they will begin to release the brothers."

The letter also revealed that the Iranian intelligence refused to let Eman Osama bin Laden, daughter of Najwa Ghanem, to go back to Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
and instead forced her to go to Syria with her mother, after they fled in 2009 to the Saudi embassy in Tehran.

Osman’s letter says: "They [Iran] told him that Eman was still with them and they do not agree that she goes to Saudi Arabia. She can go to Syria or come to you and in this case we prefer she goes to Syria and if this is not possible then she can come to us with the family of Brother Ishaq, who will receives the released brothers."

Arabia
Has ‘Sahwa’ ended in Saudi Arabia?
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] I’ve noticed "early" celebrations for the end of the era of Sahwa, i.e.awakening, in Arab Moslem countries and particularly in Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
. Sahwa is a Saudi term that refers to all political Islam movements whose major umbrella is of course the Moslem Brüderbund.

The feeling that the chapter of "Sahwa" has ended once and for all has been growing ever since the Saudi crown prince, the leader of the new national vision, made his famous promise to destroy gunnies "now and immediately."

The sense that "Sahwa" has come to an end is also due to the decrease of that media popularity and semi-social immunity which Sahwa’s stars enjoyed.

Some of these Sahwa "celebrities" are Salman al-Ouda and Awad al-Qarni in Saudi Arabia, Sayyid Qutb and Hassan al-Banna outside the Saudi kingdom, Kuwaiti activists such as Ahmad al-Qattan, Mohammed al-Awdi and Tareq al-Suwaidan and those affiliated with him. These stars’ media popularity has actually been decreasing over the past few years.

Memories and memoirs
What I conclude from all this is that Sahwa, its stars, principles, concepts and causes, have died. They have been buried and all that is left of them are memories and memoirs which only a specific category of researches are interested in.

Let’s remember the domination which Sahwa preachers, whether from the Brotherhood or the Sururist Movement, and their supporters from the public, imposed. By the way, the term "public" here applies to some graduates from American and French universities as it is rather used to describe a state of mind rather than a social one.

Mentioning Sahwa preachers - whether Saudior non-Saudi - in newspapers was very difficult particularly in the 1980’s and during a part of the 1990’s.

The Brotherhood’s works were celebrated at some point. For example, the books of Zainab al-Ghazali and Ahmad Raef about the Brotherhood’s tragic battles with Abdelnasser, occupied front shelves in libraries. Mohammed Qutb’s books were part of school libraries and curricula. Sayyid Qutb was distinguished to the point that a school was named after him in Qassim.

Betrayal
The Brotherhood lost part of this appreciation when they betrayed Saudi Arabia after Saddam Hussein occupied Kuwait. The former crown prince and later interior minister Nayef bin Abdulaziz bitterly spoke about the Brotherhood’s betrayal and began to gradually eliminate the group’s concepts from the society.

The situation became even clearer due to the Brotherhood’s practices during the Arab Spring. It turned out there’s no difference between a Brotherhood member who is holding a weapon and a Brotherhood member who wears a tie. They’re all the same.

What’s worrying now is relying on this "temporary" Sahwist Brotherhood defeat and not constantly and comprehensively working to clear minds and spirits that are interacting with these fundamentalists’ legacy.

We’re at the beginning of the task. Yes, we should be hopeful but it’s not time to celebrate yet.

US citizen arrested in Zimbabwe, accused of insulting Mugabe
[ABC] Zimbabwe police have charged a United States citizen with subversion for allegedly insulting President Robert Mugabe on Twitter as a "sick man," lawyers said Friday. The offense carries up to 20 years in prison.

It was the first arrest made since Mugabe last month appointed a minister for cybersecurity, the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights said, a move criticized by activists as aimed at clamping down on social media users. Zimbabwe was shaken last year by the biggest anti-government protests in a decade.

Police picked up 25-year-old Martha O'Donovan on Friday morning in the capital, Harare, U.S. Embassy spokesman David McGuire told The Associated Press.

Police accuse O'Donovan of tweeting "We are being led by a selfish and sick man," from the Twitter handle @matigary, said her lawyer, Obey Shava with Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights. The tweet had a photo illustration of the 93-year-old Mugabe with a catheter, the charge sheet said.

O'Donovan has been charged with undermining the authority of or insulting the president, Shava said. She later said O'Donovan faced additional charges of subverting a constitutionally elected government.

"I deny the allegations leveled against me as baseless and malicious," O'Donovan said in a signed statement shown to the AP.

O'Donovan had been working with local social media outlet Magamba TV, whose target audience is youth, Shava said. The outlet describes itself as producing "satirical comedy sensations." O'Donovan, a graduate of New York University, has called herself a manager for Magamba TV and a "media activist." Earlier this year, she presented a talk at a re:publica digital culture conference on "How Zimbabweans Rebel Online."

#3  One must recognize that 60,000 to 80,000 years of tribal, majority rule was torn asunder by the evils of colonialism. It may take several more decades for change agents such as Mugabe, Mandela, and Obama to put things right.

O'Donovan is of course a klueless racist.

#2  I suspect Sessions has to focus on trafficking since everything else seems to be Russian-related. Wiener's laptop opened the spigot--the Clinton cesspool has smelly trails but President Trump will be blamed as the Nazi Fascist shutting down their "rights" to be lawless "heathens" immune from accountability and entitled to their "fair share" which they have not worked for. The entitled arrogant elites treat others as property & do indefensible atrocities while demanding respect. Respect is earned and love freely given. Those who do not get the principle of equality & impartiality are supremacists of some flavor, and against American principles. Those seeking justice have become enemies of the state but we have the right to self-defense. We need to go Wild, Wild West on them. The 'Doctrine of Discovery',, based upon a papal bull currently incorporated into US law, would allow the Trump administration to put the heathens on government reservations in the territories, & shot if they left the grounds, just as they did in the Indian Territories. Revolving door incarceration of the incorrigible, catering to diet whims, and even the death penalty is cost prohibitive, so maybe an open door design of a self-contained facility where residents have to be self-sufficient in their banned community would work. No guards, medics, or cooks with only snipers to target those who dare to venture outside. Better yet, a oneway ticket to the moon....

China-Japan-Koreas
Beijing ridicules Seventh Fleet after warships' collisions
[AsiaTimes] A semi-submersible ship ‐ reportedly Chinese-built ‐ has been deployed to tow the badly damaged USS John S McCain back to its home port in Yokosuka, Japan, after the 8,300-ton guided-missile destroyer’s collision in August that claimed the lives of 10 of its crew, and left another five injured.

Virginia-based Navy Times has reported that the destroyer USS O’Kane will be on ad hoc secondment to the Western Pacific to fill the "void" left by the McCain and Fitzgerald, as the two damaged warships will have to undergo an emergency refit and will remain out of service for at least a year.

Pro-Beijing military commentators say the big holes in the two destroyers caused by the early-morning collisions ‐ said to be the size of a tennis court ‐ have laid bare the Pentagon’s flabby oversight and discipline, stressing that both the McCain and the Fitzgerald used to patrol the South China Sea and "provocatively" intrude on Beijing’s sovereignty.

The fact that seamen on the sinking Fitzgerald, after a blackout that downed all electronic devices, had to use a private cellphone to send SOS signals has evoked much derision among fans of the Chinese military, as they jeered that ships of the ace US Seventh Fleet couldn’t even sail properly at night and therefore posed a grave danger to other vessels, as such collisions occurred not just once but twice.

Some have gone so far as to call the US Navy a "paper tiger" on the sea.

Hu Bo, of Peking University’s Ocean Strategy Research Institute, told Guangzhou-based Southern Weekly that the Seventh Fleet and the Pacific Fleet as a whole, the largest of the forward-deployed US fleets, might be overstretched by a host of drills and peacekeeping operations in response to the region’s heightened geopolitical tensions, ranging from the North Korea nuclear and missile crisis to the South China Sea territorial row, as well as boosting defense for its treaty allies, in particular South Korea and Japan.

"The fleet finds itself in a manpower and hardware crunch even though its ships and soldiers have to patrol more waters on a more hectic [schedule].... Frontline soldiers are tired and they receive inadequate training," Hu said.

DNC fires its top fundraiser
[POLITICO] The Democratic National Committee dismissed its top fundraiser Thursday after just five months on the job, two Democrats familiar with the move told POLITICO.

Emily Mellencamp Smith, the party’s finance director, was let go in a shake-up of the party’s big shotship designed to energize the party's fundraising.

"We are grateful for Emily Mellencamp Smith’s work to help build a fundraising team that will raise the funds to win in 2017, 2018 and beyond. Emily is going back to consulting and helping elect Democrats in upcoming races, including staying on in a consulting role for the DNC at this time," said DNC press secretary Michael Tyler.

8 Iran soldiers killed in clashes with 'terrorists'
[DAWN] Eight Iranian soldiers were killed in festivities with "terrorist groups" on the border with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
on Friday, the official IRNA news agency reported.

"This afternoon, during festivities between border guards and terrorist groups, the latter suffered several losses but unfortunately eight members of the security forces were martyred," the agency quoted Alireza Radfar, a deputy governor in West Azerbaijan province as saying, without giving further details.

Friday's festivities took place in Chaldoran county bordering Turkey. On October 26, the authorities also announced the death of four "terrorists" in the county.

Chaldoran country in Iran's far northwest is mainly populated by Kurds and Ottoman Turkish-speaking minority Azeris.

Security forces in the Islamic republic often clash with separatists or terrorist groups along the country's western borders with Turkey and Iraq.
