#1 efforts to reduce energy consumption

More communism should speed that right along. It's also a solution to the overeating problem.

#2 This is my fish. There are many like it, but this one is mine...

No, tu, this is the people's fish.

As for help with the energy crisis, I believe Cuba can offer Venezuela all kinds of fish. They have many batteries from cars built in the 50's and before. All Venezuela has to do is figure out how to charge them up.

#3 Maybe instead of efforts to reduce energy consumption they could consider efforts to increase energy production? Nah, too capitalistic.

#5 What brilliance! Cuba will know what to do. One failed state turning to another one for answers.

#8 Your spelling errors are considerably fewer than they were at the beginning of your latest adventure, Redneck Jim. Be patient with yourself, dear, and accept that there has been considerable progress.

#9 It really shows he's nuts that he would turn to Cuba. I mean wow. If I were him I'd have turned to Brazil long ago and tried to get into some of that sugar ethanol and perhaps nuclear reactor business. Then you could sell the oil without actually being dependent upon it yourself.
