#1 I'm going with the Steve Bannon theory:

#2 "They are insidiously smart," and don't forget inscrutable.

Insidiously smart compared to you and the whole Obumble crew, sure.

#3 "They are insidiously smart,"...

Bah! They have been manipulating barbarians according to the same playbook for millennia. Their chief advantage is they don't think quarter-to-quarter like our Wall Street 'Geniuses' . They are used to spending years and decades if necessary to corrupt and manipulate foreign agents to do their bidding. Their customs of "exchanging gifts for 'favors' ", what we would think of as "bribery", is just what they do as normal practice.

#4 Magpie nails it at #3 in a mere 69 words.

The level of geo-political acumen consistently displayed at this site is a continuing source of amazement. If it could only somehow be bottled and shipped to Washington.

Unfortunately, no amount of coaxing from the common man could convince our beltway betters to imbibe truth or common sense. They're inextricably linked to their globalist portfolios.

#5 As opposed to the US government, which only bribes countries with unfair trade agreements. The ones that ruined our working class. But none dare call it bribery.

#6 That comment makes absolutely no sense, just bile

#7 I think HMcC meant "unfair to our working class."
Can't say I disagree with that assessment.

#8 Counter Intelligence you say? But for which side?
I wouldn't trust an Obama official if they told me my own name. I'd demand a DNA test.

#9 "They are insidiously smart," Synder, who is now a senior adviser for Cambridge Global Advisors, told Hill.TV of the Chinese telecommunications giant.

If they're so smart, why can't they write their own software?

#10 It's not only about shutting off access to leading edge US components. You have to shut down the whole supply chain and technology transfer. Memory from Korea, chip making services from Taiwan, software from America, IP licenses from Japan and worldwide and chip making machines from America and Europe.
