#1 Morsi failed to support the Sunni who are being oppressed in Iran (and to some extent Iraq) while supporting the Sunni in Syria who are being oppressed by the Alawites. Of course, he doesn't mention the Shiite who are being oppressed by Sunni in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Etc.

True. There was a lot of what we would call 'nuance' or 'careful ambiguity' in Morsi's comments.
I don't think this matters that much.

FYI Iran announced it wants to set a troika of several nations, including Venezuela, to solve the Syria crisis.
