#6 "Let them rot there" > IMO this comment by Moud/Ahmadinejad supports my contention that as long as any US-NATO/Allied warships [ + airpower] stay offshore, + no ground invasion of Iran per se takes place, IRAN IS CONTENT TO CONTINUE ["as is"] WID DEV ITS NUCPROGS, ALA THE "JAPAN/EGYPT" MODELS. IOW, IRAN WILL GET ITS NUKES.

So did ancient Persia, so does modern Iran.

Lest we fergit II, the accused PAK AIR FORCE BGEN KHAN allegedly desired + conspired to set up an OVERT ISLAMIC/ISLAMIST STATE IN PAKISTAN, a Nuke-armed Muslim country many of whose Politicos + Military already covertly support Radical Islamism.

A US-Iran, or US-Israel-Iran, War need not begin wid Iran.
