#1 I don't know about this about half way through the third paragraph I put my waders on.

"There were between 2,000 and 3,000 mujahideens…" I am pretty sure any location that can "train" that large a numkber of people no matter how primitave is quite visible from space. I know "someone" saw it and pointed it out even if just the Indains if in reality it existed.

#3 Why is this guy suddenly so helpful and forthcoming with us? Is it Grinch II-his heart grew three times that day? Anyone have a feeling we have a poisonous mix here of startling truths and diversionary lies?

#4 Sounds like quite a spinner. "2,000-3,000" bad boyz is ridiculous. That would require a football field-sized facility of maybe 50,000 square feet.

Also love the travel writer's touch about the "impressive" (I think the translation of impressionant was wrong) view of the Himalayas. Sounds like a complete wannabe.

#5 Actually the size of the training camps matches with Indian claims about Jihadi camps located in Pakistan (which India does have satellite proof of). This kind of training has been going on for years, but since most of the trainees are Pakistanis and Kashmiris, the Pakistani government has managed to get away with it.

In fact the majority of Jihadis training camps have always been located in Pakistan rather than Afghanistan, it is just that Al Qaeda tended to train their forces in the Afghan camps.

#10 ",,,officials found maps of Australian nuclear sites, and the Perth headquarters of Australia’s elite SAS unit... He was repatriated to France..."
No offense to the Aussies, but this guy needed a tribunal and a firing squad. Australia, is this a war on terror or not?
