Dinner with Deep State: Former Top DOJ Official Tells All on Mueller, Comey, McCabe and Punk Peter Strzok
A former Department Head in the DOJ expressed his anger and shame with his former agency in an exclusive discussion with The Gateway Pundit. We were told that current and former agents throughout the FBI feel the same way. They are repulsed by the corruption of the recent leadership in the Department of Justice.

We interviewed a former Head of a major department under the Justice Department. We’ve kept the identity of the individual anonymous and will refer to this person as "Mr DOJ". Here are the notes from our discussion.

Mr. DOJ started off by commenting that former leaders in the FBI are ’pissed’ and ’ashamed’ of the recent actions taken by the corrupt leadership at the FBI. Both current and past leaders within and retired from the FBI are very upset with the current leaders within the FBI who committed what they describe as criminal acts.

Hillary Clinton

We spoke to Mr. DOJ in 2016 after Former FBI Director James Comey announced that he was not going to recommend charges for Hillary Clinton in the email scandal. Mr. DOJ said at the time that Comey let Hillary off because Comey wanted to get out the information on Hillary’s crimes before the election and the only way to do this was to announce them and then let her off easy. Mr. DOJ stated then that if Comey had pressed charges, he thought that all of this would be buried until after the election and the American people would never know. Mr. DOJ implied that he spoke with Comey directly about Comey’s actions but this was not verified at the time.

Now Mr. DOJ says that it appears that Comey was contacting leaders within the Justice Department both current and retired to share the narrative noted above. Mr. DOJ mentioned he has a picture signed by Comey with himself which he took down and will no longer put on his wall. Mr. DOJ can’t stand Comey and is very angry about the actions that Comey and others at the DOJ and FBI took that he sees as criminal.

Former and current DOJ leadership are very discouraged, angered and ashamed of James Comey’s actions. Mr. DOJ says Comey’s actions to leak information to the press were "criminal." Comey is no longer respected in any way by the current and former leaders in the FBI.

Mr. DOJ said that if he had done what Hillary Clinton did with classified information he’d be in prison. The information Hillary stored on her server included extremely classified material. Some of the items were so classified that for anyone to see them they would have to go into a special room at a special location and leave their phone behind. Also, Mr. DOJ said that anyone with the ability to see the classified information that Clinton had access to is constantly reminded by the DOJ that classified information should be handled appropriately and with care.

Hillary lied when she said that she didn’t know the information was classified.

FISA

Mr. DOJ stated that he prepared and presented FISA applications to the FISA Court. The reason that the rate of applications approved is so high is because the standards are so high with the court. Mr. DOJ knows that applications have to be well written and cover all the bases before being provided to the court. He reviewed applications for a time and was responsible for reviewing them. They had to be perfect when they went to the court. When the FISA applications were sent to the FISA Court to spy on President Trump, the fact that any information was omitted or hidden from the court, was a criminal act.

Inspector General

Mr. DOJ believes that the report coming out from the IG will detail many criminal acts. The reason he believes this is because the key individuals who are involved in the FISA and Hillary scandals (e.g. McCabe and Strzok) are all lawyering up.

We asked what about the IG finding the texts between Strzok and Page and notifying Mueller and not the Congress. Mr. DOJ stated that that is standard protocol. If the IG finds someone doing criminal activity the proper action would be to inform the related party’s supervisor ASAP.

We also asked why did the IG turn the 5 months of lost Strzok and Page text messages over to the FBI and not Congress after the DOJ had said they lost these text messages. Again, according to Mr. DOJ, this was proper procedure and the IG had no duty to hand these over to Congress as the IG works for the DOJ and not Congress. Also, Mr. DOJ said that it was lie when the FBI said they lost the text messages. "The FBI doesn’t lose anything." Congress can request these text messages from the IG if they wish.

Overall, Mr. DOJ believes that the IG report will be very damning to current and former DOJ employees.

Trump and Mueller

Mr. DOJ said that that President Trump should never sit for an interview with Mueller. He said that he and Mueller’s team could easily get the President or anyone to lie when in a question and answer session. It is easy. Often times the FBI and DOJ would get those they were interrogating to lie and then state that it’s 5 years in prison for lying under oath and use this as a measure to get people to talk.

Mr. DOJ knows Mueller, Comey, McCabe, Strzok and all the leadership at the FBI and DOJ in the news. McCabe was always trying to move ahead. Strzok was a punk. Lisa Page was a slut. It is sick what they were doing. He is disgusted with Comey.

He doesn’t know why Mueller ever took the case. He has many reasons to recuse himself. The investigation is tainted because of this. Overall, Mr. DOJ doesn’t believe anyone will get charged. His significant other disagrees.

We mentioned that we believe that the Manafort suit of Mueller, Rosenstein and the DOJ will shut down the Mueller investigation. We also hope that the real crooks will then be investigated and thrown in prison.

#4  I realize it’s a lot to ask, but if Mr. DOJ is the real deal, he has a moral and ethical obligation to do the right thing and blow the whistle on this whole charade.

Are there any good guys left in the FBI or DOJ with the requisite credibility to end this highly corrosive nonsense by coming forward with the truth?

I know I would celebrate the individual who does it as the American hero they are.

Muslim Women Win $180K After they Were Forced to Remove Hijabs for Mugshot
Does this seem screwed-up to anyone else? Paying perps $180K for mugshots?
[GatewayPundit] Three Muslim women won $180,000 for their suffering after they were arrested and forced to remove their hijabs for their mugshots.

The Muslim women said they felt exposed and violated after they were forced to remove their hijabs for mugshots.

One of the women, Mervat Soliman, 53, was arrested after a tussle with mother-daughter neighbors over a parking spot near her Glendale home in January 2015.

"New York City will have to pay out $180,000 to three Muslim women after forcing them to take off their hijabs for mugshots.

Three lawsuits were settled Monday in Brooklyn federal court stemming from the NYPD policy of photographing people wearing religious head coverings, the New York Daily News reported. The three women settled for $60,000 each.

Some cases date to 2012, when a high school girl ‐ identified as "G.E." ‐ was arrested after a brawl with two other girls whom she thought spread gossip about her.

G.E. was initially brought to a local police station and was told to take off her hijab. G.E. refused and was taken to a secluded room where a female police officer took her photo outside the presence of any men, the Daily News reported.

But at Brooklyn Central Booking the police could not accommodate the girl’s religious needs, telling her that there were not any female officers available and that the camera is in a fixed spot, thus the mugshot could not be taken in a private room.

The girl alleged that a male officer then took her photo without a hijab, making her feel "exposed, violated and distraught" as she was forced to be without the Islamic garb for 20 minutes while male officers and prisoners looked at her."

India-Pakistan
A New Strand of Islamist Extremism in Pakistan
The emergence of violent Barelvi extremism in Pakistan was brought sharply to the country’s attention last year when Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah, an Islamist political party, staged an almost month-long sit-in that later turned violent.

#1  More from the article:

Most militant Islamist organizations in South Asia—and particularly in Pakistan—adhere to either the Deobandi-Sunni or Ahl-e-Hadith (Salafist) schools of Islam. Prominent among these are Deobandi organizations like Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Harkat ul Jihad-e-Islami, Harkat ul Mujahedeen, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Omar and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Meanwhile, al-Qaeda, Islamic State, Waliyat-e-Khurasan, Hizb-ut Tahrir and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) adhere to the Salafist tradition.

By contrast, before the emergence of Tehreek-i-Labaik, no Islamist organization belonging to the Barelvi sect of Sunni Islam had been involved in violent activities. Sunni Tehreek, a Barelvi group that is now part of Tehreek-i-Labaik, was considered by some to have violent tendencies, but it was not a designated terrorist organization.

Yep, you could say the same thing about Gaza...if the Jews didn't want it after the Yom Kippur was, you just know its a real pile. The Israelis can literally make paradise out of anything, witness the Negev, but they didn't want Gaza.

It is interesting though, as much trouble as the Philistines gave the Hebrews back in the day, you would think there would be enough institutional angst to at least want to raze everything in Gaza to the ground and piss on the rubble...

113 East African Refugees, Including Somali Migrants Relocated To Italy
[RadioShabelle] A group of 113 Eritrea
...is run by the People's Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ), with about the amounts of democracy and justice you'd expect from a party with that name. National elections have been periodically scheduled and cancelled; none have ever been held in the country. The president, Isaias Afewerki, has been in office since independence in 1993 and will probably die there of old age...
n, Somali and South Sudanese refugees who were living in Æthiopia’s refugee camps have left here for Italia on Monday through a relocation program.

The 113 refugees, who are relocated to Italia as part of the "Humanitarian Corridor" initiative, include 88 Eritreans, 22 South Sudanese, and 3 Somalis, who had resided in Æthiopia’s refugee camps for some time.

The Humanitarian Corridor program, which envisages rebuilding the lives of a total of 500 refugees, is an initiative established by the Italian Government in partnership with several humanitarian and faith-based- organizations, the Æthiopian refugee agency (ARRA) and the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
refugee agency (UNHCR).

Zeynu Jemal, Deputy Director of Æthiopian Administration for Refugee and Returnee Affairs (ARRA), said the initiative is an important step forward in "changing the lives of refugees as it also gives them hope and one way of curbing illegal secondary movements out of camps."

"We value and greatly commend the Government of Italia’s contribution to creating a world more open to refugees and to the advancement of comprehensive responses to refugee situation," Jemal added.

According to ARRA, half of the 113 refugees that were relocated to Italia are minors, including South Sudanese children born in Pugnido’s Refugee Camp in Æthiopia’s Gambella Regional state.

Some 25 refugees from Somalia, Eritrea, and South Sudan left for Italia as part of the initiative’s first round of relocation program in December last year.

The humanitarian corridor initiative is designed through a personalized method of accompaniment and integration with an Italian host family and community, it was noted.

The initiative is said to be a response mechanism as refugees often risk their lives crossing the Sinai desert, Libya and the Mediterranean Sea with the aim of reaching Europe
...also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
through the support of illegal human smugglers and traffickers.

Secret al-Qaeda memo: We must recruit and manipulate ‘ignorant’ Muslims
It has been a perennial complaint that the jihadi recruits are as ignorant as pigs in mud.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] In the series of Abbottabad
... A pleasant city located only 30 convenient miles from Islamabad. The city is noted for its nice weather and good schools. It is the site of Pakistain's military academy, which was within comfortable walking distance of the residence of the late Osama bin Laden....
files, discovered in the late Osama bin Laden
... who is now sometimes referred to as Mister Bones...
's house which was raided by the US military in Abbottabad, northern Pakistain in 2011, one document has exposed particularly sensitive information.

It reveals that al-Qaeda targeted "common" and "ignorant" recruits worldwide, as stated by the group’s Libyan military commander Abu Yahya al-Libi.

Abu Yahya was al-Qaeda’s second-in-command after Ayman al-Zawahri and was killed in a dronezap in the North Wazoo region of Pakistain.

The document dated Monday, 29 March, 2010 was an internal bulletin sent to al-Qaeda members. It read: "Warning: To be published among the media, but not for public publication, a special message to the brothers of the jihadist media."

Recruiting and inciting ’common people’
Terms of the group’s recruitment were defined by Abu Yahya, who wrote: "Concentrate on your speeches and publications on the Moslem common people, do not to indulge in discussions with the so-called ’elites,’ they are the most beneficial to the jihad, because they are mostly pure and full of goodness, even they have failed in some sins. However,
a woman is only as old as she admits...
their thoughts are not contaminated with corruption and do not have the complex ignorance [of common Moslems]."

Abu Yahya added: "As you know, most of the common people do not realize the truth of the scientific discussions and political analysis, but they are incited by emotions."

Previously released documents show the strains of managing al-Qaeda’s external networks, including identifying capable leaders and finding resources to fund operations abroad.

Dear John:
well, we all thought the big problem for our US democracy was Citizens
United/Koch Brothers big money in politics. Silly us; turns out that money
isn't all that important if you can conflate entertainment with the
electoral process. Trump masters TV, TV so-called news picks up and repeats
and repeats to death this opinionated blowhard and his hairbrained ideas,
free-floating discontent attaches to a seeming strongman and were off and
running. JFK, Jr would be delighted by all this as his 'George' magazine saw
celebrity politics coming. The magazine struggled as it was ahead of its
time but now looks prescient. George, of course, played the development
pretty lightly, basically for charm and gossip, like People, but what we are
dealing with now is dead serious. How does this get handled in the general?
Secretary Clinton is not an entertainer, and not a celebrity in the Trump,
Kardashian mold; what can she do to offset this? I’m certain the
poll-directed insiders are sure things will default to policy as soon as the
conventions are over, but I think not. And as I've mentioned, we’ve all
been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire
to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry. The unawareness remains
strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly. This problem demands
some serious, serious thinking — and not Just poll driven,
demographically-inspired messaging.

Terror Networks
US designates 'Daesh-Egypt', other ISIS affiliates as terrorist groups
[AlAhram] The US Department of State designated on Wednesday "ISIS-Egypt" as a terrorist group as part of new designations of ISIS groups and individuals in several countries, saying it will continue to target ISIS and "deny it access to the US financial system."

The designation also included 40 ISIS leaders and groups in Tunisia, Somalia, Nigeria, Bangladesh and the Philippines.

"These designations are part of a larger comprehensive plan to defeat [ISIS] in coordination with the 75-member global coalition to defeat the group," a statement said.

The ISIS-Egypt group has grabbed credit for terrorist attacks in Egypt's Wahat region, the Nile Delta and Upper Egypt.

ISIS-Egypt most recently claimed an attack by a gunman on a Coptic church in Helwan, south of Cairo, which killed nine people in December.

In April 2014, the US designated the North Sinai-based ISIS affiliate Ansar Beit al-Maqdis as a terrorist organization.

In January, the US State Department placed on its terror list two other Egyptian terrorist groups, Hasm and Lewaa al-Thawra
...The Revolution Brigade, which along with Hasm (Decisiveness or Determination) is one of the fighting arms of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, established to fight back against the overthrow of President Morsi...

Manila Hails US Move to Blacklist Local IS-Linked Groups

groups, including one which occupied the southern city of Marawi last year, triggering a months-long battle.

The US State Department and the Department of Treasury designated the Maute group and the Dawlatul Islamiyah Waliyatul Masrik as "terrorist organizations" on Tuesday, blocking US-based assets belonging to them or their supporters and barring Americans from dealing with them.

"The (move) is an affirmation of what Philippine authorities already know -- that the Maute Group and the Dawlah-Islamiya are terrorist groups that need to be dealt with decisively using the full force of the law," a statement by the defence ministry in Manila said.

"They will be denied access to the US financial system and will face sanctions as may be deemed appropriate, making it more difficult for them to conduct their activities in the Philippines and abroad."

Militants from the Maute group were routed from Marawi last October after a five-month battle sparked by its bid to establish an IS caliphate in the largely Catholic country's southern Mindanao region.

The US, a long-time defence ally, helped Philippine forces with intelligence input, including reconnaissance flights, during the fighting which claimed more than 1,100 lives and reduced large parts of the city to rubble.

However the Philippine military warned last week that remaining members of the group have recruited about 200 button men to mount another attempt.

The Dawlatul Islamiyah, or Dawlah-Islamiya as designated by the Philippine defence ministry, is a smaller faction also based in Mindanao.

"We are profoundly committed to preventing ISIS from gaining (a) foothold in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia, and we should continue working together on this objective," Philippine Foreign Undersecretary Ernesto Abella told news hounds, using an acronym for IS.

Brigadier-General Bienvenido Datuin, front man for the Philippine military, said the US move would boost local counter-terrorism efforts.

"(A) specific advantage... is the checking of money trail, financial sources, logistics lines and conduits of terror groups in foreign countries that may have connections with local violent myrmidons," he said.

Other armed Philippine groups that have made the US terror blacklist in previous years include the New People's Army, waging a decades-old Maoist armed rebellion, and the Abu Sayyaf
...also known as al-Harakat al-Islamiyya, an Islamist terror group based in Jolo, Basilan and Zamboanga. Egyptian army communique #12 agglomerates four days of effort

Egypt says 3 soldiers killed in Sinai fighting
Herewith two reports presented, dear Reader, so you can choose for yourself what to believe.
[IsraelTimes] Egypt’s military says three soldiers, including an officer, were killed while fighting jihadists in the Sinai Peninsula.

Military spokesman Col. Tamer al-Rifai says three other officers and four conscripts were wounded in the fighting on Tuesday, which killed 11 jihadists.

The troops were taking part in a countrywide offensive announced February 9. The army says it has destroyed hundreds of targets and killed dozens of fighters. The latest casualties bring the army’s total death toll to 10 since the operation began.

The figures cannot be independently confirmed as press access is severely restricted.

11 'takfiris' killed in Egypt's Sinai in raids, foiled suicidal attack: Army

[AlAhram] Eleven "takfiris" were killed by the Egyptian army during ongoing Operation Sinai 2018 operations over the past four days, the armed forces said on Tuesday.

Army spokesman Tamer El-Refaie said in communiqué number 12 that "four extremely dangerous takfiris" were eliminated as the forces foiled a suicide attack by the terrorist elements, who were wearing explosive belts and military uniforms.

The Arabic word "takfiri" refers to extremist Sunni Muslims who accuse other Muslims of being infidels, often as a justification for using violence against them.

Seven others were killed by the armed forces following a shootout during a raid on a terrorist hideout in Al-Arish, with three AK-47 assault rifles and two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) seized.

According to the statement, a non-commissioned officer and two soldiers were killed in the combat operations. Seven army personnel, including an officer, were also injured.

Twenty targets and locations used by the terrorists for launching attacks were hit by the air force, which also struck 185 other targets, including hideouts and weapon stores, said the statement.

An underground cache of weapons was found by the armed forces, who also destroyed 375 other hideouts and trenches filled with explosives, narcotics and fuel. Eighteen cars and 71 unlicensed motorcycles were also destroyed.

Two 4x4 vehicles laden with explosives and ammunition were discovered as they attempted to cross into Egypt and were destroyed by the air force.

The army's border guards thwarted an attempt to smuggle 30 firearms and foil four illegal immigration attempts, arresting 419 infiltrators of different nationalities.

More than 1,750 kilograms of ready-to-sell narcotics were also seized after the armed forces discovered and destroyed 36 farms growing marijuana and opium poppies.

The army added that its military engineers detected and destroyed two tunnel openings measuring 1.5 by 2 metres wide and 15 meters deep, also detonating and neutralizing 27 explosive devices that were planted to target troops in the area.

The army said that 641 people suspected being of criminals were arrested, bringing the number of those arrested since the launch of the operation in the first week of February to 2,235 people.

The authorities have released 1,447 people following identity checks and confirmation that they were not involved in illegal activities.

The counter-terrorist operation, which was launched on 9 February, involves land, naval and air forces, as well as the police and border guards.

It targets "terrorist and criminal elements and organizations" in northern and central Sinai, as well as parts of the Nile Delta and the Western Desert, as announced by the military at the start of the operation.

Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan visits Royal Court media, research center
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Saudi advisor Saud al-Qahtani welcomed the visit of Prince Bandar bin Sultan to the Center for Studies and Media Affairs at the Royal Court in Riyadh.

The visit lasted 12 hours, during which a number of briefings were presented and Prince Bandar bin Sultan gave a four-hour historical lecture on politics and security.

"I and my colleagues were honored by the presence of Prince Bandar bin Sultan, a political legend, at the Center for Studies and Media Affairs " al-Qahtani wrote on Twitter.

"Prince Bandar bin Sultan honored us with the following words of encouragement in the Register of Senior Visitors, which is an honor on all of our publications at the Royal Court center," he added.

Prince Bandar bin Sultan is a former ambassador of Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
to Washington. His daughter is Princess Reema bint Bandar, currently President of the Saudi Federation for Community Sports while his son Prince Khalid bin Bandar is the current Saudi ambassador to Germany.

Mohammed al-Jubouri, front man of the Nineveh police command, was quoted by DPA saying that Islamic State’s "governor of Qayyara" ( a town south of Mosul), Idris (Abu Maryam) al-Kayed, and the group’s regional mufti, Salem (Abu Aesha) al-Luhaibi, were both arrested by the forces upon receiving intelligence information about their presence at an abandoned house.

He said the information was that the pair fled Mosul with fake IDs towards a village in Qayyara.

They had both been behind several beheadings of Iraqi civilians and security members.

Iraqi Troops Report Islamic State ‘Re-emergence’ Where Kurdish Peshmerga Removed
[Breitbart] In an interview with Bas News, Ahmed Askari, a member of the Kurdish-held Kirkuk Provincial Council, dismissed as false the Iraqi military’s allegation of an ISIS re-emergence in northern Iraq, a region primarily controlled by the autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

However,
a woman is only as old as she admits...
Kurdistan 24 reports:

Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(IS) turbans on Saturday launched an attack on an oil field in Kirkuk Province, killing at least two coppers. A security source from Kirkuk said a group of IS forces of Evil attacked the Khabaza oil field in the disputed province, killing at least two coppers and wounding another one.The security source added that police reinforcements were sent to the site of the attack but did not reveal whether any of the oil wells were also targeted by the Lion of Islam group.

Relations between Baghdad and the KRG deteriorated since the Kurds approved an independence referendum in September Iraq 2017, prompting military festivities between the two sides.

Aided by Baghdad-sanctioned Shiite militias affiliated with Iran, the Iraqi military seized Kirkuk last October from the KRG’s Peshmerga forces.

"Since the military takeover of Kirkuk and other disputed territories by Iraqi forces and Hashd al-Shaabi militias, the security situation in the region has tanked," notes Kurdistan 24.

Kurds remain the majority portion of the population of Kirkuk,
... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time...
also home to Arabs, Turkmen, and Christians.

U.S. and Iraqi officials cautioned that ISIS remains a threat soon after Baghdad declared victory over the terrorist group in December, acknowledging that pockets of the jihadists remained in the country.

In late January, NBC News learned from Hisham al-Hashimi, an adviser to Baghdad in its fight against ISIS, that "while the number of active fighters on the battlefield is probably in the range of 1,000 to 1,500, the actual number of ISIS-loyalists in Iraq and Syria is closer to 10,000."

In its latest World Wide Threat Assessment, the U.S. intelligence community noted:

Over the next year, we expect that ISIS is likely to focus on regrouping in Iraq and Syria, enhancing its global presence, championing its cause, planning international attacks, and encouraging its members and sympathizers to attack in their home countries. ISIS’s claim of having a functioning caliphate that governs populations is all but thwarted.

ISIS core has started‐and probably will maintain‐a robust insurgency in Iraq and Syria as part of a long-term strategy to ultimately enable the reemergence of its so-called caliphate. This activity will challenge local CT [counterterrorism] efforts against the group and threaten US interests in the region. ISIS almost certainly will continue to give priority to transnational terrorist attacks.

Torture of blasphemy suspect, cousin: Departmental action recommended against four FIA officials
[DAWN] The committee formed to probe into torture of a blasphemy suspect on Monday recommended departmental action against four interrogators of the Federal Investigation Agency.

The inquiry committee has sent its recommendations to the FIA Director General Bashir Ahmed Memon for further action.

The FIA director general had formed a committee led by Additional Director Syed Farid Ali Shah to investigate the incident in which the suspect, Sajid Masih, jumped off fourth storey of the building that housed agency offices, suffering critical injuries.

The inquiry was conducted against Inspector Khalid Saeed Shah, forensic department official Ali Afroz and two other officials for their alleged involvement in the torture and abuse of Masih during interrogation.

The suspect had alleged that an FIA team led by Inspector Shah subjected him to torture and tried to force him to "sexually assault" his cousin Patras Masih, who was enjugged
Book 'im, Mahmoud!
for posting blasphemous material on social media. He said he refused to comply with the "orders" and jumped off the building.

One of the committee members told Dawn on condition of anonymity that the probe had been completed after recording of statements of FIA staff and Sajid Masih.

He said the probe found the four members of investigating team guilty of negligence and suggested departmental action against them.

Meanwhile,
...back at the dirigible, the pilot and the copilot had both hit the silk.

Jack! Cynthia exclaimed. Do you know how to drive one of these things?

Jack wiped some of the blood from his knuckles.

No, he said. Do you?...

the Cecil & Iris Chaudhry Foundation (CICF) president Ms Michelle Chaudhry expressed serious concern over the incident.

"We are outraged, shocked and horrified by the alleged behavior of the FIA Cyber crime Wing officials. We demand that the incident be investigated at the earliest and firm action be taken against the officials involved. These acts of brutality cannot be overlooked," she said.

US court rules against aliens awaiting deportation
[DAWN] The US Supreme Court on Tuesday curbed the ability of immigrants colonists held in long-term detention during deportation proceedings to argue for their release in a ruling in sync with President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
’s get-tough approach toward immigration.

The court’s conservative justices carried the day in a 5-3 decision that overturned a lower court’s ruling that required that immigrants colonists held by the US government who are awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings get a bond hearing after six months of detention to seek their release.

The ruling could lead to indefinite detentions of certain classes of immigrants colonists, including some with legal status who the government wants to deport.

The court’s five conservatives were in the majority in the ruling written by Justice Samuel Alito, and three liberals dissented, including Justice Stephen Breyer, who sharply criticised the decision. Another liberal, Justice Elena Kagan, did not participate in the ruling.

Class action litigation brought by the American Civil Liberties Union challenged the government’s practice of placing immigrants colonists facing deportation proceedings in detention for months or years without a chance to argue for release.

Chancellor Merkel enters 'Germans only' food bank furore
[BBC] German Chancellor Angela Merkel is the latest politician to criticise a major food bank's decision to bar foreigners from receiving free food.
“Blither, blither, blither, rant!” she said.
The charity Essener Tafel called it a temporary restriction necessary because the share of foreigners using the food bank had soared to 75% in recent years.

The charity says it helps about 16,000 poor people in Essen, a city in the western industrial Ruhr region.

Foreigners registered for the handouts before Essener Tafel's new rule took effect last month can still use the food bank.

Mrs Merkel spoke out against the requirement to show a German passport in order to receive food.

Essener Tafel head Jörg Sartor said the restriction had nothing to do with xenophobia; he said it was all about fairness, because large numbers of elderly women and single mothers had stopped coming to Essener Tafel.
They’re already being shoved out of their homes to make way for the colonists, so why not starve them to death, too.
Data from Germany's national migration agency BAMF shows that NRW has the highest number of asylum claims among the German states.
Tomorrow belongs to me. I hate that song from Cabaret, but it suits here. When Frau Merkel dies, may God send her to the deepest circle of Hell, the one reserved for traitors and evil counsellors.

Israel suspends taxation legislation for Jerusalem's churches
[Al Jazeera] The Church of the Holy Sepulchre has announced it will reopen its doors after Israel decided to suspend legislation regarding collecting taxes from churches and their properties in Jerusalem.

Following international pressure and rising protests from Paleostinian Christians, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the formation of a committee to discuss the imposition of the property tax, or arnona, on Jerusalem's churches.

The decision came following a meeting between Netanyahu and the Israeli mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barakat, and after one of the holiest sites in Christianity, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, closed its doors on Sunday in protest against the proposed legislation.

The committee will be headed by Tzachi Hanegbi, the Israeli minister of regional cooperation.

#1  The taxation is on the rental and commercial properties the various Christian churches own in and around Jerusalem, including the land on which the Knesset, Israel’s parliament sits, and on sales to private developers. The legislation would extend to the churches the same treatment meted out to synagogues.

Mashal Khan, a student of the Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, was lynched by a mob of students, university staff and outsiders on April 13 last year after he was wrongly alleged to have committed blasphemy.

The bench seized with appeals against the ATC verdict, after hearing detailed arguments of the advocate general and retired Justice Fazal-e-Haq Abbasi, who appeared on behalf of the appellants, decided to set the 25 people free until a final decision on their appeals.

Caribbean-Latin America
Colombia's 'fake' peace in tatters
[Al Jazeera] Back in September 2016, at the 71st United Nations
...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense...
General Assembly, Colombia's President Juan Manuel Santos triumphantly announced "the end of war in Colombia".

Since 2012, Santos' government had been negotiating with the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), an gang that fought the Colombian state for over 50 years. In August 2016, negotiators announced a final agreement to end the conflict that had left 220,000 people dead and displaced millions. Last year, the rebel group relaunched as a political party, changing their logo of rifles for a red rose.

But the historic deal that brought peace to Colombia is now failing. This should come as no surprise after the political gymnastics Santos was forced to perform following the Colombian public's initial rejection of the treaty in an October 2016 referendum. For Colombia, this means an uncertain and problematic presidential election later this year and, worse, a possible end to an already wobbly peace.

The Grand Turk
Turkey TV anchor's 'killing civilians' remark sparks outrage
[Al Jazeera] A Ottoman Turkish conservative news anchor has caused outrage with televised comments he made while criticising claims that civilians were being killed in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
's ongoing offensive in northern Syria.

In his morning show on national Akit TV, Ahmet Keser said he would start in the predominantly secular neighbourhoods of Istanbul and the Ottoman Turkish parliament if he intended to kill what he called civilian "traitors".

"[Claim is that] the army of Republic of Turkey is killing civilians ... Why would it? Why would army of Turkey be there if there were civilians there? Why would the army of Turkey go there to kill civilians?" Keser said.

"If [we] had the intention to kill civilians, we would have started doing it from Cihangir, Nisantasi, Etiler, Right? I mean there are lots of traitors, there is the Ottoman Turkish parliament."

Cihangir, Nisantasi and Etiler are among Istanbul's predominantly secular neighbourhoods, where critical sentiment against Turkey's conservative government remains high.

Keser's comments about the Ottoman Turkish parliament were apparently targeting the parties opposing to the government.

Turkey's army and officials have repeatedly denied that non-combatants were killed in the operation in Afrin, which was launched in January against the Kurdish fighters who Turkey sees as "terrorists".

Baris Yarkadas, an opposition MP, announced on Twitter that he appealed to Turkey's media authority RTUK to punish Keser over the comments.

Eren Erdem, another opposition MP, also announced through a tweet that he has taken the issue to prosecutors, accussing Keser of inciting hatred.

The anchor's comments caused a stir on Ottoman Turkish social media, with many condemning Keser for threatening parliament and secular Turks.

#1  Didn't take long for the Islamist jackboots to show up. If you don't like someone, in Turkey, call them secular or Kurdish, which is equivalent to "terrorist" in Erdogan's Reich. Then its open season for Erdogan's Sturmabteilung. Hitler had the Jews, Erdogan has the Kurds to blame everything on.

Big difference is the Kurds have read the history of the Turks genocide of Armenia. And Hitler as well. They are armed and will fight.

Afghanistan
Taliban: Doha office remains vital for talks
[Al Jazeera] The Afghan Taliban
...Arabic for students...
has called for direct talks with the US to take place in its political office in Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
A senior Taliban official based in Doha told Al Jazeera on Tuesday that the group invites US officials to its political office in Qatar to discuss a "peaceful solution" to end the bloodshed in Afghanistan.

His comments followed local news media reports in Kabul on Friday, claiming that the Afghan government has been discussing with Qatari authorities the closure of the Taliban's Doha office.

The media reports cited government officials as saying the Doha office had "no positive consequence in terms of facilitating the peace talks".

In an apparent warning to the Afghan government, the Taliban official said further talk of shuttering the Doha office would scuttle the group's offer of talks altogether.

The Taliban official also said that departure of American troops from Afghanistan remains a precondition for the group's talks offer.

"Our struggle is for the liberation of the country," he said. "It is not a power struggle. How can a liberation struggle be deemed complete without foreign forces pulling out?

"Since it is [only] the US which can decide and implement a decision for the withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan, that is why direct talks with the US are necessary in the first phase.

"During a second phase, we can sit with the Afghan government and discuss all of the domestic issues."

Chicago ID card would be valid voter identification
[ChicagoTribune] Municipal ID cards that Mayor Rahm Emanuel is launching for undocumented immigrants and others will be a valid form of identification for people both registering to vote and voting in Chicago, according to a letter aldermen received Friday.

Clerk Anna Valencia, who’s heading up the CityKey program, cited state election rules to explain why the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners will accept the card.

"The Illinois Election Code requires the Board of Elections to accept current, valid photo identification cards and other local governmental documentation that includes an individual’s name and address, as proof of identity and residency," Valencia’s letter reads in part. "The CityKey fits both of these requirements."

The municipal ID is not yet available to the general public, but Valencia has said it will be in the spring. Most aldermen voted in favor of the program, which is viewed in City Hall circles as a way for Emanuel to boost his standing with Hispanic voters and immigrant rights supporters as he preps a 2019 re-election bid.
Continues.

Earlier on Monday, a security source said turbans fired a missile in al-Musalla region in Kirkuk, which was followed by shootout with the troops of the Counter-Terrorism Service.

Czech court orders release of Syrian Kurd leader despite Turkish extradition call
[Ynet] A Czech court ruled on Tuesday that former Syrian Kurdish PYD leader Saleh Moslem be released, despite The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

's call for his detention pending an extradition request.

Moslem formerly headed the PYD, the major component of a coalition that governs Kurdish-held autonomous parts of northern Syria. He was detained in Prague over the weekend at the request of Turkey, which accuses him of disrupting the state and aggravated murder.

"The court ruled Mr. Moslem will be released," a spokeswoman for the Prague Municipal Court, Marketa Puci, said, adding the ruling had taken legal effect as both the state attorney and the defense gave up their rights to appeal.

"The court accepted a promise by Mr. Moslem that he will remain on EU territory and will be attending court hearings."
They keep reporting it as released, when really they just mean these people are out on bail.
Moslem's lawyer Miroslav Krutina told news hounds his client had promised the court not to obstruct further proceedings.

Broward sheriff’s excuses are just obscene
[NYPOST] The Broward County sheriff, whose disgraceful performance in the Stoneman Douglas shooting has been a master class in evasion of responsibility, is the latest entry in why we don’t trust our public institutions.

It’s hard to imagine a more comprehensive and catastrophic failure from beginning to end than that of the sheriff’s office in the Parkland massacre. It ignored warnings that were specific and chilling about the shooter and at least one of its deputies waited outside the school while the shooting occurred. (And perhaps others did as well in the immediate aftermath.)

Sheriff Israel appropriately pronounced himself disgusted with the deputy, who has lost his job. But asked in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday if he acknowledges that had his department acted differently the shooter might have been foiled, the sheriff responded with a flip rhyme, "ifs and buts were candy and nuts."

It’s not as though the sheriff, mindful of the need to get a handle on his department’s handling of the case, has been quietly tending his own shop. At the CNN town hall last week, he turned in a crowd-pleasing performance. He opined about the new authorities that the police require and joined in lambasting NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch to cheers from the audience.

He was emphatic about everything not touching on what officers under his authority did or didn’t do. When attention turned to that, he suddenly became mincingly precise and demanded to know more details about reported warning signs.

When Loesch cited media accounts of 39 calls to the police, Israel denounced the figure as categorically false. And the lawman was right ‐ it was at least 18 calls.

What were these warnings? In 2016, a caller to the sheriff’s office said the perpetrator "planned to shoot up a school." More recently, on Nov. 30, a caller told the sheriff’s office that the shooter was amassing weapons and "could be a school shooter in the making."

The motto is that when we see something, we should say something. In the case of the Parkland shooter, people said something, over and over again, to little or no effect. The cliché after disasters is that no one "connected the dots." In the case of the Parkland shooter, the dots were connected with bright lines.

Yet nothing happened, and the sheriff’s office had a large hand in that. Israel’s performance at the CNN town hall was even more shamefully dodgy when considering it’s likely that he already knew one of his deputies had done nothing to stop the shooter at the scene.

#8  I still say this is NOT just an unfortunate string of events leading to a mass shooting.

Cruz did everything except put a neon sign on his house proclaiming his intentions.

Police ignore warning signs and multiple threats on line, in person, and on every social media platform in the galaxy.

First responders are told to stand down and wait for the SWAT team and all of their pretty gadgets.

Sheriff is calling for gun control while they are still bringing the dead and wounded out of the school.

Media seems to have a completely scripted response and puts the usual anti gun/disarm the citizenry spin out within minutes of the first announcements of the shooting.

If I wasn't so paranoid about the left, I would say this was almost orchestrated.

More Than 100,000 Non-Citizens Are Registered Voters in Pennsylvania
[Breitbart] The Public Interest Legal Foundation argued that non-citizens have been voting in Pennsylvania for decades, and that problem has been evident in other states the organization has worked with‐including New Jersey and Virginia.

But the state has not granted PILF’s open records requests to access the data at the root of the problem, the organization said in the lawsuit filed in federal court in Harrisburg.

"For months, Pennsylvania babus bureaucrats have concealed facts about non-citizens registering and voting ‐ that ends today," PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said.

Adams said the state already admitted that it allowed non-citizens renewing their driver’s licenses to have the opportunity to register to vote.

Pennsylvania officials, however, declined to comment on the lawsuit or the more than 100,000 non-citizen voters.

"We’re not going to comment on anything related to litigation," said Wanda Murren, director of communications and press at the Pennsylvania Department of State.

Of the more than 100,000 non-citizen voters in Pennsylvania, one city commissioner found in September that at least 90 of those non-citizens registered to vote cast ballots in Philadelphia. Hundreds more non-citizens who did not vote were also on the voter rolls.

The PILF also went after a county in Texas for failing to release non-citizen voting records back in December.

UN links North Korea to Syria's chemical weapons programme
NYTimes source
[StraitsTimes] North Korea has been shipping supplies to the Syrian government that could be used in the production of chemical weapons, United Nations experts contend.

The evidence of a North Korean connection comes as the United States and other countries have accused the Syrian government of using chemical weapons on civilians, including recent attacks on civilians in the Damascus suburb of eastern Ghouta using what appears to have been chlorine gas.

The supplies from North Korea include acid-resistant tiles, valves and thermometers, according to a report by UN investigators. North Korean missile technicians have also been spotted working at known chemical weapons and missile facilities inside Syria, according to the report, which was written by a panel of experts who looked at North Korea's compliance with UN sanctions.

The report highlights the potential danger posed by any such trade between Syria and North Korea, which could allow Syria to maintain its chemical weapons while also providing North Korea with cash for its nuclear and missile programmes.

The possible chemical weapons components were part of at least 40 previously unreported shipments by North Korea to Syria between 2012 and 2017 of prohibited ballistic missile parts and materials that could be used for both military and civilian purposes, according to the report, which has not been publicly released but which was reviewed by The New York Times.

Neither the report's authors nor members of the UN Security Council who have seen it would comment, and neither would the US mission to the international agency.

It is unclear when, or even whether, the report will be released.

Pro-Assad media accuses opposition of faking child injuries in Ghouta with forged video
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Pro-Assad media outlets shared a video of children being painted with red blood claiming that they were Syrian opposition factions in eastern Ghouta trying to fake child injuries.

However,
there's more than one way to stuff a chicken...
the video turned out to be from an art workshop which creates this health exercise annually in Gazoo.

The goal of the workshop is to recreate child injuries sustained in warzones so that doctors can get familiar with them and learn how to care for injured children, the owner of the workshop, Abd al-Baset al-Loulou, said.

He added that clips from his workshop’s video were edited together and shared by pro-Assad media outlets as coming from eastern Ghouta. al-Loulou said that he was then forced to release a statement clarifying that the video was from his annual workshop centered around using special effects makeup to recreate child injuries.

"It’s sad that the Syrian regime used art for political reasons," al-Loulou said, adding that doctors and health care professionals worldwide use special effects makeup artists to train their staff.

Russian media has also attempted to show forged victories by Russian soldiers in Syria by using fictional images and scenes.

According to the Washington Post, Russian media used scenes from a videogame called Arma purportedly showing Syrian war footage, and a battle that took the life of Senior Lieutenant Alexander Prokhorenko.

Turkey's court gives paedophile 'record 572-year sentence'
[DAWN] A Ottoman Turkish court incarcerated
Book 'im, Mahmoud!
a paedophile a record 572 years for abusing 18 children at the school where he worked, reports said on Tuesday, as alarm grows over the extent of child abuse in the country.

The court in the southern province of Adiyaman convicted the janitor after it was found he raped children and would sneak into some of the pupils' beds, Hurriyet daily said.

The defendant was found guilty of multiple crimes including "child sexual abuse" for which he was given 30 years for each of the 18 boys he abused, the newspaper reported.

He was also sentenced to 32 years for other crimes including "depriving someone of their liberty", "obscenity" and "blackmail", thus adding up to 571 years 11 months and 25 days, Dogan News Agency and Hurriyet reported.

The paedophile started working at a high school offering a specialised religious education, known as an Imam Hatip school, in 2012 but lived at the school between 2013 and 2015, the newspaper said.

At one point, the former cleaner would physically hit the children, force them to watch pornographic films, make them smoke as well as threaten the students, Hurriyet said.

The construction of the Incirlik airbase was concluded in 1955, with Ankara and Washington signing an agreement for the joint use of the facility. It has been used for several military operations over the past decades, and has served as a strategic storage area for the U.S. military.

#2  There is a US Base in Katar and one in Turkey and the existence of these two serves as protection to the regimes in those two places from US anger. Both have taken advantage of that protection to pursue direct opposition to US goals in the Middle East through support of terrorism by the ruler of Katar and opposition to Kurdish interests by the tyrant in Turkey.
It is time to move both of these to other countries. This would provide such protection where it would conform to our interests, and probably would improve behavior of both these countries.

Jordan foils IS plot to attack Israeli businessmen, US embassy
[IsraelTimes] Local media says targets of failed 17-member terror cell also included a church, a French institute and a private TV channel

jihadist group planned to attack Israeli businessmen, the US embassy in Jordan and other Western and Jordanian targets in Amman, the country’s daily Al Rai newspaper revealed on Tuesday.

Jordan’s security forces uncovered the plot last November and nabbed
Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
17 members of the terror cell before they were able to carry out the attacks, the report said.

It said the targets chosen by the murderous Moslems also included the French Institute of Jordan, the private Ro’ya TV channel, a nightclub, tunnels belonging to the country’s Phosphate Company, and a church.

The Israeli businessmen who were slated to be attacked had repeatedly visited a local clothing factory, the report added.

The terror cell, it said, was divided into three groups. The first group’s mission was to preview the targets, the second was to provide technical support and carry out minor attacks, and the third would carry out major attacks and suicide kabooms.

The main suspect was said to have been inspired by Mahmoud al Masharfeh, who carried out a suicide kaboom that killed five Jordanian intelligence officers north of Amman in 2016. Al Masharfeh, too, belonged to Islamic State.

The main suspect, whose identity was not released, planned to carry out a similar attack against a Jordanian intelligence office with automatic rifles and pistols he managed to obtain.

He reportedly first had the idea of forming a terror cell in 2016. His goal was to undermine Jordan’s national security and pave the way for the Islamic State terror group to gain a foothold in the kingdom, the report said.

U.S. judge rejects lawsuit seeking to stop Trump border wall
Al-Rooters
A U.S. judge on Tuesday sided with President Donald Trump’s administration and rejected an attempt by the state of California and environmental groups to stop the government from building a wall on the U.S. border with Mexico.

The lawsuit filed in a San Diego federal court alleged that Trump's proposed wall violates federal environmental standards, as well as constitutional provisions regarding the separation of powers and states' rights.

The plaintiffs asked U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel to stop the administration from pursuing the barrier until it demonstrates compliance with environmental laws.

The wall, a key item for Trump's political base of supporters, has become a sticking point in talks to keep alive a federal program that protects from deportation young people who were brought to the United States illegally as children.
Start the damn fence/wall. The Dems, like Paleos, can learn to negotiate from weakness and facts on the ground
In his latest budget proposal to Congress, Trump requested $23 billion for border security, most of it for building the wall.

Curiel said his decision on Tuesday was not based on whether the underlying decisions to construct the wall "are politically wise or prudent." Rather, Curiel said the Trump administration had not exceeded its legal authority in pursuing the project.
Same judge Trump accused of probably ruling against him because he was a Mexican in the Trump U case. Heh.

Shots fired at army position north of Jerusalem
[IsraelTimes] No injuries in incident outside al-Bireh; troops searching the area for perpetrators

Shots were fired Tuesday night at an IDF position in the central West Bank, causing neither injury nor damage, the army said.

The military said soldiers found a number of shells near the army post outside al-Bireh, north of Jerusalem.

"Troops are searching the area," the army said.

Paleostinian groups have called for festivities with Israeli forces to protest the US administration’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and relocate the US embassy to the city.

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said Tuesday that Israel’s security forces thwarted between 20 and 30 terror attacks in the West Bank each week over the past few months.

The Israeli army said Sunday it would impose a closure on the West Bank for the duration of Purim, between Tuesday night and Saturday night, as is standard practice during festivals and holidays.

The move follows a review of the security situation and is dependent on government approval.

Liberman: Security forces foil 20-30 terror attacks each week

[IsraelTimes] Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said Tuesday that Israel’s security forces thwarted between 20 and 30 terror attacks in the West Bank each week over the past few months.

“In the Central Command, and especially in the area of Hebron
...Hamas Central in the West Bank...
’s old city, a large-scale operation to thwart [attacks] has been undertaken in recent months — between 20 and 30 each week — in response to an increasing effort by terrorist forces,” Liberman said during a tour of Hebron.

“The vast majority of terror attacks we have succeeded in severing, thanks to high-quality intelligence, an intelligent troop deployment and advanced technologies,” he said.

The ever-volatile West Bank city where the defense minister made his remarks is home to over 200,000 Palestinians and a few hundred Jewish settlers, as well as the Tomb of the Patriarchs pilgrimage site, according to tradition the burial place of several biblical patriarchs and matriarchs.

The restive Hebron has been the site of numerous attacks against Israeli troops and civilians in recent years, and is also the hometown of many terrorists who carried out attacks elsewhere in the West Bank and Israel.

Many analysts ascribe this to the constant friction between Palestinians and Israeli troops, which does not take place inside other Palestinian cities; Hebron is the only one in which Israeli settlers also live and thus requires a constant military presence.
Israel won. Get over it.
During his tour of the security arrangements in the city, Liberman was also shown the results of a joint army-police raid from earlier that morning in which Israeli troops seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle, two handguns, ammunition and other military gear.

#4  Well, Everything must be based on an annuity. You cannot even pay for anything at all if there is no liquidity to do so. This is why no one used to get a loan in war or depression. You must have an engine with enough gas and air to fuel an economy.

And with-ought that, your general stores would dry up of goods. We need enough growth to pay for itself and enough growth to support the 2% population growth included.

#11  Whaddaya mean, conspiracy theorish? They have been crushing us for decades. NAFTA was the beginning of the end for the American working class. Admitting China to the WTO was a killer, and TPP would have been the coup de grace.

America is an incredibly wealthy country. Why is it that all the gains go to Wall Street while we have to bust our asses to find a job, only to get laid off? Wages have hardly budged in 20 years. The tremendous gains in productivity enabled by computerization have all been pocketed by Wall Street.

I recall the Dems and their cronies got richer in the Obama years, and almost certainly so during the Clinton years. Perhaps a little less during the Bushitler terms of office.

That's why Hilly had such a strong following - they all wanted to get in on the action. That's why the Deep State is still trying to push Trump out of office - they know the Dems will reward them appropriately.

The deadliest school massacre in US history received very little attention because it wasn't committed with a gun
[PowderedWigSociety] When we think of the horrible school massacres that are now an unfortunate part of American history, we recall University of Texas, Columbine, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, and now Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida.

As horrific as all of those monstrous slaughters of our innocent youngsters were, the deadliest school mass murder in US history is hardly known, the Bath School massacre in Michigan in 1927, during which not a single bullet was fired.

Bath was a rural village of 300 people despite its location ten miles from Lansing, the state capital. The local institute of learning was Bath Consolidated School, built only five years earlier to replace the scattered one-room schools of the surrounding farmland. It had 314 students from around the region, many the sons and daughters of farmers. Some students were bused in, and all took classes with their peers over the course of elementary and high school, according to Smithsonian.

May 18 was the last day of classes for students that year, but at 8:45 the north wing of the three-story structure exploded with such force that the boom was heard miles away.

"We knew it came from Bath, but we didn’t know what it was or anything, so we jumped in the old car and drove as fast as we could to see what it was," Irene Dunham told the Lansing State Journal. The centenarian is the oldest living survivor. She was 19 at the time, a senior about to finish her last year‐and stayed home that morning due to a sore throat.

"There was a pile of children about five or six under the roof and some of them had arms sticking out, some had legs, and some just their heads sticking out. They were unrecognizable because they were covered with dust, plaster and blood," wrote local author Monty J. Ellsworth in his 1927 account, The Bath School Disaster. "It is a miracle that many parents didn’t lose their minds before the task of getting their children out of the ruins was completed. It was between five and six o’clock that evening before the last child was taken out."

As community members rushed to help after the explosion, getting rope to lift up the collapsed roof and pull the students and teachers from the rubble, a member of the school board named Andrew Kehoe drove up to the site. Kehoe stepped out of his truck filled with dynamite and shrapnel, aimed his rifle at it, and fired. The ensuing explosion killed the school superintendent, several other bystanders, and Kehoe himself.
Continues.

#4  People often are confused on the difference between Courage and Bravery. A kitten attacking a pit bull is brave, while a mother cat sacrificing herself to save her kittens is courageous.

#5  Yep,

Courage is a choice. Courage is also a learned behavior. Few people are born courageous. I had to learn. My 1st taught me a lot and counseled me on how the men expected me to be both brave and courageous in combat. I cannot tell you how many times the first six months I was a platoon leader that I pissed myself and after the shooting stopped finding a quiet private place to puke.

It got easier over time. I quit pissing myself and by the time I was a company commander I had quit puking. Eventually, you learn that if your number is up, it will get you whether you hunker down in that foxhole safe and sound or asleep in your hooch at night or running in front of your men leading from the front.

#6  Sock Puppet of Doom: The hardest part is dealing with giving orders to men you know will likely die doing their duty. It is one thing to put your own butt on the line and "Follow Me". But to assign men to their possible death while duty demands they go without you? Anyone with honor carries those men with him foreer.

Trump 2020: US president names campaign manager for re-election bid
[IsraelTimes] Brad Parscale, Kushner ally and former Trump Organization employee, appointed to lead run.

US President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
has named former digital adviser Brad Parscale as campaign manager of his 2020 re-election campaign.

In a statement, the Trump campaign said Parscale will lead "advanced planning" for the 2020 effort, and that the campaign will also be engaged in the 2018 midterm elections ‐ which are shaping up to be a challenging environment for Republicans.

Trump has left little doubt about his intentions to seek re-election. He filed the paperwork to organize his re-election committee on the same day as his inauguration, held his first campaign rally on Feb. 18, 2017, in Florida, and has mused publicly about would-be Democratic challengers.

Parscale, an Austin-based digital consultant and ally of Trump son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, ran the Trump campaign’s digital operations in 2016, which included sophisticated social media targeting. He previously worked for the Trump Organization.

In an interview with CBS’s "60 Minutes" last year, Parscale described how a team that grew to 100 people created 50,000 to 60,000 ads on Facebook daily to reach different swaths of Trump supporters to maximize support and online donations.

#2  #1 VRWC: How sweet it was. With luck, hard work, and prevention of Donk rigging there ought to be a repeat of 2016 in 2020. If Pubs get serious about Donk corruption prosecution, this should red pill many voters away from the Corruptocrat Party. Hopefully, we can enjoy watching butt-hurt lefties again.
