That's what these people find so offensive about what he said - it was the truth, and it's not flattering to Islam, not flattering to Muslims, and most especially not flattering to Arabs. It "fails to pay proper respect" demanded by these idiotarians. Of course, there's nothing about any of the three that actually earns any respect, but that doesn't stop these idiots from demanding it.

#8 This is bubbling up in the UK. The Daily Express had a front page story today saying that 97% of respondents agreed with Kilroy-Silk. Now I don't have the details on this, as to whether it was a phone-in or not, but it's something to bear in mind. People are really fed up of this kind of thing, and Trevor Phillips is really pushing it here - he thinks that by having Kilroy-Silk supplicate to groups that he feels are worthy that this will mean the heretic is somehow cleansed of his sins. If Kilroy-Silk keeps his cool and sticks to his guns, we might see this CRE doublethink bullshit take a real bad hit - and I would be delighted to see that happen.

Oh and Jon - chill out dude, the best way to get back at these assholes is to ridicule them and let other people know what the true score is. Most people aren't terminally stupid - just misinformed. Keep posting good comments to RantBurg and tell your mates about this and other sites where these issues are raised in an intelligent manner.

#9 yeah your right tony about doing this propaly and intelligently.I've just sent a huge e-mail to the CRE,(non abusive, I went into smart mode for this) saying how myself and about 99% of the population think this is incredably unfair and wrong.I'm also gonna write to my mp about this whole issue and have also e-mailed the slime at the BBC to tell them to reinstate Kilroy.I know i can get very heated and abusive but havn't let myself fall into that trap with these CRE fools.Hope Kilroy does have the allagations against him dropped but i've got the feeling these CRE folks are really out for his blood and are not gonna let go of this.Such a shame to see our country fall to a new low like this.I pity the CRE.

Unbelievable. Maybe Mr. Kilroy-Silk can tell Mr. Phillips nicely and publicly to bugger off, and volunteer someone else's money. Like his own.

#11 Hollinger Corp has had some nasty troubles in the US -- seems that the top cheeze spent an inordinate amount of shareholder money on his wife's baubles and parties. And they sold off some units for next to nothing to -- insiders who told them that the units were worth next to nothing! How convenient.

#12 Someone should ask the CRE, since it supports Britains being racially equal, if that means Brits can now become "suicide bombers, limb-amputators, and women repressors" and the CRE won't do a thing.
