#4 ION WAFF > AFGHAN BEHEADINGS OFFERS GLIMPSE INTO FUTURE. Afghanistan is far from pacified or secure.

versus

* DAILY TIMES.PK > AFGHAN BEHEADINGS COULDS SIGNAL CONFUSION IN TALIBAN RANKS.

* MULLAH OMAR, AIDES HIDING IN PAKISTAN: US.

#7 while I admire the work that these humanitarian groups do - their general security procedures are apallingly bad. It's hard to see how they will get a lot of new volunteers - when staff are being kidnapped and beheaded. Someone needs to re-think their whole set of security arrangements ... the world is gettign to be a "tough game" out there.

#8 The ICRC people are supposed to be protected by the host government. That's the usual arrangement. Clearly the Pak government isn't willing to do that.

#9 Why should they? The ICRC are either infidels or working for infidels.

And everybody knows the polio vaccine is actually George Bush's urine.
