#2 I thought the NATO Response Force - formed in 2003-4 - was suppose to cover these types of situations..?

#3 Hard to get excited - this is not the NATO of cold war days defending the 'Fulda Gap'. The new NATO resembles the 'League of Nations'. NATO extended itself way too far east, IMO. I'm sure Putin is quaking in his boots - from laughter. (Same for the happily deceased Koba).
