#1 The disarming of Americans through civil litigation is a reality. If you cannot prove that you have been properly trained and do not have liability insurance, using that firearm may only be the beginning of your troubles.

Not pushing the NRA program, your homeowner's policy may also have a Concealed Carry rider. Other firms also offer liability protection. Key here is, your actions with a firearm MUST be legal for the insurance to be effective, hence the training.
