#3 Maybe after they are done there they can come dig a trench along our southern border. Perhaps Arizona and Texas can hire them.

#4 Berms and trenches were used by the Marines to 'secure' specific towns in the Anbar Province and clean out the AQI and smuggler types.

According to our family's Marine relative, it worked pretty well. The honest folks used the designated entry/exits.

The 'less-than-honest' tried to use the more difficult routes and were easily identified and 'dealt with'.

Cleaned up several 'troubled' municipalities that way.
