#4 Brooks County - as of the 2010 census, the population is 7,223. Its county seat is Falfurrias. Brooks is named for James Abijah Brooks, a Texas Ranger and legislator.

If your spreadsheet is not formatted for dates correctly, you can get some 1900 or 1901 dates. I know, because I proofread.
