Unlike Jones they're not on the fringe. Their relationship with the political class is friendly.
Qatanani is a man whom the Governor of NJ calls his friend, notwithstanding his Hamas membership.
Qazwini is close to powerful Congressman Dingell, and he offered the opening prayer for a session of Congress. All this notwithstanding Qazwini's involvement with the Iranian regime.

#2 It is inconceivable that an army general would telephone a private citizen to warn them against insulting any faith other than Islam.
Almost as "inconceivable" as a president who travels to Vegas duuring a terrorist attack on a US Consulate or a laughing hyena Vice President.
