#1 The Moslem neighbors in BanglaDesh helped to kill THREE MILLION Hindus ( give or take a few ) in just eight months back in 1971.
Do YOU have any Moslem neighbors?
Naturally the Hindus are a bit touchy about the matter ( and it has been a long time waiting for trials for War Criminals, after all, wouldn't you say?) Moslems raped about a quarter million women as well while they were at it.
And then along comes Jamaat with the Koran and the swastikas and ....well, you know how that is.
People remember their moslem "neighbors".
You got any Moslem neighbors? You don't borrow a cup of sugar there often, now do you?

#2 I do have Muslim neighbors, as it happens. Two familes. One is a bit more conservative - the wife and 12 year old daughter wear headscarves. The husband has built up a small business over two decades in the US and the oldest son is in the Air Force. They are unfailingly polite to everyone in the neighborhood, the younger teen son shovelled my sidewalks after last year's blizzard (and wouldn't accept money in return) and the wife brought me some of the chicken biranyi she made for their dinner at the end of Ramadan.
The other family lives a few doors on. Their young daughter comes by to bake cookies with me occasionally and joined in decorating pumpkins for Halloween last year. The mother was nervous when I had my dog living here, because she'd never been around one, but beamed when her 4 year old girl got up the courage to pet him and asked to hold his leash.
I haven't had to borrow sugar from them lately, though.

#4 Not all Moslems are illiterate and brainwashed by the delusional ravings of their local Iman.
Also more westernized Moslems, well at least those that don't go on jihad, seem to recognize that large pieces of the Quran are just hopeless drivel, the ravings of a madman, most likely schiezophrenic.
