#2 The media demand and compete for our attention, then they pull foolishly transparent manipulations. The guy who got bounced was universally praised for his work on-site, never arrested for anything and only publicly accused of anything long after the alleged events. But it is impossible not to notice that the entire focus of the coverage shifted instantly to GEN Kelly and the subsequent need for him to be gone without further discussion, because women or something.
