#5 These rockets are fired all the time. Israel usually retaliates immediately if they hit Israeli soil.

Many rockets fall back in Gaza as they are crude, home made from the water system pipes.

If it is a solid rocket motor it does work (esp with some fiberglass wrapping and it's is lighter with more uniform characteristics.

Short answer: these guys are semi literate script kiddies of the improvised weapons engineering department. They were given a recipe for rocket design that actually sorta kinda works, and they will follow that recipe no matter what. Innovation is strongly discouraged.

Furthermore- cultural experience with bomb making (the ever popular red wire- blue wire oops thing) gives additional incentive to not tamper with a system that sorta works and does not kill the launch team every 3rd attempt.

Sewer pipe sugar rockets sorta kinda work. They seem to not blow up too often on launch. As for aim and impact point, Inshallah.
