#2 So far, this shift hasn't significantly affected farming and land use as the dryer conditions move across the US.

If it hasn't happened then, why should we expect a shift now? For some people, this would be the sentence when they realize they've been had by these con artists.

#5 I watched the drought map over several years. Saw a hot spot migrate from from Georgia to Texas to California. No one paid attention to it. Not in the narrative.

#6 P2K: Any explanation for the moving hot spot and ensuing drought?

Quite a few years ago (1990s as I recall), there was a drought in Tennessee and Georgia. Many trees were lost due to the drought.

Do you suppose this any different than the drought that created the "Dust Bowl" back in the 1930s? Just a natural phenomena maybe related to sunspots, earth axis tilt or something?
