#1 Speaking as a fully paid up athiest, were God involved in this then I am sure he would be concerned with more important things like the (short, medium and long term) consequences of dependence on energy from sources controlled by 'unbelievers' and the massive funding it provides to them.

#5 Actually, RJ, God would turn ZPE extraction mode on and Soddies could drink oil then.

Who knows, maybe he did, but we may be a bit dense to get it work... in the industrial scale, that is, not just a handful of prototypes that show minute results but have scalability issues.
