Don't do war. It's nasty, destructive, and exhausting. However, as Trotsky said - you may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you. If you are going to do it, don't hold back. Don't let anyone tell you how to fight a war without explaining what 'winning' means. Winning isn't about making friends or making people feel virtuous about themselves. Winning means they leave you alone and don't disturb you.

#10 Putting on my contrarian hat let me (partially) agree with HMcC. It is crappy that I have reached the point that genocide is not a horrific idea. On the other hand, I put the blame where it belongs - on a 8th century mindset that not just accepts genocide but makes a religious duty, along with slavery and subjugation of everyone other than their own particular cult/sect.
