#1 As deep seated as this corruption is, I am willing to give this guy a pass. when you are at the top and hundreds below you are conducting a cover up, a lot of the information you are given is probably "cooked"

I bet now that this article has hit his desk the number fired is probably 9 instead of 8...and rising.
