#1 The only nerve agent attack reported this week anywhere on the globe takes place 6 kilometers from Porton Down (PD)? Yes, a "false flag" is a very real possibility.

Heard anyone in the media refer to PD yet? No, me neither.

#3 I found a few articles, all roughly like this one:

They only reference PD as having identified the chemical agent.

#4 Yesterday, the Beeb was pushing the idea that only state actors had the necessary skillz and stuff to make such nasty chemicals. Never done it myself, but was under the impression it was college-level organic chem with the added caveat of not killing yourself during the synthesis.

Back around 1995, the Japanese Aum Shinrikyo religious cult managed to brew up enough sarin to kill or injure some 5,000 people, despite not being state-level actors.

Not saying it wasn't the Russians, but 20-some people as collateral damage sounds sloppy and unfocused.

Or a water balloon aerosol attack.

#9 Or a water balloon aerosol attack.

Just the sort of thing you get when you hire out your hits to sketchy, low-rent subcontractors.

Plus, they had him for 5 years in their jail - if they wanted him dead...
