I am trying to think if there is anyplace ELSE in the world where people fire off guns at weddings? We all know the Middle East does it? Do they do it anyplace else in the world ? Paraguay? Belgium, Reno? help me people. There must be somewhere people shoot guns at wedding besides in Moslem countries.
How about the Sioux in South Dakota? Anybody?

#6 In New Orleans we don't shoot guns in the air for weddings, but some do it to celebrate the New Year....
The strangest thing is it is usually the poorest people shooting off guns to celebrate - I don't know where they shop, but ammo's gotten EXPENSIVE, so how do the poorest people afford it?

#7 They shoot off guns on New Years's Eve in the Philippines, too. Straight up in the air, but queerly enough the bullets eventually come back down. The result is always a startlement, I'm told.
