#1 I think WH Ramadan dinners are a recent thing. Clinton, George W. and Obama hosted Ramadan dinners. It was attempt to show that we like moderate muslims as opposed to jihadists. The line seems to be blurring.

I suppose it's silly but for some reason Iftar dinners in the WH vs. Clinton's blue dress peccadillo came to mind.
