#6 Zimmerman may not be armed, but I'd guess his security detail certainly is. With a little imagination, a very creative sting operation could easily be hatched. Of course it won't happen.

#9 Holder wants them to keep the gun (and other evidence) so he can then requisition it (to investigate any civil actions you understand...) and tamper with it. Look for them to find some new 'evidence' the Sanford police somehow overlooked. Perhaps a KKK or Nazi flag or something (I'm sure the DNC has plenty they can spare).

Zimmerman is prolly short of cash. You KNOW some idiot has offered to auction off "The Gun" for him (for a %). Should he take that up it would be distasteful and very poor judgement and reheat the issue. Let the Feds illegally destroy it in spite. It removes the $ temptation
