#1 Question is- Is this real, or is this another case of the feds talking themselves into a panic attack over what is essentially a neck beard in mom's basement talking big on twitter?

#2 ...I'd say its a lot of covering their asse(t)s that if something does goes wrong, given how so many 'known wolfs' have struck. However, given no seems to have ever been fired or really demoted from their office of responsibility for past failures, why worry? It's more of a cover for the expect yearly bonus check.

As for preemptive doom saying for CYA vs. never fired for failure, remember that heads of agencies do have to stand in front of congress and explain their agencies failures. This can be an unpleasant experience. It can result in budgets being trimmed back.
