#1 Last uprising began in South Carolina.

#2 Didn't work out so well for the uprisers.

#3 Certainly did not, but I doubt there would have ever been an Obama sitting in the president's office at the capital in Richmond. Perhaps an Alan West or Ben Carson, but never an Obama.

#4 Didn't work out so well for the uprisers.

Who were intent on retaining involuntary servitude and the plantation system, which today is the hallmark of the Democratic Socialist Party. Remember you can stuff ballot boxes all day long, but when the guns come out, it's those who are willing to give the last full measure of devotion that truly count. I don't see the takers willingly putting themselves in harms way to keep the Kleptocracy in power. Their thugs and husks bully boys maybe, but most of their base will avoid the risk. The Politburo was a bit surprised when their system collapsed as well when no one came to defend it.

#5 Key word is might. Not at all the same as planning for it...or building pressure cooker bombs for use at the next big community celebration in order to bring about the desired outcome. And honestly, without a comparison to previous years, this poll number is fairly meaningless.

#6 It isn't entirely meaningless. I would say the percentage is higher if more people would be honest.

What it does mean is more and more people are coming to the realization that there is going to be a fight.

At this point it isn't if, it's when.

#7 29% admit armed revolution might be necessary; probably another 21% think so but won't admit it, and the other half are oblivious to everything. I suspect a big problem is that many of the potential revolutionaries will want a more collectivist system rather than a more individualist system, leading to a civil war as much as a revolution.

#8 The problem is the percent on the left that believe armed revolution might be necessary want to take out Tea Party types, not the government.

#9 It is not the registered voters Washington and socialist communist progressives need to concern themselves with since mst voters can not show up every two years and vote.

They should be more concerned what the military and ex-military think about grabbing a gun and pointing it at the crooks turning America into a third world country. Remember one thing about third world countries, they have the tendencies to reboot every generation or two.

#10 Regardless of what percentage of Americans share the desire to throw off the present rule by collectivist "takers", I fear that nothing much will ever happen - for the simple reason that the patriotic "restorationists" (with respect to rule as outlined in the US Constitution) realize that - were they to successfully wrest power from the ruling cabal - they would become proud owners of 100 million useless, inhabitants ("takers"), addicted to dependency.

Even the most fervent patriots have no idea what to do with countless millions of examples of non-performing human detritus. Merely feeding and watering this useless herd of potted plants would continue to consume massive amounts of capital - which would still have to be generated by the productive portion of society.

The restorationists are good people - who are unlikely to be able to accept the only realistic answer - which would be extermination camps that would dwarf the efforts of Nazi Germany.

So - the productive few cannot take action to fix the current problem before it consumes them. They simply aren't brutal enough. Instead, they must simply wait for the inevitable collapse of the current system - and the anarchy that will result - and simply allow natural selection to cull the herd.

Let's just hope that "Idiocracy" does not become the model for what comes next.

#11 Even the most fervent patriots have no idea what to do with countless millions of examples of non-performing human detritus.

We know exactly what to do with them. And it wouldn't be that difficult.

That will happen during a war/civil disruption that interrupts the flow of energy, food, clean water into the urban areas and waste out. As soon as the waste piles up in the urban areas, the vermin and pestilent carriers soon follow. There are too many urban areas and too little government resources to handle more than a couple at any one time in current natural disaster response - see Katrina and Sandy.

#13 nothing much will ever happen

Don't read much history, do you? Most of the time nothing happens, life goes on. But every 80 years or so...

#14 "Even the most fervent patriots have no idea what to do with countless millions of examples of non-performing human detritus."

I've got a pretty good idea, LR. Defund ANY AND ALL federal departments and laws that are not expressly authorized to the federal government by the Constitution.

Get rid of Health, Education, and Welfare for a start - those functions are "reserved to the States, or to the people."

Then the takers are the states' problems. If states want to tax their few makers to buy the votes of the takers, they will soon find themselves without the taxes from the makers. And the feds won't be able to "ride to the rescue," as that function is NOT in the Constitution.

I'd pay good money to watch that show. ;-p

#15 Three hots and a cot aren't that expensive.

It took decades to get us down here, and it will take decades to walk out again.

Start with the schools. Start educating citizens again.

#16 The DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND Blog is going gaga over the statistic that 44% of Republicans believe the same.

Our dear leaders in Washington know that a post-2015, "borderless" Amerika suborned under OWG + Global Fed "Unions" may ...

> Change or negate the Constitution.
> Fundamentally alter the American way of Life, Economy, Character + Identity.
> Alter or negate US "national" sovereignty.
> Americans = Amerikans may have to adhere to the excutive decisions/actions + policies of OWG GFU Leaders whom are NOT American andor have little or no ties to America, + have no Allegiance to America.

YET, KNOWING ALL THE ABOVE + OTHER, THE POLS STILL WANT TO COMMIT AMERICA + AMERICAN PEOPLE TO IT ANYWAY - "WHUT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG"!?

* FYI FREEREPUBLIC > [US Senator John]SESSIONS: 57.0MILYUHN NEW PEOPLE COULD ENTER AMERICA, COMPETE FOR JOBS, iff the so-called "Gang of Eight" bill passes.

* GUARDIAN.UK > US FEDERAL RESERVE BLAMES CONGRESS SEQUESTER CUTS ["Fiscal Policies"]FOR US ECONOMIC WOES.

* DEFENCE.K/FORUMS > [NYT] CHINA MILITARY POWER ALMOST EQUAL TO USA IN EAST ASIA | CHINA SEEN AS NEARING US MILITARY POWER IN REGION.

RELATED YAHOO NEWS > THE GLOBAL POWER VACUUM IS EXPANDING.

ARTIC = "DON'T LOOK TO [Bammer-led]WASHINGTON" for help = salvation? in a "GLOBAL-ZERO/G-ZERO" WORLD.

* DEMOCRATIC UNDERGOUND > [Daily Beast] THIS ISN'T OBAMA MALAISE, ITS GOP INTRANSIGENCE.

RELATED ....
> [Politico] INFIGHTING SPLITS HOUSE REPUBLICANS.
> [Salon] THE NEW GOP NOMINEE TO REPLACE JOHN KERRY LOOKS STRONG, BUT HAS PLENTY OF PROBLEMS.
> [Yahoo News] RAND PAUL: THE NEXT + LAST GOP NOMINEE, for POTUS???
> [Bloomberg] GORE SAYS CONGRESS SWAYED BY [mucho = excessive] POLITICAL MONIES/DOLLARS, NOT VOTERS. US Congress incapable of doing anything the Voters = US Electorate wants or would like to see done.

* DEFENCE.PK/FORUMS > [IDRW.org] CHINA RISKS WAR IN TERRITORIAL PUSH ON THREE FRONTS | CHINA RISKS WAR IFF IT PUSHES TERRITORIAL CLAIMS IN ASIA.

* WORLD NEWS > [Foreign Policy] PENTAGON DETERMINES THAT NORTH KOREA WON'T QUIT. DPRK = Pudgy to inversely pursue intensified dev of NucWeaps + "small wars" strategies as it gets steadily weaker.

* DRUDEGREPORT > [Federal News Radio] DEFENSE DEPT. CLAIMS SEQUESTRATION ALREADY AFFECTING NAVY, MARINE CORPS READINESS.

China is getting ready to militarily challenge US Power-n-Influence in Asia-Pacific - right now, IMO we are in a temporary lull because China + PLA Boyz are still analyzing POTUS Obama, espec as per how the crushing-n-still-to-be-expanded US Debt Burden will affect the US = Bammer response any Chinese Military or MilPol moves.

DO NOT HAVE ANY DOUBTS THAT WHEN CHINA IS READY, IT W-I-L-L OPEN FIRE ON JAPAN [East China Sea], ASEAN [South China Sea], INDIA, ETC.

Iff China refuses to back down, to avoid a US-China limited or full mil nuclear conflict WILL THE BAMMER MILITARILY DEFEND THE US' OVERSEAS ALLIES, or WILL THE BAMMER [PDeniably] CLAIM THE US CAN'T AFFORD TO INTERVENE ON BEHALF OF ITS ALLIES VEE "HE KEPT THE US OUT OF WAR/NUCLEAR WAR", ala pre-WW1 POTUS Woodrow Wilson???

Avoiding war does always equate to maintenance of military or geopol strength + global status.

Collectively, China wants Guam + Hawaii for PLA Milbases, + 1/2 of CONUS-NORAM for "living space"; while the Hard Boyz on their part profess to want their Islamic/Islamist flag to fly over the White House = US [does China know?].

MAINSTREAM AMERS HAVE ANOTHER THING COMING IFF THEY THINK THE US CAN ABANDON OVERSEAS ALLIES + EXPAND THE US DEBT BURDEN TO NEW HEIGHTS + WHILE STILL EXPECTING TO REMAIN THE WORLD'S "SOLE/
ONLY" SUPERPOWER, OR TO STAY AS SAME.
