#2 In reality she did not leave her home due to threats. She left her home so should would not be confronted with questions from reporters that she has not conjured up reasonably, sounding answers for in regards to this fabrication.

The terms and conditions are meant to delay the confirmation.

All a charade that DC knuckle heads will go along with to the fullest.

"Citing an internal law enforcement report that details threats to the protectee, a senior administration official told CNN Thursday that the number of death threats made against Supreme Court nominee Kavanaugh and his family have increased since Ford’s allegations came to light. The official said there are several current threats against the Kavanaughs that law enforcement deems credible, while several others have been opened and closed since he was nominated."

#7 Probably need more time so she can present a narrative without sounding like a lunatic, yet avoid actually answering questions in a concrete way.

In the meantime, gives the investigators time to hack Kavanaugh's high school academic and medical records.
