#1 I suspect Hamas is worried Bibi will end the Palestinian problem once and for all (forced movement of populations is most likely) if the Pals go to war with Israel during war with Israel.

Either that or they are hoping the Israeli's will aim a few less missiles there way for the time they do attack.
